My wife and I purchased a $1,sleeper sofa less than a year agoThe sofa has been used about a dozen times during and we noticed the frame at the head of the bed has bent/sagged significantly Upon calling customer service and having Rooms To Go representatives inspect the bent frame, they concluded the broken/bent frame was due to wear and tear; thereby not honoring the warranty We are highly upset with Rooms To Go decision not to honor the warranty or try to work with us on their manufacturer's defect

I have done previously business with rooms to go and am satisfied with the quality of their merchandiseThe only issue is that the customers are not given an option for delivery purposes Customers are not given an option to pick up their merchandiseI purchase a bed and mattress set on Monday and wanted to buy an additional item The manager wanted to charge and additional delivery feeWe are local customers and can pick up the merchandise on take it home on our ownThe manager told me the only way was for me to travel miles to pick it up??? Why can't I pick it up locally? They want for the customer to pay to ship the merchandise that they want to sell If they want to sell it locally-they should have it available for pick up locallyIt's all about making the customers pay for shipping to their warehouse Consumers-don't let them make us pay for their expenses

Purchased Remington Place piece espresso bedroom set 4/ Paid over $2,for very cheap furniture made in Tiwain and had to wait weeks for it to arrive only to find most of the pieces cracked and damaged All but pieces went back on truck for exchange Spoke with customer service and they sent replacement in a week The furniture was not in a box like the first shipment....only wrapped in blankets and plastic wrap This time it had more damage than last set!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called customer service to speak with a supervisor who told us they did not have this set in stock so they sent us another damaged set that had been returned by another customer Are you joking!!!!!! We then told them we wanted our money back and they could keep the junk they sent us Supervisor sent us to store for online order....no help thereThey had our money weeks..we had nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

First & last purchase with Rooms To Go Ordered chase loungers for our new home They delivered We received a text a few hrs after the delivery guy left to let us know we could expect the other chase lounger in weeks I called the customer service department who told me there was not a truck in our delivery area until then (they are in Houston) (we are in Austin)....I highly doubt that.....but, anyway, Rooms To Go sucks, please find what you want on-line and don't mess with these people They have no desire to make the customer happy and an apology don't fix sitting on the floor!

I am so upset right now, I went into the rooms to go in Hoover,AlI paid for several bedroom items one of them was a gentlemans hutch ,it was returned to the store by the delivery men and I called the store and was told that when the truck got back with the hutch I could go by the store " an hour and minutes from where I live" the next day and get my refund,my husband went by there and was told that they would mail us a check within days,not happy about that but we said alright,well it has been weeks now so my husband once again went by the store and was told it was never set up for a refund!?! now we are being told it will take working days for a refund that should have been done as a refund to my bank account the day it was returned to the store, I paid the before I got anything but now I have to wait well over a month for a refund,this is not right nor is it good customer relations as I would have been a person to return and refer ,but that will never happen now!

I purchased a living room set in It was beautiful in the storeHowever, when the set arrived at my house, I noticed the loveseat was full and firmThe couch was soft and flatWe contacted rooms to go customer service who said the cushions would arrive as replacements for the couchThey never cameThen they denied that they offered to do thatNot even a year later the fabric started to tearI noticed the floor vacuum was getting stuck when going under the loveseatMy husband flipped over the loveseat and couch to look at the frameWe found the wood used was broken and glued together and rotted planks were used for the frameMy husband had to reinforce the frame with 2X4's to keep them from breaking completelyThe feather downed pillows leak feathers all dayThey stab you as you sit on the couchMy vacuum is constantly full of these feathersThis has been the worst set I have ever purchasedThe lamp the first month broke when the chain was pulledThe table legs move and shift when they shouldn'tThe worst part is knowing this was made in the USAIt's an embarrassment to stamp that on the rotting wood of the frameI now understand all the deals on financingThe products are poorly made in the USAI will be purchasing from [redacted] going forwardI wouldn't recommend RTG to anyone looking for furnitureI wish I had read reviews before wasting my hard earned money on the junk they sell

I went into the store to buy a FutonThe service rep was very helpful and friendly, however upon delivery of the futon I realized the futon did not fit in my spaceI called to see if I could return the futon or exchange it and was told that Rooms To Go has a NO RETURN POLICY! I have NEVER heard of a furniture store not giving a few days to return a piece if it didn't workIt was NEVER mentioned to me by the service rep when I was purchasing the futonI spent over $and cannot use this piece of furnitureI am very displeased and will never purchase a piece of furniture from this store again since if for some reason it didn't fit or the color wasn't right they will NOT let you even do an even exchangeTHIS IS INSANE!!

