Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meHowever, I take extreme exception to the fact that I had been informed about other options available upon purchase of the vehicle regarding taking possession I was never given the second or third option Moreover, if I had of been given those options, I WOULD NOT have purchased the vehicle from this dealership So while it might be their practice to indicate that information to customers, nothing occurred in this transaction for this vehicle The dealership has been given a copy of the towing receipts by fax on 9/2/ One receipt was for the tow to the towing company and since I did not have legal plates on the vehicle, the towing company would not allow me to drive the vehicle off of their lot and therefore, it had to be towed and stored at another location, that is the second receipt, totaling $ John was informed about the FULL cost of the tow and agreed to refund that amount
Sincerely,
*** ***

I have reviewed the complaint filed by Ms*** I have also reviewed the sales file and have spoken with Tyler and KamAfter doing so, I confirmed that Ms*** placed a $non-refundable deposit on a *** CivicThe non-refundable terms were explained to Ms*** and she
acknowledged this agreement specifically by initialing the Purchase Order next to the statement: NO REFUND OF DEPOSITOnce we take a non-refundable deposit from a customer, many departments are put into action to arrange financing and to prepare the vehicle for delivery and the most importantly the vehicle is made unavailable to other customers who inquire about purchasing it.
Our finance department worked with Ms*** in order to get her financed in the vehicle that she choseThe bank that approved Ms*** required verification of certain items stated on her credit application specifically, proof of income and proof of insuranceCustomers with Adult Learners Permits are able to obtain vehicle insurance.
The $will be held on account for Ms***She can use this at anytime as a deposit towards a vehicle if she decides to purchase a vehicle from usPlease contact Jennifer in the office if you would like to arrange a time to come look at a vehicle

Purchased a used car (as is) from A Better Way Wholesale Auto in *** *** I co-signed for my daughter, $10K later I regretfully signed my life away for a *** *** that has not been operational since the day we bought it home The next day it was at the house it was leaking fluids A couple of weeks later it started to cut the speed by 1/2, making it extremely dangerous to drive on the highwayShe dropped the car off at the *** dealership in *** ** and they told her the issue is an electrical problem and the car should not have been sold as it is a safety issue! They quoted her $and took care of a recall with the ignition The extended warranty did not cover the parts, she called Kyle (sales rep) at A Better Way and he told her she should just bring it back to them to fix as they have a better relationship with the extended warrantyShe did that, they quoted her $which she ok'd Later they called her and told her the total repairs will cost her $

Awful experience I'm convinced they sold me a car with a bad catalic converter which is from what I heard a part that never goes bad and if I does maybe once in a lifetimeMy car doesn't even have 100,miles on it and I'm now putting its third catalic converterNot even two months into purchasing the car we had to get it replaced and they did a bad job welding so I had to take it else where A little over a year later I'm paying 1000$ to have another one put it but we purchased a 3000$ extended warranty that I was told covers pretty much everything except break pads? But they failed to mention the catalic converter wasn't covered eitherI'm convinced they sold us the car with a bad one and dodnt tell usBecause what are the chances of a part that very rarely goes bad goes bad not even two months after purchaseI will never but a recap from here againAnd I believe they should have to reimburse us for the 1000$ we have to pay because they put in a *** aftermarket part

I have reviewed the complaint and service file for Ms***Ms*** took delivery of a *** *** with 98,as mileageMs*** also purchased an extended warranty to protect her purchaseSeals and gaskets are the only item that is covered up until 100,milesAll other items
covered are for months or 36,milesIf the coverage is not use full, Ms*** could always cancel the warranty and receive the prorated amount back as a refund from the warranty companyI also spoke with *** our service manager*** stated that he spoke directly with Ms*** and tried to help herMs***'s schedule was very limited due to work and kids, and would only be available to come in on Saturday's*** was able to get Ms*** in that Saturday but also let her know that if any parts were needed her vehicle would have to wait till Monday as many of the parts suppliers are not open all day on SaturdayIf Ms*** would like to cancel her warranty please let us knowIf Ms*** would like us to help with the repairs she would just need to get the vehicle to usPlease let us know how you would like us to assist

