DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIS COMPANY!!! They are abusive in every way possibleI would receive upwards of calls a day from this companyThey even went as far as trying to hack into my FSA account!! They tried to reset my password multiple times WITHOUT MY PERMISSIONWhen I confronted them they said they just needed the reset code so they could access my account WITHOUT MY PERMISSIONI am furious! I told them I have already had my loans forgiven and they still persistently called They said that they are with the US Department of Education and they need to access my account to forgive my loansSo I called the FSA hotline and reported this company and they said that they never call studentsAll correspondence is either through email or US Mail I had to disable my FSA account because of the private information that is stored thereI don't know what this company has done with my informationThey had access for 10-mins until I disabled my account I asked them if they had fees for their services and they said no, but if you read the other reviews here then you can see that they do have feesStay away!

This company practices fraudulent servicesThey attempted to contact me one time to update my file and when I did not respond they continued to take a "servicing fee" while doing absolutely nothing other than harming my creditI was notified by a separate company that my student loans were in default instead of the company I paid to manage my loansThey continued to charge me while my loans were in default and did not even callThey put their email address in my file with the federal loan department so they couldn't even contact meBecause I was still being charged I assumed they were keeping my account up to dateI was mislead and charged a monthly fee for nothing It has done nothing but hurt my credit scoreI am so upset with this companyI cannot believe they get away with this type of businessIt is unbelievableI am literally sick to my stomach

The clients payment was VOIDED on the day the client changed dates.AccountingSep 14, 2015, 4:pm [redacted] Merchant: [redacted] ***Date/Time: 09/14/4:33:PM PDTTransaction ID: [redacted] Transaction Type: Card VoidEntry Method: KeyedAmount: 199.67Refund Process:One of the key reasons that a credit card refund takes as long as it does is the number of steps involved in the refund processWhen you initiate a refund, as when you return merchandise to a store, the seller requests a refund by beginning a new transaction request on the credit card networkThe card company must receive this information, check it against your purchase history, confirm the merchant's request, clear the refund with its bank and transfer the credit to your accountThe credit card's billing department must then issue a statement that shows the refund as a credit, which serves as the final step in the processEach step is an opportunity for delays due to human or computer error, or due to waiting for a billing cycle to elapse.Timeline:Credit card refunds can take anywhere from two to days before they are completeThe first to hours of this period involve the initial refund with the credit card companyBut credit card companies use major banks to supply the funds they lend to cardholders to make purchases, which means that the credit card's policies as well as the bank's policies can delay the refund

Mr [redacted] was a bit too [redacted] in writing this complaint, to hastily attempt to damage our reputation, because he had already been issued to refund for the payments of $that he made to usI personally, emailed him the refund confirmations for each transaction, and also informed him by email and text that we had refunded the moneyHe is correct - we were NOT able to help him because of his situation with his Wife's loansWe are not in the business of taking money from people who we cannot help

This complaint was directed to the wrong company [redacted] is not a client of oursI completed a thorough search in our system, and we have zero information in our database of this personHe should double check the name of the company who processed his payment, because it was not us.?

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] 1File.org uses and Internet address (.org) typically used for non-profit organizations, schools, and open source projects – it turns out that they are a for profit third-party business entityWhen they contacted me by phone, they had all my personal information to include loans, dollar amounts, loan status, school information, academic status, department of education files numbers, and lender informationThey said that they would be able to “assume the loan” (take over the loan) from my lending institution as part of a Department of Education loan forgiveness programWhen asked should I contact my lender the response was “no” that the paperwork would be submitted and the transfer was an automatic processThey have all of my personal information to include birthday, SSN, banking account information, school information, financial information, tax information, and student loan informationCoincidentally, yesterday, September 29, someone tried to set up a fraudulent internet banking account in my name and attempted a Western Union money transfer of funds from my accounts – apparently those involved had all of my personal and banking information I was contacted multiple times by 1File.org both by people and recorded messages to sign up for Department of Education student loan debt relief and forgiveness programs even after I had signed up with 1File.orgEach time I spoke to a person, they offered “better rates” and the last offer said that all I would need to do is pay the $then $per month for years (months) and the loan balance would be forgivenDoing the math + 39x= $12,After consulting with my student loan provider (Great Lakes https://www.mygreatlakes.org/educate ), I could qualify for the income-based loan forgiveness program with no cost or processing fees; additionally, NONE of the fees collected by 1File.org would be applied to either the loan principle or interest as was mentionedAll the money is going directly to 1File.org (aka EDUNET)According to Webster’s dictionary – Default: “A failure to pay financial debt.” If the principle or interest of a loan is not paid for years, this meets the definition of defaultIf a person is standing at the edge of a cliff, one need not take a step to know what the end result will be After having contacted my loan lender, the Department of Education (DOE), and discussed the loan information and repayment status and available plansIt was here that I was made aware of third-party companies misleading individuals that they represent the DOE regarding student loan consolidations and repaymentsand examining Revdex.com (Revdex.com) reviews on 1File.org, there were similar patterns of deceptive practices that I had experiencedAfter conducting this research and speaking with my loan provider confirming that the loans had not been taken over and that they had never heard of 1File.orgI also spoke with my bank regarding payments made to “EDUNET.” Examples are emails received during my student loan forgiveness processingThe emails appear to be an official request from the office of student aid, US Department of EducationApparently, 1File.org was able to access and change my DOE student loan passwords, which adds to the impression that they are connected with the Department of EducationFSA ID Information To [redacted] Apr at 2:PM Dear [redacted] , To reset your password, enter the following secure code into the Secure Code field on your Web xxxxxx Once you have entered the secure code you can change your passwordIf you have any questions or need help, visit https://fsaid.ed.gov and select Help for more details Thank you, U.SDepartment of Education Federal Student Aid This mailbox is unattendedPlease do not reply to this message FSA ID Information To [redacted] Apr at 2:PM Dear [redacted] , —Why We Are Contacting You— This e-mail is to alert you that your FSA ID password was recently changed—What You Need To Do— If you made the change, you can ignore this e-mailIf you did not make the change, you need to contact customer support at 1-800-433-If you have any questions or need help, visit https://fsaid.ed.gov and select Help for more detailsThank you, U.SDepartment of Education Federal Student Aid This mailbox is unattendedPlease do not reply to this message Finally, if details and conversations are recorded, then 1File.org is aware of their practices

Prior to speaking with our company this client had a payment of over $300, we made her aware of a government program she is eligibleWe contracted a fee to file paperwork for her to get enrolled in the government program, which she could have done on her own years ago, she did notAfter completing the work and getting her approved she then complained about being able to do it on her ownShe completed a Quality control verification call prior to enrollment which discloses all the details of the program and where each dollar she pays is going, and she chose to enroll and have us do the work for a fee

I spoke with a representative a few weeks ago about canceling this account due to fraudulent statements and was abruptly hung up onI truly hope the lines are all recorded Originally, I reached out to 1file and spoke with ***- who quite honestly has been nothing but helpful however it seems it's only to get people to sign up for this programWhen I called, I specifically inquired about my [redacted] loan and help with this specificallyI was asked what kind of loan is it and I said "I wasn't sure" [redacted] pulled up all of my information and said I see "your loans" here for "$3x,xxx" let's get this set up and explained everythingI was over joyed to have everything being taken care of that I specifically asked about and he said absolutely I see your loans hereWord for word that is what he kept sayingSo I signed up no problemLow and behold when I receive my consolidation letter, my [redacted] loan is not included because I find out that it is considered a private loan even if it
