We called them because of an accident that put us in a position to have to get our door repairWe called our usual company first but they were backed up to we took a chance on aMy wife set up a 4-6pm window for a free quote,at no time did the lady on the phone say that we would be charged for it unless of course we purchased a product or serviceAt 6:the tech whose name is Jerrod M called saying that he was minutes awayI was going to cancel but we went ahead with it any wayWhen he got here all that he could do was bad mouth Nestors door here in town, then he gave me quotesA high one, a mid priced one, and the lowest $oneI thanked him and let him know that we would think about itHe then started becoming pushy about a $appointment feeI told him that I was not aware of it, so I called my wife since she made the callHe started saying that it was on valpack or something like that and that they would waive it if I ordered a doorThe guy did not do any work and just gave me a quote, so I told him that I wasnt payingHe then pulled out his i-pad to let us listen to the call and there was nothing mentioned about a $feeWhen I pointed this out to him he started raising his voice and tried to point out that they never said that they wouldn't charge him, I said "hold on and let me listen to the call" as he was playing it for all to hearAt this point he gets visibily irritated and raises his voice at me saying " DONT SHUSH ME"I reply "excuse me" to which he repied "I am not a child, dont shush me"At this point I told him to get out of my houseI took a picture of his plate and he yelled "take a picture, I don't care"The man ran out and I sure did take a picture of his plates and vehicleHe stayed parked in his car until I started to call the policeAt this point he sped offAll that I can say is that I am never doing business with these guys againThis is bait and switch and not professional at all

I purchased a garage door opener from Agarage doors in January
In July 2018, the springs on my garage door brokeThey are waranteed under another company..Guaranteed Garage DoorThey came out and replaced the springs with the size that were on there(Side note...in they put on the wrong size spring and ended up replacing them with the correct size free of charge)
A few weeks ago my garage door opener stopped workingIt beeped times which per the manual indicates the door was not travelling at the correct speed
I called AThey first scheduled a technician to come outThen a few minutes later they called back and said that the opener needed a new circuit board as my model of opener has a faulty circuit boardI refused to schedule the repair as no one had even come out to look at it
After complaining to Bruce ( supervisor) I called back and a technician was scheduled to come out to assess the situationRobin cameHe said that the springs were the

Excellent service; from the call taker to the technician Hopefully won't need a full replacement for another years, but when I do, I will use Aagain

I had new springs installed and also cables, they did a very good job and the the garage clean

I purchased a garage door from A-on 7/2/I purchased upgraded parts which include a life time warrantyI scheduled an Install date for 8/9/They came on 8/I rescheduled 2nd install date for 8/On the day of, I call to confirm; the installers never showed up8/I called and was told I would receive a call back, which never cameI finally called Greensky (the lender)After several calls to A-through Greensky was a final Installation date scheduledI ask for compensation for my time and a written warranty, I was told I would have bothAfter reviewing the documents sent to me neither the the compensation or the warranty were provided
I can not get them to install, let alone service my garage door, and when I ask for a refund they tell me I have a contract that they will fulfill

I would like to try one more time to have management to respond to me about my concerns It has been weeks with repeated messages being left with phone staff and no return calls yet This is serious and involves violations by business in not following Lead Based Paint laws on garage door installations on homes built prior to I believe in giving everyone an additional opportunity to see the error of their ways If I get no response then my next actions is filing the appropriate complaint with the EPA along with the complaint to this site along with YELP, Angies List, Google Reviews and the Arizona Registrar of Contractors

Just had Jayson Fry of AGarage Door here to install new garage door springsFound him professional and fast, he did a wonderful job Price was reasonable as well

I spoke with AGarage Door Service representative, over the phone, and he gave me a very affordable price for a new garage door openerWe scheduled the installation for tomorrow, when Chad, their technician, came to do the jobHe was professional, polite and clearly knew what he was doingThe installation of the opener was complete in less than minutes and Chad showed me its featuresNow my garage door works perfectly and I would highly recommend Aand their technicians

If only I could give this company a negative amount of stars, I wouldI have never met the service with such a gross disregard of customers' timeThe only appointment they actually kept was the very first one, when a person came to give me a quote on a garage door repairAfter they received the deposit, everything went down the hillOn the day of the scheduled installation nobody just shown upNo call, no apologyWhen I reached the company after three hours wait (taking time off work), I was informed that the door was not in stock and it will be installed some time next week
Next week cameThree hours past the scheduled time, I finally reach somebody on the phone who tells me "the team is dispatched" but cannot give me specifics on the time they are supposed to arriveOne more hour passes by and the guy with my garage door appearsAfter he removed my old door, he informed me that the decorative windows to be installed on the door are not in stock and that they will be installed separately - right - next weekThe painting also should be postponed until the windows are installedSo, for a week, I am left with the toilet-white unmatching garage door without decorative windows installed
Guess what? On the day when those windows were supposed to be installed nobody cameI called the company at am and was told that they "placed an order" for the windows and I should expect a call within an hour telling me what time the guy with the windows can swing by my houseFour (4) hours later, no call
When I finally reached the company, I was told (after pretty extensive hold) that "the windows are not here" and "call us back some time next week to check on the status of this order."
Just my advice to any prospective customer: stay away from this companyThey have nothing in stock, they are not punctual, and they don't care about your timeAnd you know, they do not have below-market prices to justify such attitudeI am deliberating on having my order cancelled and hiring somebody else to get the job finished

