THIS COMPANY HAS OVERCHARGED ME, SENT THE POLICE TO THE WRONG ADDRESS, WAIVED MY FEE THEN ADDED IT! I JUST WANT MY ACCOUNT CLOSED
I HAVE BEEN AN ADT CUSTOMER FOR ABOUT MONTHS NOW, WHEN I FIRST GOT THEIR SERVICES I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE $RELOCATION FEE! THEN I MOVED AND THEY SAID THEY NEVER SAID THAT WHICH IS NOT TRUE!!!! EVEN NOW THAT I HAVE MOVED THEY CAME TO INSTALL MY SYSTEM, SOMEONE WALKED INTO MY HOUSE AND THEY SENT THE COPS TO MY OLD ADDRESS! ITS THE WORST SYSTEM EVER! I COMPLAINED AND COMPLAIEND AND TOLD THEM I WANTED MY ACCOUNT CANCELLED AND TO TAKE THE CONTRACT FEE OFF! THEY NEVER RESPOND ON TIME! THEY HAVE STILLLLLLL MY OLD ADDRESS ! HOW GOOD OR SAFE AM I SUPPOSED TO FEEL!! AND AFTER ARGUING SO MUCH! THEY FINALLY DID IT! HOWEVER!!! THEY REFUSED TO TELL ME THEY HAD WAIVED THE FEE UNTIL I GOT MY SERVICES MOVED SO THEY FORCED ME INTO SIGNING A NEW CONTRACT! WHICH WAS NEVER TOLD TO ME IN THE BEGINNING! I HAVE SPOKEN TO A MILLION REPRESENTATIVES AND THEY HAVE SAID TO ME

I wish I could not give any stars My troubles started with a man coming to my house telling me he was a representative with my security system company Vivin He told me that he was updating my service but it turns out he was from ADT and changed my system over to their company from my existing company Vivint I never had any problems with Vivint but since ADT took over my system has not worked I called to cancel several months ago and they told my my contract went until the end of this year I just called again to cancel at the time the last representative said my contract ended and what do you know my contract doesn't end now until and that it would cost $to cancel I figured I would bite the bullet because I would end up paying a lot more than that in fees to ADT over that time frame I was transferred to a representative to cancel She told me it could cost me $to cancelThis is absolutely ridiculous The most dishonest and misleading company The minimum you expect from a security company is trustworthiness

We moved to a new house and set up services on 4/9/under the impression that we were getting the same services we had at the old location-nothing extraThe installer/salesman tried to get us to upgrade with various products however we informed him we just wanted the basic system we had at our old houseI signed the contract under the impression that the basic system we got was a price of a monthhowever when I received my first bill it had numerous products listed that we do not have but were being charged forI spoke to customer service on numerous occasions to have the issue resolvedI spoke to Joel employee number XXXXXX on sunday, april who assured me a manager would contact me the following day to resolve the issue and that I should only be charged a basic package rate of $a monthNo one called so I called back again on Tuesday, april 26th and spoke to maria employee number XXXXX who informed me that a manager

ADT has on numerous occasions billed me erroneously
I have been a long-time customer with ADT, first with a wired system and then with a wirelessSince adding the wireless system, I have had nothing but problemsWhen the wireless system was installed, I provided billing information, however, ADT did not properly bill my account, but instead sent me a late notice threatening to stop my service for lack of paymentI resolve this issue only to have moreThe account is set up for automatic withdrawal, but this hit a snag when I received a new card with a chipI called a gave them a new card number, but they continue to try to bill the old oneIn November, I informed them of my intent to move and cancel my service (I am getting married)I thought the issue had been resolved, but I received another late notice as they again tried to bill my old cardThey also did not cancel my service as requestedWhen I called to complain, I got bounced around to several different numbers bef

Was a customer with them for yrshad a couple of issues issues without any explanation#- our verbal password was changed from a name to a random selection of numbers and letter, without our consentHad to change it back on separate occasions during an alarm event.#- due to a lack of physical phone line, our home was equipped with a GSMevery power outage the gsm would notify adt and in turn meAfter about years, for some unknown reason, the calls stopped or were delayed by several hoursBegan to lose trust in the efficiency of the company at that point#- Decided to cancel October 4th due to some billing issues (not worth mentioning)The rep on the phone informed me that day notice is required, my service will end on November 4th and no fees or dues will be chargedFast forward to December 08thI received a past due invoice from ADT for my monthly feecalled a rep and was told that my account was cancelled November 30thArgued a bit but remained somewhat calm with no availPaid the bill over the phone with hope to never deal with this crooked company againMy advice is to stay away from ADT security

They are continuing to charge me a monthly fee after canceling my service I sold my house notified Adt the new home owner signed a new contract I contacted adt they said I did not give them a day notice I informed the customer service rep he was very rude I explained everything to him so I let him know since we could not get any further with him I will contact the Revdex.com he told me go right ahead so that's what I'm doing now

ADT, bait and switch Read the agreement before signing anything!!! They will try to install the system and then tell you how much you will pay, after or more days, when it is to late to cancel unless you agree to pay the entire amountThey promised me , then charged me a month, two weeks after the installStupid me, the installer told me that I was signing for the equipment that I bought, not the service portionREAD THE AGREEMENT FirstDo not sign until you agree with the charges

