recently I had my services move to another address And still am waiting for a refund Recently I had my services moved to another addressI was supposed to receive a refund and have it refunded back to my bank account with in to business days My services were installed on 4/28/that's when the refund was supposed to be issuedI did not receive my refund yet today is 5/15/between 4/28/and 5/15/I called them times and every time I called no one gave me the same answerI called today to see were my refund was and they told me that they sent out a check on Friday 5/12/to a address that I don't receive mail atAfter being told that the money was going to be eletronicly debited back to my account they told me they cant do that they have to send out a checkIf I owed ADT money I would get charged with late feesI want my refund and I want months of free service for all the problems they have caused

After I cancelled the ADT Service, I was sent a cancellation bill for $(approximately years future service) I received a bill for $from ADTApparently this invoice was subsequently charged to me when the pinging noise in the ADT Wall mount suddenly became activated and I called ADT to stop this noiseYou should be aware of the following items; I have not had ADT Service for about /years as the original home builder apparently had this service installed when the house was built in I never subscribed for ADT service when the Home Builder's contract expired Several days passed before a service man from ADT came to stop this hour noise The noise was finally eliminated but I was charged a fee for this service even though it was due to defective ADT equipment Several days passed before an individual from ADT came to my house and presented to me a service contractNo mention was made of the cost, the duration, and my obligations of the

The balance of my contract was billed with no breakdown and an extra payment was even debitedNo explanation of how it was calculated was given I had ADT (acct #XXXXXXXX) and was paying on it monthlyThen I moved to a new location, but this time it was a rentalBecause I was not the homeowner of the new location, I had to get Protection One ADTSo ADT canceled the first contract, not without first debiting the following month from my bank, and then charging me the remaining balance of the first contract and debiting it from my bank accountWhen I called to resolve this, I could not get a breakdown of how ADT had calculated my balance of $(I wanted a calculated monthly breakdown, not just a balance due billing)And even at that, I believe that ADT still owes me $from a payment debited on 9/4/In fact, the account history actually shows TWO payments of $billed, one on 8/and one on 9/In summary, I am only told that the amount $was the amount ch

After fulfilling my three year contract, I called to cancel our ADT security service Now, I cannot get ADT to stop billing me Account Number XXXXXXXXX - After fulfilling our three year residential contract, I called to cancel our serviceThe agent stated I needed to send the request by email, which I have...four times I finally called and contested the charges with my credit card and now ADT is sending collection letters This difficulty cancelling service seems to be a company cultureNo one on a phone can help and emails are never answered I want my service stopped and any overage payments returned

This is the absolute worst home monitoring business I have ever dealt withAfter being with them for years I was moving and called to request a transfer of services as I had just recently upgraded my system and was committed to another year of service with themDuring my phone call I was advised that it wasn't as simple as transferring my servicesI was told I had to leave all equipment installed at the old address (I'm going to go ahead and assume that this is just a shady way of attempting to attain more business from the new home owners) and a technician would have to come out and assess the new propertyOk ADT fine...whatever you sayUpon meeting with the technician at the new house....he did his so-called assessment and informed me that the new install would cost 1700$ and I would be committing to a new three year contractHa! UnbelievableI originally decided to bite the bullet and pay the 945$ cancellation penalty....rather than pay 1700$ for the install and 50$/month for a cheaper package at the new address....I was receiving more at my old address for 39$/month...the original install there was 300$! You're numbers make absolutely zero sense!!!! And you are the robbers! I was lucky to find someone who wanted to take over my contract and got out of this mess unharmed financiallyI currently have my home monitoring services with Rogers smart home monitoring! Great service as long as you have a good internet connection! Smart bulbs, smart thermostat, cameras with 24/monitoring and recording, door locks, motion and door sensors....all for 0$ installation and 34.99/monthAND...I can unplug everything and take it with me when I move at no costyear contract ADT you are awful and no one that knows me will ever use your servicesI work in real estate and know a lot of peopleYou lose

