This place is a crock of garbage and will never see another dime of me or anyone else that I can tell! My order has been paid in full for a week and I still do not have all my items. They swore the items would be In Thursday, 1/2/2019, I rent a U-Haul to go get the things the next day 1/3/2019 and they are Still not All there. They offer to deliver the items that are still not available between 10am-6pm on 1/4/2019. After calling that morning and afternoon and being blatantly lied to they finally call back about 5pm to state that they had just received the items at the store, AFTER I’d been waiting ALL DAY for them to get here. I call and speak to a manager who states that they had some discrepancies and the items are sure to be delivered today 1/5/2019. Here we are at almost 4pm on a Sunday afternoon and they still have not arrived with my items. Things that, again, have been paid in full and I have received NOTHING BUT LIES from everyone that works there. It’s like it’s fine until they get your money and then of course, all sales final, which I don’t really care about but can I at least get the products that I’ve paid for. At 8months pregnant this is the most frustrating thing I have had to deal with and it is not fair. The people here can’t even be honest about what’s going on. ill be taking this as far up the American Freight ladder as I can. I refuse to let anyone else be treated this way by these conniving liars if I can help it. This is just down right ridiculous.

Do not buy from this company! I made a purchase over 3 weeks ago. So far, they promised it was in stock, then I paid in full, suddenly its out of stock. Since then they made a partial delivery of the wrong items bought, they promised to follow up which they have not. They have made no offer to make this deal right and reaching corporate is a simply mountainous enterprise.
I am filing complaints with the Revdex.com, Dekalb County Ga, and will make sure the public knows this company is run by criminals.

If I could give a complete 0 I would! I bought a living room suit, and Kitchen table and chairs, they said the warranty would cover scratches, tares, Scotchgard. But when I tried to just get my stuff fixed they never responded! Here I am 1 year later with furniture that is broken down

I purchased a rocker/recliner chair with an extended warranty from American Freight. The chair lasted less than a week before it broke due to a cheap design. I filed a claim. The manager said that it could take up to 30 days to process. I waited 30 days and went into check on it. They said that they would have a chair in within a week. I waited a week and went back in to check on it. They said that there was never a warranty claim placed so I made sure that it was placed this time and received a receipt that said it could take up to another 30 days. I waited another 30 days and still have not heard anything. It has been over 67 days since I filed a claim and have not received anything, not even a phone call or letter.

