This company is only getting a star because I cant give no stars
I called to cancel my account and after going through all of the information I get told my name isn't on the accountI told my husband so he could do itHe calls and the rep tells him that the account is cancelled and no more charges will be processed through my bank accountMy bank account is charged again so this time we call them togetherTurns out the rep he spoke to didn't cancel the account and put in the notes that my husband was unable to verify the password on the account and was yelling so she couldn't help himThen we are told there is a day notice that must be given to cancel an account & that this information is written in our contract (i have searched all of the paperwork we were given as well as online account & legal information) and I can not seem to see anywhere that states there is any minimum notice that must be givenI told the rep the charges were unauthorized and needed to be refunded and was told giving them the card information for the payments was authorizationI then explained that cancellation of the account made the charges unauthorizedWe were told a manager would review the recordings of our calls (not really sure why) and call us back in about an hour but that our account was cancelled as of that dayJust looked online today to see there is a new bill and the account is still not cancelled (took my bank info out after last charge went through)The rep wouldnt let us talk to the manager and just kept repeating that since our cancellation was never processed (even though the notes stated the calls were to cancel the account) and I gave them my card information they were well within their rights to continue charging me for services I no longer wanted

ADT is nowhere to be found when you have actual emergency and the alarm goes off An intruder set my ADT house alarm off, and ADT didn't even phone me for minutes to see what the problem was Meanwhile I was scared, ran to the street for safety There, I called ADT customer service, which hung up on me Got a neighbor to help me instead When I complained to ADT later that week, it never investigated its own service failure, endangering customers ADT's only response is to threaten more fees if you cancel

ADT, refuses after multiple calls to stop billing my credit card.They are stealing money from me and who knows who else.Speaking to ADT on the phone is an absolute joke, they can't figure out why the keep getting paid, even after I explain to then that this was set up as an automatic debt to my Chase account.I suggested they stop billing Chase, and Chase would stop paying them my money !As I have asked ADT to cancel my account multiple times !I will not recommend this company to anybody on earth, or on the space station !ThanksBill

I called adt security services to get my back on my *** credit card I first called feb to cancel my account
A person told me that I would receive back on my credit card
In two weeks tops I have called more time and nothing
Is happing it is March and nothing is happing please

Sales associate lied about what type of credit checks they do
I was looking to reset a Blu services at the home that I just moved into and a sales associate I spoke with asked for my birthday and last of my Social Security number before I gave her this information I specifically asked if it was going to be a hard or soft inquiryIf it was going to be a hard one I would not have given her my information and she told me that it was a soft inquiry so I gave her my informationThen I can alert from the credit bureau saying that there was a new credit inquiry put onto my credit report I called customer service they told me that ADT would take care of it and gave me another number to callI spoke with *** who says that he is a Lead Supervisor and the customer service department explain the situation to him and he said that he could only coach the employee and he couldn't remove the hard inquiry off of my reportI asked him why he couldn't remove it and he told me because I was still

ADT failed to cancel service as requested
On June 25, I called ADT to cancel service because I had chosen to use Xfinity Home insteadDuring the call, I asked for two things - to cancel service, and to immediately ignore any alarms associated with our system because of the hardware change-out taking place Clearly, the second request was honored because there have been no alarms Apparently, however, the cancellation request was not logged because there has been another deduction from my checking account for service I called to inquire and was reminded ADT has a 30-day cancellation lead time, so one additional charge after June is legitimate However, the representative on the call said that my original cancellation request was not logged, so the 30-day cancellation window starts today - setting me up for another monthly chargeI feel this is inappropriate My service address is Goose Creek Ct Indianapolis In XXXXX

ADT customer service for existing customers are so terrible that they will treat you like an unwanted person because you are an existing customer
ADT customer service is so horrifying that I have been receiving different responses every time I spoke with representativeWhen you say that you would like to complain you were going to treat like an unwanted alien on this globeOne representative will tell you one thing and then you will get completely different information from another representative and finally when you say that you're on Revdex.com they will tell you that oh you spoke with our customer loyalty department before and I can see notesSo who is providing correct information? all other representatives I have been speaking since last hours said that there are no notes I have been with ADT since 06/from one of their partner ( blue light security) with years contractI have been calling ADT since last days to find out what options do I have with my existing servic

On 04-15-i called adt complaining about the adt pulse system is to loud and that I was having trouble with a man that is stalking in apartment across from me, I did not want him to know when I come and go through the alarm loudness when I set it to away or come in, So I requested to rep name Raynard that I would like to have the quick connect system installed, I explained why and stated to Raynard that the Quick connect was wonderful and that when we put code on away it toot toot and count down silently gives us chance to go out the door before it goes off, Raynard set date on 04-20-16, with tech Daniel which was a differnt tech named Mathew that I complained about a almost year ago I requested do not send mathew, His services was bad now and then, I called complaning about the service have done Mathew done,And superviser set me up with the original guy on 04-21-16, everyone of them assured me that that was the Quick connect alarm security they installed, I called on =05-26-comp

