Camelback Hyundai Kia Reviews (332)

I...

have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

1.  I was promised a refund of approximately $650 from the two year's license tabs I had just purchased for the car I was trading in, and instead they applied part of that money owed me to the license tabs on the new vehicle, and sent me the difference.  I will never be satisfied with their "we've done everything we can" response, because they cheated me out of approximately $350 and they refuse to make it right.

2.  I was promised $50 for filling out a survey, which they refused to send me after 3 requests.  I want to fill out the survey and I want the $50 they promised me.  If the survey "isn't there any longer" as they state, then I want the $50 mailed to me.

Resolution:  A check for approximately $400 from the dealership.

Regards,

I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to Andre s[redacted] for all of the help he gave me with the purchase of my new 2015 kia forte.I love my new kia!

To whom it may concern,I have spoken directly with Mr Young, and have explained all of the charges on the contract.  Per our discussion we will remove the $2000 Service contract, and everything else will remain the same.  THank you for your time.[redacted]...

I had a great experience with Justin and Kurt as they answered all of my questions even though I wasn't able to buy at this time, but when I'm able to I'll definitely come back to them

Victor was very friendly and helpful! I am pleased with the deal he got me on my Kia optima!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

They gave me the run around when purchasing a new car. They disrespected my father and me. The sales manager was by far the most unprofessional manager I have ever encountered in any industry. I could describe in detail what the issue was, but it will not matter to this company. Take your business elsewhere along Camelback, and I promise you it will be a better experience than what you will receive at this dealership.

I took my mother in laws' car in for a recall service, while I was in town from TN. when I arrived at the dealership, I decided to talk to a customer service/ sales agent about trading the car in. I was BLESSED to have the opportunity to work with Ada R[redacted]! She was very pleasant and patient. She listened to everything I said and actually paid attention; when it was time to show me the cars, she knew exactly what I was looking for! She let me test drive the car to my mother in laws house ,so that my mother in law could see the car. we had a great conversation on the way!!! she seems to be very smart , motivated and organized!! once back at Camelback Kia, she presented the proposed deal in a clear and concise manner. after some compromise on both our parts and steve p[redacted] (the sales floor manager), I decided to keep the old car and also buy a new 2015 kia soul. thank you ADA , STEVE & also, BRITTANY in the service department, ya'll made it the MOST PLEASANT experience I have ever had buying a car!

Couldn't ask for a better shopping experience my sales person Ada was the best!

I wish I could give them a 0 rating. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!!!! We drove over an hour to test drive a van and since my husband and I work opposite shifts he called ahead that morning and gave them all his information including everything to run his credit and get bank offers on the vehicle. When I got there I drove the van and it seemed good. The sales person Josh and an accounting person sat down and asked if I was buying the car today. I told them no because my husband was coming the next day. They continued to ask several more times if I would buy the car or if I could get my husband in that day. When I asked to see the numbers he brought me "theoretical numbers" and had no idea that my husbands credit had already been pulled. I told him to figure out the numbers before the next day. I then had to tell the salesman to leave me alone so I could leave and as I was leaving was yelling at me to try buying it with my name instead of my husband. My husband talked me down because Jeff, an internet sales manager called him. They then called me back to tell me what our offers would be so I set up a meeting the next morning. When we got there we drove the van right away and my husband said it was good except that it needed an alignment and they told us they would do that. We sat in their showroom for another 6 hours even though they said the night before that everything would be ready and we would just have to sign the papers. They brought a new deal and said they had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned the conversation from the night before. He also had no idea I had asked for a second key and the alignment to be part of the deal. After they finally came back with an offer we accepted we did all the paperwork and got ready to leave (over 6 hours later). When we got in the van it was still dirty! Our salesman said he didn't know how since it had just come out of detailing. We asked for a manager and they couldn't find one for a while and when we finally got one they said "what do you want us to do?" So I asked for Jeff again and demanded that they redo the detailing and drop the car off at my work. They agreed but made sure I knew they weren't happy about it. Once we drove the van we realized they hadn't done the alignment but didn't want to deal with their rudeness. Then 3 days later we were setting up the Bluetooth only to learn that the van didn't have it. We called the dealership to tell them and asked what they were going to do about it since that's the main reason we went with this van. They said they would talk and then called back an hour later and said "We understand there's a problem with the bluetooth? Can you please come in?" So we drove the hour there and sat down with a finance person (Tiger?) He said sometimes this happens and its impossible for his sales team to know about the cars on the lot but it was their mistake but said they wouldn't do anything about it. Then he said, "I found out about your loan and you need a co-signer." So we ran the loan with me even though I told them it wouldn't work. He assured me that it would. He came back a half hour later and said the loan wasn't approved and we are taking the van back immediately. My husband asked how we were supposed to get home and he said he would ask. I asked him how could they ask us to come in under the pretense that they were looking at the Bluetooth and he said he had no idea we were coming in for the Bluetooth and they didn't know about the loan until the minute we walked in. We got all our stuff out of the van and then had to ask again how we were getting home. He said we had to find our own way home! I asked for a manager and never got one. I had to walk into the finance room and demand someone take us home so my 5 month old didn't have to stand in the heat any longer (it had already been 30 minutes). They got a lot attendant but we asked for our deposit checks back before leaving and they refused to give them back so we had to pay to cancel them with our bank. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!