I cancelled a warranty back in December 2016, have been in contact with the business since June trying to get my remaining balance from what I paid for in the warrantyThey have continuously told me ill be getting the check in the mail and then when I call to look into it there was a new thing I needed to do, but they never tried contacting me to tell me I had to give extra forms, the lien holder I had with the car has also been in contact with a better way wholesale for the past two months and they have been telling her they sent the check in the mailI should've gotten the check in the mail months ago or at least have been contacted in someway, I should not be babysitting this business

You first stated that you were overcharged for items and that no one would help youI have provided the documents that both you and your cosigned signed off onWe do not have a Dave that works hereYou did however sit with Scott in Finance who went over all documents thoroughly with youThe program is not a scam and we have many satisfied customers who use the programIf you are now deciding after the fact that you choose not to participate in the program I will cancel the oil change programYou will receive paperwork from A Better Way in the mail that has forms that need to be signed by both *** *** *** *** and notarizedOnce the forms are signed and notarized please mail them back to ABW attn: JenniferOnce they are received and we verify that no oil changes have occurred the funds will be returned to the bank

I have reviewed the complaint filed by Mr***I have also reviewed the sales and service filesMr*** did purchase a *** ** on October 12, with a warrantyThe day warranty was issued as a courtesy to the customer, typically a vehicle would have no dealer warrantyMr
*** did not bring his vehicle in during the warranty period or any time after itIf Mr*** feels the service contract is not worth keeping, he may cancel the contractIf you would like to cancel the service contract please let me know and I can have a form mailed out to you

I brought a car from this dealer that within minutes of taking home a realized the car was not driving properly, I have since brought the car back to their service department times for the same problem, each time they have kept the car for at least a week or more without giving a loaner car and the issue was not taken care of The 4th time I brought the car back, I gave them a written diagnosis that I went and paid the *** dealer for, they ignored the diagnosis and fixed other things, after a week I was told they misdiagnosed the car and the *** diagnosis was correct and the needed to keep the car for another week just to fix the issue that was the timing belt, the week has passed, today will be the beginning of the 3rd since they have had the car and I've heard nothing!!!!

The work that was preformed was based on what *** had requested doneWhich was based on the quote that she received from the *** dealershipIf she had requested that we diagnose the vehicle we would have done that for her, however there would be a diagnosis fee*** opted to continue with
the *** quote and have us do the repairs because we were offering her a discounted priceAgain if she had issues with the repairs that were made by our service department that she had already paid for, she would not be charged again. The vehicle that was purchased by *** was not unsafe, it was driven for over a month and almost 2,miles before we heard of any issuesNobody forced *** to go to the *** dealershipAnd again as stated above, we made the repairs based on the quote that *** first received from themWe would be unaware if the vehicle was not diagnosed properly and again we were not to diagnose the vehicle, just make the repairs quotedThe DMV closed the case because the car was sold and did not qualify for the CT Used car WarrantyWhile we performed our service work based on the information brought to us, in an offer to rectify the situation we will make one a one time offer to refund half of the amount charged for the repair, which would be $

I have reviewed the complaint filed my Ms***I have also reviewed the sales documents for her transactionI can not speak for what other dealerships have told Ms***I was able to pull the vehicle history with no issuesThe vehicle was originally from *** and resold in the **
back in At that time a new title was issued by the *** Department of Motor Vehicle After speaking with the sales staff and sales managers I found out that Ms*** did in fact speak with one of our sales associates, *** informed me that Ms*** told him about the issue and assured her that we would absolutely take the vehicle in on tradeMs*** refused and said she would be contacting her attorneyIf Ms*** would like to trade the vehicle in to us we would be more than glad to acceptPlease contact *** in the office

If the $1,was reimburse back then I have no longer any business with themThank You. They are liars.