I am writing to express extreme dissatisfaction with American Freight located at *** Fort Lauderdale, FL.
I recently moved into a high-rise Condominium. My unit is on the 4th floor. I decided to patron American Freight on 12/5/19 and I must say, that I was foretold by friends that this company does not have quality furniture.
However, my family has ordered from this company and I myself previously ordered a large dresser and did not have any issues. The shopping experience was pleasant. I was prepared, since I took screenshots of the furniture I wanted. It was just a matter of showing the salesman the pictures and verifying if the items were in stock. My order consisted of 3 bedroom sets and a dining table set.
I had no interest in buying a living room set because I did not find any appealing. In the long run, I am thankful I ended up patronizing another company to order a living room set.
So, as I mentioned the 3 bedroom sets, along with the dining table set amounted to $2,331. I was given the option for delivery plus assembly at $140 cash only. To simplify my move-in, I opted for the delivery with assembly. Little did I know, my misfortune would begin.
On the day of delivery 12/7/19, my co-worker along with my 2 children (son 11 years, daughter 10 years old) were present. My coworker and children can attest as witnesses. The delivery drivers, (2 men with a husky build, standing over 6ft tall and weighing up to 200 pounds) were setting up the furniture and one of them happened to ask me "Where do we put the boxes?" My coworker, had a puzzled look on her face and advised "Their supposed to take the packages with them." I told the men that I would check with the property manager if the boxes can be thrown in the dumpster. I called the property manager, in which he explained the men have to take the boxes with them because the large boxes will take up too much space and the garbage that exits the trash chute will overfill. I relayed this information to the delivery men, and the darnest thing happened in which he began to complain amongst his colleague that the building has a big dumpster yet they cannot throw out the boxes. I admit that his reaction left a negative impression on me. Consequently, I was not leaving a tip! In fact, I became concerned to the point that I felt I should follow the men to assure that they indeed take the boxes. It took me roughly 5 minutes to lock up my unit after the men left/ finished their job. To my surprise, I did not find them loading the boxes back in their truck. Instead they were already in their truck driving off.
Later that night, my property manager called me and said all the boxes were left in the dumpster. He even took pictures of the dumpster and advised that I would be fined for leaving the boxes. I was absolutely mortified! I immediately took action to physically remove the heavy boxes out of the dumpster. In the process of removing the heavy cardboard, I cut my finger and endured smelling foul if not toxic air. I left the boxes to the side of the dumpster and took photos. The next morning 12/8/19 I called the delivery drivers, and left a voice message but my phone call was never returned. I contacted American Freight and reported the incident. I was met with the explanation that the drivers are a separate business "***" and that I would have to speak with the owner, ***. I requested further information of the business entity address, in the event if I need serve papers to file a lawsuit. I was told that I would use American Freight's address. Not once was I ever contacted by the owner. A few days later, on the evening of 12/12/19 I received the fine via mail totaling $150.00
I left work early to come in person on 12/13/19 to resolve the fine. The store manager Antoine, took a photo of the fine and attempted to reach the owner. After waiting nearly 10 minutes the store manager provided me his direct telephone number and told me to call him if I do not hear from the owner. On December 14th at approximately 4pm I called the store manager after I did not hear from *** practically all day. I believe *** did not have the intent to apologize or call me on this critical matter. I urge Corporate office to review the phone call with Antoine if the line is recorded. Antoine stated, that the owner was told from his drivers that my 11 year old son (weighing less than 100 pounds, and standing at 5ft 2 inches) disposed the boxes into the trash chute and the boxes that were too large to fit in, he physically threw into the dumpster. Antoine put the owner on the phone but I was outraged at the blatant lies and drove to the store. In person, the owner further stated that he did not need to deal with me or apologize until he saw proof of the letter.
The lack of customer service and empathy was beyond incredible. The effort to resolve was futile. The only person willing to correct ***'s Moving company was Antoine. Eventually, I was given a check written out to my Association but that was after I declared seeking legal counsel. The experience with American Freight and *** was disgusting. If American Freight truly cares about their clients and reputation, they need to instill having their own delivery service that prides in having integrity and not using a deceitful 3rd party business.

came into your Montgomery Alabama store last week and saw mattresses we liked, gave a down payment to put them on layaway.
today 12/6/2019 decided to go and get the mattresses, mattresses were sold never put aside on lay away as told, and was also told if we have waited another couple of days we would not have gotten mattresses or a refund. Now we are being told refund would take up to 2 weeks. If we gave you your required down payment to place items on lay away, why wasn't they immediately
taken off sales floor and set aside. Now that you didn't have the items, why not accommodate me by not trying to "upsale me"and refund my money from your store. I have my receipt that you gave me for the down payment to do lay away.
Also most business attitude is ok we made a mistake let's see how we can make this right for you the customer..your store staff attitude was like I could careless about you not getting your mattresses or a refund. your staff make one feel like its a shady place to do business.

If I could provide a negative 5 stars I would. They smile in your face and lie to you about the product. They tell you it's great - but its crap. I brought a livingroom set 2 weeks ago. The ottoman broke when my 60 lbs nephew sat on it. I had to call 6 times. They were rude as hell. I am supposed to be getting a new ottoman today but I have to go pick up and they offered me some crappy lamps. I placed a dispute with my cc company and when I told them the store finally called to exchange I was told by my bank to leave the claim open because sometime that company doesn't honor what they say. It's a shame even the bank knows what a *** this store is.I have a good friend who works for a news station and they have a segment about bad local companies here in Richmond. If they dont make this right everyone will know how horrible they are. I will post again to update what happens today when I try to exchange. I was going to buy 8 dinning room chairs from them. After this mess wont be purchasing there

I was immediately after I walked in, The manager approached me and was very helpful. I knew within minutes what I wanted to buy and was out of there pretty quick. I came to pick up my items within an hour. I highly recommend this place

I bought a sectional from this place on 10/25/19 after a week the arm broke on it. I called the place I got it from they said there’s nothing they can do and I had to make a warranty claim thru the warranty I paid for with it. I also reached out to a regional manager and was told he was in p.a and was at a store that had the part that broke and he would bring it to the store in ***, ny that I got it from and would call when I can pick it up. I have yet heard anything back from anyone and still have a damaged sectional. So I went ahead and repaired it myself with glue and screws. I would request that I get a full or parcel refund for the sectional.

