My complaint is, the representative that conducted the installation of the Pulse Service with ADT generated a two year contract in writing and verballyI notified ADT on June 10, at approximately amThe agent of informed of my issue of my high billHe informed me that my services was discontinued and the additional charges that occurred on my bill was because I broke my contractI advised him that I signed a two year contractHe indicated that ADT only do year contract which I then informed him that is not trueBecause at the time I installed the Pulse Service in my home my year contract was upMy complaint is the representative that came to my house over two years ago verbally conducted my contract for two yearsI feel that ADT is falsely charging me for fees on a three year contract when I signed a two year contrac

After fulfilling my three year contract, I called to cancel our ADT security service Now, I cannot get ADT to stop billing me

I've had it with ADT The worse customer service ever!
I made three appointments and all three times when I called they told me they had no record of any changes to the systemI made arrangements because I was moving I called three weeks before with enough time and still here is one day before moving and no one know anything about my moveAnd mind you, I was given employees ID # and confirmation #
My question is what are they doing while am rattling off my information to them? Because if they were putting in the system there would be a note somewhere that am moving and that they gave me an appointment
How can there be SO many complaints about this company and they still
Get an A+ rating ? They blame the sub contractors they have for installation
But, if I had a house built by (made up name) Bird Home Builders, and as all builders, they hire sub contractors, if the roof falls, who is responsible for the house? They should be on top of everything that is going on in your accountThat's my thought, what do you think?

On October 13, I made a payment over the phone with a customer service representative using my checking accountOn October 24,I was informed by another representative Kira that the payment hasn't been made on the accountEven though I was given a reference number still unable to locate payment, at that moment I was informed to fax over proof that the payment had been draftedI've sent my bank ledger over by email and fax received email confirmation that the documentation had been receivedStill no one has contacted meOn Tuesday November I called bc no one has contacted meThe rep Allen informed me that no one has worked on the case bc no information was received even though I confirmed valid #s and email address

My company has been with ADT for almost a year now, and I must say everyone is professional, friendly, and has answered and handled every concern that we have had, I have been fortunate enough to have been helped by the same technician the two times that was neededAnd I must say that made a big differenceSean Wicks was professional and made sure that everything needed was handledVery friendly and glad that this is who represents ADT out in the fieldIMA GROUP Pensacola

ADT Pulse installed 7/25/2017.Service not working accurately.Called our tech and ADT last night.WE have been given no help and runaround ALL day!

ADT failed to provide service for my account in a timely manner They also failed to respond to my phone call during an alarm in a timely manner meaning the phone was not answered and I was sent into their automated answering system As a result I have cancelled my service They have also explained that I will owe them for days service and a $cancellation fee that I do not recall agreeing to Now they cannot provide me a copy of my contract without a waiting period I consider them to be a very unethical company that has no interest is providing quality customer service In my opinion they have breached any agreement to provide service with me and there should be no penalties for cancelling their service

One week wait for my system to be checked- Failed in Communication
I am a customer of ADT for almost year now primarily because I like the "Peace of Mind"
advertisement this company have usedI have several incidents and they are reliableMy issue started yesterday 1/15/2017- I found out that my system is not working.I was told that if something happens the ADT will not be notified, no police firemen will be notified- so I immediately called to schedule a repair and I was told that they will come out in a week - so much for peace of mind

We contacted ADT Security Services to have a sale representative come to our home and tell us they type of security system they recommend and give us a priceThey gave us an appointment in December but called us from Gainsville FLone hour before our appointment time to tell us that they had double-booked their appointments and would not be able to comeI was upset for later notification, contacted their management team and received another appointment date and time in January At the appointed time, the sales rep did not show upI called minutes after the appointment time; the rep said that he was caught in traffic but was on his wayI asked him what his location was and from what he said, we figured that it would have been another 40, minutes before he could have arrived at our homeWe told him not to bother coming, When I contacted his office and complained about their unprofessional business practice in terms of keeping appointments and being on time, I found out that he told his office that he called us to confirm the appointment when he was on his way, but we told him not to come.I think that when he returned to his office they checked his cell phone for incoming and outgoing calls and figured out that he had lied because a few hour later I received a a call from a regional manager apologizing and asking for another chance to come out to our homeWe decided to do business with another firm because we think that we cannot trust our security to a company which lacks business discipline and employs dishonest people

