Cancelled service in August Continue to bill credit card monthly

I have been a customer of ADT since It was good up until about year ago (merged with *** then?) Since there Customer service has become deplorable!
The average wait time to call just to obtain a service appointment is 30-minutes Service appointments set up often end up as "no shows" with the company telling you that they tried to call However, in checking the number they called (my cell phone next to me all day) there were no missed calls, no messages
This has not just happened once Once I'd understand, but over the last year, I've had FOUR occasions where I've either sat home for the four hour service window I was given to realize they just didn't show up!
This company no longer values its customers They have changed from being customer focused to one that is minimally staffed, one that does not have a customer service department that responds to customer's needs, and one that when you call in, the ONLY WAY to get a person to speak with is to choose the option that your alarm is going off Otherwise, always expect to be put on hold
I've given them a number of chances I've written to Corporate Customer Service I've spoken to supervisors and managersbut nothing has changed I currently pay for a maintenance agreement, but they are delinquent and non-compliant in providing the maintenance I'm done with them

Why is ADT security an A+ rated company? Why is Revdex.com cutting them a slack? they have total customer reviews out of which are negative and are positivethey also have total customer complaints? What do you have to mess up to not be an A+ company? Please help me explain it

After many years of being an ADT customer I called on 6/20/ to cancel my service at my address located at *** *** *** *** ** XXXXX After ten to fifteen minutes of relentless sales pitches trying to get me to remain a customer, I was finally told that a day notice was required and that I would be billed for another month even though my service was disconnected I was charged for that month On 7/I was charged $again for another month and when I called I was told that the cancellation order never went through They have refused to refund the erroneous charge and their customer service reps are very rude

I have attempted to cancel my contract by phone, in writing, and by fax before midnight on the 3rd day of signing said contractADT refused

I purchased the basic package from the Safe Home dealer, the salesman walked me through the process and contract, told me about the prorated charge for the month and was pretty helpful and friendlyThe technicians took about and a half hours when the sales guy said it would only take an hour and a half but other then that it was fineI guess it really depends on the dealer that you go throughI checked with http://www.diyhomesecurityguide.com before I decided to go with ADT

The account is in my mother's name, *** *** cr XXXXXXXXX, we had their service from October 23rd to January 27th We were in a contract and having a lot of problems with the service that weren't being fixed, alarms were waking us up all the time, it went off every time we left the house and we'd have to come all the way back home just to find it was a alarm, they're supposed to call every time it goes off so they can get you help and they eventually stopped even calling when it went off so had it been a real emergency and not alarms we'd have never got help, and lastly during installation a large hole was left in my wall and when we said something to the guy about it he acted like it was no big deal and said "you can just patch it", a whole side of the electrical box is exposed to the point where it's loose and can't be used anymore because when you try

Alarm keeps going off for the garage door
We had our system updated after years of service We wanted the house, garage, and an additional building in back yard to have up to date system When the new system was set up, we were told the building in the back yard was too far from the monitor to be covered This was not a problem with the old system The garage door alarm has gone off several time since new system was set up A service man was here on Aug2nd or 3rd to replace the device on garage door He only replace the piece on the door and not the piece on the door frame Police have been sent to the house after we have left the house because of the alarm going off This problem has to be fixed Not only do I want the garage alarm fixed but I want the building in the set up on the system I cannot reset the alarm because the system says I have a fault at door I am now missing half a days work

I had ADT servers for years at a house located at *** Lothian MD Unknown to me, me system stop reporting sometime in ADT NEVER notified my the system could not be contacted Going in for a routine check revealed alarms going offWiring had failed in my phone system so the system could not contact ADTI cancel my phone service, I contacted ADT and canceled my service I later spoke with someone on the phone at ADT whom told me my written notification was not enough and she sent me a form which I returned During this entire time ADT continued to bill me for services even though they could not provide the services Now they which to collect a sum of but when I canceled it was the beginning of a service period and I owed nothingThey have fraudulent practices and failure to notify customers when there are issues in their connections to systems

ADT sales promised services would include garage door remote operation app, but did notDrilled hole in wall to install keypad then left unfixed
8/3: ADT came over to install their Pulse security system that was supposed to include a keypad, several sensors, a phone app that would allow remote access, monitoring capabilities, and an interface with the garage door that would allow remote control of the garage doorThe salesman (Donald - ***) who initially came over did NOT verify compatibility between their system and my garage door When they came over for installation, they found that the two were incompatible This would have been an annoyance, but unfortunately they had already drilled a large hole in my wall to install the keypad We had to cancel the installation because of the garage door incompatibility, and were hoping that ADT would repair the damage to the wall since they did not get the installation correct Unfortunately, they left with large holes in the w

ADT has been one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with
My system has had problems and hasn't worked for out of the last three years
They only cared, when my contract was about to expire after the three year mandatory window period
They call to the point of harassment to get me to keep from terminating my contract
Tried to scam me out of another bucks for new upgrades to my " old" three year equipment
Terrible communication, and long wait periods when you try to get service out

I had an incident in front of my house where my neighbors car got broken intoHeard noises at night in front of the house but when I looked in for the camera recording, system was failing and not recording at all In the morning one of the cars windows was smashed
I have informed them of the incident and it was confirmed by them after reviewing it on their end
The supervisor himself gave me $credit
I expressed my dissatisfaction of the amount and their response I am paying $a month to protect my house and my family and they were not able to deliver on the contract promise or the service that I am paying for $a month Plus a large amount of down payment
I request $credit or a cancellation of the contract without any further obligations
Please help me out to resolve the issue with ADT which failed to fulfill their part of the contract and deliver protection and security to my family and property

I do not even know how these people are allowed to scam people into contacts the way they doI called to get cameras on my home, I already had my system for two years, and what I was told by the sales representative named *** *** was that I was signing my WORK ORDER, but what I actually agreed to was another 24-month contract and a higher bill !!!!! READ everything you are signing!!!! These people are professional scammers!!!
Also, I was referring my parent to get a system and *** said that we would both get a $Visa gift card for the referral and a $Visa gift card for a "promotion" (which was a complete lie) they were running that weekendWe NEVER received any Visa gift cardsHe also promised my parents the cheapest system which was supposed to be $a month because they were going to pay quarterlyAGAIN another LIE because their bill is $a month and he locked them in for months as well!!! *** *** is a disgusting person and a liar; I hope he goes to *** for what he has done to me and my family and for what he has probably done to many other innocent people!!! I have called multiple times to get it fixed and every representative gives me the runaround, no one will help fix the problem

Worst experience everUnreliable and irresponsible serviceEven for urgent matters you have to wait on line for at least minutesAnd because ADT was not able to pick up my phone call within a few minutes as stated clearly to me the police was dispatchedWhen you tried to explain no one at ADT cares to take any responsibilityI have been with ADT for almost years and they will not consider your loyalty if something goes wrongI decided to leave this companyEven your alarm goes off now you will be asked to press then then and wait foreverThink twice if you want professional and timely service
