I am rejecting this response because: Again, this complaint is for Valerie Buffington which was incorrectly spelled as Valrie T Sparkman account number [redacted]. This is a  senior who is unable to handle business. As stated in the complaint,the issues happened to her. The complaint was documented and written by myself. Detailed information was given including the account number. As of date, it continues to get re-directed to me,  daughter and writer.

just two months after the contract was signed and with the account already being past due. We have tried to contact him to see what his concerns are, as they are not listed in his complaint, but have been unsuccessful. I am rejecting this response because:
 Proposed Dispute Resolution   There has been no refund delivered to me or my Bank for deposit to me as of Aug 17th.   All  I know is,  I did not receive it and if it was sent for deposit to the only bank account of mine that Alder had information on, it would have been rejected,  because I closed that account in mid June. In late July we also moved from TX to LA.  Alder knows who or where the refund the sent, and if it was a check to me sent to the address they have  on file, the forwarding may not have been completed correctly. If Alder intends to complete  the refund, they can  send a check to [redacted] [redacted]  [redacted]   [redacted]  [redacted], our new address.I believe Alder tried to draw money in July because I received two calls from them in July. asking why the payments were not made.  There could be several explanations for these facts  that do not not imply questionable intentions, but my suspicions certainly have not been alleviated and I have not seen evidence of good faith action.Mr.N[redacted]'s statement referring to the contract being closed and all payments  and terms completed, is accepted. I remain dissatisfied but  willing to change with positive action and explanation from Mr. N[redacted].

The technician did not have equipment with him for the
second appointment because it was intended to have equipment shipped over night
for the installation that day but when the technician arrived the equipment was
not thereThe technician returned on separate occasions to complete the
installation but was turned away each time because the customer was installing
new windows
We would like to send a technician to finish the
installation and waive the $feeAdditionally we would like to offer Ms
[redacted] months of free service to demonstrate our dedication to meeting her
expectationsPlease let us know if this arrangement is acceptable and we will
proceed with what has been outlined here

Sorry, I hit the wrong button before typing my reply last Friday. I called the rep. that sold the system with questionable tactics within 1 hour after signing the contract and told him I wanted to end the contract after I checked their charges and length of contract compared to other providers. His name was Trevor @ ###-###-####, who in turn gave me two other people Luis M[redacted] @###-###-#### and Zachary T[redacted]. They told me a reduction was coming several times over the next 3 days.I kept telling them I wanted to cancel before the 3 days was up. I have been told everything imageable over the last 2 months. Everything from your bank drafts will be less to you will receive an email soon with your new rates. They always say they will call back and I will be getting corrections, but nothing has been true.  All I have to show is 2 drafts that are even more than the original contract. I even called their Huntsville office number I got on the internet and got a woman that said the office was closed and they had used her cell number. I don't know if this is the culture of the overall company, or just a few from a certain area.

stated clearly. We also went over each detail of the
agreement with her over a recorded phone call and she confirmed she understood
all the terms. Additionally, we sent Ms. [redacted] a check for $[redacted] on 1/21/16
to pay her remaining balance with ADT. If Ms. [redacted] would like to be released
from the agreement she will need to return the $[redacted] and pay 90% of her
remaining balance.

complaint outlined in Mr. [redacted]’s letter we...

apologize if he felt mislead in any
way. We understand that there can be some confusion when transferring from one
home security company to another. For this reason we have a representative from
our corporate office speak with each customer prior to installation to make
sure they understand what is taking place. After retrieving this phone call from
our archives we were able to determine that Michael was informed of the
following: That Alder was not related in any way to his prior monitoring
service and that he was signing a new agreement and would need to contact his
prior service to cancel with them. Mr. [redacted] confirmed that he understood both
these facts. Only after this confirmation did we proceed with installation.                 In order to reduce
the financial burden of being in multiple contracts we are willing to pay the
remaining balance of his agreement with Vivint, whom he stated would not
release him from a 2 year agreement. During the phone call previously mentioned
Mr. [redacted] informed us that there was not a remaining balance with Skyline so we
will assume that agreement has been satisfied. If this solution is acceptable
to Mr. [redacted] we ask that he send us a final bill from Vivint and we will issue

We understand that Ms. [redacted]’s daughter signed up with a different alarm company in March, perhaps they might be willing to release her since they installed their system where there already was one.
