Owner agreed to process partial refund for over paymentI had my garage door repaired on Monday and felt that I overpaid so I called for quotes from competing companies and then called Agarage back for a quoteThe same company that just charged me $826, gave me a quote for the same work @ $I called Tommy, who lists himself as the owner on *** reviews, and discussed the overpaymentHe was very argumentative until I played him the recording of his employee quoting me the lesser price for the repair workTommy agreed to a partial refund, and it still has not been processedI'm unable to get a response from either him or his billing person and I shouldn't have to chase down the company for the promised refundEspec

Had an absolutely amazing experienceOur technicians were very informative and friendlyGot the job done quickly and on the spotExplained everything to us in detail so that we weren't confused on any service that was being provided/offered/quotedLiterally fixed my garage door in what seemed like minutes! We still have some items that need repair but due to the lack of funds we have to postpone, however we will be asking for the same technicians once we can get those repairs done! I had repairs done on my garage door todayMy husband was not able to see the invoice before he paid by credit cardWhen it came to me through email I was surprised to see the following:
I was charged $two times for "gas surcharge" ( I called and they said one of the charges was a mistake)
I was charged an "Arizona Cost Recovery Fee 6%" on the total of parts, labor and fuel charges
When I called I was told this was because Arizona does not allow them to collect tax, so this is to recoup that amountThey did not know if this was okay to do (I asked) - but this is how they do it

I order the garage door on august 21st, I was told that I was going to be receiving the door within 3, which would make it around September 10th, and September 19, I called them asking if the door was in and ready to be installed, they said yes, but there scheduling tech was busy and was not able to talk with me at that moment and they would give me a call back shortly Two days go by and I call back on the 21st asking about my door, they gave me the same line as there tech is busy and would call me back, I then call back on the 24th I then get the same line from them that I would get a call back to get my door scheduled for install, times I call them and no call back, I need the door, they don't call me back and don't care too, they have my email they have my number no communication at all So then I call them on the 27th and ask about my door being installed, they told me there tech was busy and that they would give me a call back, I said instead of being called back I would rat

My garage door spring broke and I went on line to find a replacementGarage door nation seemed like a good place to goThey had video help and offered a spring package to replace my spring system stating it was better and would last longerI bought itTo my disappointment, the springs are not the correct onesThey are too strongThese springs simply wont workGarage door nation told me what spring package to getThe cross reference is not correctThe sales agent wants to imply that I am not doing something rightThat is not correctI have worked in heavy industry for years on the tools, I know what I'm doingThe springs are not fit for the service they were sold forThe fault lies with Garage Door NationThey did the conversion from spring to spring and told me exactly what to getThe conversion is wrong

This company installed my garage door opener previously and replaced springs on my garage door in A year warranty was purchased on these springsIn early January this company was called to replace a garage door opener switch, the tech removed the broken switch and told me he would get a replacementAfter a month of calls and no switch on the garage, the springs broke againLast night a tech came out and replaced the springs and gave me a $bill for the repairs and claimed we can't get a replacement switch for the doorThe switch is a lift master, which this company sellsI'm extremely upset by the $bill as my garage springs to were supposed to covered by warranty which I paid forOther companies in the local area charge $for this same service I was billed $forThe Agarage door company failed to provide the warranty service and ripped me offThe Agarage door company also claims on their website to match or beat any competitorIt's obvious the faile

We have a relatively new garage door (months old & still under warranty), installed by a company that offers 24/service...except, unfortunately, on Sundays when a cable unwound from a drumSince it was also a holiday weekend & we were getting ready to travel, we had to find immediate help & ultimately contacted AGarage Door Service Their service representative came out...replaced the correct-sized drums with larger ones...rewound the same cables...said he adjusted the springsI was charged the following: $for new cables (the old ones were put back on, unknown to me); $for new drums, when the old ones were the correct drums & not broken; $for service call along with $trip charge (don't understand that difference); $for resetting the door, adjusting / leveling it (which to me is labor); and, on top of all that, a $labor fee for one hourTotal cost, $651!! Had no choice...we were in a bindImmediately after he drove away the garage door wouldn't close all the wayI gave it two tries & it finally workedThe next morning, getting ready to leave, the door was stuck 3' up, wouldn't move either wayWheels were out of the trackI called A1, they said they couldn't come out for days!
I called the company who installed the door...and they, unfortunately, informed me that because someone else worked on my door the warranty is voidHe was incredulous that A- who knew the door was months old - didn't inform me of thatThe original company worked with me, though, and came out & informed me 1) I was sold the wrong-sized drums, they needed to be replaced with the correct size 2) original cables were used, even though I was charged for new ones 3) springs were not balanced, one was at & the other 4) door was not levelThey replaced incorrect parts with correct parts, took care of the door, all for NO FEE! Strongly recommend, for those in the west valley, AVONDALE GARAGE DOORS!!
My intent tomorrow (since today is New Years Day) is to file a public service complaint with "on Your Side", "Call for Help" - and, more importantly, pursue a claim through small claims court for the fraud I feel Acommitted: sold parts I didn't need, charged me for new parts when they used the old ones, and did not properly adjust track & rail or rebalance the doorBuyer beware if you use AGarage Door Service!

I had a very positive experience today with my garage door repairTechnician Craig did a great job, was friendly and professionalI definitely recommend this company to othersThe company also texts a photo of the person coming to your home and their vehicle is well marked so safety is addressed which I also appreciated

They showed up on time as scheduled, the tech was very polite and professional, and explained everything really well as what needed to be done and completed in in a very timely manner

My garage door stopped working after years of use, so I decided not to fix it, but to buy a new one and install itI bought a wonderful contemporary style garage door from AGarage Door Service, and the door goes perfectly with my old houseTechnicians came exactly when agreed, not a minute late, and they completed the installation the same dayAdid a very professional job and I would recommend this company!

Company replaced garage door open/close mechanism on 12/26/($694.35), but did not show me how to reprogram mechanism in the event I needed to change the code involvedLiterature provided did not do so eitherNow want $to do so

What a horrible disaster of an experience! I contacted them for emergency service as I needed to travel and couldn't with my garage openThey said they would be there between 9:15-9:They did not call or come until 10:48pm at which point the driver said he was in Dearborn and would be there in minutesBased on my travel schedule I agreed to wait upAt 12:48am he still hadn't showedI called customer service who advise there was an error and she could have someone out by 8-10am the next morningAt 9, I called to follow up at which point I was cut off and called a liarTold that none of this happened and there is no availality but someone would come tomorrowReally!??! I think notUnvelievable and I got this from Angie's ListHorribleI know cant travel and have to wait for someone else, a better company, to come and fix my garage doorIt's hard to believe that companies are out there conducting business like this stillI have proof of all the calls and transactions so being called a liar is just ridiculous! Just great customer service:(