I was not credited the agreed amount for my two trade-ins. This was brought to their attention immediately after I caught this in finance. I am requesting that I am issued a refund for $3,000 that I am owed due to a fraudulent transaction and my witness that was in finance with me during this transaction can testify.

This is not buyers remorse... This is fraud!!! I just want the agreed upon amount for my two trade-ins. After this issue arised I found reviews left by other consumers and I am not the first person this has happened to according reviews that have been left by other consumers with this same dealership.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

They called and asked questions,I said I need my contract back to show my lawyers. They made no offer to resolve anything.

Regards,

I purchased a car from this business back in September 2012 and I have had atleast 1 call a day for the last 2 months from this business asking me if I want to trade my car in or come in and buy a new car. I have asked every time that they call to remove my phone# from there list and to no avail. If you purchase or even attempt to purchase a car from this business expect multiple calls and badgering for months.

Went in to look at a new car for the fam. Didn't end up buying, but I was shown a great experience and given the treatment I would hope for. Thank you Mr. Kurt F[redacted].

I had a great experience with Kurt ( manager) and Kristin the sales associate. They were both professional and non pushy which was a pleasant surprise. When I am ready I will be back to buy from those two!!

I went into Camelback Kia last week. My salesman was a young man Andre S[redacted]. I felt very comfortable with him as I am leery of salesman. He was upfront and honest. I will definitely refer friends and family to Camelback KIa and have them ask for this nice, honest young man Andre. I love my new KIa Soul.

I visited the Dealership early this month, worked with Salesman Andre S[redacted] and I had a very good experience.

Unfortunately, the customer resigned the contract without the Lease Ware on it, it was then submitted and purchased by the bank.  Because this is a lease this product cannot be added to a lease after funding.

I have taken the time to speak with Ms [redacted] today 8/16/2014 at 4:45 pm and after some discussion we have agreed to take the vehicle back, and return her full down payment of $1000, as she requested.   We...

will also be absoribing the depreciation of the vehicle and the additional mileage deduct on the vehicle, as  Ms [redacted] has benn driving  the vehicle since June 1st, at no cost to her. We would like to state for the record that we in no way forced Ms [redacted] to purchase this vehicle, she did this of her own free will.  At the time she purchased the vehicle she completed a credit application listing a specific employer and residence.  We needed to provide proof of these items to the bank, and when we requested them we were notified by Ms [redacted] that she no longer worked or lived where she stated on her application.  The bank has  also attempted to contact Ms [redacted] to complete a phone interview, but have been unsuccessful at contacting her.[redacted] Customer Relations ManagerUpdated Business Response:

Attached is the signed buyers order for [redacted]. We have repossessed the vehicle as of this afternoon, as the customer has verbally assaulted myself in front of witnesses here at the dealership. Also this customer states that the Revdex.com directed her not to return the vehicle to us.  She does not qualify for this vehicle because she does not work where she said she did, nor does she reside where she stated on her credit application.  The bank contacted her on several occasions, to obtain information needed to process her loan and she ignored their calls.  We would like this complaint to be removed/resolved, as this customer has not only assaulted me verbally, but she has used your good name to hold us hostage for a vehicle she tried to purchase with fraudulent information.

We will not be returning the customers down payment as we have found not only body damage to the vehicle, she also put 2500 miles on the vehicle.

Please contact me to let me know what we can do to resolve this complaint.

Customer Relations Manager

Dealership      ([redacted]

I found a car that looked like I would be happy with on the company website for $6,500 at 7am. I called Camelback Hyundai at 8am to verify the car was still available. The Bernie G[redacted] said yes and asked when I would like to see it. I told him I could be there before 9am. He said great, that he would get the car ready, and be waiting for me at 9am. When I arrived at 9am Bernie wasn't available because he was helping someone else. I said that was ok and that the new person could show me the car. The new person said the car that I wanted to see had just sold the night before. I explained to them that I had called less than an hour again and had been told the car was still available and it was being "prepared" for me to see. The response was, "well that person is new but let me show you something similar". The sales associate said that the car was $1,000 more than the one that I had originally come to look at, I agreed it was still in my price range. We went for a test drive and started going over the numbers. The price suddenly went from $8,000 to $12,500, over a 50% increase. I asked to see the paperwork and why the price had gone up so much but the sales associate refused to hand it to me. I asked to take the paperwork with me to go over the numbers with my significant other and the sales person refused. The sales manager then came out and asked what price could they do so I wouldn't have to communicate the purchase of a car with my significant other. I repeatedly told them that no matter the price I would need to talk it over with her. The manager then asked if I was even "allowed" to spend $50 a month without talking it over which seems like he was trying to insult me so I left. After that horrible experience the phone calls started for the next 2-3 weeks. 2 phone calls a day, which forced me to block the number, which were followed with texts and emails. I even received an email 8 days after the visit asking if I was still interested in the original car I had gone to look at that was supposedly sold the night before I got there.

This was a bait and switch with the original price starting at $6,500 to get me in there, the car not being available, then having them show me another for almost twice the price $12,500.

The one and a half I spent there was the worst car buying experience I have ever had.
