Revdex.com: I have reviewed the? response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Actually my loans went into default because? 1file.org? did not get a hold of meThe representative I talked to said I was emailed ONCE, not "repeatedly." When I asked her how many times did you try to contact me she said "once in February."I was charged every month as if they were doing their job and I got a call from the loan servicer stating I was in defaultIt passed the day late mark which is why they calledMy credit went down points because of itSo making payments to the company that "manages" my account caused me to go into defaultWhat was being managed exactly? Absolutely nothingMaybe you should have tried calling meOr emailing a SECOND time? That is terrible practiceThey are absolutely at fault for charging me without contacting me a SECOND attempt and not getting things straightened outThe money is nothing compared to the affect on my creditI will not conclude this as closed until my credit score is resolved and appropriately fixedI am in awe that the responder blatantly lied and stated that I stated I was contacted multiple times by phone and email, because that is not the caseI only found out about being in default because of a letter from fed student loan servicing, not by my so called manager. They managed nothingThey STOLE my money and cause a SIGNIFICANT drop in my creditIt is fraudulent to let them take money and not do a thingI am disgusted at how they allow kids to have their credit ruined and not try to fix the problem Regards, [redacted]

In all fairness to the client I want to respond to each and every one of her concerns as outlined in her complaint in the same order: "However, in the contract it says that if you want to opt out you can call, write, or send an emailYes towards the top of the contract it says there's a "cooling off" period, but further down the contract it says to opt outIn that portion of the contract it doesn't specify or indicate a length of time required, it just says to call, write, or send an emailI've sent two emails all ready stating that I do not wish to use your services anymore." RESPONSE: We have canceled the client at the time she called and canceled, she has been refunded all that she paid - "Another reason I am upset is that [redacted] shared my personal information with my sister [redacted] can only share limited information, and the only person whom they can share that with is my momYou guys on the other hand disclosed all my loan information to my sister, that could've been someone I don't even know." RESPONSE: We do not share any information as well as the Information we retrieve from the Department of Education and all of the Federal Student Loan Service's have security safeguards in place to assure this does not happen by security questions and passwords that only the ' PERSON" in question would be able to answer

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted]

Client has a debt of $42,and Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) he provided to us at the time of his initial quote was $64,We then pulled the records from the IRS only to discover client had not disclosed spouse’s income, which will result in a higher payment than qoutedClients combined AGI is $106, Clients payments were over $prior to enrolling with us, and we got approved for a payment of only $per month Client and Spouse were advised of status every step of the process and were made aware of the $payment The complaint from the client is that he was told his payments would be $?" which was a mistake that was quickly rectified and confirmed with spouse, Client admitted and confirmed that the payment issue was, in fact resolved ?" and both he and spouse were made fully aware On our end, the problem was solved, the client was happy with the gift of only a $paymentThat was on November 30, On December 8th, client called in to request a refund ?" for unknown reason Refund was denied because work we were contracted to do, was completed beyond expectations and full payment was not yet receivedIn good faith we agreed to waive any outstanding balance due When refund was not approved, client proceeded to Charge-back through his bank on December 21, Claiming the charge was fraud and he had no idea who charged his credit card, we then proceeded to prove otherwise and win the disputed charge Client was willfully and maliciously attempting to recover funds, which we earned for providing the agreed upon service

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [The statement given by 1file goes against my story entirelyI repeatedly asked about [redacted] loans specifically and was told that if it's here then it'll be consolidatedIt was never stated that the loans were not thereI am not going against the assistance I was given or denying the savings, however I firmly believe that I was tricked into signing up for something thinking that I would receive some asisistance with the [redacted] loan includedI specifically stated that repeatedly and that I couldn't afford paying the [redacted] LOAN on top of the monthly payment to 1fileMy complaint has nothing to do with the service because everything would have been stars, my issue lies with the way people get signed into the initial contractI expect 1file to abide by the agreement terms and return all funds to me immediately.] Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Problem: You guys were helping me already, my previous complaint # is [redacted] Due to the holidays I didn't have time to check my email, but I did today and I wasn't able to respond because I missed the day periodBut I want to reopen my complaintI do not want or need their services no moreIn their contract it says if I want to opt out I can call, write, or email themI've sent them emails already and I've contacted them through thisI prefer to stick with [redacted] ***, regardless if I accrue interest with [redacted] ***I feel more at ease and safer with them1file.org did not help meIf anything they made my account go negative $149.75.Desired Outcome: I do not wish to be contacted by them anymore and for them to correct my negative account of $I'm not paying them a dime when I already have my loans in defermentI shouldn't have to pay anything Regards, [redacted]

1file.org has helped me greatly with my student loanI am overwhelmed with their help in helping me reduce my student loanI am thankful they are able to help me when I need the financial help

[redacted] , the same servicer that never advised you since that you where eligible for $Income Based Repayment is now telling you to put loans in deferment with interest accruing monthly and the balance growing, as opposed to what we recommend which is remaining in the $dollar payment, no balance increase and the months in school count towards eventual forgiveness. This doesn't surprise me.!I'm glad or after research you can do this all on your own, I am glad that we have made you awareI would be a little more hesitant on trusting everything your loan servicer is advising, so in the end we helped