If I could leave less than one star I would! I had issues with this place from the get go. They made me come in three different times just to cancel a chair off my order. The manager lied and said the financing place was closed so he couldn’t call and cancel the chair off my order however they were open Cuz I called as soon as I left the furniture place. It took him an hour to cancel a chair off my order because he kept stopping to chat with co workers and talk to other customers. When I went to pick up my furniture they said they couldn’t find it. Offered me a free lamp and the love seat I ordered. Then they found my furniture. It took an hour to get through all that. Then I get my furniture home and out of the plastic and I see that the love seat has rips in the back and patch’s where the material was all scrapped up and missing and ripped. The cushion one on side is ripped at the bottom and you can lift it and see the filling in the cushion. I’ve had this furniture for 9 months and you would think I’ve had it for 6 years. The cushion in the middle of the couch sinks way down when you sit on it and you literally sink back and down and can feel whatever is under the cushion. The material is rubbing off and there’s strings sticking up. The cushion on the love seat is dipped really low and it’s like whatever was supporting it is broken and no one ever sits on the love seat. I am paying way too much for furniture that is such poor quality and I can’t even get new furniture because I’m still paying for this awful furniture!!! I should have looked at other reviews before I went to this place! Poor customer service and poor quality products! I get that this place is a discount furniture place but you would think you could have furniture for more than 9 months without it literally falling apart on you!!! I will never purchase furniture from this place again!

On 09/28/2019, I entered American Freight Furniture and Mattress, located at ***. I purchased a bedroom set, sofa, and recliner. The bedroom set and sofa were delivered on 10/12/2019, but the recliner was not on the delivery truck. I paid the required delivery fee of $65 at the time of delivery. I specified to the salesman, when I purchased the items, that I wanted one single delivery and that I would wait for all items to arrive at the store prior them being delivered to my home. I asked the delivery driver about the recliner and he stated that it was not in yet. I called the store on 10/21/2019 and asked about the recliner, and was told that it would be delivered the following week. Two weeks went by, so I decided to visit the store on 11/05/2019. I spoke with an employee about the recliner. He looked up my account and said that it would be coming in on a truck the following week. Yet another week went by, so I called the store again on 11/14/2019. I spoke with Wesley, the original salesman, and he said that he would look into the problem and return my call once he went into the back and checked on the status of the recliner. As of 11/19/2019, I have still not yet received the recliner, in which I have already started making payments for. I have not spoken with anyone from the company since I was told to expect a call back from Wesley.

If I can rate a ZERO I would! I started my business with American Freight back on 10/11/2019. We stepped inside the store to pick out a bedroom set and a dining room table. We was assisted by the manager Blake and showed him which set we was interested in. We picked the black Ebony bedroom set which we was to receive the bed frame, mattress, dresser and mirror. Also, we picked a dining room set which we was to receive a table and four chairs. He asked us when we needed our items and we told him that we were moving into our new apartment on 10/31/2019. He assured us that all items will be delivered, there is a $75 delivery fee, and that all items will be in stock by that date. I felt accomplished that I was able to check items off for my new apartment. On 10/31/2019, I receive the call from the movers that they only had my bed frame, mattress and mirror. I was missing the dresser and the dining room set. I’ve NEVER received any communication from American Freight that these items was on delay nor have I received any communication ahead of time letting me know when I will receive these items. I contacted the store on 11/02/2019 and I spoke with Blake and explained to him that I never received any communication from this store that I would not receive my dining room set and dresser. He explains that he was waiting on the dresser to come from Dayton, Ohio but he had the dining room set. He also states that once he receives the dresser he will delivery both items for no charge right away and he then thanks me for being so kind and states he will put $100 off towards my next purchase. Now keep in kind Dayton, Ohio is about an hour away from American Freight. Days go by and I still have not heard anything! I’ve contacted the store on 11/07/2019 and spoke with a gentleman. I then AGAIN explain the whole story of what items I’m missing. I’ve became frustrated with this whole process I’ve requested the dining room set to be removed from my account since I wasn’t getting anywhere with either associate. The gentleman stated that he will remove the dining room set and will have the dresser sent out immediately. It is now 11/11/2019 and I still have not received an update. I had to personally step inside the store today with my newborn in order to get things fixed a little. When I stepped inside the store I wasn’t greeted at all! I finally stopped Ethan who was the manger today and re-explained what was going on and what items I was missing. I also went on to explain that I’ve been trying to get this resolved since 11/02/2019 and that it is ridiculous that I had to drive 45 mins to the store with a new born to make them help me. He took a look at my account and didn’t see that the associate of who I spoke with on 11/07/2019 removed the dining room set off my account. Ethan removes the dining room set and brings out the dresser. The whole time the dresser was in the store and I was never informed! He states he will have the dresser delivered on 11/13/2019. I then go on to explain to him that I would like to know how he can credit my account for the first payment of the dresser. My first payment is due on 11/15/2019. Let’s keep in mind again I’ve been working on this since 11/02/2019 and no one communicated from your store that I wasn’t going to receive my items on 10/31/2019. He rudely explains to me that he cannot help with that and tries to remind me that I’ve received my other items. He showed no sympathy towards what I was trying to explain to him. He kept walking away and just did NOT care at all. I will be contacting corporate and the regional manager tomorrow morning. This company should understand that I should not have to pay for the first payment for the dresser. I do not want to speak to another manager of this store. I want the regional manager to credit my account for the first payment of the dresser due to the lack of his/her employer’s communication. I will NEVER do business with American Freight again!

