Accord Painting Reviews (218)

I recently moved across country and was in need of some furniture. I stopped at the local Rooms To Go and had a really good experience with the salesman. All together I left after purchasing about 10 pieces for $5,500. Unfortunately, my experience with Rooms To Go went downhill from there.

To avoid a lengthy wait for a weekend delivery, I took a half-day off of work for the delivery. When the delivery showed up the drivers showed me one of the pieces, still on the truck, that was visually damaged when someone in the warehouse cut a large hole in the box. Why they would even load a damaged piece onto the truck is beyond me. When the drivers started to put a table together, it was damaged even more than the other. Following the delivery a representative called me to ask if I was all set with the delivery. Why wouldn't they talk with the drivers before calling me to know there was a problem? I explained the issues I had and the representative was not very helpful. Her tone clearly suggested hat she thought I was the one who did the damage. She then told me the pieces could be replaced, but provided a delivery date a month out. The fact that I needed to wait another month for their mistake was unbelievable. I went back into the store to speak with my salesman and he got the delivery down to two weeks; still a little long for my liking.

Two days before the second delivery I had a work emergency and had to fly out of town. I called to reschedule the delivery and they told me it couldn't be changed within 48 hours and the truck was already packed. There was no way to get the pieces off the truck. A couple hours later I found out there was a slight chance that I could change my flight to get back into town for the delivery. I called the customer center once again to see if they could still deliver the items. Somehow in the couple of hours that passed the items that "could in no way be taken off the truck" were now off the truck and unavailable for delivery. I'm now waiting another month for the delivery. All of this because their warehouse people cut inexplicably cut a large hole in a box, allowing the piece to be damaged, and then decided it was alright to send that piece out for delivery.

Needless to say, I would definitely think twice about buying furniture with Rooms To Go again.

We purchased our Leggett & Platt adjustable beds from Rooms to Go in June 2015. The beds have broken 4 times within the first 18 mos since purchased. They contain a cheap plastic housing that breaks easily with everyday use. We are not overweight, do not have small children jumping on the bed, have not moved the beds since they were delivered or any thing else that would cause these issues. The housing has broken twice on 1 bed and once on the second bed. One of the beds also has a faulty support arm that we have to repair that causes it to squeak loudly when you get in and out of bed. These beds costs over $4k including the mattresses. They have a full 1 yr warranty and partial warranty after that. Needless to say we have had to pay for 3 of the 4 repairs so far. Both Rooms to Go and Leggett & Platt have terrible customer service and are unwilling to make the situation right. Take your money elsewhere when it comes to such a large purchase. BUYER BEWARE!

ROOMS TO GO FT MYERS:
I was misinformed, customer service was horrible and totally insulting.
they made no effort to hear what I was sayin...

I purchased sofa and chair, I had both bonded, for stain guard,
It was expensive but after speaking with my sales person she convinced
me it was "worth every penny". It shields against all stains. ie: red wine etc.
I have a small dog he jumped on the couch(which is usually covered)
he got a dirt mark(not mud, not grease) on the cushion. it took much elbow work and the cleaning solution the store provides you with before it came off. I called the 800 number to question as to whether, the sofa had indeed been guarded. I was told that with this warranty "dirt" is not covered. I tried to tell them I got it out, I was just concerned if there truly had been a real stain(wine, food, etc) that I was certain it would not come out.
I was told I voided my warranty, and to get a tech out there to look at it and reseal. I would have to take pictures and send it to them.
again I told them there was no stain, again she said they wouldn't do anything because dirt isn't covered.AND I HAVE TO SEND PICTURE TO PROVE I WAS NOT LYING. I WAS TOTTALLY INSULTED.
needless to say BONDING, SCOTCH GUARDING, is a rip off!!
DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY!!!!!!

