Good experience in all aspects.....scheduling, sales,and installationno complaints

My recent experience with Empire Today for my flooring project was outstanding from start to finish I will recommend this company to all that are interested in their flooring needs

The experience with Empire was goodWe live in a very rural area, however their appointments were on time and the end result was satisfactoryThe weather was cold and snowy, still the installers made a significant effort to complete the job in a professional and satisfactory manner

I purchased carpet for my family room from Empire TodayIt was an excellent experience from start to finishThe sales rep provided options and information throughout the selection process which made my decision easierThe installation was scheduled at a convenient timeThe installation team called ahead, showed up on time, and was professional throughout the appointmentI couldn't be happier with the carpet and the process overallI will definitely be a repeat customer!

We purchased carpet a few weeks ago from Empire They called to arrange installation for Friday, March They came - showed me the carpet - which was thrown in the back of a van with everyone's ripped up, dirty carpets that had been removed from other customers houses Once they remeasured, they actually asked me for the balance of the money without leaving any carpeting This caused a dispute and we settled on giving them a check for half of the balance Yesterday, we were told they were doing the install today- April As no one has yet showed up, my husband called and they said they moved it to April Now this is the second time someone has taken off work to be home This is unacceptable Trying to call customer service and no one is available with an answer These people are crooks and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone Two vacation days lost and no resolution - plus they now have 3/of the money in their pocket Not only are we disgusted with Empire installation group but just as disgusted with their total lack of customer service

On May 6th my wife and I, Joshua and Amber [redacted] , purchased new ceramic floors and carpet from your companySatisfied at the time with customer service and product installation, no problems were noted, until July 9thAt which point Amber noticed a dime size chip in the new ceramic floor in the kitchenWe immediately called customer service; they gave us a reference number and told us to wait for a call within business days that would handle our concernsSusan from the Portland, Oregon office called on July 11th and asked for us to send her a picture of the chipWe sent it over and she told us that she would call us back on July 14th but did not do soAmber called her on July 15th and was told that this chip was not covered under manufacturer or installation warranties because it was only one chipOn July 18th we discover a loose board in our kitchenAlong with the original chip, we began to inspect our ceramic floors closely only to discover multiple chips similar to the firstJuly 20th I followed up her phone call at 8:a.mand reached DoreneDorene ensured us that Christina would be in contact with us later that morning to follow up with our additional concernsChristina called around 10:a.mand asked us to send over pictures of all the chips we had foundShe said she would escalate the pictures that day with an inspection noticeAt 3:p.mwe had not heard from her, she attempted to convince us that she had tried to send an email to us earlier that morning, but failed, and behold ten minutes after our phone call we received a confirmationJuly 21st, Susan called Amber to tell her that the inspection letter had been sent off and scheduled for July 23rd between 11:a.mand 3:p.mJuly 23rd the inspector came out, took only a few picturesThe inspector did not look at the entire surface of the floor under questionHe told Amber that he did not need to see it all and therefore did not write down the full extent of the damages27th we received an email that installers would be here July 31st to fix the floorsAmber was told that the installers would call first thing that morning to inform her when they would arriveOn July 31st at 10:a.mwe did not receive that phone call, so Amber called the installation coordinator, JulianHe informed us that they would be here between and 3:p.mAt 3:p.mthe installers had not arrived and had not calledAmber called Julian back and he let us know that they were running late on a jobThey would be there between and 6:p.mThe installers were still not here at 5:p.mAmber proceeded to call the customer service line to get an ETA of our installers because Julians office was closed for the eveningAmber was told by Victor, from customer service, that they were unable to connect with our installers as the Portland office neglected to write down exactly who was going to be helping usAt 6:Elizabeth and the other installer finally arrived only to tell us that Julian and the rest of the Portland office had failed to communicate with them exactly what needed to be fixedUpon their inspection of our floors, they thought that the entire floor needed to be replacedThey then informed us, that the Portland office had only ordered two boxes worth of material and this job was going to require at least boxes and probably 1-days to completeAt this point, we sent an email and we stated that a manager needed to be in touch with me and only me by August 3rd or we would be seeking legal action from our lawyersAugust 1st, Dean, the regional manager called Amber and tried convince her, in a voicemail, that the lack of communication was unusual and that they would do everything that they could to make us happyHe proceeded to offer to replace the whole floor and he would be calling me shortly after thatAt 3:p.mI called Dean and left a voicemail because I had not received a phone call from him since he left Amber the voicemailDean called me on the third and assured me that they would replace the entire floor but could not do it until the end of August because there was a long list of costumers ahead of our fileI informed Dean that our file was priority number due to the nature of our circumstances, no later than August 5th was acceptableFinally agreeing to this date, installers would be here August 5th at 8:a.mThe installers and inspector arrived on August 5th with a communication breakdown from Dean who had told the inspector the plan had been, from the start, to remove and replace only the tiles and surrounding tiles that were chippedThe inspector and I discussed this plan, yet did not agreeThe inspector went out to his van for two hours, making phone calls, while I called Dean to discuss the planOf course dean held true to his plan for the day until I reminded Dean of our conversation we had, as well as the voicemail he left my wife, which says the installers would be replacing the whole

