I called and spoke with *** about consolidation of my student loansHe seem very helpful until I call to opt out of the serviceWhen I was told I could use my original loan company for no money I chose to cancel my services with 1file.orgThe representative who answered told me I would be able to get a refundAfter I request a cancellation *** called me and started talking really ugly about how the other company knew I wasn't going to continue with them and that's why they decided to contact meI told him that wasn't trueHe told me he never known for them to do that before I just kept the conversation short because he was starting to get a attitudeHe told me I still had to pay for what they did and I tried explaining nobody had notified me about any services performedHe then went on to say that someone in billing was beside him and they told him I wouldn't get my money back I felt like they was very unprofessional after I told him I wasn't interested anymoreAt the end of the day it's my choice

I cancelled service with them over six months agoThey keep trying to take money out of my account every month and then call saying my payment failedI call them back every time and tell them to leave me alone and that they do NOT have my permission to withdrawal funds from my accountI have spoken to three supposed supervisors and got another call again todayI don't know how many times you have to cancel service with a company, but then try I mg to take money out of my account when I have quit service and told them no is WRONG

Our initial position has not changed and we feel it already addressed the remaining issues.

I contacted the companythis morning after having signed my contract the previous day, and I found myself feeling a little apprehensive over it, so I read through the contract and realized that I had three days to opt out of itWhen contacted them to let them know that I wanted to cancel the plan, atleast long enough to take time to really consider the month obligation that I was getting myself into, they were not understanding and tried to pressure me into keeping the contract, they also texted my phone after having "terminated" the contract to let me know how much debit I was in from student loans and how much id be paying in interest if I didnt use their companyI found it extremely unprofessionalI also found out that my loan provider offers a similar program that doesnt cost me $10,(240/ish monthly payments @ $& a one time fee of $800) talk to your loan provider before you follow through with this company they are taking advantage of peoples ignorance

The client states, "I am currently on the income based repayment plan of $0" which we did for him, as contractedOur phone number for enrolled clients is *** which is on all of our correspondenceWe would be glad to help with re-certification , which is needed yearly, However, the client wishes CANCEL so we cannot work on his behalf

I am being charged $every month from this company and I do not receive any services from this companyI’m am just losing $every month for no reason

I was contacted by 1File on 3/31/to see if they could lower my student loan and to see if I qualify for loan forgivenessI was told that I would have to make two student loan payments of around $and that once the payments were made they could process my loan application and my payments would be $per month with $as part of the student loan payment being there fee until my loan was paid offSo my understanding was that my loan payment would be $to the student loan and $to 1FileI asked several times if that was the case and they said yesSo I sign the agreement and give them payments of $as my student loan payment and they start the "process" of my loan applicationThe last I heard from them was on 4/for credit card authorization for 4/23/and 5/26/After 4/23/I was not emailed a status until 7/28/when they told me to sign in to my student loan account and make a paymentI was never notified that my account was changed or what th

They took over $from me and my loans are worse off then they ever wereI've called them dozens of times but not one picks up the phone

There is nothing deceptive about what we did for this client, we do not pretend to be a federal agency in fact the reason you need us is because we are not, this particular client servicer could have helped him years ago but didn't find it profitableSo we reached out and contacted him put him in a
better position, with his existing servicerThe same servicer that never reached out and helped himYes we charged a fee to put him in the program he deserves.All of this is disclosed and recorded in a phone call,in a quality control questionnaire which this client completed. It covers our relationship, payments , payment amounts and where they go.Everything we did for this client bettered his situation and never was he in danger of default from our doing.After we completed all the necessary work agreed in writing, the client then charged back the money he paid with his credit card and we won it back by proving the work and results we achieved for this client, thus returning the money earned.After not being able to get the benefit of our effort and the money back he then made these allegations

This company is a scam They represent themselves as a non-profit using .org in their website but they are a for-profit company They claim to be associated with the Department of Education - they are not It is a travesty that they have a Revdex.com rating of A- The CFPB should shut them down
Student loan borrowers can do this on their own and if they can't do it by themselves there are really for profits who don't charge monthly fees for months to help them enroll in the income driven repayment plans

Education, who in turn sends directly to Loan Servicing Company - *** *** *** *** *** approved the application for a new repayment plan - saving customer $per monthClient's new payment is $(See attached May bill reflecting new payment amt of $83.18)Prior to enrolling with us and contracting us to help him, customer was paying $for his Federal Student Debt of $24,566.00. We have completed all work we were contracted to do, and saving the client half of what he was originally paying as agreed to from initial contactTherefore, we feel No Refund is in orderWe have all documentation to support our work.

1File.org has major contract and customer service issuesMinutes after signing up for their services in Friday 6/17, attempted to call both the rep who signed me up and their customer service/processing dept back with a questionNot only could I not reach the rep who signed me up but the number he gave me to contact him with any questions or concerns continued to ring out to it being answered to dead air where I only heard him and other reps laughing and joking and the processing/customer service number continues to go straight to voicemailThen today I have been receiving text from that same repin regards to him trying to get back into my DOE account to move forward with the consolidation applicationI told him I sent an email to both *** and *** yesterday stating that I wish to cancel the process and terminate the agreement and that I needed for him to confirm that my card and account will no longer be charged as requestedHe then "texted" back

This company was paid in FULL alreadySo the stating they will not pursue any further charges makes no sense the dollars I have already paid this company was to help with filing papers for the NEXT yearsSo now the company can just keep my money and do nothing which is how this company seems to work from the words of the student loans serverThis company is a SCAM if you pay for a service for TEN years and they take your money up front and then won't answer your questions and finish anything you are told they will finish those are are LIE"S and misleading customerThis is sad that this company preys on people just trying to pay off their student loans after all those years of schoolThis company states they did what they were supposed to NO they didn't I stated they started the process and did NOT FINISH anythingthis company is attempting to play on words and since they don't answer my calls I had to go through the only means other than court a consumer can to settle why a company did not deliver on what they stated they were hired to do I will not be leaving this alone now That I see company has no intention of full feeling ANY DUTIES that they were paid for for TEN YEARS seriouslyThis is a disgrace that a business can do this to a customera single mother of does not just have dollars to give to some company with no return.
