We ordered new bedroom furniture for my son on 01/17/and they day of delivery was supposed to be 02/13/ We had gotten rid of my sons bed the same morning expecting our furniture to be delivered and able to properly be put together Delivery people were fine but they could not put bed together because of missing piecesMy son had nowhere to sleep until they could get it delivered on 02/18/which required me to miss workWhen I called customer support on the 18th I was treated rudely and as if no big deal and told I couldn't return it if delivery could not be made promptlyDue to my experience I will never buy from Rooms to Go again nor will I recommend themI was in the market to buy living room furniture as well and I will now be buying that somewhere elseNo one made any effort to compensate us for loss of work time, my son having to sleep on the floor, or stress from the situationI bought bedroom furniture from you guys years ago and that's why I came backYou have lost me as a customer due to very poor customer service

I had filed a complaint regarding Rooms To Go and wanted to inform you that the very same day I did get an email from them and the matter was resolved within 48hrsI am thrilled with the results and am once again a satisfied RTG customer

We bought a living room set in June It is now March and I have just noticed the third spot where one of our couches has brokenWe are not a heavy family and we do not jump or roughhouse on our furnitureThey have made the frame of the couch with knotted woodAt each knot, it has brokenWe have called to let them know and they have come out to fix it twiceThis is now the third time this couch has actually BROKEN!!! I feel the integrity of the couch is so damaged that when they come to fix it they are just putting a bandaid on itAt this point the only resolution will be a new couch with another year warranty

Customer service is awfulI will never buy anything there again I waited a month for my delivery, to find it its broken and the order was wrongThen they proceeded to tell me it would another month to have the complete orderThe delivery personnel couldn't care less, and not afraid to say itThey told me it wasn't their problemI don't care how low your prices are, I will not shop there again

Worst customer service ever! Bought furniture for my daughter's room to be delivered 09/15/I never received a phone verifing a more specific time so I called to checkTurns out the delivery was not scheduledIn several attempts to talk to someone about the issue the best I got was "I can have it there in two weeks or you can go to the store to see if they can do something but it won't be today"No I'm sorryNo, let me see if there is something we can do for the inconvenienceNothing but " sorry"If I can talk my daughter out of getting this bedroom suit and purchasing elsewhere I will

This is the worst company for service I ordered a part for a dresser drawer, paid by check on July 1st I have spoken to several people over this time including a manager who called me back almost a month ago and was going to keep me updated on tracking down the part So much for keeping me updated!
I'm hoping the corporate office is able to view this as I will be putting out other negative messages in hopes that other people will stop buying because of the pathic service I have received I will also be filing a Revdex.com complaint
A business is only as good as the service in addition to a product Well, I have seen the worst service in my life with Rooms to Go

BEWARE!!!! I was browsing online and a live agent chat came up and I began asking information about credit optionsPLESE READ THE CREDIT APPLICATION FULLY Basically if you have a problem with the company and feel that you deserve compensation for their wrong doing they require arbitration and you cannot go through the court for your compensation You can also not participate in any class action suits against the company The credit agreement basically takes away your rights as a consumer to be able to be compensated for any damages or losses that could have been caused by the company But, here is the trick The company can file in civil small claims court if you refuse to pay off your debt They will dismiss the filing in civil court if the consumer in a counter defense has allegations of wrongdoing by the company In that case, they dismiss the Civil suit and then go to arbitration Arbitration is paid for by the company so who do think they side with most of the time Just readIt's dangerous

Horrible horrible horrible!!!

Bought the Veneto leather sofa sleeper and matching power reclining love seat with console for over $2,in March Waited over weeks for delivery It came in on April 30th Was perfectly comfortable in the store but the love seat is nothing like it was in the store It is horrible! I called customer service but they pretty much said "oh well, you have hours to exchange it." It is not the same product that was in the store! You can't misrepresent a product and then wash your hands of it What kind of company doesn't stand behind their product! So now a technician is coming out For what? I am happy to pay a restocking fee and purchase something else but they won't have it It's not in their policy Give me a break! Terrible customer service!