On June 1, 2019 my wife and I went to American Freight located in Harrisburg Pa on Allentown Blvd looking for a bedroom suite.We came across one that we liked.Tyler was the salesperson and he explained the terms of the contract including financing, and delivery(if needed). We gave Tyler $10.00 to hold the purchase.We did let him know that we would have to have the furniture delivered.
On Aug 15 we paid our remaining balance of $1996.00 with cashier check #*** in full.At that time we set up a delivery date for Sept 6th no later than the Labor Day holiday with a final delivery date no later than Friday Sept 13th.
Unfortunately we never received our merchandise.I have contacted them numerous times by phone and in person.The last date that I was given was no later than Wednesday Oct 30th. On this day 10/30,we never received the furniture or a phone call.So the next day 10/31,I called them no one answered so I left a message.
As of this writing Wed.11/06,my phone call was never returned and we never received our furniture.

I purchased a 2 piece vinyl sectional from American Freight in July 2017. About Apr - May this year I noticed that the vinyl was peeling off and looked like it had been for a little while before I noticed. I also have a dog that made slight scratches in the couch from hiding toys. When we purchased the couch we purchased the 5 year warranty from Guardian that American Freight offered because they told us that if anything happened to in in the 5 yrs it would be fixed or replaced. And I asked specifically about pet damage and the salesman said that was covered as well. Well in Jun or Jul I created a claim on the Guardian website per the instructions in the warranty packet I received with the couch and a week or two later they emailed me saying that damage was not covered. I then proceeded to contact the American Freight store where I purchased the couch from and the guy I spoke with told me that it should be covered and to submit a description with pictures to them via email which I did. I waited three months for a response which I never received so today I call the store to get a status and they called guardian and with in minutes I received and email from guardian saying that the damage was not covered. I only purchased the extended warranty because they advertised it as covering everything that might happen to the furniture within the 5yrs. This couch is only 2 yrs old and is trash. How are you going to advertise and sell a warranty that doesn't cover anything. I would request a replacement but I do not want to deal with another couch that will only last 2 yrs so I would like a full refund ($914.90) of my purchase so I can buy a couch from a different vendor and hopefully get a better quality item.

American Freight will provide the customer with a store credit for the amount paid for the sectional and the customer can stop into the store location at their convenience to re-select into another product.

I have had my eye on a Jet Black sectional for a while so my family and I stopped by the store in Morrow Georgia to see what they offered. The sales associate was very friendly and helped me and some of my siblings order what was needed. I was told that the deliver fee was $80 and it would be delivered the next day. The sales associate verified the information with two others from the location that my delivery fee would be $80 even though there was a location closer to me that had the same sectional that I wanted. The item was supposed to be delivered on Monday. I waited all day for the driver to tell me that I was last on the list to be delivered to even though I was the furthest and they would have to reschedule. I was mad because I waited all day but I was trying not to make a big deal out of the situation. The next morning the owner of the delivery company called me and told me that I was going to have my sofa at 1pm but with a fee of 130. I was shocked, How could I be upcharged when they were a day late. I had to shift my world around to for THEM. I WAS LIVID. I told the owner that I needed to contact the store manager and see if they could waive the 50 upcharge. I was told that there was a "miscommunication" and the orginal fee was 130. Now I have all of my siblings and my mom present went making this purchase and I know for sure that the delivery price was 80. I advised the delivery person to please deliver because the general manager was very rude to me and tried to speak to me like I am a toddler.My set finally arrived at 2:30pm after going back and forth. My mom and sister came back to the store to see if they could resolve the issue and turns out that their order was missing a sofa that would take a week before it was shipped. Because of this my sister and mom canceled a 4k order because of the way they were treated by the store manager and because they didn't have the merchandise that they claimed to have..... The sad part is a wanted to spend ALOT more than my mom and sister because I am redecorating my home but this store will never see another dime from me....