Ad in Home Concepts magazine said Free EstimatesI called to get estimated cost range to replace a garage spring doorThey said it was up to the technicianI found that oddI spoke with a manager who based on answers I gave her on the type of garage door it was gave me a $150-$estimateI thought that was reasonableThey dispatched a technician who wanted to charge me $338+tax for a middle of the line model that would only last yearsThe yr model would cost $298+tax way above the estimate I was givenI told the guy it wasn't going to work and I was upset that I was lied toHe said I had to pay him a $service fee, even though the ad said 'free estimate'
This tech is probably outsourced and he pays the company a referral feeThe $is for the gas to come to my houseThis is not right, this is why I asked for an estimate before they cameI don't want to have a bunch of people come to my houseVery disturbing, had to come through my house because the garage door

Under no circumstances would I ever recommend this company whether in Northern Arizona or Phoenix -- I dealt with both officesA horrible experience I would not wish on anyoneThis is only the second online negative review I have ever leftI don’t do so lightlyIn years of home ownership I have never experienced a home service provider lie as much as these peopleIt so stacked with one lie after another and misrepresentations, it’s overwhelming to talk aboutLet’s start with they rescheduled the first appointment three times then ultimately didn’t show up! When you are home alone that means three times I had to re-arrange my scheduleThe initial dispatcher told me they had the “spring” on the truck --- this was a lieWhen I spoke to the installer (supposedly a training supervisor) he said the dispatcher did not ask me the right questions to establish what I needed and could he “skip” seeing the garage and just order the part and it would take a week to getThey finally sc

Daniel excellent tech Explained options, no hard sell, and was very personable Glad to give AGarage Door my business

This complaint is not for the wrong businessYour company, AGarage Door Service, operates on the internet as "Garage
Door Nation" and sells products on the internet using that trade name. The two companies have the same owner, the same business address, the same contact information. Since you have failed to register your trade name Garage Door Nation with the Revdex.com, it defaults back to the parent company - AGarage Door ServiceTherefore, this complaint is for the correct business

*** was amazing to work withHe guided us through what was wrong with our garage door and gave us a reasonable estimate for the door repairScheduling an appointment was easy and he came right on time to do the jobHe replaced the broken springs and also gave some sound suggestions how to maintain the garage door in futureOverall, a great experience with AGarage Door Service and I recommend this company to others

customer had year old springs that were well past their cycle lifeOur technician correctly diagnosed the issue (old tired springs and several other issues ) with the malfunctioning garage door and repaired itnew high cycle springs with a year warranty, center bearing plate, set of end
bearing plates, new high quality ball bearing rollers, new safety eyesCustomer then called us back days later wanting the old springs backAs a general measure of safety, we dispose of the old springs as they would be very dangerous if a customer attempted to re-use them on another doorSo, yes, days later, those old springs had already been disposed ofEven still, as a measure of courtesy, we sent technician back to customer FREE OF CHARGE to go over everything, tune things up, see if we could get the door to quiet down a bitTechnician did just that and left a happy customerCustomer later had issues with her safety eyesIn general this means something is obstructing them, and the customer simply needs to adjust or un-obstuct them. We had just been out there twice now, and door was working perfectly. Yet we were going to send our tech back there a THIRD time, and customer cancelled because we couldn't get back there quick enough to her likingWe feel we have gone above & beyond to make this customer happy to no availAnd of course the competing garage door company is going to tell her bad things about our company, in an attempt to disparage us and get her businessIn short we feel we have done all we could for this customer and she still wasn't satisfiedOur tech did not lie to the customer; the springs were years old and well past their cycle lifeThe customer got full service and repair and many new high-quality, warrantied parts, installed in a timely & professional mannerWell worth the $The springs may have "looked like" they were fine, but old springs past the cycle life are highly dangerous and break easily and can cause injury

It was never mentioned in the initial complaint about having another company/tech come out after we installed the new door; this is the first time we are hearing this"wrong struts & hinges"? Those parts come with the manufacturer/new door and are installed in thousands of homes in the countryAlso,"wrong struts & hinges" would not create the problems reported to usWe take other Garage Door technicians & companies opinions & diagnoses with a grain of salt; often times they will tell the customer things in an attempt to bad-mouth us. However, regarding this case, we would like to see the official invoice/paperwork from another fully licensed & bonded & ROC-approved company or technician that has at least years in businessAs a company with an excellent reputation on many review sites including the Revdex.com, we would be very interested in seeing these documents, to take it into further considerationAs far as refunding the $350, that is not an optionWe sold & installed a BRAND NEW garage door to the customer for $As stated before, this is an $value aloneNot to mention the re-framing we did as well. As stated before, we are into the customer well over $2K all inAgain, we know there were mistakes madeAbsolutelyBut we addressed them and customer agreed to the resolution....which is why the customer now owns a brand new garage door w/ full re-framing and paid only $for itThis is now a part of customers homeAlso I feel I must note the various threats of social media slandering & bad reviews that this customer has made from day oneAll phone calls are recorded

I received a coupon that stated $off springs for garage doorThey charged $for double springs, This was high but acceptableI expected a bill for $plus the tune up charge of $which was on the coupon, plus $for a keyless entry, plus 8.5% taxesThis would add up to $
They charged me a total of $The service person asked for my credit card and said that he would e_mail me the billI never saw the bill or signed itThe service man must have signed itIt is not my signature
I called as soon as I saw the bill on my computerThat was 3/and was told that I needed to speak with Bruce BoydHe contacted me on 3/He said that the bill was correctHe said the coupon said " not valid with any other offer"I have no idea how that pertains to the springsAlso, I needed a magnifier to read this
Also, on the bill was a $charge for "trip charge"They never said a word to me about this nor was it on their advertisement
When MrBoyd called he

Before finally choosing AGarage Door Service I wasted some time calling several other companies who were too busy to send technicians the same dayAcustomer support listened to my problem, offered an excellent quote for the repair, and sent their techs within just hours after the callThey repaired my door in less than one hour, lubricated joints and gave me helpful advice about the door maintenanceI already recommended Ato my friends and family!