My recommendation never ever to buy furniture from Rooms To Go They claim to say their customer satisfaction is priorityBut that ain't true.! My brother and I spent hours at the show room and spent almost $12,When we asked for courtesy water as we were thursty, I was informed they dont have water and we need to BUY waterI was aploud " at my job guest satisfactory is priority tooWe give free water bottles to all our loyal guests Inshort- no body at rooms to go seemed to care muchAll they want to know- getting their commission at the end of the dayJuan- Bay Area location Webster tx- was helpful" Upon delivery- my dresser was damaged and they did not follow up eitherDays later when I contacted them as I was explaining, the phone got disconnectedSo when I contacted them backGave my number associate with the account And I informed, incase we get disconnected can you can me on my direct line? She got really upset awith me coz I gave separate numbersThan she HUNG UP on me stating I am having a bad day! Thiswas insane.," my advise- I would not refer anyone to rooms to goAnd hey don't fall for their TV commercials marketing techniques

Customer service was fantastic, UNTIL we purchased $4,worth of furniture - now they do not give a [redacted] about usOne chair came with a big slice in it, and here I am weeks later with the SAME chair because customer service keeps lying/making mistakes on their end for shipping detailsAfter complaining to customer service at the Stafford store, warehouse in Brookshire, and corporate in Florida, I was offered a $credit which not only made me feel even more angry, but insulted tooI was not complaining to get anything back - it's the principle! It upsets me even more that a corporation can make a PAYING CUSTOMER feel so unimportant and angryNEVER shopping at Rooms To Go again and making sure EVERYONE around me is aware of the crappy customer serviceI honestly wish I would have read all of the reviews before spending money at this waste of a place

Room to go online sent the wrong size mattress to go with a bed set They tried to get me to keep it anyway I explained that that is ridicules They said they would return in two days with the correct size mattress but could not give me a call in advance The no showed for two daysNO CALL, NO TEXT, NO EMAIL

Not sure where to begin...Ordered complete bedroom suite costing over $3,which is ALOT of money to my husband and I, put this order in on January 12, They told me it would not be in until March 12th I agreed but later thought on it and called and told them that I thought it was ridiculous for it to take that long, but ultimately said fine and hung up So then they call before the March 12th and proceed to tell me that the floor mirror that we ordered at sametime costing would not be ready until April I was VERY upset about this and told them that it was not acceptable and that the mirror should be in at the same time and hung up I then receive a voice message (which I still have on my phone) March 7, stating that they wanted to compensate me for all the trouble that we have had I still have that phone number also, which I called back and spoke with someone and they said they DO NOT COMPENSATE and that they do not know who called me The communication problems with this company is SO Terrible We have not heard one thing from the salesperson that we bought the outfit from NOTHING AT ALL!!! Then receive a call saying the mirror was in I was happy but not for long..., March 10th I get our outfit (less mirror rec;d another call saying it would not be ready again until April 11th) and I am so excited and we are both very happy with the furniture BUT of course we wait until April for mirror because we have no choice, they bring it to home, my husband tells them he wants them to open it and put it up in our room So they open box and guess what? Yep mirror is broken in corner The delivery guy says we can leave this and you can state it was damaged then they will bring you a new one My husband said [redacted] no, take it all with you box and all and we want a brand new one Here it is April 16th have not heard from anyone with Rooms TO Go Very sad how poor this company is being ran I will never recommend this company to any of many family or friends because of how we have been treated

Rooms to Go has to have the absolute worst customer serviceI bought an power recliner on Feb7th to use during my shoulder surgery recovery The local store arranged for fast shipping and it arrived on Feb 10thIt was delivered without the power cordThe replacement cord showed up today, Feb16th and it was the wrong cord!! I called the local store and they called their rep to see if a cord could be sent via Fed Ex before FridayA rep calls me and 1) no they can't send the cord via Fed Ex and he was so sorry the local store did not make that clear to me2) a replacement chair will be delivered sometime next weekI have to check the website to determine when that will beIf I just want the cord and paperwork then I can ask the men for that 3) if I am at physical therapy during that scheduled time then I will miss it 4) I asked for an email confirmation but they don't have the capability to email outside their company 5) the local store doesn't have an extra cord to give me but they are refunding my initial delivery fee 6) the local sales person had said it would be better to buy the chair in the store because buying it online means that I would have to deal with corporateGuess who I am dealing with?! This company's ineptness is going to cause additional pain and suffering while I await their resolution at their convenience