Requested to cancel services since I am moving to a high-rise with a security guard alreadyTheir policies require an exorbitant fee I started receiving services June 3, (Account #XXXXXXXXX) To make an appointment, you just call them and they quote a price and send a technician out to install the alarm systemWhen the technician is done, he gives you a contract to sign as he stands over your shoulderI was not made aware of the penalty terms for early cancellation at any pointOn June 7, 2016, I tried to cancel my contract and they told me I would owe 75% of the remaining contract balance (~$800) if I cancelAlternatively, I could pay ~$installation fee for them to install the system in my new apartment, even though I don't need itThen they would cancel my current existing contract at no cost to me and enter into a new three year contract thus coercing me into staying with them an additional yearIt seems like unethical business practices to 1) require a customer to

ADP has called us and said something is wrong with our security system and they need to come out and check itI have a company who handles my account and they say nothing is wrong with my systemADP then calls and says my battery needs service, yet my battery is newIt appears ADP wants to come to my house, pretend they are my provider and perhaps change me over to their system? Nevertheless, they called me so many times from XXX-XXX-XXXX I had to block them

I called and canceled my service with ADT I was told I was going to get a refund for a small portion of the unused time left I called and canceled my service and was told that I would be receiving a partial credit for the unused portion of my prepaid service which is billed and prepaid quarterlyThen I received a bill in the mail for $something dollarsI called they said I had to cancel days prior to canceling serviceI told them that I had (which I did)Now I'm in collections and the amount that has changed times is now $There is things wrong with situation#I did cancel before days before the new quarter#even if I didn't I never agreed or signed such a thing in my original contractI've been a loyal ADT customer for or so years have never been late or missed a paymentMy ADT account # is XXXXXXXX

Dealing with ADT has been a nightmare I cannot get them to agree to a reasonable installation date and time They assured me they would come after I was off work but tech called hours early When I advised of my specific instructions to dospatch, the tech advised "I don't have time to wait around" After calling ADT I received nothing but a hard time I have waited for a week now since moving in order to get my service transferred The entire system was already installed by the previous owner Given the comparatively highly monthly monitoring rate and the number of years I have been a customer, I find my treatment by ADT to border on the shocking Certainly not reasonable This company could care less about you and me It's all "bottom line" and zero cooperation, assistance or goodwill from this company The fact that the scheduler assured me there would be "no problem" caused me to reschedule appointments for the day Now, the day is lost and I still have no active security system

[redacted] is the ADT repI was under the impression I was paying $50, not $500, to have cameras and equipment installed at my shop [redacted] forwarded me a contractI was and still am extremely busyThis is our first year in businessI thought I was being charged $to have two cameras installed, along with an alarm system and was going to be billed roughly $every monthI never sat down with [redacted] to discuss anything in detailI was emailed the contract and did not understand what was included in the contractI just started losing my eye-vision, but I was quick to sign on 8/3/because we were open for business and thought I was paying $for installationThe cameras failed to capture two shop lifters in my shopThey made off with an [redacted] computer worth $The alarm system triggered an entry late at night and the police arrived at the shopI had to pay LAPD $for a alarmI asked if I could return the cameras and equipment on or before

Unsatisfied with service provided and requesting removal from contract I am writing in regards to account number XXXXXXXX The phone number on the account is XXX-XXX-XXXX and the account holder's name is, myself, [redacted] The address that the account is currently located is [redacted] IN XXXXX Over the past several months I have had extremely poor customer service through ADT and wish to cancel my account When I called and spoke with the Loyalty Team on August 31, 2016, I was told that my contract still had almost months on it and I would be assessed an early termination fee of nearly $ I believe that this is an error and an unfair amount to be asked to pay I have been with ADT for years In June of 2014, we purchased a new home and added this home to our account while keeping the other home active, as it was being used as a rental home When I called to add my current home to the account, I specifically asked if this would be cr