I have been an ADT customer since I sold my house and moved in Dec As soon as my house was on the market, ADT was calling me asking where was I moving and talking about moving my service I moved my services, but was NOT aware that I was also signing a NEW year commitment with ADT I probably should have read the million word document more, but I would think this is something they would call out OR not even have since I had been a customer the previous years
Fast forward, I began to see better technology on the market and called to find out I was in a year commitment
Fast forward to 6/29/ I was not sleeping due to bad activity in the area I called ADT to ask about adding cameras to my system I was on the phone with the rep, *** ***, for over an hour I explained that the sensors on one of my doors was faulty I explained that in December I asked for sensors on my upstairs windows and their installer advised against it Therefore this call was to 1)add cameras 2)fix the door that was never right 3) install the sensors I requested the first time This entire min he talked about all the discounts he was giving me blah blah blah At the end of the min, he said they could install it July 17th.....unacceptable I said BUT I signed up for that appointment and he said he would call me back after his lunch break to find an earlier appointment.....NEVER heard from him again More than time in this min conversation I asked, "will installing the cameras make me sign a new year commitment"...."no it will not, you are doing an addition therefore you will not sign a new contract" This was said MORE than one time When ADT called the next day to tell me to sign a contract, they also moved my installation up to July 5th I came back early from vacation, asked a friend to stay at the house so I could go to work during the window, AND left work early for the installation Guess what is the first thing the installer said.....you must sign this year commitment before I install WHAT? I asked *** this SEVERAL times and he said I did not need to sign a year contract because it was an addition to my current system The installer verified with his manager I then called ADT only to get the year song and they can't do anything about it I then tried to file a complaint against *** since I had his name....no manager is available they said I asked that they file the complaint and that I expect a response week laterSTILL NOTHING! months is all I have and I PROMISE ADT will not be my security solution They are sneaky, they are not honest, and they are not responsive

First of all I had my service started in August I have never been able to use the system because I have several windows that set off the alarm because when the tech came out he never installed new equipment but used existing equipment, but ADT is trying to charge me an additional $several months later for a permit fee No permit was ever applied for or received and no new equipment was installed that would require a permit I am moving out of my current residence because of financial reasons and moving in with family and ADT will not cancel my service without me paying $ If I just continue to pay for the service that I do not and have never used it would only cost me $why the extra $305.00?
I would never recommend ADT to anyone, infact if anyone asks me I will tell them NOT to use ADT, they are a scam and they have extremely rude people in their customer service department

I moved from my home over a year ago and told ADT I was moving and wanted to cancel my monitoringThey keep saying they are going to cut off service, when if the were really monitoring my system and house they should know that the system is not working and the system is not hooked up.They have been calling and threatening me with a shut down of the monitoring which they should not be hooked up anywayIt has caused me great stress and I already suffer from various health problems like anxiety have known it isn't hooked up for monitoring

started and new account with ADT march 16,November 2, the attached another account on to mineIt was someone from a previous relationship, he hand on passcode or codeThe attached his account to mine and debit my checking account for his installationI was not aware till the debit of my accountI have contacted them times each time I get a guarantee that everything is fixed and my money was refunded and give credit for months serviceBut I still have his contract and still getting invoice for his service, can still see his alarm system on my account
Each person I talk with gives me a different story on how this could happen and he does not have access to ,my security systemNovember 21st my account was debited againwas told that the month credit haven't been applied yet so December and January will be creditNovember 19th they subtracted for november I'm not feeling secure

I switched from a smaller security company to ADT which is a well known companyI have regretted from the startIt takes them far too long to call me once my alarm goes offI have intentionally set my alarm and EACH time it has been 3-minutesToday on 4-16-I was informed by ADT representative who finally called me back minutes following my alarm that due to the high volume of calls it *** take longerThat alone is frightening to think if I am away from home that a burglar would have an extended period before I am called to say yes send the policeI was also informed by a Rep on another occasion that ADT contract with other companiesIf that is the case why go with the name of they aren't doing the workI can't wait until my contract is over I will NEVER use this company againSuch poor service
