Our service was starsWe had two very dedicated installers, who did an excellent job removing old flooring and carpetingThey were in our home for over hours to complete the jobThere was never a rush, or a complaintWe even had to take our dog to the emergency vet, and leave them workingWe returned and they were still cleaning up, moving furniture backVacuuming and sweepingWe were very impressed with installersThe flooring turned out gorgeous, as did the new carpeting on our 2nd floorI hate reading all the negative commentsWe prepared our home inside and outside; making sure the workers had enough room to navigate up the stair case, and carrying supplies into our homeNothing was damagedMy husband is currently getting treatment for lung cancer, and I am a disabled veteranThey helped us in so many ways

Last Friday I had my third installation of products in my home from Empire TodayI like doing business with them because they are timely, cost effective,efficient and clean

We had a great experience with EmpireEverything was done on time and we are thrilled with our new floors and carpetEmpire was great to work withEveryone was so nice tooGreat customer serviceI would definitely choose them again and have already referred them to friends

We appreciate the customer contacting us regarding their concernsScratching is considered site related damage and not covered by warrantyWe have offered to fully replace with an upgraded style of flooring for only the cost of laborAlternately, we have offered no cost replacement as a one-time courtesy, for only the areas of concern.We look forward to the customer’s positive response to our offers

From the initial appointment we made, to the courteous and knowledgeable representative who visited us and helped with our decisions, to the two installers who were thoughtful, professional, careful with our furniture, and very courteous, we are extremely pleased with the personal service, and product quality of Empire Today

We were very pleased with Empire's handling of our inquiry Our salesman, Brian [redacted] was very knowledgeable, personable and accommodating, not making us feel like he was rushed in any way We were pleased with the finished product My only concerns were that our installation date was postponed a week with only one day's notice, and the sales contract did not delineate prices line by line, but only gave a final total I could only "trust" what I was being told

The issue I had was that according to an email I got from the company I was scheduled a window of two hours for a free estimate of services at my homeWaited two hours and not one phone call or emailWhen I tried to contact the company I waited almost minutes on the phone and nothingI wasted two hours for no reason

THIS COMPANY IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITHIf your smart nobody will ever call this company for any kind of flooringTheir service, their communication between other employees is a disgraceI made an appointment with them to have a kitchen floor put in on July 5th (good off work with no pay for this appt)today is now July and I still have NOT received my floor installation!! the 1st appt my so called product didn't show up on the truck at the company due to the "holiday weekend" they did however take off money for the "inconvenience" now rescheduled for the following Sat July 9th, appt to be set between 12-nobody called or showednice summer day out we sat around all day now for a second day just waiting, now they apologize and credit me more off of my total, reschedule for the next saturday now mind you all these times we are moving ALL furniture in kitchen to another room! so now we've moved it a total of times out and back in! next sat July a guy calls says he is on his way he will be there in the hour, he gets there looks over the job said that they did put the "luan board" in his truck that was obviously included in my total that I had to pay forhe would be back with in the hour he left and never cam back never called nothing! AND you cannot get through to ANYBODY on a saturday because nobody works on saturdays! so now I call monday they apologize they have no idea what happen the Luan board WAS on his truck the manager said HE put it on there hisself! credit me more money to reschedule! I reschedule for the FOURTH time this past saturday the 23, guy comes out gets ready to lay the floor he says we don't need to use the Luan board that I supposedly need and I paid for! so now I'm livid! Now I do not want him to do the work until I know for sure that I'm getting reimbursed for the 624$ worth of luan board that they charged me in my total! so now if they take off that Luan board my total is practically nothing due to there lack of running a business and all of there no calls no shows on my other appointments! so I send the installer on his way and cancel for the day because I cannot speak to anybody until monday to see if I am getting a refund for the luann board that I paid for that I no longer need! I speak to the installation manager monday he says 624$ will be credited to your total that we can reschedule FOR THE 5TH TIME! That a different manager, will call me back to authorize the discount and reschedulesince day one July 5th until July I have spoken to different people! nobody knows anything about my issues I had to explain the same story repeatedly over and over again! so monday no call back to reschedule tuesday they say "somebody will call me back in min"! in the mean time I'm calling and texting numbers that different managers have called me from with no response! finally wed july I get a call from a guy I have never spoke to he said the information that the installation manager gave you was incorrect we can no longer discount you any more money ! and he let me know that the luan board that they said I had to purchase was NEVER ADDED INTO MY GRAND TOTAL! but is on my receipt (luan board to be laid in kitchen and small bathroom) this company is full of ***!!!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY DEAL WITH THEM EVER!!! MORAL OF THE STORY I CANCELLED AFTER WEEKS OF APPOINTMENTS AND TOTAL BS!!!! I HOPE EVERYBODY READS THIS AND CALLS SOMEBODY ELSE!