I am in the market for a new vehicle and decided to go to A Better Way to test drive three different used cars After test driving the second one, the sales representative basically told me to put down a $1,deposit or leave because he didn't think I was serious buyer He told me that I was wasting his time, meanwhile I drove over an hour to get to the dealership The sales room is packed full of desks and does not seem like a professional atmosphere The sales person gave me his cell phone number by taking someone else's business card and crossing out that person's information and adding his All of the car prices seem very reasonable, however you have to pay an $wholesale dealership fee and many of the cars have issues that need to get repaired The sales rep promises that they will fix them but I cannot image the service quality is high Overall I am very disappointed, especially because they have such a large selection of used cars

I recently had my vehicle towed to Better Way being that I am still under my extended warrantyMy vehicle kept shutting off, it was towed on a Monday they didn’t fix my issue until that ThursdayI was told my battery needed to be chargedI asked should I purchase a new battery and was told “no the battery is good it just needed to be charged”days later my car started doing the same exact thing, shutting offI called Betterway and asked were there any underlying issuesI was told because my car didn’t have a service engine light on they DIDNT do a scan, they somehow figured my issue was because my battery was drainedI now had my car towed to a Hyundai dealer for a diagnostic test to be ranIf Betterway had ran the diagnostic scan last week I wouldn’t be dealing with the same issue a week laterI’m highly disappointed and would NEVER have them service my car againI’m sure my warranty paid them which they shouldn’t have because I’m back at square one

Johnny provided us w great customer serviceHe made our experience a lot easier & simpler than we’d thought it’d beHe actually made us feel at ease when it came to my 1st time buying a carI was very uneasy & unsure when 1st arriving, however, Johnny’s genuine personality pushed me to believe I was making a good decision & I appreciate him so much for thatThe Manager was great as well, for the short period of time we got to engage with himWe couldn’t have had a better experienceWe’d definitely return to this place in the future

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I did look over the purchase order before I signed it and that it why before I did I asked Tyler several times that this days unrefundable and if I change my mind or can't get financing can I get my money back and his response was "ABSOLUTELY " sorry that he can't admit to that!!! As he take to me while I was signing I did intend to not initial that part but instead didn't initial above it for the conveyance fee!! My problem is that he lied to me to get me to leave the 1,down then lied about telling me it was refundable, it's unethicalThe car was never prepared for me or fixed yet when I changed my mind and he was still showing the car after I had already put the money down, when I spoke to Tyler to tell him I wasn't gonna get the car he said out his own mouth that he had been driving the car around all day showing it!! But I guess he's going to lie about that too!! I looked into several insurance companies and none of them would do a policy for an adult permit, I never signed any papers accepting financing and far as I'm concerned the minute he drove that car after my 1,he violated the purchase orderPeople are allowed to change their minds so for you to force me to have to buy a car from there by holding my money is ridiculous and I do not wish to buy a car from your establishment when I can't even trust you
Sincerely,
*** ***

I am very happy with the vehicles I have purchased from A Better Way I have put over miles on mime and my husband has had his for a few months and they both haven't given us any problems We will be back soon for our daughter's 1st car purchase Thanks Steeve!

The Purpose of the complainants are things
1) They charge me $for “VIN Identification Number” which they never performed, because the car already had a VIN (Vehicles identification Number) number marked on it the first time I looked at the car
2) They charge me $for Registration, TITLE & Fees while they Charge me $which this charge includes for “Preparation and submission of Vehicle registration both Manually and electronically with the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles”
All in all they charged me Extra $

I have reviewed the complaint and the sales documents in regards to the complaint filed by *** *** purchased a *** *** and lives in *** **Each phone call to and from *** has been met with hostility and derogatory comments to ABW employees*** has threatened to sue each
employee that she has spoken with because she is an attorney and knows "the rules" Unfortunately in order for ABW to process ***'s *** ** registration, we needed the original vehicle inspection from her. After many conversations and lengthy explanations that ABW is legally bound by a dealer agreement with *** *** that they perfect *** *** as the first and only lien holder, we were called stupid, ignorant, incompetent amongst other wordsThe inspection report came almost weeks later. To date, ***'s registration is still not complete due to the fact that she owes over $in parking ticketsOnce that is resolved and *** provides proof, ABW will send the paperwork to our service agency that is processing her registration
