ADT security services will not pro-rate out of service time on billing

ADT is a terrible service, that no one should be using They came set it up with just a few sensors, and tried to sell me more I canceled within weeks, they came back and put more sensors in, and we did another contract The installer also said that I needed an antenna to help with the signalI never received that antenna, so I never armed my alarmNow they want me to pay $for no serviceThese people are a rip off

adt has been billing and getting paid for years on a fraudulent contractsometime ago adt did a control modification at our house and was told had to sign stating I understood the action of the boxI did and then was told I singed that as a contract when it stated right on the paperwork it was a rider to go with the original contractthey tried flip flopping that on me alsoI never signed the contract someone else did sent them copies of my signature my drivers license our lease,tried to do the paperwork they sent did not understand so called to see if they could send me a sample of the affidavit lady got mad and hung up on meI was a payee on the original ladies paper work for this contract and advised them of her loss of income it got ugly and then they started on mepayments were auto pay from her account so never realized the contract was not validI packed there equipment and asked for a return label have not received it eitherI have photos of shabby install job and ser

The following is a timeline of events for account XXX-XXX-XXX:
Aug 31st, alarm system installed, we discovered the system wouldn't meet our needsThe door chime was not loud enough when a door was openedAlso, the phone apps as well as the moveable keypad were not allowing us to arm the system
Sept 1st, Michelle informed our Sales rep, Rob *** of the problems and that this system wouldn't meet our needs even if it did workHe said that ADT has another system that would work for us and that he would have a scheduler call us to schedule for sometime between Sept - 8th since we were leaving on vacation Sept 9th
Sept 7th, ADT calls and informs us that a tech would be coming out on Sept 8th, ADT never called to schedule this time and Michelle had to cancel a PT appointment for our son to accommodate

I have been with adt since and have been paying them monthly to monitor my security system There was a system error and they never told me
I was informed today 03/16/by Steven XXXXX that due to a system issue that occurred at least years
They have been unable to actually monitor the account, however they continued to bill me for monitoringIn short Adt took $per month from me for years service that they knowingly couldn't provide due to this service issueLastly I had communication with Adt during this for battery replacements etc, however at no time was I made aware they were technically unable to monitor my security system due to a system issue

I have had problems from the beginning with ADT The original estimate to install my system was way off, costing me twice as much as was quoted When I cancelled the service, the company failed to enter the cancellation and continued showing one of the systems on my property as active, months after I paid the early termination fee I have been unable to get the issue resolved in spite of repeated calls over several months Will never use ADT again or recommend it to anyone I know

The worst ever Do yourself a favor and just don't sign up with them!

I have been with ADT since 2010- My account Number is XXXXXXX and I originally signed a year agreement with them and that contract expired On 2014, I had an installer come in and also work on the keypad and sensors since the alarm was not working properly I let ADT know that I wanted to be on a month to month contract I called several times throughout and that the alarm was not working properly and they assured me that everything was fine on their end on March 2016, I called to let them know that I sold my home and the alarm never worked properly anyway and that I wanted to cancel the contract and they assured me on several occasions that I was on a month to month contract and there would be no fees I asked them if they could email me something in writing and they said they were unable to do this I let them know that I want to be certain that it would be a balance because I would have the new owners reimburse me f

The installer told me I would have thirty days to decide if I wanted to keep service

Needed to gain access to remotely view our security cameras had to call times just to get a rep out and when he finally came out he said he was the wrong rep we needed a service rep not a sales rep This company is a complete joke I called ask to speak to a supervisor the rep said there wasn't one on the floor and laughed that I didn't need one just needed to schedule a new rep to come outI was hung up on transferred multiple times every time I called with each rep not knowing anymore than the rest

I've been alarmed (no pun intended) by a recent set of unsatisfactory customer service experiences I have tried to get answers to simple questions from ADT I tried calling customer service, looking at my online account, scoring the ADT website, asking a technician A month or two ago, I tried to ask for a quote over the phone, and the woman asked me why I wanted smoke alarms for a three story house instead of one I was promised that a sales person would call me and I never got a call Before I completely disable the alarm and start from scratch with another company, I thought I'd try this final attempt at a remedy