I spent $on furniture - when delivered, there was a problem with the nightstandsI showed the delivery person the problems - he said that he would note the problems on his delivery report and that I would have new ones brought out in - days
I called Cutomer Service days after the delivery on a Friday, and was told that there were no notations made on the delivery reportThey said that since there were no notations made, this was a problem and that they would send out a technician in weeks, to determine what should be done about the nightstandsOne of the nightstands has manufacturing defects and the other one has a scratch on it that appears to be from a drill, possibly when the delivery people attached the legs
These tables were not cheap and I do not feel that it is right for me to have to take furniture that is "new" with defects or that it is right for brand new furniture to have to be "fixed" or "repaired"

We purchased a rooms to go mattress specifically for the fact that the sales man guaranteed it was covered under a great warrantyWe loved the mattress at first but now it has a whole in the middle of itWe had a tech come out who measured it and then the company informed us we could not have it replacedThey made this decision based on the measurementsWe were a quarter of an inch from getting it replacedAfter going around and around telling them how stupid that is and how they need to measure it with me laying on it they finally said they would replace it but I had to pay $I was not happy with that but I drove minutes to the nearest to pay that and get a new mattress because I cant sleep on this oneI get to the store and the store manager said to go home and she would send another techI said if she does that need it to happen soon because I can't sleep on itShe assured me it would be doneA week later I get a call saying they will not send another tech I have to pay the fee and that is itSo I still don't have a mattress I can sleep on and we are back to this ridiculous feeNever us Rooms to Go for anything!!

I ordered a carpet online from RTG and when received it didn't fit the room so I contacted to return I was told rudely by Trey with online customer service that I had hours to return so I was out of luck When I asked to speak to a supervisor he continued to talk over me and said I should have called sooner and there was nothing I could do I will never do business with RTG again

We ordered a complete bedroom set for our daughter and pieces were delivered damaged 3 times before they got it right. We called customer service and asked for some kind of compensation for our time and frustration but were told their only obligation is to deliver what we ordered no matter how many attempts it takes. There was no consideration for the time we had to take to wait for the deliveries or to just provide some kind of good will for their mistakes. Even the delivery person was angry the last time since he said the warehouse was supposed to check all items prior to delivery, which obviously did not happen.

Expect for what was in the condo at the time of purchase and my bed, all the furniture in our home was purchased at RTG. In May 2011 we purchased a leather lounge chair and ottoman at RTG in Wellington, FL. We also purchased an extended warranty on that chair as was our practice. In May 2014 we left Florida for the summer. When we returned at the end of October, we discovered that the micro thin leather had peeled off in many places and was on the floor of our den. Other section of the chair were cracked and buckling and continue to fall off in chunks everyday. In November I contacted customer service, and was told to send a maximum of 2 photos to an e-mail address. That accomplished, I waited patiently for a response. There was none, not in November or December. So began my weekly attempts to contact customer service via e-mail with addition pictures of the deteriorating chair.

Finally, in February I decided to contact customer service by phone. Each call required a lengthy wait for a representative. After many attempts, I finally spoke with someone who repeatedly told me nothing could me done because it was out of warranty. I was refused the right to speak to a supervisor. Finally someone agreed to pass the message along. Sometime in March a message was left on my answering machine from Brittany who asked me to call back. Since, I was away for some time, I returned that call today. I called shortly after 10 A.M and again waited for 20 minutes to speak to a representative. Then an option call back option was offered on the recording and I left my home phone number. I left my home for about 45 minutes and when I returned home there was no message from RTG. Miraculously, when I called again a representative answered promptly, However, she was rude and continued to follow the company line. When requested to provide the name of the CEO, she refused to give that information. Well, a brief Internet search yielded the information.

It is difficult to express my disappointment at the refusal of RTG to stand behind the products they sell. A quick search on business complaint sites revealed other problems with similar leather furniture. We are aware that furniture at the RTG price point cannot be expected to last forever, however, two and a half years life expectancy is short. We are not asking for a refund. A replacement or repair would certainly satisfy us.

I found the RTG salesman I worked with dishonest. He assured us the bed we bought was available for delivery, without telling us that an essential part of the bed was back ordered for several months. When the partial bed was delivered we found out differently.

Customer service was unresponsive and then defensive, I will never buy from RTG again!

