It would have been so much less painful if you had had this info available upon request Perhaps you, *** and *** could simply arm your selves with the simple information of the responsible party at each branch so your valued customers don't have to endure what I consider the worst customer service I have ever encountered
I don't personally hold any of you accountable for my experience, but I certainly do hold the company, and the local branch, responsible I am the person responsible for selecting your company for our camera system and I have owned this failure with my business partners We have several other locations for camera systems and will certainly be going in a different direction Your company has no direction, no accountability and the most common answer I received was "we are in Texas and don't have anything to do with the local branch" You do realize that the number I called was a local phone number and had no idea I had been routed to Texas I don't know why you or others would continue your employment as "customer service" with such restrictions How can you possibly provide customer service under these conditions
Just as a side note, you Revdex.com rating is 94% negative Not exactly alone in my dissatisfaction with your company

Just had a ADT system installedIt was very professionalThe subcontractor did try to sell us additional stuff but that was expectedThe key to avoid problems is to double check your order with the salesman before your appointment to avoid miscommunicationsThe installation is more complicated than you might think and having a professional do it seems wiseSo far, we are very happy with ADT and the horror stories about ADT services seem to be distortedCustomers should educate themselves as to what to expect from their security company no matter who it is

I've had it with ADT The worse customer service ever!
I made three appointments and all three times when I called they told me they had no record of any changes to the systemI made arrangements because I was moving I called three weeks before with enough time and still here is one day before moving and no one know anything about my moveAnd mind you, I was given employees ID # and confirmation #
My question is what are they doing while am rattling off my information to them? Because if they were putting in the system there would be a note somewhere that am moving and that they gave me an appointment
How can there be SO many complaints about this company and they still
Get an A+ rating ? They blame the sub contractors they have for installation
But, if I had a house built by (made up name) Bird Home Builders, and as all builders, they hire sub contractors, if the roof falls, who is responsible for the house? They should be on top of everything that is going on in your accountThat's my thought, what do you think?

First customer service person I spoke to screamed at my on the phone, next person hung up on me, finally someone is helping me after I called cryingSave yourself the hassle and look for home security elsewhere

I inquired about a new system.I told them NOT TO RUN my credit.They said ok but asked for my address & DOB and they said I was approved.Very DECEITFUL
Called on 06/14/about a possible new system I told them that I was going to shop around not just with them but with other companies They said OK The man also wanted to run my credit to see if I was qualified for a system I said I did not want to give him my SS# He said fine but when setting up the in home presentation he needed of course my address He also asked for my DOB (which I thought was unusual but gave it to him any way He then said to me "congratulations you were approved" I said did you just run my credit? He said yes and informed my that it was a hard inquiry on my recordI asked for a supervisor When the supervisor got on he said I supplied my DOB and address and that their was nothing he could do I have worked very hard to get good credit and do not want people to just run my credit for informatio

How does a compant receive an A plus review with so many complanits against it? My experience with the security services started with the high pressure sales people who said it was getting late and they weren't allowed to leave without a sale.Then the installation by these professionals took minutes as they put stickers on my windows and some wiresworth of equipment ? No wayDid it ever work ? noWhen I said that I didn't want this service, they said that I could pay for the equipment or the contract amountThe equipment was not returnable so the contract amount (without the service provided) was I still cannot believe that I have to pay for equipment that I don't have and service that I never got and was never prpoperly installed.They came ,they left it in my house and they billed me for nothing more than stickers on my window.Please don't let these slick guys into your housethey aren't your protection services ,they are your wolves in disguise

I am writing this because I have increasingly become frustrated with ADT
I signed up in March when moving into a rental house by myselfI was told I would be locked in to a year contractI said okWhen my job took me to another city months later, I had to moveI called ADT to transfer servicesThey DID NOT tell me that I would be resigning a year contract from that pointSo my first months essentially meant nothing towards my year contractI did not find this out till moving after a year lease was up at my rental house in the new city I moved tooI also had to get more equipment because the tech told me I would have to so I would be safeSales tactics yes but I was strong armed into getting more equipment$a month later I have had poor customer service experience along with being on hold and transferred over and over againRecently the cheap key pad starting beeping all the time so I unplugged itI got a call from ADT about this and I told them something was wrong with the unitThey sent someone out to fix it and DID NOT tell me about a service charge they would be billing meI refuse to pay this when they did not tell me they would be charging thisHow the heck is this customer service? Their equipment battery went out and I was supposed to pay for someone to come fix? NO! Also, when my alarm is going off, they take forever to call the police and notify them hence my house getting broken intoI cant stand ADT, I think they are a dishonorable company with shady sales tacticsI am in SALES and there is zero tolerance for dishonesty DO GO WITH ADT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have scheduled an appointment with ADT, for someone to come and give me a quote, the appointment was from 3pm to 6pmThe guy came minutes early, I was not home, my wife was home and she let him in
My wife called and told me that we have an ADT guy to install the alarmIt took me minutes to get homeAs I walked home, I saw a guy screwing in a panel to a wall (without my expressed permission I should add)
The guy was very smooth salesmen and after he screwed on the panel, then we started to walk around a home and then he gave me a quoteThe quote was (for a sq/f bedroom house) - $Then we "negotiated" down to $He was so smooth, I could not say no to the guyBasically I was royally screwed by a very good sneaky salesman who has pushed the envelope short of criminality
I have called a customer service and explain that I am feeling connedThe lady told me that that I can fax a cancelation form and cancel the accountHowever, after I asked whether this is a common business practice and whether they will be talking to the "salesman" about the whole sale deal, she took off on meShe started by giving me a life lessons how to behave and how I should have said "NO" to the salesman, how I should have "NOT SIGNED" anything if I don't feel comfortableShe may be right (I need to be more of an a$$4ole sometimes), however its not as easy at it sounds
First of all, she should not give me or anyone else any life lessonsShe can keep her lessons for her husbandI did not call her home for an advise
Second of all, not all people as assertive as she is, some people are having a hard time saying "NO"Being a nice guy has its upsidesHowever, being a nice guy (or too stupid some *** say, we can argue about it of course) makes me an easy mark for sneaky sales people and they take advantage of me
And thirdly, buying an alarm system should not be a negotiation gameSome people negotiate better than othersA $system should not be negotiated down to $1700, how this happens with ADT is beyond me?
ADT advertises $credit towards equipment, then give you additional $on top of thatHowever ADT installer (agent) will be calculating a bill for $(for a standard bedroom home) and end up presenting you a $3500bill, unless you are in a negotiating moodIf you are a good negotiator, then its a skills game
While ADT maybe a reputable company, the sales tactics they employ, brings into question their moral and business ethics standardsSo sadI've expected so much from these guys, but I am so disappointed
Completely mismanaged company, with distorted ethical and moral compasses, full of smooth talking con-men working sales and mafia style "wise" customer service ladies giving life lessons for us "stupid" people