This review is referencing the McDonough store on Hwy 20/81. This is a new store and I just recently purchased my home. The experience with RTG was pleasant with the salesperson but when it came down to the middle person putting in my order to get it to me was when the experience turned to [redacted]! I had an extended delivery while I waited for my closing but when I was ready RTG was not and this continued until TODAY. The middle man kept forgetting to either order my furniture so it can be delivered or the furniture which I paid for in FULL was;t there. I was told there was a strike in CA that would not allow my furniture to be delivered on time or that it was given away to another customer. Now I am waiting on lamps that I ordered and paid for on 5 June and they were supposed to arrive this Friday 12 June but guess what!! The middle man didn't put in my order until Friday 12 June!!! This is absolutely unprofessional in everyday possible! JUST UNSAT!!

My wife and I purchased a $1,500 sleeper sofa less than a year ago. The sofa has been used about a dozen times during 2015 and we noticed the frame at the head of the bed has bent/sagged significantly. Upon calling customer service and having Rooms To Go representatives inspect the bent frame, they concluded the broken/bent frame was due to normal wear and tear; thereby not honoring the warranty.
We are highly upset with Rooms To Go decision not to honor the warranty or try to work with us on their manufacturer's defect.

I purchased a living room suit through this company and had it financed through their in house, RAC Acceptance or Acceptance Now, about 7 months ago. They came in my home around June and put the furniture wherever I needed them to without me having to lift a finger which I appreciated, but I now regret. Recently, we had to rearrange our furniture to make room for our Christmas tree. And that is when we noticed that the glass that goes into one of the tables was too big. We noticed it because it fell and split my scentsy candle in half, which I just purchased, and then fell on my 5 year old son. We had already complained about the rug being horrible when we first got it because it is literally shedding everywhere. I find myself sweeping it up every day. They still haven't fixed that. Now I have this issue with this glass. At first I thought maybe they were being clumsy as they were moving it but when we looked to try to put the glass back, we saw the reason why it fell in the first place. It doesnt fit the table. It scared the [redacted] out of all of us especially my youngest son who it fell on. On top of that, I am still being hounded to pay the furniture bill to their in house financing company, who I had to file a complaint on as well but they still choose to reach out to other people after they stated they wouldn't and they had the nerve to say they didnt charge any interest or fees, but that is untrue as well. This is not fair to me as a customer because if that glass would have broken and I chose to have them take the furniture back they would have wanted me to pay for it.

We went in to purchase a Dinning Room set, we wanted to spend under $1000 which we found a decent one. First this is the second time I have been in the Port Richey store and was treated extremely rude by an older lady who sits at the main table playing a game on her Ipad. She was rude with her answer and basically felt like I was bothering her. We then get to the Jon W. sales person who was okay, but seemed bothered also. I truly believe he was upset with the older lady in the previous statement. We decided on a set and went to have lunch. My husband has medical issues so we went home. I found a living room set I was interested in also. I called the store to let them know I would be there the next day to purchase the dinning set and to see if the living room set was on the floor to see. Well the service on the phone was awful, they left me on hold for over 15 minutes, I then called back and I didnt even get to say who I needed and she was so rude she just slammed the phone on hold. I then called back a third time and finally hung up. What a shame to be treated that way. We went up further to [redacted] and purchased a beautiful solid wood dinning set at $1999 and are going back to purchase the living room set. It was a shame because I really wanted to give Rooms to Go another chance. I think you really need to re evaluate who you have manageing that store and re train the employees on customer service, it really is that bad. We are pretty reasonable and patient people. Although we ended up spending more, it was worth it for the great service they gave us and are going back to purchase more.

l will not purchase another item from ROOMS TO GO (RTG). My experience with RTG tells me they have no ethics and could care less about the consumer/customer.

I wish I had checked the Revdex.com before going to RTG. So word to the wise, DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!

Upon delivery, INSPECT your furniture carefully to insure it was not previously damaged and then repaired.

Repairs made to the furniture (subtly and cleverly made) I purchased (AS NEW/UNUSED) were barely noticeable until later when I began to dust it. Unfortunately, by the time I noticed that repairs had been made it was too late (per their Policy) for me to request a remedy/resolution for my situation.

Mega Corporations such as RTG seem to be expert when it comes to ripping off the trusting, unsuspecting consumer. I guess that's how they become Mega Corporation.

