We had a man from Empire come out to measure and give us a quoteFirst of all, he brought in all the samples but wouldn't give us a price on any of it individually and never didThat is not good businessHow do you know if you are being cheated? They quoted our sq ft house to cost $23,When we stared at the guy like he was crazy, he said, let me see what I can doSo he cut the price in half which was still ridiculousWhen he saw that we were ready to see him to the door, he said let me call a managerAnd they again cut it in halfBy the time he was done "to the lowest he could go"We were down to $He asked us what we wanted to pay and we said our budget was around 4-5kHe then told us we would have to finance it through them for $a monthHe wouldn't leave until we signed the contract with themOnce it was signed he told us we would be contacted by someone to schedule an appointment to come out and do the floorsWe cancelled the next dayAnd boy was that ridiculousThey pass you to three or four people who try to convince you that you are making a huge mistake and put you on hold for half an hour to make you change your mindFinally cancelled and I'm glad of itThose people are crooksI should have listened when someone else told me that but I wanted to take advantage of their % off dealWhat a crock!

I would like to thank Empire flooring for helping me with my flooring needs I was in the middle of a refinance and needed one room carpeted right away My sales representative schedule a consultation at my house within hours He was then able to get a team out to my house the very next morning!! The team showed up and did a fantastic job on the install I have a trap door in my closet leading to a crawl space I explained I needed to be able to have access to the crawl space below He customized the carpet so I can lift the door on the floor without pulling back all the carpeting He just cut a hole out to fit the door and secured it so you cant even see it I am so impressed with everyone at Empire who was involved in the process I will never call anyone else

I used Empire for my flooring needs and they done a GREAT JOBI'am Happy with their serviceLooking forward to using their service again

Don't bother recommending more customers with a code given by empire because it's a lie that you will recieve $per referral

Everyone from the sales person to the installation crew was extremely professional, knowledgable, and friendlyThey worked quickly and quietlyEveryone was able to answer any questions I had at anytimeI would recommend Empire Today to anyone in need of new flooringThe people were all amazing and I LOVE my new floors!!

Overall we had a great experience with Empire regarding our carpet purchase and installation

Great experience with EmpireFrom the appointment setting to meeting with the sales rep to the professionalism of the installation team, everything went very smoothly and I was very comfortable during the process

Everything from beginning to end was excellent

We were having a hard time finding the right floor colors in stores so we decided to give Empire a try since they come to your home with samples and you can see them on your floorThe sales person was great, we found just the right floor, the installation people were wonderful and the floor came out beautifulThe only caveat I would have is make sure you ask them about all the possible special offers and price reduction possibilitiesThe price we came to ultimately was considerably less than the original price offered because when we asked for it to be reduced the sales person had a coupon discount, a deduction for a sign in front of the house, and even a senior citiaen deductionBut overall, we're thrilled with the floor we got and we really liked all the people we worked with

My experience with Empire Today was a very satisfying experience The professional sales met all my needs with clear documentationThe appointment setting and company follso that I was informed and to ensure a correct installationThe installation team was very professional and they provided an on-time quality installation that we are extremely pleased with

I wish I would have done my research before getting my floors done with this horrible companyLike always every company will promise you the world and everything is beautiful but after they get you in and get your money they forget about the customer service they promise you at the beginningI had our floors installed on December of is May of and my laminate is lifting on certain spots and splitting,also some areas seen to be almost warpI have contacted empire and even have a complaint number and today is the day and time and I have not have any resolutionI was told that the floors have a lifetime warranty which is why we decided to to proceed with the purchase but after having all these issues I deeply regret not shopping around.will not do business with this company ever again and will not recommend them either

Disappointing repair follow upWe had large bedrooms and a hallway installed The installers did a HORRIBLE job at the top of our stairs We have so far scheduled repair dates, but either no one has shown up or they called to cancel hours after the appointment time Empire Representatives Jesse and Diana promised a resolution, but we are still waiting, months!!! Empire is great at showing up for the consultation and collecting payment, but standing behind their hired installers is by far a management joke!!

I will never use this company again and will continue to leave complaints everywhere on the internet, on social media, websites etcMy issue with Empire Today started Dec when the salesman showed up at my houseWent thru the estimate process...it was like buying a car, he kept calling someone to see "what he could do for us" So we finally agreed and he made us all kinds of promises such as warranty/guarantees,when the work would be finish etcNon of that "fluff" was ever lived up toSo the floor installer showed up two days before Christmas, they promised that they would be finished that day (I don't think the salesman let them know all the stuff he had promised us)They looked to be about years old but I was reassured that they knew what they were doing(they also smelled like smoke and took many smoke breaks during their time at my house) Needless to say my house was tore up for Christmas and wasn't finished til after the New YearWhat a horrible install experience!! A couple of months went by and I noticed that the laminate at the seams started to come upI was told at install never call the Cust Service line at Empire, that the installers would come out to fix anything wrongSo I was given a cell phone number to call insteadCome to find out they get graded for the installIf they get too many complaints they get fired from Empire since they are contractorsSo after several months go by with trying to contact the installer, I finally called the 1-and opened a complaintWas promised that someone would contact me, days/weeks would go by without a response so I would call back and was told that the rec had been closed and satisfied in the computer but I had not had any kind of contactI did this several times and when I called back the work order/complaint had been satisfiedFinally I called in Dec and had my complaint escalated (12/08/15) which should of happened beforeI was told that the install Manager had just been closing the orders and no longers is employedI got Ken the GM for the St Louis region, He sent numerous people out to inspect my floors, first the 12yr olds on Dec 12th, who accused me of using a steam mop on the floors, also said my dishwasher/refrigerator was leakingI had a plumber come out to inspect the appliances and he could not find any leaks, so I wasted $Then a new install manager was scheduled on Jan 19th that was a NO SHOW with no callI called the cust service line to see what the issue was and they told me the office was without power that dayI checked the Amerian Website to check for power outages in that area and I found nothing! OKAY? So he re scheduled again on Jan 29th(He got fired shortly after) Another floor crew on Feb 12th, another install manager from Chicago came to my houseTo make it worse the Chicago Install Manager arrived at my house before his scheduled appt time (he arrived at 4:and was set to be there at 4:45) started banging on the door, my daughter opened the main door slightly to try to tell him we were not home yet, but he opened the screen door and came in my house uninvitedLuckily my yr old daughter had called her Dad on her cell phone, she handed the install manager the phone and my husband pleaded with the man to exit our house while she was home aloneStill trying to file a formal complaint with Empire on that situation, since my daughter has been having nightmares from the man coming in on herThey even hired a man from miles away to drive to St Louis to inspect my floors to see what the issue wasWe were told then that his formal review would take a couple of weeks, I called the gentleman to see if he had finished his report and sure enough he had, so I called Ken at Empire this morning to check the statusHe said the report came back that it was due to topical moisture and that he blamed it on my house keepers incompetenceI was so livid all I could do is listen to this it lecture me on floor careSo I hung up and called my house keeping company, the lady did not start cleaning my house until Jan so that could not of been the problem (oh well played KEN well played) So now I have an appt for a floor crew come out on Weds the 13th to fix the other issues that I have with my floors that I did not even mention beforeI want a partial refund of my $dollar that I paid for a sq ft house of laminate flooringI will continue until my issue is resolved

Our installers were great as well as the product.We are very happy! The sales representative also very kind
