I was completely dissatisfied with Room To Go. I made a purchase on 8.2 and was not given a delivery date til 8.7 I was sent a text that delivery would be from 9 to 1. After several calls to customer service to track my delivery, I was disconnected, told that he was proud of me for memorizing my name address and phone when I gave it to him, told they couldn't get in touch with dispatch, told the driver was skipping around.....never did I receive a call saying there would be a delay. Finally at 7 that night I discovered that there were 5 more deliveries ahead of me. I called my sakes person who said that her manager would make sure I was on the truck for a morning delivery or else I wanted to cancel order. After spending the following morning waiting I called to check on status and was told that they canceled my order the previous night at 10 pm.

I called the store and was told that my refund had been processed and that I should have it with 3 to 4 days. The following day, I received a call from shipping to reschedule my order. I told him it had been canceled by rooms to go on friday. He had no clue. He was amazed at all the problems I had had. He read thru my notes and it said they spoke with me to skip my delivery, and that I was not home when they came. Both lies. I didn't receive one call and took a whole day off to be there. They typically take photos of the home when no one is home ......nut no photo was on file for my account. Hmmm.

Then after waiting for my refund and not receiving it, I called to the store 1 week after my order had been cancelled. The manager said he just got my file 2 days prior and said he left me a message to make sure I wanted to cancel my order. Another lie! And still no refund.

I had heard this from other friends that they were treated the same way and ignored their warnings. I hope that you will make a better choice than I did when shopping for your furniture.

We had a bedroom set delivered and in the process of taking a book case up stairs the delivery crew hit wall and knocked out a 2" by 4" section of our wall. The damage was pointed out to us by the delivery driver and he noted it in the delivery including pictures he took of the damage. He informed us that we would here from the company in the next 3-5 business days. When no one called we reached out to customer service and have gotten the run-around for the last three weeks. No one will call us and every call taker we speak with refuses to transfer us to a supervisor. Today we told that the company is not going to do anything about the damage they caused.

This had just been the most recent incident in what had turned out to be nightmare. Rooms To Go is the worst business I have ever done business with.

I bought an accent table with 3 drawers about a month ago, the bottom drawer did not open so I called RTG, they sent a tech that could not figure out what the problem was, pretended to do something and said that if he did more it would make matters worse, I thought the drawer would be a little better to open, I called today to report that I still have a problem, they said they would exchange the unit, since it appeared to be a manufacturer issue, but then said they were out of those tables and that I needed to pick something else, but THERE WOULD BE A FEE of $99.00 because it would be another transaction and they because they had to pick up the defective unit. so it boils down to: I have to pay
1) for the technician incompetence and
2) for the company's lack of integrity.
I have to keep the defective unit and probably pay someone to come to fix it

First of all, I have a whole home full of Rooms To Go furniture I purchased from Rooms To Go in Ft. Myers, FL.
I bought a love seat/sofa set from them. I was concerned with the maintenance /cleaning of a Ivory colored faux leather set. Salesman told me it was no problem to maintain. In fact he gave me two bottles of Rooms To Go brand cleaner to use when I needed to clean them. I tried the cleaner and it took off the color/grain of the sofa. I have tried for over three months to get Rooms To Go to admit this is their problem. They refuse, even at the store and customer service levels.
Seems now that I am stuck with damaged furniture with no further recourse by Rooms To Go.
They have now lost me as well as hundreds of other potential clients as I'm a REALTOR and when people ask me where should they buy their new homes' furniture you can bet it won't be Rooms To Go.

