ADT came to my home months ago and I purchased what I thought and was told to be a year contract for alarm service on a temporary residence (I had been with them for years at a prior address, *** *** *** *** *** All was good until I stopped service at my temporary address ** *** *** in *** *** and ADT said then that I had a year contract which I disputed but reluctantly agreed to a negotiated smaller amount and I assumed was overADT has continued to bill me in the meantime and just sent me a letter stating that the monthly rate was going upI had assumed that my service was stopped yet they continued to withdraw money from my account! They are supplying service to no one yet they continued to charge my credit card

have three cameras one faces east and one faces west
west camera records video's and the east records video's both record the same streetthe third records the back entrance and seems OK

This place is the biggest joke of allFor the last months we have been trying to cancel automatic payments, because they auto drafted payments in one monthEvery time we've called they claim that they have removed us from auto payments, but to our surprise they auto draft the payment at the end of the monthI will never and I mean never renew or use ADT again in my life timeAll they want is your money and that's all they care about!!!!

I had home alarm services with ADTI moved, and set up service in my new homeI rented out my previous home, and the tenants set up service with ADT for the existing systemWhen there was a problem with the alarm at the rental house, ADT did not resolve the attendant billing issue to my satisfactionThey were careless and I feel dishonest in their approach to resolution and customer service, so I decided to close my account with ADTI contacted them in writing and told them to close the accountA month later I received a bill for current servicesI told them in writing AGAIN that the account was closed.The final notice I sent by certified letterAgain they presented me with active service billsThis happened a third timeI called ADT and the agent said "she didn't get the letter"The account was finally closedAbout months later a collection agency contacted me trying to collect on an amount ADT was asking forI told the collection agent that I had told ADT IN WRITING

I tried to cancel my account with said company and was unable to because they don't except my reason for wanting to cancel: Because I no longer want ADTI was on the phone for over minutes with Jennifer who kept asking me why when I gave her my answerMe stating I no longer want the service should be sufficient and I should not be subjected to constantly being questioned over and over with the same resultI also should not have to endure trying to be persuaded to keep the service when I've made my decisionThe monthly billed amount is automatically deducted from my financial institution and the only way to stop it is through ADT or I can pay a fee to stop payment (not a total guarantee) which I think is ridiculous

We just had an amazing experience with ADTWe've been customers for years with no problemsOn Saturday our system just froze, no beeps...nothing Called on Sunday to get technical help The ADT rep on the phone had us try a couple of things to no avail We were able to set up an appointment for the next morningGiven an 8-12:window Ernie called around 8:and arrived in minutesHe was polite, knowledgeable, checked everything (including all door and window connections) and determined that our circuit board was goneWith new board we needed an updated keypad The rep from the Sunday phone call had made a note that we were long-time customers Unlike our cell phone/satellite company, ADT takes very good care of loyal customers and Ernie was able to give us a great deal on the service call and equipment They certainly earned our continued loyaltyErnie was fabulous and we so appreciate his help and ADTs great service

first off, the marketing group quoted me a price for all windows and doors on my first floor but when they came to the hosue, it only covered windows and there were several additional windows and a second door all which tripled the original quoted priceNext , they raised the monitoring monthly fee twice in months from the original policyi had signed a year contract and then was transfered for my job so wanted to cancel the remaining contractthey insisted I pay for the next months even though service was endedi had paid for all installation fees, all uquipment fees and new account fees in full at beginning so only had the monitoring feeThey insist I pay the monitoring fee for another months with the service endedthere is no loss to them since I paid everything up front for servise set up, equipment and installationmonths of now service is rediculoushow about a omonth penalty fee for closing contract early but months is simply a rip offthey were rude on the phone when I asked them to compromisei will never do service with them againi have been a landlord for years and have had tenants who needed to leave before their contract was up - due to life circumstancesi simply asked them to pay month rent to give me time to find another tenanati would never had told them to pay me for the remaining months or what ever was left on their year lease even though they had vacated the premisesADT is not customer focused in doing this

I inquired about a new system.I told them NOT TO RUN my credit.They said ok but asked for my address & DOB and they said I was approved.Very DECEITFUL
Called on 06/14/about a possible new system I told them that I was going to shop around not just with them but with other companies They said OK The man also wanted to run my credit to see if I was qualified for a system I said I did not want to give him my SS# He said fine but when setting up the in home presentation he needed of course my address He also asked for my DOB (which I thought was unusual but gave it to him any way He then said to me "congratulations you were approved" I said did you just run my credit? He said yes and informed my that it was a hard inquiry on my recordI asked for a supervisor When the supervisor got on he said I supplied my DOB and address and that their was nothing he could do I have worked very hard to get good credit and do not want people to just run my credit for informatio

They have an outdated and overly difficult cancellation policy to ensure that you are stuck with the serviceI canceled the service in August of this year, and they told me I would have to wait a month for it to take effectLo and behold we are in the month of October and they are saying that my account is still active They are basically a scam at this point
