We were very pleased with the entire experience, from scheduling sales appointment to installation There were no hidden "add-ons", which we experienced with the big home improvement stores The price we were quoted included everything Seeing the flooring samples in our home really helped us make the best choices We were happy to leave the furniture moving and carpet removal to the installers which made things so much easier on us We would definitely recommend Empire Today over the home improvement stores!

Terrible terrible terrible! I scheduled an in home estimate and the salesman never showed upAfter the appointment window was blown I received a call from the HQS customer service saying that they wanted to reschedule and that the salesman came but I wasn't homeThat was a lie because I was in my driveway the entire day working on sanding and painting furnitureThe customer service called back again the next day and asked to reschedule and offered me a discountAgainst my better judgement I agreedThe second salesman showed up on time and was pleasantThe price was about $less than another bid and the carpet quality was betterI took the deal because we are prepping to sell our house and the price was goodI received an email the day before our planned install that said the installers would call between 8-with an estimated arrival timeI didn't get a call until They finally showed up at noonAt the end of they day they told me that the salesman didn't estimate the amt of carpet correctly and that there wasn't enough for the sets of stairs or the master closet and that they would have to talk to the schedulers to see when they could come backAfter waiting a day and a half for a call, I finally called them to see when they were planning on coming outThe customer service person was very rude and said, well they told you they would be out tomorrowThat is not what they saidAbout an hour after the call with the customer service rep, I received an email for the install prep for the next dayOn the day of the second go round of install, I never received a call from the installers, even though the email says they will call in the morning with an estimated arrival windowFinally around noon, I again called customer service, and they called the installers who said between 4-They finally showed up at 6pm, did I mention that the email says they will install your carpet between 8am and 6pmSo now it's 7:pm on a Saturday night and we are having carpet installedIf our house wasn't getting ready to go on the market in a week I would've told them to pull up what they installed and give me my money backTerrible company, terrible customer serviceI would NEVER recommend this company to a friend or even an enemy for that matter

Empire came to my house on May 11th & sold me on a laminate flooring and said it would take "3-days to complete"What a bunch of BS that was!The job started as scheduled on 6-as we agreed uponToday is 6-and the job is still not doneThe installation was supposed to be complete by 6-but a under order or under shipping of the trim was placed therefore the job was incompleteThe installation supervisor assured me they would get the materials ordered so they could return on Friday 6-to completeOn top of that, a over order of the laminate was sent and now I'm stuck with unopened boxes that I guess Empire expects me to pay for!Friday 6-came and went with no installers or phone call what so ever to say why no one was comingAfter making calls to Empire's so called top notch customer service, all I got was "we will make some calls & try to find out what happened"By Friday night no response or answer was giving to meFirst t

I purchased flooring and window shades from Empire last week I am very satisfied with the whole experience The salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful and answered all my questions The installers did a wonderful job of installing my flooring The shades are ordered but not in yet but I expect the same experience with them

Stay Away from this country, they ARE CROOKSSales Rep Jay [redacted] came to our home to measure for a bedroom carpet jobMeasured square feetAfter viewing samples we found one that we likedJay ordered and scheduled the install date for 9-15-Was called by the installer Mike at we settled on 1:00PM on 9-15-(do have copy of contract if you need it) Installers arrivedHe walked inDid not introduce the other man with hiMike was rude, and unprofessional Mike walked into the room he did a measure, and said to us, the measurements were correct by JayHe than walked out and measured the carpet in his truckMy husband was there and he noticed that the carpet he was measuring was not the carpet we ordered B e careful when ordering, keep the sample of your purchase Many internet complaints state they do switch the carpetMike than stated that carpet was not the right sizeHe came back in, I asked him to wait until I called the number, and he said noThan asked me if I wanted my furniture backHe was in a hurryI replied to him, to wait, he than turned and left I called the number and was connected to the head installation coordinatorHis name was Porsirio(sp)His accent was so bad I could not understand himAnother frustration to add to the already existing frustrationTheir whole call center that supports Customers is located in Texas, and filled with [redacted] workersHe said he would call Jay..and call me backI waited hours did not here from him so I called him backHe said that there was a system error, and that is why the mistakes took placeWhich I do not believe At that afternoon Jay shows upHe said he wasted NO time in going right to the top when he heard about the errorsHe said he would be talking to Steve(some big shot in Tampa) and call me backI have not received a call from either Steve or Jay [redacted] since 9-15-I called # three more times and asked them to page Jay, they said they did, and they also said his phone was OFFThe disrespect, unprofessionalism and sheer dishonesty they have treated us during this experience is what I have read about over and over again on the internetOn Monday 9-19-I canceled the install by calling the #Refin tdaysIf they do not respond in that timeframe, my next step is legal action

Very enjoyable experience with these guys The salesman was very knowledgeable and very nice He explained everything well, and left no surprises The installation was spot on Great work by the contractors, and done in record time, as well I had the luxury of being able to allow them to stay later in the evening and they were done in 1/the estimated time WITH a quality install of the product

The sales lady was nice, patient and not pushyThe installers were super nice and very quick but they did not compromise the quality of their work and did a wonderful job

This company is the worst in customer serviceThey are more eager to put in new product than fix the product they have installed improperly No executive officer is available to speak I will never use this company again and will not recommend them to my worst enemy

Empire Today did a top notch jobEverything went smoothly with no issues whatsoeverBoth Sales and Installation were able to give opinions on how we wanted things done and the whole experience could not have been better10+!