1File.org has major contract and customer service issuesMinutes after signing up for their services in Friday 6/17, attempted to call both the rep who signed me up and their customer service/processing dept back with a questionNot only could I not reach the rep who signed me up but the number he gave me to contact him with any questions or concerns continued to ring out to it being answered to dead air where I only heard him and other reps laughing and joking and the processing/customer service number continues to go straight to voicemailThen today I have been receiving text from that same repin regards to him trying to get back into my DOE account to move forward with the consolidation applicationI told him I sent an email to both [redacted] and [redacted] yesterday stating that I wish to cancel the process and terminate the agreement and that I needed for him to confirm that my card and account will no longer be charged as requestedHe then "texted" back

Client had her loans consolidated and payment reduced from $on April 16, to IBR $FEDLOAN approvedShe hired us for a result and we delivered better than promised

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the? response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below To show you how little this company knows about my caseThe price they say I'm now paying isn't correct, they're off by about dollarsThey do now have a clueSomeone really needs to look into their practices Regards, [redacted]

This company contacted me a few months ago stating I qualified for loan forgiveness of $40,000, which was a lie and the rest could be paid on a monthly planHowever, two months ago I found out that this company is just the middle man and actually set me up to make student loan payments with a company called [redacted] ***Onefile.org wants me to pay them $a month for the next years for setting me up with [redacted] ***They also charged me $for the first months which I found out did not go towards my student loansI had no clue about a $service fee or that they were setting me up with another company for my student loans [redacted] said one file org is a scam and prey on college students who are unaware of their deceitful intentThey are now threatening me with reporting me to collections and wage garnishment for their service fees which seems illegal

Hello,I am writing to let you know that I have received a response from? 1file.org? and there is no need to continue to contact themThe situation has been remediedThank you for your assistance.? [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI was actually not eligible for the consolidation of my loans into the program until this August, so when file reported that I have been eligible for a long time, that is incorrectThey have not saved me any money, but on the contrary, cost me $1,If they were to have disclosed to me that I could have enrolled in the same consolidation program by myself, then I wouldn't have gave them $1, They did not disclose all information in regards to the consolidation when I signed upI believe that I was taken advantage of due to not knowing the specifics of the consolidation and the sales representative not informing me of all the information that he knew about the programI do not agree that it should cost $1,to consolidate student loans, as I did a consolidation of my other student loans by myself with no issues Regards, [redacted]

We are very sorry Ms [redacted] has such negative feelings and opinions regarding our company and the service we provided for herWe have no problem fulfilling Ms [redacted] 's desired settlement of having her contract terminatedWe will take care of that asap.? But as far as her allegations of "being scammed", this is simply untrue and disparaging of our companyWe were simply following up on her extremely delinquent account with usWe did an excellent job of completing the work she contracted us to do, and also lowered her payments drastically, to help her financially due to her low incomeWe complete the initial work, and then we are required to recertify all programs each and every yearThis is what the $goes towardsThe reason why she was refunded payments of $in the beginning, was because our contract states that the $payments will only begin once we receive confirmation of approval from her loan servicerIn her case, we had not yet received it - which was an oversight, but we corrected it right away by refunding those payments to herOnce we received the approval, we resumed charging the $as stated in the contract she signed with usWhich by the way, she has never paidAll payments were declined, and is in violation of the contract she signed with us.? As far as Ms [redacted] returning to schoolHow in the world were we supposed to know that? We are not magicians, and Her re-certification isn't? due until July of this year.? At which point, we would learn that she had returned to school after submitting the new paperworkShe never once, reached out to inform us of these changes, nor did she answer any other requests regarding payments dueAnd now she is upset because we, as a business, are contacting her about the money she owes us..? We have done nothing wrong and It's a shame that after everything we did to help her, she turns around and callously writes this reviewToo bad there isn't a Better Business Client, where businesses can share their experiences with clients and how WE are "scammed".? We wish Ms [redacted] all the best.?

Client signed a simple English agreement which clearly states our relationship and clearly states you can do this on your own, Much like filing your taxes., and in the same way if you call the IRS and ask if they have heard of my Accountant the answer will be NOGREAT LAKES, failed to tell client he was eligible for years, only after we delivered the approval did GREAT LAKES now explain the optionsYou don't have to believe a word I say to search GREAT LAKES on the internet and find the same complaints. We exist because government contractors like GREAT LAKES are not advising the millions of borrowers of their options, The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Report confirms bad practice among all Government contracted servicers. The emails from FSA are from FSA we do not spoof any email headersNature of Service; No Legal or Tax Advice1FILE.ORG is a private company not affiliated with any government agencyClient acknowledges that the programs that Clients is seeking are available without cost to ClientClients has retained 1FILE.ORG to perform work and processes that the Client could have chosen to do themselvesThe Client acknowledges that 1FILE.ORG is not a law firm, and that no legal or tax advice can or will be provided under this agreementClient acknowledges and agrees that the Services do not consist of any renegotiation, restructure, reduction or other adjustment of the terms of any existing loan or debt.- WE ALSO RECORD THIS IN A QUALITY CONTROL RECORDING WITH THE CLIENT AND A THIRD PARTY VERIFICATION CENTER

21,in Federal Student Debt with [redacted] the client was paying $in a standard programAfter we completed consolidation and IBR application, Client is consolidated and in an Income based repayment of $0, The payment he is looking at from [redacted] paperwork sent in the mail is what the payment would be without the help of us putting him in an Income Based Repayment, It is common for client to misunderstand the paperwork sent in the mail from the servicer
