I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
We do not agree with the results that [redacted] claims that were  found on the heating tabs on the motor. The motor did not heat up or get hot when we drove  it, it simply started making  rattling noises n just turned off. Maybe that the tabs were already heated up before we even started using the motor. Our mechanics [redacted] auto repair also stated that the motor had very low oil compression n that was making the lifters or  pistons to make the rattling noise. [redacted] mentioned that waterpump heated up n caused it to heat up. That waterpump came on that same motor . why did they send parts that were  not any good . this whole situation is really a big loop hole so that they dont honor the warranty that came with a defective motor . so they wont have to pay back our money or exchange it for a good motor. We paid $1600 to Advance auto parts not [redacted] . they should dipute it among themselves not with us. What happened to the Motto : that customers are always right n that the company would make the customers satisfied n happy with their business? I believe there are other customers that have gone thru  the same bad experience too. This is alot of money for us poor people to  just not try to do something about it especially when it wasn't our fault that it messed up. Please take that in consideration. Thank you.

They claim that they have not received invoices from us on warranty claims which I have sent to the [redacted] Store several times and also to Advance Auto Parts,  AAP Financial Services in [redacted].  I think most of our warranty claims were handled in house at the [redacted] Store.  We never had to fill out any forms from the corporate office. They were willing to take care of our labor claims when we were in business because we were one of their biggest wholesale accounts, but once we sold they quit communicating with us.  This store has terrible business ethics.I am attaching our statement and invoices that I have already sent them along with a letter that I had sent them on Dec. 4, 2014 explaining everything. Even though I have tried to work out a solution with them,   I have not heard one word back from them.

Please see the attached copy of proof of purchase as requested by company, although I find it interesting that all the belligerent clerk entered my name into the store's computer and located the transaction of  purchase within minutes, yet corporate cannot and is requesting this!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], but I had spent a whole day running to different stores and making phone calls. Just to get the same story from the young men at the storesThey were trying to impress me as to how intelligent they were and talking down to me. I know all about amp draw voltage drop etc. I am a retired commercial electricianSo to avoid any more waisted time I decided to buy a new battery at another Auto parts store and chalk this up as a learning experience.

Again I do NOT accept the company's response I will pursue this matter in court if needed I have spoken with four seasons and they agree that there is a problem in the design of the part and are working on redesigning the part . It does not matter as to where or how many times the part has failed.  It is deemed to the best of my mechanics ability and the repair shop that it is NOT my vehicle causing this systematic problem with the part in question. So with that said I will reiterate that if need be I will pursue this matter in court to retrieve my out of pocket expenses as well as any and all additional fees and cost incorporated with this matter.Thanks[redacted]

replacing it under warranty. Due to the opportunity received, we will see if
General Manager [redacted] can retest the battery; or exchange it anyway as a one

The main reason I felt the need to take action was, for what I consider to be a poor experience at this store. The employee and manager on site were crass, glib and curt which I found most reprehensible, especially since I've spent a lot of money at that store in the lat 2 years, I mainly felt unappreciated as a consumer.I do appreciate the fast turnaround time and the acknowledgement of taking my issue seriously. thank you.

appears that Mr. [redacted] is currently being assisted by our Warranty Claims team currently. We should claim # [redacted] open and a note from today as the latest update. We spoke with our Warranty Claims team and they advised that the Manufacturer of the engine, “[redacted]”, has requested a picture of the engine from underneath with the oil pan removed to view the issue. The manufacturer determines if the engine can be warrantied and the customer is required to follow their warranty. Our Claims team states after speaking with the store #[redacted], where the purchase was done, that the garage has refused to have the picture taken. At this time we are unable to assist further until the Manufacturer can receive the picture of the engine. We recommend Mr. [redacted] speak with the garage and then have them lift the vehicle so the picture can be taken and provide this to our Warranty Claims Team. At this time we would be willing to refund $60 mentioned previously and two $20 off $50 or more to the Speed Perks account for Mr. [redacted]. According to the statement made in their policy, they price match any competitor price the same day.  When I called [redacted], they could have gotten the part I needed in their store the same day later that afternoon.  Can you tell me how that does not fall within their guidelines? Also I would like so state that I wanted a part from Advance a couple of days ago, they didn't have it in stock in [redacted]. I looked on Advance website and they had the part in [redacted]. I called Advance in [redacted] to confirm that the [redacted] store had it in stock before I drove that far. I was put on hold by [redacted]. [redacted] came back on the line and told me yes [redacted] had it in stock, however, she could get it for me in the [redacted] store from their warehouse in Buffalo by 2:30 the same day.  So as you can see, it does happen.  [redacted] from your company, at Advance( in my opinion is the only one who does a good job)and  knows how customers should be treated.  Advance [redacted] did not honor their price match. [redacted] would have had the part for me the same day. Advance should have honored their policy. The fact that they are trying to dance around the facts are insane to me. We have been loyal customers of theirs for years and yet they act like this. Shows how little consumers mean to big companies. Your policy says same day price match, not in store in stock. My husband was told by [redacted] it only applied to in stock items. That is incorrect. For that fact alone, Advance [redacted] did not honor their policy which in turn cost us more time and money. Wasting time chasing parts from store to store, wasting time searching online, and now listening to you try and justify a fact that is incorrect. I am totally dissatisfied with this.
