I purchased a cell phone with a $5 warranty which was a great deal to begin with.
The phone screen cracked after dropping it. I called to submit a claim the call taker was very very helpful very knowledgeable and my claim was filed fast I was emailed a shipping label to return the phone which I did not do it yet.
I was told once the phone was received they would email me a store credit for the amount that I paid for the phone. Unfortunately the phone was on sale so it's not like I'm getting the full amount for my phone but the service was very quick.
I cannot comment as if it actually happened because I did not mail the phone yet hopefully there will be no troubles receiving the money.
Tvs. Especially ***. SHOULD NEVER BE SHIPPED. The technology is way to delicate to justify making your replacements via mailing. So naturally the 2 tv's shipped had issues. The second was one of the worst shipping jobs I have ever seen in my life. Literally. The box was just overlay. Same size. No foam. No bubble wrap. Finally st paid me my cost of tv. The hassle of shpping the tvs back myself is why I didnt leave 5 stars. Otherwise. Not too dissapointed. But seriously. Square trade. If youre listening. Invest in local pickup options for televisions. For crying out loud.

Good service after talking to supervisors supervisor
The phone representative tried to work through many troubleshooting problems, which did not work. She set up a part to be ordered and scheduled service. When the service man arrived he was given the incorrect problem description, but parts were sent for both the incorrect problem and the real problem. So, the repair happened in a timely manner.
Square trade is the best!!!! I have had them since 2012. On any new product I buy. It is worth every penny because they stand behind their warranty . Would recommend that everyone get it themselves rather than pay extra money by going through a vendor that you're buying something with
Squaretrade really seemed to care about my frustration and anxiety after my phone got the "black screen of death". I was so scared seeing as I am 18 hours away from my family. When I first put in my claim it gave my the option to go to a local repair shop. There were no repair shops located within 40 miles of my current location. I got on their live chat and was able to get a solution that worked for me quickly. From that point until they got the device and told me I had to have a replacement they were sincere and knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend that my family and friends purchase this warranty on top of whatever other warranty they have with their device. I love the fact its contingent on your purchase of the plan and device rather than the service company you are with. This service was truly a Godsend!!!! Thank you SquareTrade for a job well done.

Wasn’t as easy as expected. There needs to be clarification when items purchased as gifts are warranties for the recipient. The process was confusing, but once cleared, it was quite rapid on results.
I had claim recently for a printer that failed. Square Trade made me a very fair offer to cash it out that allowed me to quickly replace it with a new machine with no delay for repair or shipment of a replacement. The process was painless.
I rarely buy extended warranties, but did this time when I bought a *** at ***. It had 3 *** ports which I needed. One of the *** ports went out and we bought another *** cable and tried all kinds of things before contacting Square Trade. I spent well over an hour on the phone with their Techs trying all their standard repair techniques but they were things to make the TV work -- I had explained that the TV worked fine except for one of the three *** ports. Finally, the Tech called *** and called back to say they would send a new TV. When the new TV arrived, it had only TWO *** I gave up, bought another TV and used the 2-port TV in another room where I really didn't need it. Exasperating!!
My phone was malfunctioning and I called Square Deal after I had called *** and my service provider without resolving my problems.
I called Square Deal, my Insurance carrier. They said I needed a new phone and proceeded to get the necessary info to replace my phone.
Quick, easy and I had a new phone in 2 days.
This was a very pleasant as well as unexpected experiance I had bought a 4 year repair policy on a tv and after 3 years it went out I had forgotten the policy what a happy outcome the repair was handled very well would recommend this service well worth the cost.