I ordered a bed from the Waco location August 28, 2019 where the manager told me the bed (full size Gabby in color Teal) would arrive in 2 weeks no later than 4 weeks. I didn't receive any communication from the location about an ETA on the bed so I contacted corporate with an email more than a month later. I heard from 2 men Kevin and Joshua who left voicemails for me to contact them. I called both back and only was able to get into contact with Joshua. When I spoke with Joshua October 12, 2019 I believe he apologized about the lies told from his store manager and also apologized about the non communication and more lies told about the arrival date of the bed and offered $100 refund off of the $369 purchase price also explained some shipping issues and assured me the bed would arrive October 16, 2019 And that if the bed wouldn't be here on the 16th he would call and give me further info and another ETA. October 16th came and went with no word from anyone about the ETA of the bed. On October 18, 2019 I received a text from American freight stating my items had come in to the store, an hour later another text message saying the previous message was an error. Since that day I have not heard from Joshua again. I have not received the $100 refund he said he would issue. I have not heard from Kevin or any store employees about another ETA despite my efforts to call and receive information. I made countless attempts to the 2 corporate employees and the store and still more than 2 months after paying for a bed my child is still sleeping on a mattress on the floor and asking if her bed is coming in everyday

I had a store credit and selected a living room sofa. I was told it was already on order and items usually arrive within two weeks. I received two text one stating it was ready for delivery and the other not. I had not heard anything else since October 18th. I am moving to a new place so I scheduled with the management company to use the freight elevator. October 26th, I received a call around 12 noon the item was not in stock, unsure when it would be available. I was offered the option to come in to pick out another sofa. I live 45 miles away and had everything scheduled. I have a new place without a sofa. I want my money back to just go elsewhere and they only want to give you a store credit. I will never shop there again.. I am very disappointed.

American Freight will refund the customer.

I bought a couch set w/ 5 yr warranty from American Freight for $1637.35 in Knoxville 2 days ago. They're located just 6 blocks from my home. It arrived after business hours with a broken wood frame. The frame wobbles & recliner won't work because of damage. I immediately called the store 12 hrs later (the next morning) & manager said they "won't accept returns or give me a refund because it's now used". Keep in mind it arrived broken & I got zero use out of it in just one night. ZERO USE. Manager said "a new shipment might arrive in 8 weeks with a similar model". This is no way to treat a customer! There are hundreds of negative reviews on this company doing this to many customers. This is out right theft / unjust enrichment & should be considered a scam. They delivered JUNK & I expect a full refund as I don't trust them & will never buy from them again. I also paid $199.99 for the 5 yr warranty in which they claim doesn't even exist.

American Freight will schedule with the customer a date to pick up the furniture and will process a refund once the product is back in the store.

I purchased furniture from the store and was told that if anything happened to it for as wear and tear, that my furniture would be replaced if I made a claim within the first year. I made several claims to this company to let them know how my furniture that was purchased needed to be replaced and how my family could not use it, and they refused to replace my items even after doing all the steps that are required to file a claim. Because of this it has caused my family to be without Furniture.

If the customer can provide photos clearly depicting the damage to the items that would be covered under the terms of the manufacturers warranty, American Freight will replace the damaged items. I purchased a sectional couch from this company and had to have it replaced twice within the first 6 months. After the second time the store allowed me to have store credit due to my wife being very upset and demanding a refund. They said they don't do refunds but can give a store credit, so we thought it was better then nothing and figured we could get lucky if we just go with a different set since it seemed to be made different. We went a head a got a couch, love seat, and recliner. Couple months later we now have a love seat with no recliners because they both broke and when my wife calls the company to have them fix the problem the play games and has her calling in all the time and making her jump through hoops trying to get a couch that we can be happy with, that's not broke. I don't think we should have to go through this and believe that this company should stand by their warranty and fix the problem or refund the money.

American Freight has spoken with the customer. The customer needs parts to repair their loveseat to make it operational again. These parts have been ordered for the customer and will be shipped directly to the customers home.
