DO NOY BUY ANY SERVICE OR MERCHANDISE FROM THESE CROOKS!! YOU WILL REGRET YOUR PURCHASE minute after they leave your house following your install!!!! This business is not honest and does not have any integrity!! We called for several months regarding a faulty alarmNo one came to the residence to fix itI also called the installer to come back to fix itNo one would fix it!! The alarm just kept going off because of the wind blowingI would not use this alarm system nor anyone associated with themAll they want is your moneyI spent dollars for the install and after they run your credit card you can not get any service on your alarm.they always have excuses or do not showThey also play little tricks like oh "you didn't call in but your husband did" so that doesn't count on the number of times your household requested service!! DO NOT USE THIS ALARM COMPANY OR HAVE THIS ALARM INSTALLED ON ANY PROPERTY THAT YOU HAVE!! You will start to regret your purchase minute after they install your alarm and they leave your property Please contact meWe need to do a class action against this business!

Signed service contract with ADT in June, setup auto payment right off the batReceived bill July so I paid thinking auto payment have not startedNovember I received a letter stating that they can not process credit card, I must pay $immediately or my account gets suspendedImmediately called and paid this month worth (63.99/mo contract)December received a statement that I now owe $64.99/moI pulled out my service contract it showed that I am to be billed $63.99/mo, so they are over billingNow I went and do some research and found that ADT automatically pull funds each and every month, even as recently as 12/for this amount they sent out a statement forI called ADT to find out what is going on, their service representative can not figure out their system either and he said he show they have $credit in my account He said he have no authority to fix my account and I must bring my dispute to their dispute email with my supporting documents
So ADT is double billing and double charging for their services, even sends out statement when I have credit in their system
This is ADT corporate billing system problem and not local installation problem, so I am leaving this review on ADT corporate headquarter Revdex.com review

My mother was an ADT customer for many years and she passed away in Feb We left the system on in her home until it was sold in October We have been trying unsuccessfully to have the system turned off ever since then When my brother or I call, we first talk to a person in one department who then tells us we have to talk to a person in another departmentSometimes we get through to the other department and sometimes they don't pick up and the person in the first department says they will make a note of our call We've sent them the two pieces of documentation they initially requested three times, however, they keep stating they've never gotten it Either this is the most incompetent business ever or they are experts at giving the customer the runaround Without a doubt the worst customer service I've ever experienced

The security system company claims they care for your safety, they do not careNot only did one of their reps come to my house, take money from me, try and steal my equipment all behind a deceptive salePromising to upgrade my security system, but ADT DID NOTHING ABOUT IT!!! I sent them the police report I had to file, with the police confirming video surveillance of their ADT rep illegally in my house, frauding me, with a written statement of what happened and whenTheir rep disconnected my services, cut the wires in my home box, and would have taken my equipment, but didn't purely because I told him I owned themAll while my children played in their room next usI called ADT after realizing what had happenedMany times ADT promised to dissolve my account, as a courtesy because their system no longer made me feel safeIt's been and 1/months, and I am still getting harassing calls from their collection departments, because they LIED!!! I've spoken to manager after managerEach on saying they will fix it, each one not fixing it
ADT is a dishonorable companyThey promise safety and security and DO NOT DELIVER

After canceling the contract, received a follow up call two weeks later that manipulated the reinstatement of the contract
After several phone calls in attempt to cancel my contract due to the fact that they did not have the original contract I finally got them to cancel the contract and stop charging me feesTwo weeks later there was a follow up call to present with a new dealI asked why he was asking for all my personal information and he said it was just protocol and he asked if he could share a deal I agreed to listen by saying OK to the conversation and to email with information because I did not have time at that moment since I was with my kidsThat apparently in turn reinstated my contract for two yearsNo terms wherever discussed or agreed on and it was never clear that I was reinstating the contractI was with kids and ask to get this apparent information by emailI never recived updated terms or a contract renewal email of any sort

Protection (now ADT) was installing a new security system in the newly built houseProtection failed to wire the system properly

In late March 2018, I did not disarm the system and opened the back doorProtection called and told me that thee was carbon monoxide present and we should evacuate the houseI asked them to send a technician to review the system because opening the back door should not lead to carbon monoxide alarmThe situation did not make sense

- The wiring was done improperly in such way that upon opening of the door the carbon positive monoxide alarm was triggered

Worst company I ever dealt withThey misled me to get me to sign a contract then when I called to cancel it took three hours on the phone to even find the people I could cancel withFinally they took my money to pay off the balance of my contract

Was told if I signed a year contract when I had the system installed the monitoring fee would not increase for the term of the contract When I received the actual contract in the mail....was asked to sign a small tablet by installation techI read that the rate could increase...when I called customer service to go ahead and pay the years monitoring fee in advanceI was told "NO" because the rate will automatically increase after the first year A lot of deception going on with the billing department at ADT

I have family that has ADT, for more than years, and I just had my system installedThe process was friendly and enjoyableI did not feel pressured, but instead very informed and treated with patience and respectAs the service that I have is very young, I cannot rate that completely, but three times dealt with customer service, in deciding to get ADT and with billing questions and arrangements, and each time was enjoyableThe only in person interaction was positive as wellThe technology that ADT utilizes, and the knowledge of that technology that ADT has demonstrated, gives me a great confidence in the future dealings that I have with their companyI hope that this remains so for the many years to come

I renewed a three year contract with ADT on July 1st, I was then sent a letter on July 23th stating they would no longer be dispatching the police to my home in the event of a burglary The by law was updated on July 1st and I should have been made aware of this term on the phone prior to renewal I tried to cancel my contract as they are no longer providing the service that I had initially agreed too This is criminal Upon attempting to cancel I was told I would be charged $to get out of the contract The terms and conditions of the contract changed and therefore I should be able to cancel thisI was falsely mislead into a contract that they could not deliver

Installed fire system caused violation of local fire ordinances and future additional expenses
Approximately years ago I had a problem with the existing fire system in my house and wanted to change companies I contacted ADT, who told me they do not service systems they did not install and recommend a wireless fire and burglar systemI agreed and had this installed They left the existing wired smoke detectors in place without telling me this would be a violation of the existing fire code This act of irresponsibility has cost me many hundreds of dollars to rectify, so I can sell my house

The system monitor has been chirping for two months now and ADT can't seem to get it to stop permanently, the longest it has been quiet is hoursI get up at 4:in the morning and most nights I can't sleep because the systems chirps every to seconds They have been called numerous times and even been out to the houseIt doesn't make any senseGoing to cancel and get new service with another companyI bet if I don't pay my bill the chirping will stop

Getting billed when we should not be
My husband and I signed up for ADT service at our new home this yearMy husband is getting transferred unexpectedly and we've had to sell our homeI tried to cancel the service and was told I would incur substantial cancellation fees for doing soThe only option that was explained to me was to have the buyer of our home sign up for an ADT contract within days and our cancellation fees would be waivedAs part of our real estate contract with the buyer of our home, we made the arrangement with him that he would sign up for service which he has done so - well with in the days as requested by ADT
