I am rejecting this response because: they did not offer me what was requested. They offered me 5,000 points which is nothing. It is not even enough points for 1 flight let alone after everything I went though.

I am...

rejecting this response because: I will not accept that I was quoted one price, then charged a higher amount without any notification.  I expect to be refunded the difference of $164 or compensated in miles (which, based on your buy miles policy would be about 5500 miles).

I am rejecting this response because:American Airlines (AA) continues to offer nothing to compensate me for my loss.  Vouchers will not pay my credit card bill.  They failed to get me (and my 3 children) home on the day I booked my tickets for.  I was directed by the agent at American Airlines in the Denver airport to make my own arrangements home if I needed to get home the same day and that American Airlines and its affiliate had no way to get me home on the same day I had my tickets for. [redacted] was the AA representative I believe who said this.  Keep in mind this was the second time, for the same day, American Airlines cancelled my flight stating issues on AA's end.  I was forced to go line by line, at the Denver airport, with my children and 5 bags, to find any available flight to get me home and buy same day tickets due only to AA failure to deliver on the tickets I bought and secondly, this is what I was told to do by AA if I had to get home (which was the case to keep my son's job).  American Airlines has acknowledged I received sub-par service yet will not correct its error. I was asked what did I do to try to resolve this by [redacted] at AA.  Again, I called American the day before my flight, I called the day of my flight, I went in person the day my flight was cancelled, I went and asked for a supervisor when the face to face at American ([redacted] told me to solve my problem on line and with other airlines.  What more would American Airlines have had me do on 12/30/17 to get home after telling me they would not help me after cancelling my flight to Jacksonville (and telling me 12/31/17 would have to work for my family)?  I was told I had no other option but to find another airline myself if I needed to be home on 12/20/17, the day I booked.I will not accept vouchers as AA has done nothing to instill any sense of faith that they have planes that fly reliably and remotely time, or even the same day as booked.  The last customer service representative [redacted] suggested my planes didn't happen because of the busy time of year it was.  I thought the planes were cancelled because of the mechanical difficulty with each plane. [redacted] from AA said he reviewed my file/complaint thoroughly, yet I am not 100% sure about this if he does not know why my original flights were cancelled/did not happen.   The bottom line is that but for AA failure to get me home on either of the two flights they booked me on, and AA's failure to do anything to try to get me on any other flight to the state of Florida that would work, I had to get 4 same day tickets home.  AA did absolutely nothing to help me other than to tell me to go work it out with other airlines and find my own tickets.  And once I did, AA now doesn't want to pay the price difference between what I had to pay and what AA refunded me.  This is a tremendous customer service disappointment and exactly why I don't intend to fly AA again, vouchers or no vouchers. AA needs to refund my American Express $1049.92 or send me a check for the same.

I am rejecting this response because:
I was charged $200 in cash by your representative at the gate in order to cancel the second leg of my trip to Edmonton and make my flight end early in Toronto. Your representative claimed that the issue was about overhead space and she refused to let me carry the appropriately sized baggage onto the plane despite my showing her the medicine and religious articles on the baggage. I reluctantly agreed to have it checked but told her that I would need it as soon as I arrived in Toronto. She refused to have my baggage be checked to Toronto and insisted that the only way I could do this would be to cancel the second leg of my trip for which she charged me $200. I had to pay money to you to lose a part of my planned trip. Most importantly, I was treated with disrespect and, I believe, with religious prejudice as I detailed in my original complaint. My complaint still stands and I will not remove it until I am reimbursed for the flight and the trouble your representative caused me. Contrary to your statement, this issue was brought to your attention in March of 2016 not in August of 2017. If at the time of my complaint you had taken it seriously and reviewed the circumstances you would have been able to interview the parties involved. Instead you have repeatedly tried to delay addressing this matter appropriately and simply hope I give up. I will not do so. Thank You,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  This was what I originally rejected  in the first place.  They had the balls to send this again after 3 years.  It was too late of a response 3 months after the incident let alone 3 years.  When we were told we were screwed.  In fact they were going to take even longer to get our bags back but they took care of it because they found out we might have medical equipment in them.   This is absolutely terrible customer service.  The only acceptable response from them would be to refund me the cost of the flight and since it was OUR luggage and not just MY  luggage  I would demand they refund my wifes ticket as well.

I am...

rejecting this response because: it should not take TWO YEARS for a business to respond to a complaint through the Revdex.com. The temerity! Their customer service is awful, they don't accept complaint phone calls, and the one time they returned my email with a phone call the customer service representative was incredibly unprofessional and then hung up on me. So this TWO YEAR response time only surprises me because of the fact that they responded at all. So no, I do not accept this response from American Airlines. And actually, this has just upset me all over again.

I am rejecting this response because:I have already filed a lost item report over one week ago with no resolution. My report # is [redacted] I have also learned from...

multiple sources American Airlines is not proactive in such matters and rarely offers resolution for the customer. In the very least, I deserve compensation for a new phone in a timely manner.
