My daughter and I were in a car accident on March 11, 2020. We were hit at a stop sign by an Allstate customer. Since the beginning of the claim #*** , I have been chasing adjusters. The first portion of my claim was assigned to a Mr.. After almost a month with no communication, I called the company. I was advised that my claim adjuster was switched and Sean *** was my new adjuster. I called Mr. several times and left a message about my claim. After 2 in a half months of trying to contact Mr. I received a call on May 30th to advise me payment for my car damage was direct deposited in my bank account. When I spoke with Mr. he stated that the hospital portion of the claim would be handled by a different department. I waited for two weeks and received no contact from anyone from Allstate. I contacted Allstate and spoke with a very helpful agent by the name of Nancy . Nancy advised me that Nicholas *** was the adjuster handling my claim. Nancy stayed that she would contact Mr. to let him know I was trying to get in contact with him. Mr. did not call. I waited a few days before calling the adjuster back. I called and left him a message to get in contact with me about my claim. After another day I contacted customer service again. I was automatically spoke with Nancy. Nancy stayed that she would contact Mr.’s boss Bernard Freeman. I was contacted by Mr. the next day. Mr. stayed that he received our hospital bills. Mr. went over my daughter’s portion of the payment. I signed the papers and emailed those back to Mr.. Mr. also stated that he would issue payment on that day for the hospital bills. After days of no contact I tried to contact Mr. again. I was advised on July 3rd 2020. that Mr.s boss would return back to the office on July 6, 2020. I called and left Mr. Freeman a message on July 8, 2020.

I have called Allstate for the past 3 years complaining about my roof leaking and all they said was to patch it up. now, I have water pouring into my house, now they finally realized it needed to be fixed. But, because my insurance policy didn't include RCV ( Replacement Cost Value ) for my roof, they will NOT pay full replacement value, I have to try to come up with $5,000 out my own pocket. or, they waited for time to expire when my roof could've been covered at a 100%. I as a home owner was I wasNOT told about this part of my policy. And now now here I am just hoping it doesn't pour or I will have to put a bucket in my kitchen floor to catch the water coming in from the roof. Or try to get another loan $5,000 loan soo I can hire someone to come fix my roof. They refuse to help me. But, yet all these years my insurance has increased and I never complained about it, not knowing I wasn't covered.

In July of 2019, we switched to Allstate Insurance after being with *** (auto and homeowner's) for over 30 years. When I reached out to get a quote from Allstate, it was with the understanding that the homeowner's insurance was an apples-to-apples comparison in terms of coverage. I sent the most recent declarations page to the Allstate agent per his request for a proper comparison. He assured me that the coverage he would quote would be equal to or better than the the coverage we had with *** This was discussed over the phone, and I trusted the agent quoted a comparable product.

In late March of 2020, my home suffered hail/wind damage. In April, my neighbor told me to be aware of several missing shingles on my garage roof which was visible from his property. I also discovered shingles in my yard on the right side of my house which had been blown off. So we had a roofing company assess the damage. We also had two other roofing companies come out after that, and they all concurred there was storm damage after they had inspected the roof.

Allstate's inspector came, he went up on the roof, took pictures, and assessed the damage. His report did not agree with that of the original contractor's inspection, stating there was not enough damage and that we should repair the roof. I expressed an immediate problem with that because the 3-tab shingles we have are no longer made. Aside from that the color could not be matched as well. Without the storm damage, our roof could easily last another 10-15 years.

When Allstate's adjuster contacted me, he said that coverage for the roof replacement would not make sense because our deductible is high and Allstate does not cover the full replacement cost of the shingles (even though our previous policy with *** did). This was news to me, believing we had comparable coverage. My complaint is that we were mislead into thinking we have good coverage for our home. Allstate's policy is clearly designed in a way that leaves us at a loss.

Sincerely,

Isaac *** Not only was my insurance Home owners Premium raised higher but I also found out that my auto insurance wa way higher than it should have been Allstate was charging me $278 per month for my auto insurance come to find out I changed my insurance carrier now I'm only paying $150 seems like Allstate hasn't habit of over inflating prices also I have more coverage now than I had with Allstate

I had my Insurance co come to my property the first was due to my gutters in the front falling we had a heavy snowfall due to Hail Damage and they stated nothing was wrong with my roof. The one Adjustor told me to “Sell my whole house and let someone else deal with my problems”. Obviously something is wrong if he’s saying that. I was eventually told by my insurance co I could have my contractor present but the adjustor did not want him present because of the Covid virus but insisted that I can go on top of the roof with him (I was 9 months pregnant at the time) and assess the damages with him. I did NOT go on top of my roof and I told him I wasn’t. I called and reported him for asking me to go up there. I contacted my Agent and she said she would have my claim reopened. I had to contact her several times and still no results. She said she would call me back and I still have yet to hear from her. Everyone on my block in my neighborhood got new roofs due to the golf ball size hail that did significant damage. I’m sure the hail didn’t bypass my home I was looking out the window when it was coming down. I can’t get my insurance co to come back with my licensed contractor to look at the damages with him. I’m no roofer but I’ve seen pictures of my roof and there’s damage as well as damage to my gutters that I just had replaced. They told me to have the contractor submit pictures and an estimate but I was told even if he does that it will not be approved.