Upon signing a contract our sales rep has us a writer stating that if we want to get out of the contract we could we told him my house was foreclosing
We told the rep our house was foreclosing and he wrote us a writer to get out of the contract and told us to call customer retention and they would have us fax a letter of indigence and we could get the cancellation fee waivedUpon cancelling the contract due to my house foreclosing and all the paperwork being left in the house due to the bank changing the locks ADT said said yes we could do that get the fees waived if we sent in the fax proving the situation, we did twice they claim they never got itFaxed a 3rd time never heard back - they snatched the money out of the account without warning after being told by not only the sales rep to get the sale but also but customer retention who gave us the information on who to fax and where and what was neededWe called after the money was taken and spoke to a gentleman who said the money

in my, now estranged partner and I bought a house in *** *** ** *** *** *** *** We purchased ADT services for home monitoring In June of we separated, sold the house and now live separately I called ADT to cancel our services but was told that the service could not be cancelled and the remaining payments on the contract would have ro be paid off So now the house is sold, I no longer live there but continue to pay for security services that I am not receiving I am on a fixed income I was not made aware of a policy that would require me to continue to pay for services not received If it was written in the contract (which I no longer have) it was not pointed out to me

I had a large system installed in my house for which I paid a second installation fee since I relocated from another state where I already had ADT installedDuring installation their technician fell and put a huge hole through my ceilingThey informed me they would send someone to fix itFew days later to my surprise I received a phone call from ADT's insurance company telling me I had to find a contractor and obtain a quote that they would review and decide if to agree so I could get my ceiling fixCustomer support is hideous and unprofessionalIf they damage the property during installation they will not follow through to repair it, they will pretty much leave it up to you and just cut a check through an insurance companyThey won't even further discuss the matter with you but rather just defer to their insurance company

I was promised equipment that I never received and I did receive horrible customer service
When I purchased my first home in June a sales representative came to my home to sell me adt servicesI decided to purchase the alarm security system since I was not living in the home at the timeI was promised by adt sales agent cameras were going to be installed in my home at no cost out of pocket.I was told to call back once Internet was installed and I was ready to have cameras brought to my home
I called adt once I was settled into my home only to be advised that my account was transferred and that I can no longer receive what was promised to me and written in a contract
Not only was I lied to by Adt but the customer service Representative that I spoke with was very unprofessional telling me that her manager didn't have the time to take my call to address my concerns no customer should be treated this way

Terrible company! Horrible customer service! Back in April of I called to get a home security system installed in my home which I was moving into in June of I explained to the sales rep the layout of my house and how many windows and doors would require a sensor to get the best protection for my homeHe advised me that he would be happy to put in the order, and I picked an install dateOn June 11th the installation tech came to my house without all the equipment agreed on in AprilWhen I asked him about it he advised me that the sales rep had put in an order for a system upgrade and used the info from the existing system which was owned by the previous owners, and did not put in the order as a new customerI was rather surprised by this and said that I would follow up with the sales repThe sales rep, *** called me that same day and apologized for HIS error and proceed to tell me that if I wanted the equipment originally agreed upon with my year commitment then I would need to pay an additional $
On June 15th, four days after the install of the equipment I called to cancel and have the equipment removedAs I was within my day buyers remorse period this should not have been a problemI spoke to someone who confirmed that the order for the cancellation was put through and I would receive a call within hours from the installations department to schedule a date for the tech to come in and remove the equipment
On June 17th, days after the cancellation I called back and spoke to *** who advised me that the cancellation order had not been "approved" but that it would be cancelled as requestedI requested to speak to a supervisor who further confirmed that the cancellation request had been ordered, and then he put me through to installations to set a date to have the equipment removed
On June 23rd, I had a tech come in and remove the equipment, and on the same day I received a bill for months of invoicing!!! When I called the billing department they advised me that an order for a cancellation had NOT been put through! calls and an abundance of time wasted, and not one person had done their job but promised me on several occasions that they had!
On June 24th, I spoke to someone in cancellations who confirmed that an order for cancelling had not been put through, and that he would take care of itI called him at 9:am and as of 9:am all I've received is poor customer service, reps that will tell you anything to get you off the phone, and I am now waiting for yet another phone call from their Sales Department because apparently this is a process to cancel your service!
This has been by far the worst experience I've ever had with any company, and I highly suggest that nobody goes to them for their home security needsThere are 100% better companies out there!!!

ADT provides horrible service I moved on October and cancelled my ADT service I waited for the company to prorate my billOnce I received the adjusted bill, it was paid The ADT past due billing department has been calling me everyday twice a day, since November The past due billing department uses an auto dialer and the rep says they cannot update my account Each time the past due rep transfers me over to the accounts department and each time my account is verified paid in full At that step, I am promised that my records are updated and the calls will cease The calls still continue and have not stopped ADT calls me everyday, sometimes twice a day Today, instead of having the rep transfer me to billing, I hung up and called the number myself The account rep verified that my account has been paid and was closed on October 3rd She also said that the past due department is calling me to collect payment for 2018! My account has been canceled since October This has now become harassment and I feel like they are trying to harass me to a point that I will pay them to go away