Cancelled service continued to have payments deducted from checking account
In May I called ADT to cancel my service When asked why I stated I was having financial difficulty The Representative offered months continued service for free since I was a ling time customer I advised the Representative that I would like to be contacted by mail at the end of the free service to advice them if I wanted to reinstate my account I also advised I want to terminate the auto pay from my checking account I was not contacted further by ADT after that call Last month while doing my taxes I noticed that ADT continued to deduct payments from my checking account after I requested the auto pay terminated I called ADT 1/22/to advise I had cancelled my account and terminated the auto pay I requested the payments deducted without my permission to be refunded to me The Representative placed me on hold and after minutes the call dropped Since I had already gave my reason for

EXTREMELY UNETHICAL SALES TACTIC
We recently purchased a new home & have had the same guy from ADT stop twiceThe first time I was home but was on a business call and unable to answer the door"Dave" proceeded to slip an envelope thru the crack of the door to the point that it was basically in the house with a new homeowner special flyer on itI don't think forcing things into someone's home is an ethical way of delivering information
Then, he showed up again tonight for a 2nd visitThis is the one that really frustratedI answered the door and he smiled and introduced himself as Dave from ADT and asked if I was the homeowner while sticking his hand out to shake extremely far almost to the point it was in my faceI immediately told him that I wasn't interested in ADT's services but thanks for stopping byAt that point, he kept his hand out and a big smile and said "Don't you think it's important to protect your home and your family?" I told him that I was all set and didn't appreciate the scare tactic sales pitch
Don't let Dave scare you into purchasing something like thisDo some research and decide for yourself

Unreliable alarm serviceThe smoke detectors where not properly checked when we moved into the house, and turned on out of the blues at am!
We contracted the security services of ADT when we moved into the new house months ago and we supposed alarms, carbon detectors, cameras were checked and ready to work properly We were wrong and found out in the most annoying manner waking up suddenly at 4:am to the disturbing sound of the alarm and smoke detectors in the houseUnfortunately nobody from the company offered to show us how the system worked when we moved, so we couldn't stop the noise, also we didn't know the pw so when we tried to stop the alarm we couldn'tWell we ended up waking up everybody in the house at 4:I called ADT people at 4:and somehow managed to stop the alarm and we settled up an appointment with a technician for the next dayWhat was the surprise when we found out that not only the batteries of smoke detectors were expired but also the machiner

I recently found out that my contract with ADT is for years However, my last contract was for only months and all I did was move to NC
I have been with ADT for over years I signed up with them and was told that because I was a USAA member, I was to get a special rate and my contract was for months So when my contract ended last year, I waited until I relocated to NC in June and had them move my service to my new address Having previously had an month contract and being told by the representative that everything would stay the same and they would take care of the move, I never realized that they used a standard year contract to complete my service I signed it and never notice the sentence saying it was a year contract because the representative indicated that I was getting the same service, which I believed was an month contract and the special rate I live in rental property, it is unreasonable to believe that I was going to live out a year contra

Trying for months to cancel service and steadily being charged $60/month, currently paid $with no cancellation and no alarm system
My alarm system has not worked for YEARS! I finally was frustrated with multiple attempts to correct service and decided to cancel service months ago! The customer service agent begged me to give ADT last chance and stated that I would not be charged for repair and quoted me a reduced price for continuing serviceThe repair person sent could not repair problem but stated that he would return to replace entire systemThat was months ago! He never returned and I was continuously charged the $60/month without the reduced rate I was promisedFed up, I called today to DEMAND that my service be discontinuedI was promised reduced rates, free service for months, etcI still said "No"Finally I was told that service could not immediately be disconnected that it would take another month and another $Thus,I am out out $to cancel service

This company is the worseFirst I got the service it was never disclosed that I was being monitored through a 3rd partyI never spoke with ADT again after the installation because now some company called defenders took overWhen I got ready to move I was told twice to leave my equipment and that I would receive the same equipment at the new residenceWell needless to say when I moved the rep came out told me that when you move you have to sign a new contract run my credit again and the equipment they told me to leave lol received no where near the equipment I had before!! They told me the new contract is for 3yrsWhen I called customer service the manager refused to speak with me on the phone said that there was nothing they could doI kept getting the run around every time I called so I canceled the service of course they made sure to tell me that I'm responsible for 75% of the remaining contractAt this point I really didn't careI would never waste my money with ADT nor recommend the service they are a rip offI am completely happy with the company that I have now and have way more products and features!!