I have contacted ADT numerous times to speak to a mgrregarding my acctand no one has called me back and they sent my acct to collections Again, I have contacted ADT for months on numerous occasions to speak to a manager to resolve my issue & and I have yet to speak to a mgrto resolve my issue ADT has sent my acct to collections without resolve and many requests to speak to a manager The reps for ADT are rude and unprofessional I need my issue resolved ASAPI have been a customer of ADT for many years with a lot of money spent on surveillance cameras and my security system as a whole and I will never go back or recommend these crooks

Alarm going off and a person cannot come fix it for four days The battery installed by ADT is beepingI called and they said it was low is why They said they could mail me a battery in 4-days I said the beeping is driving me crazy- that is unacceptable Can you turn it off from there They said, "No." They said they can send someone out in -days They tried to tell me how to unhook the battery, but it's not a regular battery I see no way to unhook the wires Then they said to unhook the electrical transformer in the garage! I don't know how to do that, either, and I never mess with electrical wires I don't feel like I should have to, either!!! I said just turn it off, I cannot sleep with that beeping They said I have a contract and will owe $ [redacted] dollars if they turn off my service! I cannot believe a business treats customers this way and there is NO resolution! I have never missed a payment! A manager named [redacted] was unbelievably unhelpful!

Deceptive practices from the beginningDo not do business with ADTAfter receiving a pamphlet in the mail saying 19.99$ for the first months, and regular price thereafter for two more years I called ADT sales departmentAfter a tedious questioning - on my part - I was transferred to the manager who assured me that I would get the 19.99$ a month for the fist months, then 38.99$ plus tax for the next two year, a 99$ installation fee with a 100$ gift cardThe manager was pressuring to have a technician come the next for installationI told him that I just wanted to have someone do an estimate of what could be done and at what price before I'd commit to anything in a contractThen after the evaluation and agreed upon details of a contract I would have ADT install their equipment and start their service at the end of the monthThe manager agreedI agreed to have the technician do an estimate two days laterThe day the technician came, he had equipment in hand ready to installI had to remind him of my phone call with the sales manager and that I wanted to make sure that I would get what ADT claimed they could provide in the publicity before any work could be startedThe technician applied pressure sales tacticsI had him finally admit that he was pushed by ADT to do itTheir tactics are called "educating the customers of the FtKnox security protection options"I understood the man had to do his job; I listen but stuck to my guns; 19.99$ first months with 38.99$ a months thereafterThe technician spent most of the hours long "installation" over the phone with his manager followed by business deal conversations with me telling me that he (the technician) would personally give me a good dealI insisted that I did not want a good deal from him, but just what I was told over the phone two days priorMake the story short, I signed a contract for 19.95$ for the first months followed by 48.99$ a months for two more years due to some incompatibility in technology And the contract would have to start right away and not at the end of the month as I initially agreed over the phone Then I received the first bill - conveniently sent after the day try-out period - from ADT87$not the 19.95$ plus tax a month I had signed for on the little tablet the technician had me signI quickly realized through ADT "customer" service that I had to call a third party company - Defender Security - I had dealt withAt no time was I told by the technician that he was from Defender Security; on the contrary, he told me he had been working for ADT for over one yearOver the phone with the defender Security consultant, she told me that whatever I signed the day of the installation was not a contract but a mere Order Summary and that the contract stated differentlyDespite explaining to her that I had clearly signed for a 19.95$ for months followed by 48.99$ for months with 99$ installation fee with 100$ gift card (to compensate for installation) as seen in the Order Summary, she found a obscure reason to invalidate the agreement ADT had me sign with themTo make the story short I felt like being in the movie Idiocracy having to explain that water is good for plants while hearing someone else tell me that Brando was great because it had electrolytesthe conversation lead to being informed that the day try-out period was over and that I would have to pay 75% of the amount of the year contract to get out of the criminal contract In conclusion, this dealing with ADT was misleading - to say the least -from the beginning to the end; pressure tactics called "educating the customer", the technician telling you that he is going to "do me a favor" to make sure you get what you were told over the phone by a sales manager, to simply criminal billing practice billing higher terms than previously agreed upon I was prompted to have to give a star in order to leave the commentI put one star although ADT deserves none

