I requested a replacement of my watch band and they sent the entire watch. The replacement was made in a very short time period and the process to ask for the replacement was very easy and painless. It isn’t insurance if it doesn’t pay and these folks pay.

My technician *** was excellent. He did all that was necessary to take care of my problem with much knowledge and courtesy.

My equipment purchase cost was refunded after making a claim and submitting documentation of the purchase and a letter from the seller. An electronic malfunction in my imported 2-wheel personal transporter made it dangerous to use. Returning to the manufacturer in *** for service was impossible due to import/export regulations and tariffs. These would have incurred return costs nearly TEN times higher than the purchase price. Square Trade sent me a refund check within two weeks.

I absolutely love these people ??????. I had not one but two phones that they replaced for me at separate times. I mean WOW!! If every company had costomer service, and promptness like this; shoppers would be so happy. I received my replacement phone the next day. It was quick, pleasant, and accurate. This process is the quickest I've ever dealt with, and the people are freindly plus willing to help you.

The best experience I ever had.!
Easy and fast.!

I purchased 2 *** televisions on 8/11/14 with a 5 year protection plan from ***. One was a*** the other *** The *** picture was showing 3 white spots, (they're 6 spots now). I contacted square trade and filed a claim in September/2018 about the problem. I performed the test instructions with the person on the phone and that didn't correct the issue. They said since it could not be repaired, they would send a replacement. They wanted to rush me in picking a replacement that was (1) Not a *** (2) did not equal the specs of a 240 refresh rate of my tv (3) did not equal the functionality or the features. The were all entry level televisions so I did not accept their non equal offer. I have not heard from them since October 2018. In reference to the "Terms and Conditions" Section 5, the only option left at this point since they couldn't repair it or provide a satisfactory replacement, is sub-section(B) Provide a cash settlement or a gift card reflecting the replacement cost of a new item of equal features and functionality up to the coverage amount.

We apologize for any issues the consumer experienced with their device.

A replacement offer including the current model of the consumer's current device was emailed on 10/8/2018 and our replacement team has received no response. Another replacement offer email has been sent to the Consumer. Once received the consumer can directly reply to that email with any concerns regarding the replacement model.

My problem was handled promptly with only two phone calls (because I didn't have all the information the first call). I was pleased with my service.

We are trying to get a problem resolved so we can not give a review hit

Square Trade was wonderful in handling my problem with a robot vacuum cleaner. They were courteous, efficient and businesslike. They returned my repaired cleaner quickly and kept me informed all through the process.

Due to the first representative using my cell phone protection plan to replace my wive's phone I had one heck of a time getting a replacement phone for myself. It took Consumer Cellular to call and approve for them to use my wive's contract to replace my phone. They wouldn't listen to me, nor accept blame for the mess up. After five calls or chat sessions with *** and *** they did finally authorize the replacement.

This company is amazing.

Very fast resolution. They were polite and helpful throughout the process.

I purchased two devices through *** in early 2018. One was a refurbished *** cellphone and the other was an *** Fire. While checking out my items I was asked if I wanted to buy insurance from Squaretrade to protect each item, which was misleading because the *** had a manufacture warranty on it already and because of this would not be covered by Squaretrade when the defective battery it came with finally died about 6 months later (so I suspect the Fire warranty would not have been honored for some reason too, probably the same reason of manufacturer coverage). The order confirmations for the orders are order *** and order ***. After the phone's internal battery died and I found out the insurance with Squaretrade would do nothing for me I requested a refund for both devices on September 18th for one and September 19th for the other. I was told I would get a prorated refund in 3-5 business days but it could take up to 10 days. I never received a refund to my bank account. I called Squaretrade on September 24th, October 10th, and November 18th to see where the money went. They gave me two transaction *** and *** and told me the money had been refunded to the seller *** days after the requests. They told me to contact *** and I did who told me to contact Squaretrade who told me to contact *** again. *** says the money did not and should not have went back to them. I am tired of the runaround. I have called my banks and they confirmed they never saw the transactions come through. Between three part-time jobs, asthma flare ups, 2 car accidents and their repairs being resolved, the holidays, and balancing family life during the last quarter of 2018, I should not have had to call *** and Squaretrade back and forth so much and achieve nothing. I was also calling my two banking agencies the money could of returned to in case it went to either card (when I know it was suppose to go to one) to check on where the money actually went to. It is now two weeks into early 2019 because I decided to wait until the holidays passed to *** to help me contact a Squaretrade higher-up and figure out where the transactions went to. I have asked the teleagents and they could not transfer me because they are outsourced and in another country. *** says this is a matter with Squaretrade as they are the merchant of the service and I believe them. It has nothing to do with the seller I bought the phone/Fire from on *** because the service of the insurance is from Squaretrade. And, it is the insurance company Squaretrade I want my prorated refund from. The transactions should have never been lost, and I am tired of trying to call around to figure out where it went which I should not have to do. The Squaretrade teleagents the last time I called told me there indeed was some kind of issue with the cancellations and he spoke to his supervisor who told him to tell me to contact *** Department and the phone seller, who was indeed ***. This should not be the case.

We apologize for any issues experienced by the consumer receiving their refund.

When a warranty is canceled the warranty cost is refunded to the original method of payment. In some cases where the original method of payment is no longer in use, a check is processed and mailed.

A check has been processed to reimburse the warranty cost for the each of the consumer's warranties purchased.

I just got my ipod back from a over 14 day repair and still is having the same issue I want a refund and all you want to do is a repair

Squaretrade reserves repair, replacement or reimbursement as resolutions for our claims. Which resolution is available depends on numerous factors, one of which includes whether Squaretrade believes the product can be serviced or not.If Squaretrade determines an item can be repaired we cannot provide an item reimbursement per request. If Squaretrade technicians determine the product is irreparable we will salvage the item and provide the consumer a reimbursement for their item price.Per a review of the last claim on this consumer's account we can see an item was salvaged and a reimbursement provide. For any misunderstanding regarding this resolution please reach our claims team at

We apologize for any issues the consumer experienced processing a claim on their device. A portion of all consumer claims filed are flagged for review by the SquareTrade Trust and Safety Team. Once the Proof of Purchase is received and verified the consumer's claim is completed for the desired resolution. We have received the necessary Proof of Purchase from the consumer and processed a claim for depot repair.

I have a hard time explaining the definite problem. The person from *** help me through a very difficult time. Very helpful and friendly. Thank You very much.

Fast, efficient, and friendly

Square Trade fully met their agreement when my wife's iPad failed.
Although they could not repair it they paid us the full initial purchase price less tax. The repair attempt was expeditious and the payout was prompt.
I highly recommend buying the Square Trade coverage for piece of mind.

Square Trade provided an easy & quick response to my claim. Great Service!

I purchased a warranty from square trade. For a *** I bought there was nowhere that I ever recall being told that the the warranty only covered up to the cost of what the item you are covering cost. I paid for a 3 year plan. Not a plan only cover up to cost of items purchase price. Plus the warranty states if they can't fix it they replace it. I sent it to them with that request because I sent It back before for the same PROBLEM. So I sent this tablet in because of slow response. Told them I wanted a replacement. Not to send it back to replace it. I called square trade when I got it back. They claimed they fixed the problem. THEY DID NOT. I called to let them know it still was not responding well. They said set it back to warranty setting. If didn't work contact them again. I did. know one ever sent me another return label to get it or replaced. Now I know why they closed my warranty out. I called today, I was told the repair last time cost more than the $149.00 that I I paid for it. So my account was closed out. And there was no record of the last call I claim I made or any email request.