Not sure where to begin...Ordered complete bedroom suite costing over $3,000.00 which is ALOT of money to my husband and I, put this order in on January 12, 2015. They told me it would not be in until March 12th. I agreed but later thought on it and called and told them that I thought it was ridiculous for it to take that long, but ultimately said fine and hung up. So then they call before the March 12th and proceed to tell me that the floor mirror that we ordered at sametime costing 200.00 would not be ready until April. I was VERY upset about this and told them that it was not acceptable and that the mirror should be in at the same time and hung up. I then receive a voice message (which I still have on my phone) March 7, 2015 stating that they wanted to compensate me for all the trouble that we have had. I still have that phone number also, which I called back and spoke with someone and they said they DO NOT COMPENSATE and that they do not know who called me. The communication problems with this company is SO Terrible. We have not heard one thing from the salesperson that we bought the outfit from. NOTHING AT ALL!!! Then receive a call saying the mirror was in. I was happy but not for long..., March 10th I get our outfit (less mirror rec;d another call saying it would not be ready again until April 11th) and I am so excited and we are both very happy with the furniture. BUT of course we wait until April for mirror because we have no choice, they bring it to home, my husband tells them he wants them to open it and put it up in our room. So they open box and guess what? Yep mirror is broken in 1 corner. The delivery guy says we can leave this and you can state it was damaged then they will bring you a new one. My husband said [redacted] no, take it all with you box and all and we want a brand new one. Here it is April 16th have not heard from anyone with Rooms TO Go. Very sad how poor this company is being ran. I will never recommend this company to any of many family or friends because of how we have been treated.

This is the worst purchase i've ever made! I ordered my furniture Feb 6th and requested delivery for Wed feb 10th which my salesman promised I will have my furniture. Come to find out the so called 3rd party company don't even deliver on Wed. So cancelled my order and went to another location hoping to get a salesman that knows what hes talking about and deserve my commission. Tues Feb 9th I reordered my furniture at a different location and was told delivery was available on sat 7am-11am. I excepted the time frame to stay home all day and to never receive my furniture. Its now Feb 15th and still have no delivery. Spoke with a manager from my purchase location..and now i'm possibly waiting til Feb 19th or the following week for one couch!!...This will be the first and last time I purchase from this place!.

Excellent sales man Sami at the Wellington FL location, poor and unprofessional delivery driver, not to mention how extremely unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate, poor customer service I received via telephone from Pat. Why have the option for express delivery and wasn't able to utilize the bed until one week after purchase for an in stock item. What a waste of delivery charge for poor service after 2 deliveries and 2 days of not working waiting on my delivery, was still unable to receive all the pieces necessary to put 1 queen bed together can you imagine if I bought more than one item! Will never recommend this company to anyone!!

On Jan. 11, 2015 I purchased a furniture package that included a 2 recliner sectional, w/ 2 consoles, t.v. stand, and a 50' LED Sharp T.V. Paid in full! I had to wait 5 days after delivery to get the t.v. No problem; I waited. Delivery was made, but the delivery men were in such a hurry that they didn't put the sectional together properly. My boyfriend had to do it when he came home from work. Second, the t.v. console was severely damaged from the moment the delivery man took it out of the crate. He assured me that I would get a replacement in 3-4 days. Feeling unsure of his word I called customer service a few days later. They had no record of the console being delivered damaged. Good thing I called. The customer service employee told me that a replacement would be sent out, and that I would get a call in a few days giving me the delivery date. After waiting another week a repairman shows up at my door. Where was the replacement stand as promised???? He immediately said that the damages were too bad for repair, and that I needed a replacement. Well, that's what I thought they were going to do in the first place. After all, they are the ones that delivered it already damaged. So now it's 3 days later, and I am still waiting for a call from Rooms to Go to tell me what's going on. My next issue is the t.v. When I bought the furniture deal the salesman told me that after 5 days from date of delivery my Best Buy card would be activated and I can go pick up the t.v. So 5 days later I call Rooms to Go to make sure my card is activated, like the salesman told me to do. I spoke to an employee there and she assured me that the card was activated. I go to Best Buy to pick up my t.v. and found out my card was not activated. They didn't know why. I spoke to a manager at Rooms to Go on the phone to find out why. She didn't even know, but told me that I couldn't get my t.v. that day. I was very upset, and annoyed by this time. I told her that this was unacceptable. I wanted the phone number to their headquarters, and later found out the number she gave me was to their customer service, instead. I felt betrayed. Customer Service had me on hold for nearly 20 minutes before my call was answered. I was on the phone with the representative for what seemed like forever, and she had me on hold. Finally, she came back and told me that the reason why the card didn't get activated was because the day before was a holiday. I was beyond angry, but I managed to stay calm. Needless to say, I didn't get the t.v. that day. The next day my card was activated, and I went back to Best Buy. Now, they didn't have the t.v. in stock, and they had to order it. Or, I could drive 40 miles one way to the nearest Best Buy, and pick it up there. I could no longer wait! I ended up going 40 miles one day to get the t.v. I am so frustrated with Rooms to Go that I will not do business with them again. I still don't have my t.v. console, and I will probably have to call them myself to find out what is going on.

