On February 9, 2016, I made a payment to ADT in the amount of $ This payment covered a five month period (Oct 2015-Feb 2016) of past due payments Now, my account has a zero balance and they are refusing to fix my alarm system and monitor my home because they haven't received an updated contract from me Please beware that I have already paid for services for the month of February In short, I paid service that I'm not receiving

I called ADT on 02/28/and requested to cancel my service as well as paid my account in full $ Today 04/04/I received in the mail a PAST DUE bill for $ I immediately called the number and told the agent that I cancelled and paid the outstanding bill on 02/28/so why am I receiving a PAST DUE bill The agent checked the notes and confirmed that I did call and cancel and that a payment was made on 02/28/ However, this agent transfers my to their collection department where I spoke to a Cornelious who stated that my payment was made on the 2/28/however no record was made to cancel I ask to speak to a Supervisor so I'm transferred to a rude Supervisor named Deanna who says I lacked communication and verified my payment but would not resolve the issueShe stated she would cancel by service as of today 04/04/and I would be responsible for the balance even though this was an error on ADT part I stated that my account should be at a zero balance and c

I just got a absolute joke of an emailADT is taking my monthly rate up over $bucks a year! They just created $318.3MM in yearly profit w a price increase to 7mm customers!! months after Apollo Private equity bought the company, are justifying this b/c they revamped the call center and built an app?? I could get a Stanford undergrad to build me an app for $10k dollars! Call center: that means more automation, job losses and efficiency and higher profit margins (prob pays for its self)you would think they would pass cost saves on to customersNOOO, they want to increase prices, increase corp profit margins, automate process, fire employees (redundancies), pay down debt, increase their equity value and re-trade the company for a massive profit in a few yearsguess who gets screwedcustomers and employees

ADT is charging us a fee for discontinued services that we were put in "contract" that they merely updated and not upgraded
We started with BRINKS SECURITY with contract that we have satisfiedThe company was bought by broadview then ADTAll the features of the original security remained the same (wireless, basic, doors chime, no window sensors)An agent came to our door and we were told that they just needed to UPDATE our systemThey changed the panels but still the basic manual operation, just different styleWe've been told that we are not under contract because nothing was UPGRADEDWe remained with this type of security system for yearsIt is when we decided to change company that we found out we were put under contract after that UPDATEWe decided to change because our system shut down but we didn't received any calls from them that we were disconnectedWe were dissatisfied with the service and answers we got when we inquired why there were no calls made to warn

ADT is a JOKE!- When I signed up for home services I was told that I could sign up for a year contractA year later when I moved, I was told that I would have to Re-Start my contract over and I would be in a year contract and the ONLY way to get out of the contract was to pay 75% of the contract My advice to anyone living in a one year lease is to NOT Use ADT servicesThe last thing I would like to say about ADT is that, they will offer you a $Gift Card, but beware; the Gift Card is going to cost you $to receive itADT YOU SUCK! ;

I looked into using ADT for my home security systemWhile the sales representative that I spoke with was very friendly, ADT has several extra hidden fees and were sneaky in how they handled my financesAfter hearing the sales pitch, I said that I wanted to think about it before committing to their productThe sales rep asked for my credit card information to do a "pending" transaction so that my price would be locked at the price we negotiatedI made sure that this charge would not be posted to my bank account, but that it would remain pending until I called back to purchaseThe sales rep confirmed thisHowever, within the next couple days, they had actually charged my accountIt was not a pending transaction at allWhen I called to cancel that charge and get my money back (since I did not ever use their services or products), it took an extensively long phone call with the call being dropped a couple times, numerous transfers to different people, and overall a very large hassleWith not even using their product or services, they were dishonest about the financial aspect and the feesI expect this manner of business would have continued had I actually used their product

Upon signing a contract our sales rep has us a writer stating that if we want to get out of the contract we could we told him my house was foreclosing
We told the rep our house was foreclosing and he wrote us a writer to get out of the contract and told us to call customer retention and they would have us fax a letter of indigence and we could get the cancellation fee waivedUpon cancelling the contract due to my house foreclosing and all the paperwork being left in the house due to the bank changing the locks ADT said said yes we could do that get the fees waived if we sent in the fax proving the situation, we did twice they claim they never got itFaxed a 3rd time never heard back - they snatched the money out of the account without warning after being told by not only the sales rep to get the sale but also but customer retention who gave us the information on who to fax and where and what was neededWe called after the money was taken and spoke to a gentleman who said the money

I have contacted ADT inquiring about servicesI was told I have to sign a minimum of two years contractI explained I'm renting here and will be moving in a year so I was unwilling to sigh a two year contractDeclined services! Several day later a representative from ADT named *** *** comes to my door saying he has the authority to connect my ADT service for one year contractWhich I agreedToday, a year and a month later I'm calling ADT to cancel my service as I'm moving- I'm told I had a year contractUpon reading the double length contract pages now I see how he didn't point to me and just lied where it TYPED the number of months the contract is forPLEASE read your contracts before signing and don't let representatives like Mr *** lie and very conveniently bypass *** typed in months of contract in the bottom left corner of pages of contractI remember specifically asking Mr *** about the length of the contract as I was signing and told me it was one year term!

I had ADT in ***I relocated to***, and I was told if I moved to another location to move my ADT services as well in order not to be penalized

I am moving and upon calling ADT to cancel my service, I was told I will be forced to pay 75% of the remaining contract fees, which amounts to $ I cannot transfer the system to the place I'm moving, so I have to choice but to pay the exorbitant fees or have debt collectors hounding me and my credit score lowered by refusing to pay Unethical and despicable I will never again deal with this company And with only positive reviews and negative reviews I'm amazed this company could have an A+ rating Shame on you Revdex.com

I have been a customer of ADT for over years, including AT&T whom they been acquired from, and Security Link I pay for monthly monitoring service Over the years their rates have increased substantially For the past few months, I have received numerous flyers from them advertising a $monthly rate for new customers I was told by them that this was only for new customers However, for my last 3-monthpayment, I paid them $instead of the customary $ I receive calls telling me my account is past due I explain to them why I paid what I didI was told I would have to speak with a supervisor, and each time was put on holdThe line always gets disconnected Since then, I have again been told to hold I ask to have someone call me back"We do not have that capability." "But you called ME!" And their reply: "That's not how it works." I need to cancel my account with them, but

paid for service for an entire year and was not protected by the company they had no contact with our system and did not tell us.same as above they owe us for all the months we had no service at $a month