When a RTG commercial comes on TV, I turn the channel, in my mind they are nothing but crooks.

I wish I had gone to Ashley Furniture or anywhere other than RTG.

WORST COMPANY EVER. They make you pay an outrageous amount for delivery and they cant even guarantee you a delivery time when someone is home!!! I specifically told them when I purchased my furniture that no one is home from 2-6 and she said that's fine we deliver all day from 7am-10pm and then I get a text 2 days before delivery that they'll be there from 2-6. Called to complained to the customer service department and Ms. Pat D. the Supervisor was very rude and disrespectful she contradicted every thing she said and told me that if I moved my delivery date she could put my request in and accommodate me...why cant you do that for the already scheduled day? She couldn't answer the question...why charge customers delivery fees if you cant deliver it while the customer is at home or grant a decent delivery time. I will never spend my hard earned money at rooms to go again. Ms. Cindy who sold me the furniture said it was all day delivery which isn't true! Sad I have to keep rescheduling

Purchased Remington Place 9 piece espresso bedroom set 4/28. Paid over $2,000.00 for very cheap furniture made in Tiwain and had to wait 8 weeks for it to arrive only to find most of the pieces cracked and damaged. All but 2 pieces went back on truck for exchange. Spoke with customer service and they sent replacement in a week. The furniture was not in a box like the first shipment....only wrapped in blankets and plastic wrap. This time it had more damage than last set!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called customer service to speak with a supervisor who told us they did not have this set in stock so they sent us another damaged set that had been returned by another customer. Are you joking!!!!!! We then told them we wanted our money back and they could keep the junk they sent us. Supervisor sent us to store for online order....no help there. They had our money 9 weeks..we had nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Customer service was fantastic, UNTIL we purchased $4,000 worth of furniture - now they do not give a [redacted] about us. One chair came with a big slice in it, and here I am 2 weeks later with the SAME chair because customer service keeps lying/making mistakes on their end for shipping details. After complaining to customer service at the Stafford store, warehouse in Brookshire, and corporate in Florida, I was offered a $50 credit which not only made me feel even more angry, but insulted too. I was not complaining to get anything back - it's the principle! It upsets me even more that a corporation can make a PAYING CUSTOMER feel so unimportant and angry. NEVER shopping at Rooms To Go again and making sure EVERYONE around me is aware of the crappy customer service. I honestly wish I would have read all of the reviews before spending money at this waste of a place.

I have done previously business with rooms to go and am satisfied with the quality of their merchandise. The only issue is that the customers are not given an option for delivery purposes. Customers are not given an option to pick up their merchandise. I purchase a bed and mattress set on Monday and wanted to buy an additional item. The manager wanted to charge and additional delivery fee. We are local customers and can pick up the merchandise on take it home on our own. The manager told me the only way was for me to travel 375 miles to pick it up. ??? Why can't I pick it up locally? They want for the customer to pay to ship the merchandise that they want to sell. If they want to sell it locally-they should have it available for pick up locally. It's all about making the customers pay for shipping to their warehouse. Consumers-don't let them make us pay for their expenses.

I have made 4 purchases with Rooms To Go. I have had issues with some of my orders, but they always made it right. This time however, I am at my wits end with them. I purchased a 3 piece reclining living room set from them. My delivery date was supposed to be 6/17. I purchased this living room set for my wife, for our 17th Anniversary. She took they day off of work to make sure someone was here to accept the delivery.

Well, the weather got really bad. So I called that morning, to make sure they were going to deliver. They assured me that it would be. Then at 4 P.M. the call came saying that they would not be able to deliver it. I called into customer service, only to be told they only deliver on Wednesdays. We donated our furniture to make room for the new set. We have family coming in this weekend, I checked the outlet store to see if they had in stock. They did, but customer service said that I cannot pick it up there! Why?!!! This is my last purchase with RTG.....

First & last purchase with Rooms To Go. Ordered 2 chase loungers for our new home. They delivered 1. We received a text a few hrs after the delivery guy left to let us know we could expect the other chase lounger in 2 weeks. I called the customer service department who told me there was not a truck in our delivery area until then (they are in Houston) (we are in Austin)....I highly doubt that.....but, anyway, Rooms To Go sucks, please find what you want on-line and don't mess with these people. They have no desire to make the customer happy and an apology don't fix sitting on the floor!