Unauthorized InquiryConcerned about identity theft I was contacted by an ADT representative at the ADT Norcross,Ga locationWhen she (Renee) contacted me we reviewed the quote for serviceShe explained the application process to me saying that they just needed some personal information for their recordsShe also mentioned that credit will not be pulledI agreed to move for with processI started to feel uncomfortable with questions I was being asked such as past addresses, date of birth, social security numberI stopped and asked why was all of this information necessaryShe said it was a new process and assured me nothing would be done with my information and credit report would not be checked Within a few days I received an alert that my credit report had been compromised and an unauthorized inquiry had been madeI was very upset by the deception and potential identity theftI immediately contacted the manager of the branch Trevor and Harrison Monda and they

My history with ADT: 1- Had to wait approximately weeks to get a technician to install the system 2- He failed to install the system (main component or "brain") where I asked him to 3- Tech made a mess drilling holes and trimming wires without cleaning anything up 4- He failed to program one of our key fobs 5- Tech that came to program fob was hours late without even a phone call 6- I later discovered they had connected the system to a switched circuit 7- No signage was left with us as promisedThis had to be sent to us later 8- My alarm started going off randomlyWhen I called for service, they walked me through steps to "reset" the system 9- More alarms go offI had to disconnect the system myself(Apparently I now work for ADT.) 10- I was told that there wasn't a

ADT Agreed to cancel contract and waive fees They did neither After several calls and months they cancelled account then charged $fees ADT Agreed to cancel contract and waive fees They did neither After several calls and months they cancelled account then charged $fees Account was originally cancelled in February ADT agreed account was supposed to be cancelled on Feb Finally cancelled on July They told me they would be issuing me a credit on my account I instead received a bill for $without explaination After more calls and hangups from their support number, they told me I was responsible for the balance because the new home owner did not establish an account I was told on previous calls I was to receive the waived fee and credit to my account

ADT IS "NOT ALWAYS THERE" HAVE NO CONCERN FOR THE CUSTOMER ISSUES SUPERVISOR JUST TOLD ME SHE CANNOT CALL ME BACK LATER BECAUSE SHE HAS KIDS TO PICK UP HER MANAGER IS OFF FOR HOLIDAY HAS NO IDEA WHO TAKES OVER AFTER SHE LEAVES...REALLY?? ALWAYS THERE?? WE ARE MAKING OUR OWN REPAIRS AND LOOKING TO DROP ADT AND THEY CAN CARE LESS [redacted] YOU ARE A HORRIBLE SUPERVISOR REPS GAVE ME BAD INFORMATION I AM DONE

ADT assured that a year contract was transferrable with any moveThey now insist on a new contract due to a move or face a huge financial penalty I purchased an ADT security system in December with the assurance from their representatives that by signing the contract, which locks you into a year commitment, that if I moved my residence my contract would be transferrableOn Tuesday 9/27/I called ADT to request a move (to another unit on the same property) and was informed that my only option was to enter an entirely new year contract or pay a $cancellation fee for the serviceI am willing to honor my original contract, but as a renter who frequently moves, I feel that being forced to enter an entirely new contract effectively traps me in their system forever Account #: XXXXXXXXX

Nest installation I originally ordered back in march adt pulse services for my brand new townhome Part of the reason why we hired adt was Bc they offered the nest thermostat to go alongWith their security service The installer and electrician came to our home which has a brand new hvac unit after we paid dollars upfront for installation and equipment The electrician blew a fuse and could not even get the nest to turn on and then installed a generic thermostat and left The local office then declared that my home was not compatible with the product which was a lie and was false Our home is brand new and we confirmed with the hvac company that the nest is compatible Adt insisted it wasn't over two months of long phone calls and not returned phone messages from several customer service reps Finally I got someone to agree and come back out but the local office wants to charge me another dollars for an electrician This is unacceptable as the first electrician
