Did an awesome job!!!! VERY HELPFUL

Company offered a warranty for a tv purchased through ***. The model number was incorrect on drop down list and I was told it would be updated via chat on the 1st contact in 6 hours to file the claim, the second time it would take up to 24 hours and I requested a phone number just in case. Third time same issue I called and was told they would not honor warranty it needed to go back to seller or manufacture but worse when I asked about the misleading representation of the policy, the gentleman hung up on me. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Worthy paper policy that is equivalent to a scam.

They went above and beyond to let me fix my computer locally and I was reimbursed within 4 days of me sending in the receipt!

I purchased a TV from Costco with a 5 year insurance policy for my TV from Square Trade for $85. My TV went out and I contacted Square Trade to help with repair or replace. I gave them the opportunity to repair my TV not once but twice and both times the repair guy never showed up. I now have a 70" TV sitting on my dining room table waiting for a call from Square Trade or the repair guy for over one week.
I call Square Trade to let them know that I can no longer wait for a repair guy because the TV is sitting on my dining table where my family have dinner and my wife wants it out. So only solution left because Square Trade and Repair Guy is not calling, I cant get them on the phone so I go out a replace the TV with a new TV. I finally get Square Trade on phone explain situation and ask for a refund for TV, either on the first one that I purchased that went bad under warranty or the replacement TV. David a supervisor with Square Trade tells me that he will refund the $85 paid for Insurance and go ask Costco where I purchased the TV to refund my money. I could not believe my ears. Anyhow, now I have no choice but to notify Costco about Square Trade's actions and possibly contact a attorney to review what just happened. I would not recommend this company. This is a horrible experience that I would not wish on any one.

I called over a week ago regarding a problem I had with a ***. Knowing I would not use it often, I purchased an extended 3 year warranty with it. I used it three times in one year, each time there was a different problem. Called the manufacturer, but the original 1 year warranty had expired.
Contacted Square Trade, and was told my problems were not covered, but I was given a "good faith, one time" exception that they would cover the cost of replacement parts. Further, the representative I spoke to verified my email address, and said he was sending me an email as we talked, with where to send the receipt for re-imbursement.
I am still waiting for the email.
Very doubtful I will ever get that email or re-imbursement.

Square Trade worked as advertised to fix and issue I had with a *** speedlight. Flash died for no apparent reason but was out of manufacturer warranty. Thankfully I had purchased Square Trade for a three year extended warranty. Went to Square Trade site, entered my credentials and explained my problem, got a free shipping label to print. Shipped item, got an email when they received the flash, got another email when it was in for repair, and got another when the repair was completed and the item was on its' way back to me. Item worked as good as new when I got it back. I believe they actually sent it to *** for the repair. It took about 3 weeks (which is about how long *** usually takes if you send it directly to them anyway). My only wish is that someone explained to me what was wrong with my flash and what might have caused the issue but otherwise I am extremely satisfied with SquareTrade and will recommend it - especially with expensive and sometimes finicky electronics like photography flash equipment.

I Purchased an extra 2 year insurance with Square Trade, after my other TV went out just after its warranty, and had to purchase a new one after only one year. I am very pleased to say I received a new TV after the lighting lighting started to go out. It was a very simple process and I received the new TV with in a Week.
Thank you so much for a smooth and easy process and upholding you promise to replace if un fixable. I will most definitely use them again for all my electronic purchases, just incase they have problems. Paying for Insurance on electronics can save you dearly if needed.

I have had two repair needs on the same device. My first experience was negative, largely due to a process that was very lengthy.
This experience was fairly quick. My laptop screen cracked. I shipped it away, and it was repaired in about a week.

Technicians were extremely helpful in trying to troubleshoot my issues before requiring send in. Item was determined to be non repairable and a full refund was issued in a prompt time.

Have sent my son's *** back to them twice. First they only repaired the broken screen and not the damage sustained when it was dropped. It was sent back again only to be told they don't cover cosmetic damage. Why the hell do they advertise it as insurance if they won't cover reported damage? Then on top of it, the sound doesn't work now that it's been sent back to my son for the 2nd time. What a joke. Don't make the same mistake I made purchasing Square Trade. The only good thing I can say is their phone support folks have been nothing but professional.

Had to work with SquareTrade on my *** from ***. It was 2 1/2 years old. They had me send pictures of the issue and quickly decided to replace my *** and offered 3 types to replace. It was a pleasure working with them and received the replacement in a few days.
GREAT EXPERIENCE

Bait and Switch
Purchased cell phone and Square Trade Protection Plan 2 years ago. Have paid monthly since then. Now have a claim and was told there is a $129.00 charge to start the claim process. When Plan was purchased was told "If you have any problem they will take care of it". No mention of any deductible.
Will never buy another Square Trade product.

Aside from spending too much time on hold and finding the right person to talk to, Square Trade's service for me was excellent. My 65 inch HD TV was within days of expiring on our contract. I talked to a tech and he had me do some troubleshooting on the phone, nothing of which fixed the problem. He decided the main board was bad and mailed a new one out overnight. Then we set up an appointment for a service tech to come and install it. We then found that there was not a tech close enough to me to make the trip. Ended up sending the part back and they sent me a new TV. I will say that the different people I spoke with on the phone were very courteous, prompt, and kept me informed. All in all, my experience with Square Trade was very good, except for trying to find somebody to talk to. Not all things can be explained talking to a computer. Will do business with Square Trade again.

The whole process was very easy to file my claim and get a new printer. The agent that helped me was was excellent and so friendly. If I could give 10 stars ?? I would.

Square Trade took care of me. Within 4 hours of submitting a claim, I was approved and got a check within days.

Fearing I would need to replace my 3-year old TV, I contacted SquareTrade. Eventually I was put in contact with a very knowledgable technician who via the phone walked me through what was needed to correct the problem. He was friendly, patient, and his guidance resolved the problem totally. And I still have a few more years on my service contract. Well worth the cost, as I would have bought a new TV.
