Empire Today is a reputable company that does exceptional installation of a quality productThe Salesman who sells the product is professional, hardworking and takes time to make sure you like what you are orderingWe were impressed by the communication from the company in keeping us informed every step of the wayGreat hard working representatives from sales to installationWe would highly recommend Empire Today!

Responsiveness and service was excellent The salesperson was very polite and trustworthy and did not use pressure to make his sale The carpet purchased was beautiful and the installation went smoothly The installers were very helpful in moving the furniture as I was not able to have the rooms ready for them I highly recommend their services without any reservations

Had sales appointment and rep failed to show upI called company and customer service rep said sales rep had car trouble and they would rescheduleI complained about unprofessionalism for not informing in advanceOffice Manager Harold offered $credit and setup guaranteed appointment next day at exact timeThey never showed up again! I called and customer service rep spent time reading notes, had nothing intelligent to say, offered to have me speak with managerAfter long hold no manager availableCustomer service rep offered to have manager call backI asked her not to bother as I will find a more responsible company for my carpet and installation needs; and will negatively blog about my experience to prevent others from making same mistakeOne quick search on Yelp and noticed every review is negativeWish I read this in advance but hopefully you areEverything all these people complained about is accurateDon't waste your time with this company - they don't care about wasting your timeAnd because they couldn't get it right at sales, I have no idea of their quality and workmanship

The entire experience with Empire was fast, friendly, professional and went without a hitchOur sales representative, Jon, arrived on time and he listened and complied with our needs and requestsHe worked with us to be sure we were getting the best price for carpeting the entire upstairs and the stairway going up thereThe carpet selections were way better than I expectedThe installation team worked quickly and efficiently, respectful of the new paint and improvements we just had completedVery little touch up work had to be done after them

To anyone that needs carpet now or in the future, do yourself a favor and DO NOT contact Empire TodayMy husband and I are very patient and understanding people and Empire has given us the absolute WORST experienceWe had carpet installed in our bedrooms on 8/27, the installers cracked our hard wood in the process and did not let us knowWe noticed the same day as we were moving items back in the rooms and called immediatelyin over weeks, we have called over times to follow up on empty promises, each time asking to speak to management (only one time were we successful...) & attitude when we demanded a date (due to another empty promise) for someone to come fix their damageFast forward to today, my mother kindly took a few hours off of work to meet them at our house for our 11-time slot, and they were a no showI called customer service again where they said the installers are "hung up wherever they are and won't be there until 2-3pm"And I should add, all that they will be doing is "covering up" the damage with a wider transition strip since we do not have any additional hardwood from when we bought the house back in We came to Empire to help the sale of our house, and instead we inherit damage to perfectly good flooring and a band-aid solution that we have had to basically BEG for, for weeksPlease save your time and money and shop else where

Our experience with Empire was wonderfulI was nervous about meeting them since I had no background in what our project was going to entailBrady, the salesperson, was genuine, helpful and knowledgeable We selected our carpet and laminate and set installation datesInstallers for both items were diligent and meticulousOur home looks beautifulWe are very happy

My new floors make a terrible creaking, cracking, and snapping sound with every footstepI did talk to one person who agreed to send out people for a home inspectionThose men told me they would recommend replacing the floor, and putting in new onesErin and these two men (at different times) said this has happened to others and perhaps it's faulty flooring I have these laminate floors in the kitchen, dining room, living room and hallwayThis is very distressingErin assured me things would be taken care of and not to worryWhenever I call I get the voice mail and I leave a message, but no one will return my call to let me know how they are going to proceedIt is embarrassing and humiliating to have these floorsHow can I sell this house later on with these floorsMy neighbors are appalled with the noiseNow I feel like Empire is ignoring me

Empire is bogus The half price sale advertised on the television commercial is a farce The salesman that came to my home talked a good game but the installers were unwilling to deliver the goods as promised I was suppose to have laminate floors put in my dining room and living room today However, the installers that were sent were rude and unprofessional They called their manager upon arrival and told him that they were asked to move furniture prior to installation That was a boldfaced lie My husband and I moved the furniture from the dinning room to the living room last night and told the installers we would move the furniture from the living room to the dining room when they were ready The manager had the audacity to tell me to hire a trailer to place my furniture in until the installation was complete This is not the contractual agreement made with the salesman They refused to do the job and left my homeEmpire tactics can be described as high way robbery How in the world do you charge an astronomical amount for laminate flooring with half off and still charge roughly $to senior citizens living on a fixed income? I talked with my son and daughter and was promptly advised to cancel the contract and get my money back The customer service needs to be re-trained on how to handle customer complaints Luckily for them, I will receive my money back after demanding it repeatedly since the customer service rep was trying to convince me otherwise My floors will be done by a reliably bonded contractor that quoted a price for hardwood flooring (not laminate) well below the Empire's $ Incidentally, he will take care of moving the furniture as well

