I was contacted by File.org to consolidate &/or forgive my student loan *** explained to me that they would NOT take any funds out of my account until the entire process was completed Plus they would do ALL the process necessary to contact my previous student loan lender (Nelnet) Well, on April 18th, 2017, File.org withdrew $from my checking and still the process was NOT finished!
I proceeded to try to contact *** They informed me that the account was in th processing department I asked them to have them contact me- they NEVER DID!!!
On February 27th, 2017, I received an e-mail stating that the process was completedHowever, they kept calling me stating that the processing department needed my income taxes I e-mailed Ms*** *** ( the one in charge of my account) She never answered ANY of my concerns All she would e-mail me is that they needed the taxes for or my two last pay stubs

The end of May I tried to consolidate my Federal Student LoansI was contact by a person claiming to be with the company consolidating my loans-I was very hesitant to speak to him but he had all of my personal information, loan amounts, etcso I assumed that was legitimately who he wasWe went through paperwork and he had me process a online contract and give him my credit card number for payments of $to get my consolidation to go through
On June 3, I received a letter from *** ***I did not know what it was for so when I final opened it on 6-17-and saw that they had processed my consolidation I panicked knowing *** *** was not who I originally spoke withI called the number I was given for the man I spoke with to "process my application" *** *** *** and the number says all reps are busy and hangs up not allowing you to even leave a voicemail
My next call was to *** *** and they took a fraud report of the company who called

I did not authorize the company 1file.org to debit my account for on Feb 8th but they did on their ownThe agreement was that I would contact 1file.org and let them know what my finances were if the payment could be done on the 8thI did not call them because I applied for the service they do myself for freeSo I felt all was well and I didn't need to call or cancel anything because I no longer needed themIn the midst of trying to call them and contact the proper persons was virtually impossibleI kept getting voice-mail and or no answerFinally on the 9th of Feb I got in contact *** who was helpful and *** in processing and she said they would try to resolve this and she was sending a cancellation form to the billing department for the stop paymentBut two minutes later the representative *** *** called and told me that "I was not getting a refund and he didn't care about my money and they were not cancelling anything we set up, and oh well"I thought

Back in February I was contacted by 1file.org who offered to help me by consolidating my loans and decrease my loan paymentson May 27th I contacted them because I was contacted by FASFA and they took their monthly payment of dollars because they have reduced my loans after revising my yearly incomeToday I contacted 1file.org again and I spoke to a Lady name *** *** who confused me with her explanations and never gave me any proof that my loans have been consolidatedI was suppose to make three payments of per month and due to my finance I missed half of the final payment and that is when I realized this was going on

I currently have a gov loan with fed loan servicing and I send my income tax every year to apply for income based repayment planAt the beginning of the year I got a call from the business 1file.org telling my I could apply for a lian forgivess program that I was not making any payments and I had not applied for a forgiveness program yetI told them I was told I was already in the program and I qualified for $monthly paymentsThe guy told me that if I did not make any payments my interest will still go up and I had to pay everything anywaysHe never told me from what company he was calling me, I thought it was fedloansHe told me I will make $payments for months to get into the programI gave him a credit card number but I was not convinced to pay those $so I hanged up and did not finish the processThey kept on calling me and I never answerAt this point they have been calling meI just noticed that they have been charging me $from my credit cardI no longer u

How is it fraudulent, when the client admits we've been trying to get a hold of him repeatedly and he admits he did not respond? Client has been receiving our emails phone calls yet would not respond and then he wonders why his account did not get taken care of correctly. The only thing that
didn't get taken care of is he wasn't recertified for the following year which keeps his payments high ,no damage happened to his credit

This Company is now calling me and screaming and threatening me about further payment they attempted to collect out of my bank account DESPITE I HAD TO DO THE WORK THIS COMPANY WAS PAID TO DOAlso despite on this Revdex.com website they responded stating they would not be collecting any further payments from my bank account and I would dropped as a customerJust today 12/12/SATURDAY I'm receiving these very rude calls and insufficient fund calls stating I owe them stillThis has now become harassment, I thought I could handle this myself but I clearly will need assistance legally if this continues. Several months ago I contacted the federal student loan company and requested a information on loan forgivenessThe next day I receive a call from a company called 1file.orgThey had all my personal information pertaining to this loanI was told it was just a third party company that handled all loan forgiveness programs for the federal government and they source out the loans, because they are overwhelmed with school loansAll things discussed seemed legitI made my first payment of $and paid the $monthly processing fee until my loan had been approvedIn the mean time I get a call from my loan servicer through the federal government stating that my loan was in default and that they had not received nor been contacted by any loan forgiveness companyI submitted all paperwork to federal student loan agency and they told me that I needed to contact the company, request a refund and find out what was going onI filled out the appropriate paperwork with my loan servicer and the loan forgiveness plan and reduced payment was processed for me and I was able to make the monthly payment and proceed to bring my account back current
As for ifile.org I have attempted to contact them every day since I was contacted by the federal student loan servicer that I pay my loans to and I only get a voicemailI am not sure what I am supposed to do with thisI just want my money back or it to be applied to my student loan and I want out of this contractI do not feel comfortable doing business with a company that I can't get a hold of or that has not paid any money towards my balanceIf this helps anyone, please contact the federal government and do settle for anything lessIts not worth it

1File.org aka EDUNET engages in deceptive practices acting as agents of the US Department of Education claiming that they would take over student loan accounts from lending institutions provide lower payment rates for a DOE loan forgiveness program whereby after paying a "membership fee" of $ and a monthly fee of $plus $per month for years and the balance of the loan is forgiven, After contacting the lender, the loan has not been transferred and the money charged on credit cards by EDUNET goes to 1file.org and not paying off the student loan (principle or interest), this could potentially lead to default with the lenderThey also collect personal information to include bank information and SSNI cancelled my loan repayment program with 1file.orgMultiple requests for a refund of $has been refused