I had a sales rep from EmpireToday at my home on August 18th, , because I want to replace my carpet with hardwood flooringI was satisfied with the color I choose After a couple of days I reached out to her to see if there were more samples in addition to the one's she had with herI emailed her asking if there more selections and she never responded I called her a couple of days later and she said she was really busy, but would email the pictures and would schedule time to come out if I wanted to see them in person and make a change I never got anything from her and didn't hear from her I called her again and left a messageI have yet to hear from herI called customer service and have gotten nothing but the run around from her and customer serviceOne customer service rep told me she would submit a ticket to the district sales manager and I should receive a call within business hoursI haven't heard from that person either I'm very dissatisfied with how I've been treatedThis is not what I expectedI missed the deadline to cancel, otherwise I would!! I'm just hoping the installation scheduled for September 16th will be flawlessI used EmpireToday when I got my carpet installed, but I will never use EmpireToday again!! I intend to get the whole house re-done with hardwood, but Empire will not get the business Empire also advertised a $credit for scheduling the appointment online, which I did When I asked the sales rep about it she gave me a line, which made no sense, since this is what they advertised

I ordered carpeting from Empire during their 50/50/sales promotionThe salesman came to my house and everything seemed fineI set the install date for Aug10, which was about wks from the time I ordered the carpetingONE DAY before my install date, I got a call that told me the carpet could not be installed that day because they did not have any installers available in my area (Chattanooga)They said they were currently looking to resolve that problemI stayed in touch with the company until August 29th (all the time they told me they were resolving the problem) when they said that what they had been working on had fallen through and we would need to start from ground zero! I cancelled my orderWHY WOULD A COMPANY SELL CARPETING IN AN AREA WHERE THEY DON'T HAVE INSTALLERS?!!!! I have a feeling that they just strung me along because they did not want to install a carpeting for 1/priceDoesn't make any sense otherwise

I was very pleased with all aspects of this Company The only neutral thing I have to say is that the installers did not ask permission to use the bathroom in my home...they just took it upon themselves to go in there whenever they wanted

The sales rep was very knowledgeable friendly and respectfulGave us a good timeline when scheduling the appointmentThe crew that came out to install the floor did an excellent job I would definitely have them back, we love our new LVP floor!

My experience was excellent The installation crew was amazing; we allowed a two-day window for getting the work done, and they were done in less than a full day They were quick, efficient, thorough, and cleaned up everything I am very happy with my new vinyl floor

Empire Today was prompt in scheduling a visit with a sales associate, and quick to schedule an install time for our carpetThe installers did a great jobThey arrived when they said, and didn't waste any time

Great experience from start to finishI tried dealing with random companies who were hard to keep contact withI tried [redacted] stores who kept adding costs and told me the whole thing would take two weeksDealing with Empire was differentI received constant communication throughout the appointment making processMy sales appointment was thorough with information given about the company and sales representativeI was able to take my time with samples and make a decision to my wants, needs, and budgetInstallation was available for the following day, but I needed a few days and was given that flexibilityThe day before I was given a time frameThe installers called me when they were min away and arrived on timeThey worked very hard and answered any questionsI felt comfortable enough to leave my house for short periods of time to run errands and get them more water! They were very polite and efficientWill be doing business with this company again