This was the most awesome experience I have ever had with any business I can recallThey literally saved us from a very bad experience with another company I would rather not name, although we never even had to mention our situation to EmpireThey did everything they said they would, or more, on time, or earlier, in a manner that was personal, professional, and painlessGreat product, great installation, competitively priced, and great warrantyWe cannot think of anything they could have done better!

I am very disappointed in the service I recently received from the sales professionals at Empire Today I have used them in the past and was very pleased but am surprised at the lack of response I have received while trying to give them more work I have set up two appointments to have someone come out and no one shows or calls We call the call center and are told they are not sure why the sales person is not coming out I have been told that a sales manager will call me and work with me but they don't call either I work for a large company where service is Key and in no way would treat a customer this way I find it extremely frustrating that I have no none else to contact

Empire Today failed to show up to our house three times1) On 1/21/we signed a contract with an Empire Today salesperson to install hardwood floors in three rooms and a hallwayAdditionally, the salesperson arranged for an adjoining bathroom to be tiledThe install was set for 1/28/and we were to have the rooms cleared of all items except the largest furniture, of which they would move2) On 1/28/16, with the rooms cleared, the salesperson arrived with a tile installer who started on the bathroomHowever, when no hardwood installer arrived by late morning, we called Empire TodayThe representative said that they didn't load the truck with the wood so it would have to be done tomorrow (1/29)3) On 1/29/16, no one arrived at the house or called againWe called Empire Today in the late morning asking why no one arrived or calledThis representative said that there wasn't any wood as the load was still in AtlantaWe asked why we were lied to the day before and rescheduled for today when there wasn't wood there yetNo good answer was provided and we were told that we had such a good deal that he couldn't lower the price to compensate us for the lost time from workHe did "promise" that the wood would come in on Sunday (1/31/16) so we could have the install done on 2/1/Foolishly, we didn't want to go through another sales process so we agreed to wait4) One 2/1/16, no installer or phone call by lunchAt the time, we demanded our deposit back and after several calls to Empire Today and our credit card company, we were able to confirm that

About three years ago I purchased carpeting with Empire for my upstairs bedroom, basement and slate for my small computer room which cost me $ I called as the upstairs carpet with bunching up and had to be stretched and they sent people over to do this Later on my basement carpet started to do the same but this time it was bunching up in different sections which absolutely looks horrendous I called and was initially told that there is only a one year warranty which the person who came over our house forgot to mention and it was over that time period so we would have to pay to have this stretched I found this utterly ridiculous as I felt after sending a substantial amount of money they should be doing this without charging us further After a bit of phone calls, I was told that they would definitely come and do this for us at no charge I set this up for October 6th, 2016, today I was called by customer service who informed me that the installer "George" would be at my home between 12:p.mand 6:p.mI waited all day and by 6:p.mand no call nor anybody from Empire showing up I called customer service to find out what had happened I spoke to a young lady by the name of Courtney who said she would call the installer and let me know when he would be arriving She got back on the phone and indicated that she had spoken with him and that he was not able to show up today as he was stuck on another job I could not believe what she was telling me Not even a call to tell me that they weren't showing up, not even a sorry from this young lady Courtney, just her attitude that I would have to set up a new appointment You have to be kidding!!!!! This company undoubtedly is the worst company I have ever dealt with They obviously do not care if their customers sit around all day waiting for them and don't even bother to let anybody know that they are not showing up I am so angry that I wasted a whole day sitting around waiting while I locked up my cat and took things off my basement wall as I was told to do I want this sagain but not for me to be waiting around with a four hour window I refuse to do this once again I would like some one to tell me why I was not called or informed that these guys weren't showing up!

Overall Empire Today solved my carpet need in three days - phone call, sales associate, carpet crew

Had Engineered Hardwood installed in living/dining room area this week The floors are beautiful and the installation was flawless - just as promised by the sales rep Could not have asked for better service!

We had Empire install carpets in our living, dining, family rooms and stairs/hall Over all, we, had a very good experience The salesman was new and a little unsure of himself, but that actually was better for us because he didn't go into a heavy sales pitch which would have turned us off I had never picked out carpet at my house before...it had its pros and cons The con was, you depend on the salesman to understand what you are saying, he goes to his truck to pick out what he thinks you want to see In a showroom, I can look over everything However, after a couple of runs to the truck, he did get us what we were looking for The pro was I could pick up the sample and match it to my walls in my lighting situation, etc We were trying to match a particular maroon color for the stairs and after a couple of tries got one that worked I don't like negotiating for products (I prefer to see prices listed and know what I am getting into), but we were able to get a deal that we could live with If I hadn't already had a budge in mind and visited other stores, this would have been a harder process for me We were very pleased how quickly they could come out and install and in days, the carpet was in! The installers did a good job and asked us to inspect as they finished each room They were hard workers and it took them from 9:am to about pm to finish They had promised that the installers would speak good English -- one had a hard time speaking English, and the lead spoke "okay." All in all, we have been pleased

The sales person was very professional and didn't make it seem like we were a burden because of our budget She worked with us to get to a price point that I needed for my floors The installation was done swiftly and they did a wonderful job