The customer paid $by credit card for the deposit payment; this is reflected on the signed purchase order contractThe $refund was processed back to the credit card used for the deposit payment The check was processed electronically for the COD payment as writtenThe difference, the discount described above, was processed as agreed

Thrilled start to finish! ETA for the sales guy was 3-pm, he was here at on the dotHe showed me several options for my needs, did pricing on all of the options I wanted to price out and was even able to get them out here the next day b/c I had the day off from work The installation happened to a tee exactly how he described and they were in and out in under an hour leaving brand new fabulous carpet, taking the old, and making sure I was comfortable the entire time they were here! I recommend to all!

I was impressed with the whole process and how easy they made itI scheduled the initial appointment online, the representative was here on time, he listened to my needs and even offered a discount because they could not meet the next day offer, due to high demand from other customersThe installers were professional and timelyI love the vinyl especially, and the entire downstairs looks so much better!!

On 10/29/we had a sales repfrom Empire come to give us a quote on vinyl flooringThe estimated start date was 11/06/When the installers showed up, They said that the vinyl had been measured and cut wrongSo we rescheduled for 11/11/On that day Empire called and said the installer was a NO-SHOWNo callNothingNow my wife has taken two days offLost PayRescheduled again for 11/16/At 8:the installer calledSaid he was on his wayWhen he got at my house, he said the vinyl had a hole or a tare in the kitchen part of the flooringBesides they had not ordered all of the finishing parts of the flooring jobAfter three attempts at working with Empire and three days of lost money for my wifeWe have had enoughWe told them to take the flooring backI didn't want to deal with them and I wanted my deposit backThey are sending money back, but that will take up to days

I couldn't be happier with my experience from the initial appointment, to the sales rep, to the products, to the installation I never had a job this big where my Wife and I were so completely satisfiedThe salesman and the installers seemed to go out of their way to please us and they definitely did

After scheduling installation for my flooring which consisted of vinyl and carpet, everything went wrongIt was scheduled that one crew were to do both the vinyl and carpetThat did not happenI drove hours to get to this locationI was actually on vacationI get a phone call saying this is Empire and I'm on the way to install your vinyl flooringI said okay, but I was told that one crew was going to do both the vinyl and carpetHe said oh noIf the carpet guy is going to be there then I'll come tomorrowI told him NOI need it all done todayI was going home a thousand miles away tomorrowSo he came and did his jobThen the carpet people come and they say they couldn't work with the vinyl guy there, and they leftAfter spending an hour on the phone with the Orlando office, the did come back at 6:pmThe attitude with both the installers was very poorThe completion of the finished product was very nice, but took a lot of aggravation to get it

I am filing this complaint because of several different reasons We had set up an appointment for a sales person to come out and give us an estimate He never showed up or called the first time, he called and could not show up the second time and he finally showed up the third time Because of the sales guy not showing up until the third time Empire Today took $off our order which we were happy with and this is why we had decided to do business with them We put a deposit down of $for carpet in bedrooms and laminate wood flooring in our living room and hallway We had scheduled installation for Thursday November 10, for laminate and Friday November 11, for carpet The installers did show up to install our laminate flooring on Thursday but there are a few gaps and they nailed trim onto our existing trim Then we got a call from customer service on Friday at 10:am that they could not find an installer to install our carpet We had already pulled all our stuff out of our bedrooms and I had my kids stay home from school to finish it and my husband took off of work and then they didn't come So we had it rescheduled for today Tuesday November 15, I told them that they could come out anytime after 1:pm At 1:pm I called Empire Today to see if they were still coming and the customer service lady told me that we were on the schedule for today and that we should be receiving a call from the installer on the arrival time We got another call about 2:pm today and it was the installation coordinator saying that the installer was there to pick up everything for our job and he said he refused to do the job and left So we have been stood up again regarding this installation The coordinator said that the problem they are having is that I want an afternoon installation and no one wants to come out to our place that late On the emails we get about installation it says that they come out anywhere from 8:am-6:00pm So how is this our problem We have took everything out of our bedrooms twice now and have taken our beds apart and taken everything out and for nothing yet again This is ridiculous that this company has sub-contractors that don't wont do to the job Are we ever gonna get what we have paid for??? We refuse to pay the price after everything we have been through this company!!!! We want our money back!!!!!! The worst company I have dealt with!!!! What is Empire Today gonna do to make this right?????

Whole experience was handled exceptionally well Installation was handled with great skill Will recommend