I filed a claim under my home owner's policy due to a April 2020 severe storm. My roof was damaged during this storm. In fact, four home on my street alone suffered roof, siding and shutter damage due to the storm. The adjuster came out and went over my property with my contractor. I had to talk to at least three different agents to find out the results of the adjuster's findings. The adjuster performed a "brittle test" but apparently those results were not communicated with AllState. By now, I was in communication with my third agent, Erica -- who told me AllState offered to repair several dozen shingles but that was it. I asked about the brittle test. She told me she had no info. She then sent me a box to send AllState a sample of my shingle, which should've come from the adjuster. My contractor was nice enough to come back and get a sample to send. At this time, two months had already passed since the claim was filed. AllState only wanted to pay $1,300 for shingle repairs, which minus the deductible, AllState would send me a check for $300. I declined. After the shingle was accepted, Erica informed me AllState would repair the front of my roof and only patch the sides and the back. By now it has been 3 months since this claim was filed. I spoke to Erica's supervisor Brent who was no help at all. He did not care I've been with AllState nearly 6 years. He told me the company would only do the front and patch the sides and back and there was nothing else to be done. But yet, when speaking with Erica I was told shingles could be damaged when repairing them so if that happens during the repairs then we would visit the roof replacement. So AllState is willing to do a patch job and then replace after the patch job is attempted. This is unnecessary and a waste of time. My roof needs to be replaced immediately.

wouldn't let me pick zero stars. We had a big storm in April and im still fighting with this company, asked for a copy of the photos of our roof on June 23rd, and after asking several different people I finally received them on July 6th. I should have known I was in for a fight when the first thing my contractor ask me was "you don't have Allstate do you?" Ive been laid off due to COVID and I will spend my free time letting everyone I can know about these crooks who will do everything in their power not to pay out what they should.

had wind hale storm damage and 6 roofering company came out looked at my damage Detailed Spread sheet and they company give tons of pictures from all angles All said same thing wind hale storm damage. Allstate sent there 3rd party contractor Beware LADDER NOW they suck *** three separate Guys different days all late by hours most of the people are sub contractors 1099 they said the same BS story no issues with the roof Is perfect home owner neglected house. Allstate basically said *** you thanks for your monthly insurance money good day.
I half to leave a star ratting. They is no negative so one it is

Allstate insurance handled my claim in a dishonest manner. They figured I would accept their denial and move on, but I know I'm right and I won't let this go. I will take any steps needed to resolve my just and legitimate claim. We had a windstorm with high winds in my area. I had a retaining wall in my back yard with a stockade fence behind it. During the storm, the gusts of wind were so strong that the fence repeatedly struck the retaining wall. Due to the repeated contact during the storm, the wall broke in half horizontally and fell over. I reported the damage the next day. They sent out an adjuster who agreed that the damage was caused by the wind, but someone in their office had already made a decision to deny the claim. They stated that the wall settled, which was absolutely false. I tried calling the adjuster again and he apologized and said he felt bad, but it was over his head. The wall never collapsed from settling, it fell over from being struck in the wind. In addition, the company mixed up my claim with another person. In a letter they sent me, they said they couldn't cover my garage or swimming pool! It was clearly an error, as I have no garage and I have no swimming pool. They then had the nerve to raise my premium. I'm sure I will get a canned response to this, but I will persist until they resolve this matter.

my flooring in a room located at right side of basement got water damaged from storm in May 2020, I filed claim but denied as no flooding coverage under my policy, I accepted the deny. I paid and repaired it.
last week my furnace drain pipe was clogged and condensed water leaked from base of furnace. it damaged the left side of basement. I filed claim again and allstate gave me hard time by requesting a prove of fixing the previous damage which is the right side of basement. two different area damage and I think allstate is make an excuse not to cover it.

Allstate is the worst insurance company for roadside assistance. July 4th 2020 my son and I broke down in the middle of nowhere we had a flat tire we called Allstate Roadside Assistance the guy that picked up the phone had the worst *** disrespecting attitude towards me it was unbelievable. He couldn't find my information or my account so he threw an attitude at me because of it. I literally had to tell him do not treat me the way he was he was being so disrespectful, they ask you for a call back number in case you get disconnected but they never call you back so I but he never called back, I was on hold for 45 minutes before I was disconnect, I called Allstate back got a different guy and he asked me what do you want me to do? how can I help you so I explained to him what was going on and he kept repeating himself how can I help you I'm not an it don't treat me like an it and when I tell you I am broke down I am calling for help roadside assistance that I pay for, once again disconnected. I call back again received a lady on the line I was on hold for a half an hour was disconnected and no one not once called me back to help me and my child out of the situation we were in. I was with my other insurance company for 7 years left them to go to Allstate because they had cheaper rates and now I'm regretting it. My child and I sat on the side of the road for 4 1/2 hours and not once did Allstate call us back to help us in our situation not once. I've only been with Allstate for a month now and I'm already leaving them to go back to my old insurance company I rather pay higher rates than the deal with disrespecting *** and stranded for 4 and 1/2 hours because they don't want to do their jobs. My son and I wind up having to walk 6 miles just to get help. Never ever again in my life will I deal with Allstate. I personally would give them a - 10.