This was a great experience from start to finish Got the carpet we wanted installed on the date we wanted No hassles whatsoever and the job turned out beautifully

We had laminate installed in FebruaryThe explanation of how it was to be done around the baseboards was not properly explained to the contractors and thus for quarter round put along the outside of the existing baseboardsI had to ask for a buildup around the fireplace because the wood was not flush to the tileWithin hours my husband bumped the wood and it totally popped off, only to realize the nails are sticking straight up and one of the kids or animals would have a nail straight thru their foot The contractors also tried to claim we had a leak in the basement after they put the toilet back (without the seal) and left me without water for several hours after they leftI had to call a contractor friend over who said there was no leak, it was simply the toilet needed sealed and mounted I had one appointment scheduled for someone to come back and fix the flooring around the fireplace in MarchThe date of Empire calls to say the product is not in and they need to rescheduleI called to reschedule but they have not been able to confirm if the flooring is available After months of run around I have found out the floor, that they have guaranteed for life, has been discontinued and they are trying to find a solution to my problem, that was weeks agoA guaranteed product needs to have replacements availableIt should not take this long to get fixed

Empire Today installed carpeting for us within hours of our meeting with the sales associate He listened to what we wanted and provided samples exactly like our request Installers were quick and we really didn't even know they were in our house They took of their business very professionally and treated our home with respect My carpet is beautiful!

I am a repeat customer with Empire Today I bought window treatments from them years ago Since then I've had new windows and doors installed and unfortunately the old window blinds would not fit the new windows Since I was happy with their service last time, I decided to do business with them again And AGAIN, I have never been happier with their products and services They did an excellent job of measuring everythingand they did an excellent job of installing all the window treatments They're beautiful and I just love them I would definitely call Empire Today again!

I am a single mother working full timeMy time is valuable as I have a busy schedule with children, school and workI submitted a request for an in home estimate the first week of February for Wednesday February 11th between the hours of pm to 7pmI rushed to get home and get my children fed before a representative would be thereI did not receive a phone call until after pm letting me know the representative was not able to make it for unnamed purposesI rescheduled my appointment for today Saturday February 14th between the hours of am and pmI did not receive a phone call until after pm and the person on the phone told me the representative cancelled due to a blizzard/weather conditionsI have things I could be taking care of but instead I rearranged my schedule for a second time to be hereI was planning on replacing carpeting, vinyl on my floors and cellular shades in every roomNot only have you wasted my time but currently it is not snowing and the roads are clearI am very disappointed and disturbedIt is one thing to cancel an appointment, another thing to wait until the appointment time to cancelMost businesses/offices will charge a fee for thatHow much is my time worth to youIt is quite clear

We purchased LVT (luxury vinyl tile) and had it installed by empireThe covering in one piece of tile has peeled up and toreWe contacted Empire and they would not do anything because it is past their installation warrantyTheir only offer was to make us pay for half of a case ($80) for one tileNo spare tiles were left behind by the installer We called [redacted] a flooring and they advised the tile has a lifetime warranty but the claim needed to filed through and by EmpireWe contacted Empire and told them what the manufacturer saidEmpire still did not wish to do anything and then said they would help only if we never filed another warranty claimWe are still trying to come to a reasonable conclusion on thisNot the way I like to be treated after spending $at this business

Nightmare, Nightmare cancelled appointment don't return phone calls, still owe me money but they don't careCalled numerous times no call back

So far Empire has failed to communicate fully on our floor installation twice! The first time we spoke with a rep, picked out our desired flooring and set an installation dateWe contacted Empire before our installation date and ask to speak with the rep again and recalculate the space, because we wanted to cover a different size of areaWe never heard from the rep so we called again to set another apptWe never heard from that rep eitherThey eventually called weeks later to confirm our installation, in which I terminated that quicklyWe have Empire another chance and set up another installation date, and signed papers stating that the installers will call the morning of and give us an expected time of arrivalWe waited from 8am until 12pm and never heard from anyone, so we called to confirm, only to hear that one of their installers didn't show up for work, and they weren't going to be able to do the installationMy wife and I moved all of the furniture early that morning to help the installers and waited for hours until WE called to find out this newsTheir excuse was, I'M SO SORRY I FORGOT TO CALL YOU

I am very unhappy with the work thart was done I had hardwood floors put in, workmanship was very sloppyThe wood is dicolored, it is also seperating from floors and the ground round is seperating from the wallI called customer service on Thursday, I didnt get a call back till Momnday at 3:when Erin from Philadelphia called back with an attitude, stating we had to pay for them to come out and do an inspectionI asked to speak with a supervisor, Erin said there was none available till in the next dayI then asked for her full name which she refused to giveshe stated "Tell them Ein from the Philadelphia office"At this point it doesnt seem like this company is going to rectify the problemAs far as customer from this lady Erin, the worst Ive ever had to deal with