TEXAS HAS A LAW THAT ALLOWS A CUSTOMER WHO HAS BEEN DEFRAUDED TO CANCEL AND REQUEST A REFUND WITHIN THE THREE DAY TIME PERIODi FOLLOWED THE TEXAS LAW WITHIN THE ALLOWABLE TIME-FRAME AND ROOMS TO GO IN MESQUITE, TEXAS IGNORED THE LAW AND IS FORCING ME TO ACCEPT A $8,PLUS BED THAT DOES NOT MEET MY MEDICAL NEEDS I AM A 100% DAV FROM THE VIETNAM WAR WITH A PARALYZED SCIATIC NERVEHEADQUARTERS SAYS THEY CANNOT HEMP ME AND DEMANDS THAT I BREAK THE MATTRESS IN; WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY TOO PAINFUL TO DOROOMS TO GO HAS VIOLATED THEIR POLICY AND TEXAS STATE LAW, UNSYMPATHETIC TO DISABLED VETERANS

This review is referencing the McDonough store on Hwy 20/81. This is a new store and I just recently purchased my home. The experience with RTG was pleasant with the salesperson but when it came down to the middle person putting in my order to get it to me was when the experience turned to ***! I had an extended delivery while I waited for my closing but when I was ready RTG was not and this continued until TODAY. The middle man kept forgetting to either order my furniture so it can be delivered or the furniture which I paid for in FULL was;t there. I was told there was a strike in CA that would not allow my furniture to be delivered on time or that it was given away to another customer. Now I am waiting on lamps that I ordered and paid for on 5 June and they were supposed to arrive this Friday 12 June but guess what!! The middle man didn't put in my order until Friday 12 June!!! This is absolutely unprofessional in everyday possible! JUST UNSAT!!

I will never buy or advise anyone to buy furniture from this companyI bought a leather couch love seat and recliner, over $2000.00, from themMy recliner is now doing weird stuff and because I'm out of warranty rooms to go won't even let me pay to have one of their techs come look at itSo to me they don't back their products and once your warranty is up you get no help from them Again I will never buy or advice anyone to shop there

I purchased a mattress that was on saleThe next day I received a call from Rooms To Go saying that there was a glitch in the system and the price was not rightThey will charge me much more than the sale price because of their mistake Terrible and very rude costumer service

DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY THEY FIND A REASON TO SAY YOUR CLAIM IS DENIEDI BOUGHT WARRANTIES ON MATTRESSES, SOFA & LOVE SEAT AND LEATHER RECLINER AND THEY FIND A WAY TO SAY NOTHING IS COVERED!!! SO I PAID EXTRA FOR NOTHING!!

l will not purchase another item from ROOMS TO GO (RTG). My experience with RTG tells me they have no ethics and could care less about the consumer/customer. I wish I had checked the BBB before going to RTG. So word to the wise, DO YOUR HOMEWORK!! Upon delivery, INSPECT your furniture carefully to insure it was not previously damaged and then repaired. Repairs made to the furniture (subtly and cleverly made) I purchased (AS NEW/UNUSED) were barely noticeable until later when I began to dust it. Unfortunately, by the time I noticed that repairs had been made it was too late (per their Policy) for me to request a remedy/resolution for my situation. Mega Corporations such as RTG seem to be expert when it comes to ripping off the trusting, unsuspecting consumer. I guess that's how they become Mega Corporation. When a RTG commercial comes on TV, I turn the channel, in my mind they are nothing but crooks. I wish I had gone to Ashley Furniture or anywhere other than RTG.

I purchased an entertainment center from Rooms to Go on January 7, It is a four piece unit that combined when put together should all be the same color The first delivery all four pieces were a different color The second delivery/exchange they matched three out of the four pieces Today they came and the problem piece is still a different color than the rest of the entertainment center When we spoke to the Brandon store manager upon the original mismatched colors she asked me to check the dates on the back of each piece The right pier had a November date and the rest were December When all pieces are not produced at the same time there is always a chance that the colors won't match When paying over $1,for one piece and it being the focal point of the living room you want it to match perfectly Customer service denies that the pieces should all match they said it can be off Clearly, after checking with their manager they never purchased good quality furniture The manager in the corporate office was too busy to get on the phone with me The store manager has thrown in the towel and they suggest I pick something else This was the only piece and the only color that matches my home Their customer service is atrocious The customer care people need to take a course in "customer service" I have never been so unhappy in my life I would never recommend Rooms to go to anyone

Me and my wife are disabledWe came to the store to find a tableSales man promised that the table would be delivered and assembled the same or next day and he had the manager confirm thisThe table box was delivered but not assembledWe called and was given a date for assembly two weeks laterThis was unacceptable and not as promised at time of purchase We told the store to take back the unopened boxas we are disabled and cannot even move it They refused, saying that once the item was delivered to the home, it was "used" and they would not take it back RTG pushes sales by promises They have a unpublished zero return policy, which is illegal