This is Worst experience ever, horrible customer service .they promised a delivery date the truck came with out a heads up call and left without dropping furniture off they dint want to do a next day delivery. We cancel the order and ask for a refund and have to wait a whole week to get our money. This service was very unacceptable and unprofessional.

I recently purchased a dinning room set from Rooms To Go. When the delivery arrived I had been sent the wrong table and a few of the chairs had been damaged during the shipping and had to be returned. A few days later I got my new chairs and the right table. The table I received was scratched up and damaged in a few spots but I elected to keep it due to the hassle of it all up to that point. The manager at the store location did give me a small discount on the table due to the fact that the day my order was placed the sales person had charged me for the wrong table and that was why I had received the wrong table on delivery. A few months into using the table (only twice) the wood started bubbling up. I'm guessing something had been spilled on it which tends to happen on kitchen tables. The table was still under the factory warranty but Rooms To Go would not replace it and it can not be fixed.... I will not be buying from Rooms To Go again. The furniture is cheap and apparently warranties mean nothing.

Very bad experience, the salesperson, Eduardo, lied. The manager Jorge S. did not care. Purchased a sofa and Mr. Eduardo lied to make me purchase the scotch guard, he quoted to delivery at $124. When I noticed at home, called to inform my granddaughter is allergic and I did not want it as I had not ordered it. Bought it on Black Friday 11/25 went to cancel order on Monday and manager wanted to charge me a 25% restocking charge. ???

I ordered a recliner and reclining sofa. The day of arrival the delivery man, before bringing in the furniture came to my door stating he was delivering damaged goods. He said I could accept them to use for now and get undamaged goods next week. I agreed. We agreed on the next Saturday and the company would be calling. I received my usual automated phone call stating that my delivery was set for the following week. When I called customer service they stated I agreed to that date. So I asked her why I would be calling to complain if I had agreed to that date. She had no answer. I told her that date was unacceptable and she said there was nothing she could do. I asked her if it were ok to have an unhappy customer and she said there was nothing she could do. I asked her if she would compensate my monetarily, she said there was nothing she could do. BTW, the chair was damaged so badly I am unable to use the reclining feature. Damaged goods. Waiting 2 weeks. No type of compen

The sell inferior furniture, junk, garbage so BEWARE OF WHAT YOU BUY.

Furniture was to be delivered between 11 AM, and 3 PM. Received a call about 11 AM, and was told truck got stuck in the mud? Now delivery is between 3 PM, and 7 PM. This suck as I've been setting home all day waiting on the delivery. If it's not here by 7 PM to Wednesday the 15th of July 2015 I expect a full refund of my delivery cost.
Hell of a way to run a business! I won't ever buy anything from Rooms to go again.

Where did they run in to mud in the Sand Hills?

I purchased a bedrooms set for my son over a month ago , the bed came broken and this is the way it was assembled , according to the technician the mirror couldn't be assembled because there were screws missing and the drawers were missing the handles so they had to be ordered. I received the handles right before the New Years holiday so I had to wait to over a week to receive the parts and I also had to wait to schedule a technician to come out. In order for them to accommodate me ASAP I had to call 3 times since the earliest they can work with my schedule was for Jan 21. They were able to expedite me for Jan 12th but I had to call and make arrangement with family so that they can take the day off from work so that I can be able to accommodate rooms to go delivery system ( 3hour window ). As I was dusting the drawers, I opened the drawers , only to find out that the handles I had been waiting for were installed incorrectly by the technician on the inside of the drawers , this is unacceptable, what kind of technicians are you hiring ? Do they even have a instruction set to follow or a picture of what they are assembling ?I had to call rooms to go over 5 times over the course of this issue to make sure this issue was addressed. I am extremely disappointed and this will be my last purchase at rooms to go. The message I've been getting from everyone I've called is pretty much that there's nothing that they can do ,so technically I need to just deal with it. Rooms to go needs to make sure they have qualified technicians and are providing exceptional service if they do not plan on correcting the problems that arise from incompetent technicians or unsatisfactory service.

