Dear [redacted],
Unfortunately, this complaint will go unresolved. We are not responsible for personal containers. We checked with our crew and they did not take the trash can. We will not be reimbursing for this personal trash can.
Sincerely,

Dear Revdex.com,
I have reviewed the account in question and have spoken with my operations team...

and account manager. We were informed of the  concern  with recycling pickup on November 30, 2012 and, according to my operations team, crews were addressed and issue was resolved.  On the same day, the customer reported a pipe was collected with the trash.  Unfortunately, we are not responsible for items sitting near trash the containers and the customer was informed of this.
Our records show no further issues regarding property damage or recycling concerns were reported until May 15, 2015.  At that  time, the account was on credit hold due to non-payment.  The  customer  was refusing to pay anything due to  claims of mixing trash and recycling.  According to my operations team and account manager, the issue was only reported one time in 2012, and resolved immediately afterwards.
We will not be removing the  requested amount.  Services were performed and are due to us.

I am rejecting this response because:  I am not the only one in my neighborhood who did not get a letter explaining that the service was transferred.  Overall, I think the company is less than customer focused and lacks in customer service.  The way the entire transfer of service was handled was poor and know that I am not the only one who feels this way in our development.  Our homeowners association web page had comments from many residents unaware of the change and wrong billing.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I maintain that this fee was not disclosed when I signed up for service and that at no point at signup or thereafter did I agree to it verbally or in writing. American Disposal does not contest this. As I stated before, just writing something on a piece of paper doesn't make it so. A quick Google for "american disposal account close fee" shows that I am far from the only person who has been charged this fee in this manner (e.g., [redacted] "They also told her they were charging her a $20 cancellation fee, yet she had never signed a contract and in fact was sold to them by another company that American bought out (again, no contract with them either."
The refund of the full $20 fee remains what I consider the only acceptable response on the part of American Disposal.

In accordance to Federal Regulations we do not collect any type of automobile parts. We have confirmed with the driver that a car battery was not removed. We apologize for the delay in responding to you as we do not have easy access to the drivers when they are out in the trucks. SincerelyLisa

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:No one ever mentioned to my husband that any payment has been returned by the bank.  This notice is the first either of us have heard of this.  He was told Lisa was busy and couldn't speak with him.  I researched my payment & it was in fact returned for some reason (not given) by the bank.  This would have been good information to relay to me before simply picking up my torn trash can.  I will resubmit the payment as described.  Customer service skills, basic communication skills, and common courtesy seem to be severely lacking here.  Perhaps Lisa is simply too busy to do her job.  Wouldn't it have been a simple solution to notify your paying customer on the next bill, or perhaps when actually reading & answering the emails I sent attempting to resolve this matter?
Regards,

I had spoken with [redacted] previously and had explained that his year payments were received, and each free month discount was applied as promised. I explained to him that the balance due had been carrying over from his rate increasing and not being factored into his prepayments. I have spoken with...

[redacted] today, and confirmed for him that all expected adjustments were applied to his account. I assisted him in understanding how the balance due was accumulated, but offered to reduce the balance by half in good faith that he will include potential rate changes in future payments. [redacted] accepted this resolution. I have attached an updated statement reflecting the new balance owed on his account.Jessica H[redacted]

Our rates are based on household
generated kitchen and bath trash...

as well as recycling and yard debris service.
We do offer pickups for items such as furniture and  bulky items,
appliances and construction material. Our house term “special pickup” means items
outside of the regular scope of service. It does not mean the pickup requires a
special or separate truck, as most special pickups are picked up by the regular
crew/truck.  As a courtesy I am willing to reduce the cost of the ping
pong table from $35.00 and instead charge $15.00.
Please let me know if you have

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response becauseThe bin in question disappeared after I no longer lived at the house, meaning it was out of my control.  Judging by the complaints the the Revdex.com, ADS has a history of losing bins at the ends of contracts, then charging customers for them.  One might believe the bins have been stolen by third parties, but this explanation is dubious,  given that none of the complaints involve bins that disappear while a service contract is still in force.  Not only does the evidence strongly suggest that ADS has a habit of losing bins, but the practice of charging customers to replace them gives the company no incentive to avoid the mistake in future.   Furthermore, the company has responded to complaints in the past by waiving the entire charge, but refuses to do so in my case, and refuses to explain why my case is different--despite the fact that arguing over $50 is going to lose it a lot more revenue that it's getting from out current contract.   Incidentally, the company notified us once, after the second or third pickup attempt, but even that notification was inaccurate:  we were told that none of the containers were at the street, and had to call again to discover that only one was missing.

This response does not address the many questions in my complaint. Which in my opinion further shows the lack of respect this company has for its paying customers.