I made an online appointment with Empire Today for 12/27/16, and (Keith) the salesman showed up at my door on the designated day within the allotted timeframe He was very informative and attentive to my flooring needs He showed me samples and I made my choice from there He gave me a quote, which was way out of my budget, and when I told him how much I was looking to spend, he called his office to see if the rate could be reduced They obliged me and gave me a more reasonable price The installation was set to take place on 12/29/16, but the paperwork got mixed up and wasn't processed in time, so the installers didn't come until 12/30/ I was disturbed and inconvenienced with the delay, but they made up for it with the professional job that was done on the 30th The installers took great care to ensure that their prep work area (outside of my house) was properly covered They also took great care in cleaning/sweeping up all fragments of the wood after the job was completed They also took all of the carpeting (that they removed from my floor), as well as all other paraphernalia that came along with the installation of my floors I was very impressed as to how they removed the molding alongside the bottom of my walls and then put it back perfectly! They did that so that the molding would be seamless I am extremely pleased with my new engineered hardwood floors! My living room looks like a totally different room! I put the before and after pics on [redacted] and received a numerous amount of likes and great comments! I had a remarkable experience with Empire Today, despite the initial glitch, so I highly recommend them for your flooring needs! From a very satisfied customer!

Had hardwood floors put in by the Empire in IndianapolisIt's been months and we still aren't finished with the whole processDon't use Empire everThe salesman misrepresented the productThe store said they would let me pick out new floors because they were only halfway done anywayAfter they said that they stopped returning my calls for almost a monthWhen we did hear from them finally they didn't really seem to care that I was unhappy with the serviceWe decided that sincwe we had our house torn apart for a month that we would just get them finished with the materials we originally picked outIt took another week and a half to get the pieces ordered and installedSince we didn't change the materials they agreedon't to refund us a portion of our install priceIt's been a month now and still no reimbursement check and no phone call

Awful carpet, install & customer service! Carpet is only 1/years old and looks like it's years old! The carpeting is buckling all overOutside of my son's bedroom the area buckled so much that my son who had knee surgery tripped over it required more physical therapyAfter several phone calls and emailed pictures letting them know all this nothing has been done! Disgrace!

By far the worst service I have ever encounteredI had an important scheduled for Tuesday 04/between 3-I received a call on that Tuesday TEN minutes prior to when they are supposed to be there, to tell me they aren't comingI was very upset because I had to miss work to make this appointmentAfter finally accepting it, I rescheduled that next dayWed 04/between 3-I advised the rep that I needed to leave around and to make sure the rep got here as close to as possibleI advised that they were inconveniencing me and that it's important someone get's here as close to So that Wednesday I receive a call a little after to tell me that the rep wouldn't be there at 3, they are finishing up a jobAround they called me back to tell me they rep couldn't comeI was livid! Not only once did they screw me, but now twiceThere excuse was that they shouldn't guarantee a time to someone At well it's one thing to not be able to make it at but AGAIN, for the SECOND DAY, you can't even make it between the allotted time given to me I advised them how upset I was and how much they have inconvenienced me and they had NO remorse what so ever They didn't care that this not only happened once but this happened twice, the VERY NEXT DAY! I was beyond angry I asked for a manager, who was nothing but unprofessionalHis advice to me was to call the sales rep and ask when he could get hereTHAT IS NOT MY JOB! I was told on Tuesday that the rep would be here as close to as possible due to what happenednot only could he not get here at but he couldn't even get here when he was supposed tooI have never received such horrible customer serviceThey did not care if they lose business and they did not care about customer satisfactionOf course I asked for a customer complaint line and of course they didn't have oneWorst company ever! I understand stuff happens which is why I became understanding on Tuesday and just reschedule but the fact that it happened twice, back to back is uncalled for They really show that big companies only care about the bottom line and could not give two cares in the world about their customers The "manager" told me the sales rep was last to his previous calls which is why he couldn't get to mineI was told that I was listed as a priority but they don't the dispatching and that they can't not help it where he goes firstI have a small townhouse that needed measuredI still can't believe how they handled my call and how they couldn't care they lost my business

I've used empire carpet in Illinois, Indiana, and homes in New Jersey, all with a positive experience! Moved to vegas, where we had laminate floors installedWithin the first days, the floor was chipping, but we called and got the run aroundWe called a year later when the transition piece was chipping, AGAIN the run around! FINALY after only years, the floors were completely destroyed, and I had all the time in the world to sit on the phone to try and resolve thisI paid and they said d they'd send someone out and repair the floor for an additional RIDICULOUS! I wouldn't give this company a penny! After spending k and never a complaint, you think they'd want to keep a customer happyNever again

HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE , PROFESSIONAL, TIMELY,RESPECTFUL THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND THE CARPET IS WONDERFUL