We keep getting alarms on the front door They have sent out repairmen three times We had another alarm today There will be a hefty charge from the City When I called to cancel the contract, based on nonperformance, they refused to do so without charging hundreds of dollars for early cancellation They refused to admit it's faulty equipment despite their own recorded history of three previous attempts to fix it I will NEVER, NEVER do business with ADT again Shysters

I have never experienced such incompetency, rudeness and total lack of customer care from a company in my life as I have with ADT This company is one to stay far away from From the aggressive and pushy sales rep who turned out to be worthless in helping me, to the poorly trained technicians, ADT is the worst of the worst! In the years I've been with them I've experienced technicians that "forget" about the appointment, faulty equipment and unresolved alarm issues that are still on-going I truly wish I had done my research and gone with another company When my contract ends I will definitely be switching to a competent security company that cares about its customers

AD&T is a bad faith company that makes it impossible to end the contract when it expires.The tons of complaints on the web match my experience
AD&T requires customers to give 30day written notice if you want to stop their service when the contract expiresWe did that,with separate letters and still they say they didn't get the notice from us to cancelThey also raised the monthly charge even though the contract stated a certain amount.This is the worst company I have dealth with in over years and you are wrong to give them a clean A rating on your site.This company plays a game of making you pay via auto deduct from your checking and they act like it's their automatic cash machine,dinging the account as long as they can and for whatever amount they want to charge.Just look at the complaints on-line and they all mirror my experience.One person put called them Hotel California company where you check in but never can check out.We have finally got them to cancel the contract but

June 1, I moved and had my account transferred to my new address and paid the transfer fee of $
I have paid my bill early each month and have not missed a paymentI have been harassed with telephone calls since June to collect on my old account from my old address, which was supposed to be transferredI have talked with ADT's third party billing company Defenders (Protect Your Home) and they apologized and promised that I would not get another callI have received a few calls from a collection agency and today a bill in the mail from the collection agency for $1,DO NOT USE ADT GO WITH A MORE REPUTABLE COMPANY

I received a check in the mail from ADT for $ Then I received a bill for $stating that my bill for $was overdue by a month I called them and the recording said I had a zero balance I called again and told them we are not getting their bills and we need them to use the correct mailing address, not our physical address They said we could not change anything without knowing our password I can not remember our password They said, "then you can not change your address" How can we be on time, if we never get our bills from ADT? I asked to speak with a Manager and they said there were no Managers available (this was at 10:AM on March 18, 2016) I asked to have the Manager return our call The employee said she would have the Manager call us This was four days ago and we still have not received a call back

I have been an ADT customer since and I am in the process of finishing construction of a new custom homeDuring this project, I figured I would get ADT to pre-install wiring for the security system which they charge $However, they had poor communication with my contractorThey have been late in several appointmentsAnd when they finally installed the system, they did not even use many of the existing wires they preinstalledInstead they placed ugly bulky wireless sensorsSO what's the point of pre-wiring? I also ordered z-wave light switches for my Pulse system which they had a hard time fulfilling (poor supply chain management)

I had a contract with ADT Alarm System for years ending January 19,@ Foxhound Ln., Fort Worth, TX *** and due to health issues My grandson brought me to Fl to be close so could acre of me and got me into a retirement community that I didn't have need of a Security System because I was toldthat they have their OWN Security System so I didn't need the transfer from ADT First I told them to discontinue service as of 6/as I was closing on my house in TX on 6/and leaving TX that night.I was told I must take ADT with me even though I don't need it and they continue to keep the contract open until I pay the $plus $for July's service even though I have not been in the house since June 27thmy first call to ADT I was told that cancellation fee would be waived since I did not request a cancellation fee but transfer I need your help because I live off Social Security and my funds are limited but had to pay them this morning anyway the $plus the $