I purchase a living room set last August. On one cushion (where I NEVER sit) the couch was sinking in to the point of hitting the wood. I did sit in this area occasionally but not often as it was in the center of the couch and I sit next to an arm of the cushion. This is the first 2 cushion couch I've ever owned and I do not recommend them to anyone. I will stick with a 3 cushion couch in the future as I believe the 2 cushion couches allow too much weight to bear in the one area. And the cushions are attached so you can't flip them over. Anyway, I contacted Rooms To Go since I have a year warranty. They sent someone out with a few days and within a week later, I was contacted to be told they were going to replace it. The replacement came with 3-4 days. Good job to Rooms to Go for standing behind what they sell !!! Would I recommend them to others, yes, but understand, you may not get good quality furniture so keep that in mind. Guess that's why it costs less.

Thee WORST customer service experience I have ever had to go through.....no empathy from no one. I received wet furniture, protector that was sprayed on it and my dining room set could not be put together. They admitted they have 5 complaints within the last year about the same set I bought......really!!! Every person I spoke to including Ms. [redacted] in the corporate office, made me feel like it was my fault. I request to have the dining room set picked up and my money returned. I was told it would take 2wks but yet it took 1 second to take the money out my bank account. I am a loyal Ashley Furniture customer, moved to Tampa from NJ and gave RTG a chance..........NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! BACK TO ASHLEY FURNITURE I GOOOOOO!!!!!

On January 8th, I purchased a couch & chaise for $875 at the Rooms-2-Go Outlet in Columbus, GA and was very pleased with the price of the pieces. I used my R2G financing, since I have used it previously and it was easy. I received my statement today and what the salesperson who put my order together, the cashier and the manager who approved my purchase failed to mention is that you have to spend $1,000 to get promotional pricing at a R2G outlet, unlike the retail stores which will get you the best promotional pricing they can automatically. So now I've got to pay it off (because Synchrony Bank doesn't let you transfer your card balance to VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) in 25 days or be charged the predatory 30% until it is.

The sad thing is that after purchasing my couch & chaise, I was so pleased with the prices and easy pickup that I went back and bought another $250+ dollars of furniture on Jan. 16th. I was planning on purchasing two bedroom sets, as well as additional living room, office, and dining room furniture as soon as I moved into my new home and got measurements.

I called the store and spoke with the assistant manager who said she'd speak with the district manager to see if they could do "anything" to help me. She flat out told me a return was impossible because they'd already invoiced my purchase.

I will not be coming back to ANY Rooms 2 Go location after this experience and I will never again recommend it to my friends, family & coworkers as an easy place to purchase furniture. I'll find somewhere that wants to actually keep my business and is upfront about their financing.

I have had the worst experience as a first time customer of Rooms To Go. My husband and I purchased a bedroom set for $4,100.00 in November, 2015. The bedroom set was scheduled to be delivered on December 2, 2015. When delivered the dresser, headboard, footboard and mirror were damaged. I called the customer service department several times and spoke with different representatives, which some did not provide professional customer service. After speaking with a supervisor, new furniture was ordered and a delivery date was scheduled for December 9th.
Yesterday, we received the new furniture which was in worst condition than the first set. I called customer service with another complaint regarding the new furniture. The representative whom I spoke to informed me that I couldn't get a replacement until February, 2016. I asked to speak with a supervisor, who was apologetic, and told me she would reach out to the manufacture. After all the aggravation and broken furniture, we were offered a $75.00 credit and replacement furniture again (delivery date of December 24th). As of today, I am still waiting for the supervisor to call me back. I will NEVER refer anyone to this company.