I purchased an entertainment center from Rooms to Go on January 7, 2016. It is a four piece unit that combined when put together should all be the same color. The first delivery all four pieces were a different color. The second delivery/exchange they matched three out of the four pieces. Today they came and the problem piece is still a different color than the rest of the entertainment center. When we spoke to the Brandon store manager upon the original mismatched colors she asked me to check the dates on the back of each piece. The right pier had a November 2015 date and the rest were December 2015. When all pieces are not produced at the same time there is always a chance that the colors won't match. When paying over $1,500 for one piece and it being the focal point of the living room you want it to match perfectly. Customer service denies that the pieces should all match they said it can be off. Clearly, after checking with their manager they never purchased good quality furniture. The manager in the corporate office was too busy to get on the phone with me. The store manager has thrown in the towel and they suggest I pick something else. This was the only piece and the only color that matches my home. Their customer service is atrocious. The customer care people need to take a course in "customer service". I have never been so unhappy in my life. I would never recommend Rooms to go to anyone.

My husband and I bought a dining room set from Rooms to Go. After it was delivered I found the table was damaged and requested a replacement. Since then two tables have been delivered and we had to refuse delivery of both because they were damaged. Next week, 7 weeks after the purchase, the third replacement table will be delivered. Staff has been very nice to deal with but the company is not delivering the goods.

I'm extremely unsatisfied with Rooms to Go. They are nice as can be to you until they get their money and then you are dirt to them. I spent several thousands of dollars on furniture with for my new house. I've had 6 different deliveries from them for several reasons and none of them have gone smoothly. Not to mention that they make you reserve your whole entire day for deliveries so you can make no other plans. They've delivered a broken dinning room table, a broken dresser, and the incorrect chair all of those resulted in another delivery date added. We had a delivery come at 11:00 pm at night ( their delivery times say until 10) which means we had delivery men in our house until close to midnight. And then today I get the call that something is not going to make our delivery this Saturday so now i"m reserving another entire day for them to make yet another delivery, 7 days!!!!!!! If you tell anyone in customer service they just say "i'm sorry" and them move on, they care absolutely nothing about customer satisfaction. They will NOT get any more business from me.

We love our furniture we bought from the Pembroke Pines location of Rooms To Go. We have been shopping there for 10 years and everyone is always so nice.

In March of 2015 I went to Room To Go to buy a 7 piece set living room, when I chose a set they told me to pay a certain amount for 90 days and when your 90 days is up you would have to pay the original price. But when my 90 days was up they added more money to the bill when I paid half off and when we call to get more information from them their excuse was it was the original price. And the other day I went to pay off my payment they added more money to my bill which don't make no sense.

My sons bed was to be delivered today from 12-4pm. After taking off from work and then waiting the expected time frame, it elapsed with no call at all. I contacted customer service only to be told they are out delivering still and don't have an estimated time. My concern is what is the time frame given for if you can't fulfill the allotted deliveries in that time frame. Now while sitting on hold with customer service, I'm referred to the brochure and told nothing they can do. They didn't even offer anything off of the shipping costs. I know as a consumer I've now experienced 2 separate problems with this company and I'm fed up with lack of customer service, but you expect to be paid your money in a timely fashion. I also had a problem with my daughters bed and I actually purchased the extended warranty. Within the 2 weeks the adhesive skirting was falling off the bed. I personally went in the store and was given a reps number. After playing phone tag with this gentlemen, nothing was resolved. So I inquired when I made this purchase and was given the warranty number. As I'm paying for the warranty I call and they decline to fix because they indicated it happened during the initial 1 year warranty. Now they have me calling back and forth only to be told that the other party should be covering the item. I've honestly just given up. You don't expect to spend over 1,000 on a bed and not have it look the way they advertise. It's too many other furniture companies and I will start giving them my business. If I could cancel this order, I would because I no longer want to give any business to them.
