I had ADT for a number of years, in May of my obligation was fulfilled but I kept the service
I November of I received a notice of needed upgradeI made the appointment and took the day from work to meet the techThe tech never showed and when I called I was told that the appointment was not a guaranteed dateI at that point called and requested that my service be endedI was told it would be days, December NOW the end of April 2016, I continue to get charges from ADT and notification of needed upgrade
This should have been canceled LAST YEAR!!!!!!
ADT now says it was cancelled in March and that there is a $balance owedThey are now threatening turning it over to collections
ADT refused to acknowledge that a customer is leaving and continues to invoice unjustly

This business does not protect anything We have had the service for over two years with multiple issues and no one wants to resolve the issue They say that if you want to cancel you have to pay out the term of your contract When you call and speak to a supervisor they dont want to assist you We call and speak to someone in the customer service department at corporate and they state that they are the final word on what goes one When you ask to speak to someone above them they refuse to assist you This is the worst security company out there and do not recommend them to anyoneThere is no resolution to anything and they don't want to help the consumer at all

I originally searched online on Aug 4th for information on the security service when someone called to schedule an install The gentleman on the phone said that since I had an existing security system they would give me an $equipment credit then a second credit for $since my birthday was coming He said that they would give me a $Visa gift charge to offset the installation charge of $(I did not know that there would be 2/$charges) Also he said that they would give me key chain care remotes (well I only received of them) He said that my monthly charge would be $the only stipulation is that I would need to agree to pay that price for years (but somehow my bill is $59.99) so absolutely nothing is the way that they told me