I am a long standing customer with rooms to go .I have bought many bedroom sets.table .my disappointment now comes
Four years after buying this dining room set all of the support bases on the chairs are falling off the chairs it self still look good but soon we will be siting on the floor I have two benches and two chairs all are made poorly . I've try to repair it for a couple of years now each time one fall off
I would use wood clue and screw the screws back in only to fine them fall back out again .I called rooms to go the customer service rep told me if I had bough the warranty ,that's good for four year I could get it fix for free. If I had bought the warranty it would be up by now and that would have been more money wasted. What has happen to furniture our parents bought that lasted for years.my advise is don't just look at how pretty the set is .I've gotten so many compliments on this set my family have enjoys many family time sitting here . But now I have to buy new chairs as the customer rep has suggestioned of course she wants me to buy from rooms to go . But I refuse to buy anything else from them they have lost a long time customer .

We purchased an entertainment unit from Rooms To Go. The sales person told us it looked like one piece was damaged in the warehouse so we would only be getting one of the three pieces. We were ok with that and knew we could wait a while if necessary. When the delivery people came this morning, they had all three pieces. We just naturally thought a new shipment was in. After set up and the delivery men leaving, we were looking things over and noticed the right back leg on one of the side piers was completely cracked and SCREWED TOGETHER. We could not believe it! This had to be the original damaged piece they rigged together to sell it. I cannot believe the DISHONESTY OF THIS COMPANY. If we were seniors like so many in FL, we would never had known what they did. When I called the store and spoke to a manager, she completly passed the buck an said it was in the hands of the warehouse. That was it. Not even an I'm so sorry for the inconvienience. Deal with the coustomer service dept now. I am absolutely disgusted with RTG and will never do business with them again. When customers get treated llike this, they tend to never go back again. There are too many other reptuable furniture companies around treating customer with respect to never have to go to a place like RTG again.

Worst after sell customer service ever!

Once you pay, you are in their trash can.

I purchased about $6,000 in furniture in August. They had to order most of the order and we were told it would be October 15th before it was in. Then we were told it was October 19th. Never were we told we had to pick it up ON THAT DATE. We went to pick up the furniture on October 29th, and was told because we didn't pick it up on the 15th, they had cancelled the order. Furniture was paid for in full in August! We were told call the store on Rain Lily where we purchased the furniture. We spoke with our salesperson, who told us she would have the store manager call us. After sitting at the warehouse for an hour, we called the store again. The Store Manager told us that we could reorder the furniture and it would be in mid December, again we paid for the furniture in full in August. We told him just cancel the order and refund the money, which he began talking about restock fees, etc. He did refund the full amount, which is the only good thing that was done. We were never told we had to pick up on certain date, we did not receive a phone call that the furniture was in, we did not received a phone call before they cancelled the order, and did not get a refund until we called them.

ROOMS TO GO IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. I HAD TO RETURN A CHAIR AND OTTOMAN FOR AN EXCHANGE AS IT COULD NOT BE FIXED AND PAY ANY DIFFERENCE. I PICKED A CHAIR AND OTTOMAN IN A SLATE COLOR AS THEY HAD NO OTHER TO MATCH AND MINE WERE NO LONGER AVAILABLE ? I WONDER WHY !! I HAVE CONTACTED THEM OVER AND OVER AS I NEED TO KNOW HOW MUCH THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE NEW SET AND HOW MUCH WAS MY RETURN CREDIT, THEY PUT MANY HUNDREDS ON MY BILL AND HAVE NOT CREDITED THE PROPER AMOUNT TO THE TUNE OF $161.33 AND I EVEN GAVE THEM A $100 CASH CARD AT THE EXCHANGE. THEY ARE SOOOO EXPERIENCE AT GIVING YOU THE RUN AROUND ITS NOT FUNNY I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN AND THEY KNOW IT THEY TREAT ME LIKE A DUMMY. I AM SIMPLY A RETIRED EXECUTIVE THATS SENIOR NOW BUT I GUESS THEY FEEL THEY CAN KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS. THE SALESMEN IN THAT SEFNER STORE ARE AMAZINGLY EXPERIENCED AT GETTING YOU DIZZY IN THE STORE AND YOU CANT WAIT TO GET OUT. IT TOOK THEM 2 HOURS TO GIVE ME THE RUN AROUND. I NEED SIMPLE RECEIPTS THAT THEY ARE REFUSING TO GIVE AND TOLD ME TO GO TO THE STORE ( I HATE ) TO GET ANSWERS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.....