It seems that almost everyone online has been with Allstate over 20 years like me. I have been with Allstate for 20 and had to call them for the hail damage that caused my roof damage last year. The adjuster came out with my contractor and said only a few needed to be replaced. Here it is a year later and the front of my roof is falling off. This is due to the hail storm from last week or the week before. Since I don't leave the house, my husband had to point it out and now the HOA. Do I have to wait until the roof caves in order for Allstate to fix the roof. We as consumers pay a lot of money to stay health and keep our homes in proper shape. That's why we have insurance. This is the last straw with them. I am going to get a public adjuster. I don't care if I have to pay the adjuster, I just want Allstate to fix whats broken. That's what insurance is for to cover the expense.

Hello, we’re sorry to hear about your claim experience. Please feel free to email our team at [email protected]. We can review this case and reach out to you.

I was hit by an Allstate customer car Dec. 2018.I had to go through my insurance company to get my totaled car reimbursement. It has now been a year and a half to get my medical payments taken care of. They can back today with a fraction of what my out of pocket was. Through all of this they wanted me to supply them instead of them doing their job and getting the information from the Doctors.
I have not been in good hands with Allstate.

On April 6, 2020, I filed a Windstorm and Hail claim with Allstate. The claim number is ***1. The initial person of contact was Myra ***, . Stephanie *** was assigned as the Claims Adjuster, . An inspector was assigned to my claim, Corey *** from ***. *** contact is . Mr. conducted the inspection on April 9, 2020. I requested my agent, John *** , attend the inspection and he refused. My contractor, Micah *** from ***, inspected the roof alongside Mr.. Once the inspection was complete, Mr. shared that with the roof being over 10 years old. The roof failed the Brittle Test with 145 missing and/or damaged shingles, it will be his recommendation to have the roof replaced. He also noted that it was not his call. Once the inspection was complete and before a decision had been rendered Stephanie *** shared that Allstate does not generally replace roofs, their practice is to repair the roof. Once Stephanie *** completed her process, she offered a $4,697.81 settlement. I shared with Mrs. that I live in a subdivision and any modifications would have to be approved by the HOA. The shingles on my home are not being manufactured anymore. The shingles are not an exact match color nor size. Micah *** attempted to add the new shingles that do not match the existing roof and the existing shingles split. A photo was taken and shared with Allstate.

I just got a letter of cancellation from my insurance company: Allstate. I was under the impression the recent executive orders in New York prohibited the cancellation of policies. As such, I think this cancellation might not meet the requirements of the state.

The letter of cancellation was based on "adverse factors," most signifigantly: "the number of revolving accounts, the number of months since the most recent customer-initiated bank or credit card inquiry, the number of accounts opened over the past 5 years." These issues were not issues at the time of signing the policy, none of these issues have worsened my credit report (in fact it's improved since I signed the policy) and there doesn't seem to be any real justification for this sudden cancellation, the first time I've ever received such a letter in my life.

Allstate charged $6397 annually for 2 commercial vehicles, stating I only have to pay $4575 if I pay in full which I did, then in June 09, Allstate sent me another bill demanding $716.00 due on 6/30 without any information, my agent communicated with Allstate without much success, he was not sure why the charges and suggested to pay to avoid cancellation.
I feel Allstate has failed its customers, it is more than $700 we are talking about, we are not in good hands at all, but in incompetent hands, its advertisement is misleading.
Please ask Allstate to provide information regarding:
1. why they are charging me another $716.00 after I have paid in full,
2. how much they charge for each vehicle for insurance which were not available per my agent.

I contacted Allstate for a claim to fix my windshield for my 2017 ***. Without informing me, or giving me an option, Allstate had an aftermarket windshield installed This has caused an error message in my car’s safety and navigation system that cannot be calibrated or fixed This also affects the front camera and associated safety features. The only solution is replacement with a proper Volvo windshield.

When I called Allstate and told them that the windshield could not be calibrated and was substandard, the agent said, “Dealerships always say that.” Dealerships don’t cause the ongoing error message that the front facing safety features are not working every time I drive.

One would think Allstate would want All safety features to work perfectly all the time.

I am deaf since a little girl and have 20 years of speech therapy to be able to talk. I use a closed captioning service to "hear" what people say on the phone. The AllState call center representative made fun of my voice and threatened to end the call if I didn't stop speaking like that. After I told him about my disability, he continued to argue with me and was even ruder, never apologized.
Why consider insurance coverage with a company whose representatives make fun of people with disabilities?
