Client [redacted] enrolled with us on February 19, We immediately requested a Forbearance to alleviate some financial burden for the customer, while the application for a new repayment plan is being processedWe submitted an Application on 3/2/16, on his behalf through the Department of Education, who in turn sends directly to Loan Servicing Company - [redacted] [redacted] approved the application for a new repayment plan - saving customer $per monthClient's new payment is $(See attached May bill reflecting new payment amt of $83.18)Prior to enrolling with us and contracting us to help him, customer was paying $for his Federal Student Debt of $24,We have completed all work we were contracted to do, and saving the client half of what he was originally paying as agreed to from initial contactTherefore, we feel No Refund is in orderWe have all documentation to support our work

Client agrees we completed the service contracted yet insisted a partial refund as a resolutionOur contract is simple and easy to understand...The program this client is in requires a yearly vetting process which we do year in and year out for a small monthly fee which clients in a zero payment are happy to payIf this yearly action is not taken or filed improperly the client goes back to their previous much higher paymentThere are many other benefits to 1file.org managing your loan repayments.Much like Tax preparation, you can do it yourself or hire a professional.Bottom line is we delivered as agreed

I did not authorize the company 1file.org to debit my account for on Feb 8th but they did on their ownThe agreement was that I would contact 1file.org and let them know what my finances were if the payment could be done on the 8thI did not call them because I applied for the service they do myself for freeSo I felt all was well and I didn't need to call or cancel anything because I no longer needed themIn the midst of trying to call them and contact the proper persons was virtually impossibleI kept getting voice-mail and or no answerFinally on the 9th of Feb I got in contact [redacted] who was helpful and [redacted] in processing and she said they would try to resolve this and she was sending a cancellation form to the billing department for the stop paymentBut two minutes later the representative [redacted] called and told me that "I was not getting a refund and he didn't care about my money and they were not cancelling anything we set up, and oh well"I thought

Over the past 2-weeks, I've been receiving incessant phone calls from this companyWhen I finally answered, the man tried to talk to me about their student loan debt forgivenessI firmly told him I was not interested and asked him to please take me off their call listThe next day, I received another callI once again asked to be taken off their call list and made it abundantly clear that I was not happy with the phone calls I had been receivingIt's been about one week since that last phone call, and today I received EIGHT phone calls from them! I finally answered, asked for the business's information right off the bat (their name and website), and then the guy tried to go into his spielI told him I was already very upset with their constant phone calls and that I've already asked twice to be taken off their call listI was just about to say to him that I was going to report their company to the Revdex.com and the National No Call Registry when he hung up the phone on meI'm hoping that that will be the last time they try to callI've never been so hounded by a telemarketing company in my life! I will never consider them for any kind of debt consolidation

I have been working with Alex Tfor years now and would highly recommend anyone to himHe is very clear on how the program works and quickly to respond when I have questionsLast year he made special effort to make sure I was getting the best rate that I could affordMy husband and I were just about to welcome our second child so he saved us a lotI really appreciate everything 1file.org has done for me, having two little ones in daycare and trying to pay on student loans is rough! Being on this IDR program has helped my family a lotThanks for everything you do Alex!

They lie to get you to signThey claim that you’ll pay months and the rest of your loan will be forgivenThat’s a lieThat’s their fee for monthsIt’s a waste of moneyThey keep it all and meanwhile your loans will increase from interest but no payment will be made on themI’m just glad I caught it before I gave them to much moneyThen when you call them on their lies they refuse to refund youComplete scam!!!!

[Other consumers need to be aware of the questionable way in which this company does businessThey were rude, aggressive and obnoxious and did not diligently attempt to cancel service until I threatened to post complaint with Revdex.comSomeone who may not know how to handle things with a company such as this may get suckered into being charged fees even after they want to cancelAlso, it was not late Friday afternoon or evening that I attempted to call them back as this business tried to claim I tried to call my rep back with another question that came to mind just 3-mins after getting off the phone with him during the 4pm hour(your business lists its hours of operations as 7a-7pm BTW...hmmm?) only to have the phone continue to repeatedly be answered to dead space with reps laughing and joking in the backgroundThen each time I tried to call the "customer service" number at *** whether its early in the morning, afternoon or evening "no reps are available"I even tried calling it again right before typing this just to see and go figure...no reps are availableTrying to turn each complaint into the "customers fault" or a "misunderstanding" is not going to work and that is why your response is unsatisfactoryEnough "misunderstandings" and the public will begin to see that your practices are simply shady

This company practices fraudulent servicesThey attempted to contact me one time to update my file and when I did not respond they continued to take a "servicing fee" while doing absolutely nothing other than harming my creditI was notified by a separate company that my student loans were in default instead of the company I paid to manage my loansThey continued to charge me while my loans were in default and did not even callThey put their email address in my file with the federal loan department so they couldn't even contact meBecause I was still being charged I assumed they were keeping my account up to dateI was mislead and charged a monthly fee for nothing
It has done nothing but hurt my credit scoreI am so upset with this companyI cannot believe they get away with this type of businessIt is unbelievableI am literally sick to my stomach

PLEASE read and learn from others !!

I reluctantly signed up with 1FILE because they stated they could help me pay off my student loans by filing the correct papers so that I can get a better deal on my loan payments (espicially since I was a military service member)I'm not sure when I started with them but it's been over years nowThey have been taking about $monthly from me and when I asked them what the money is gong towards, I don't get a clear answer!
I have been working with FED LOAN and HESSA to pay off my student loansI also send my income tax yearly to apply for the income based replayment planWhat exactly is 1FILE doing for me? My credit card (I used for them) ended up getting misplaced so I had to get a new credit cardNow, they are sending me harrassing emails saying they will report me because the payments won't go throughAgain, I asked them what service they are providing me (before paying them) but they still won't give me a clear answer

This company calls you makes them give you all your personal information They have real poor communication skills, management chews candy in your ear and refuses to work with you They are very dishonest, They lack customer service skills They don't even help you with your student loans like they call and promise They say you qualifya month goes by something is going onI had to find out by realizing they didn't negotiate anything with my previous student loan carrier as promised I had to call them and they acted like it was no big deal In the mean time they collected and held my money I was late on my current student loan and interest occurred on my student loan A far cry from helping meMaking life worse
