I have never been so frustrated with a a company in my lifeI ordered furniture on July which included a bed set, sectional, chest and night stand to be delivered on my move in day July I was told by the sales manager there was a chance the chest and night stand would not be in which I did agree toWhen it was delivered I was notified I was receiving the floor model which was never discussed with me and I was told from corporate that they never sell floor modelsI called immediately letting them know the issue at hand and they let me know if would have to hold onto it and they would have to get it ordered which could take a few weeksLater that night I also found a hole in the sectionalI called the following Monday to let them know I would need a new sectional as well which they told me it would take a few weeks but they would call me back asap once they had a better estimated timeI never got a callThey finally delivered a second set of the bed set and sectional as well as the first round of dressers on August 2...every single piece damagedI called the store as soon as they opened aND later that day contacted corporate where I was talked over numerous times and in the end was hung up onI got my third set of bedroom furniture and second set of dressers that were individually inspected by the workers and delivered on Aug and when it was delivered I still found holes and scratches on everythingThey refuse to give me a refundI am now being offered to take time out of my schedule to go pick out new furniture which I will pay any different or if less receive a store creditI have voiced numerous times I work a very demanding job and get very little free time other than for a quick email or callI have been dealing with this for over a month and continue to be delivered damaged furnitureYes I have been rude and short with them which I would think is expected from someone dealing with this situationI moved to this town for a new manager position and am unable to fully unpackI partially blame myself for not having enough time with my schedule to read reviewsIt also makes me sick as a Manger seeing them continue to make me jump through hoops when I have expressed numerous times that I understand sales are final but I did not pay full price for damaged furnitureI have even been told by a worker he agrees and feels it would be best if I get my money back and be done with itI am so unhappy with this company if it wasn't $I would just walk away all together and throw everything awayPlease save yourself the time and stress and avoid this company any way possible

I purchased furniture from this called company ans in reality they scammed people Not only I pay for next day delivery and my furniture wasn't deliver next day there were missing items I called the company multiples times and they really don't care Spoken with managers, went in person spoke with a manager about this issue of missing dresser and broken drawer and he was going to take care of it but still to this day nothing Its been 5-month they stole my money still missing furniture and still have a broken drawer I WANT MY MONEY BACK FEOM THIS THIEFS!!!! Even left a voice message on a number they have listed for customer service issues and no one called me

I started a layaway with this business in January of In February I went to the store to pay the account in full with expectations of setting up a delivery date for my furniture which includded living room sets, complete bed set, one box spring, bed railings, and lampI was told only one living room set was in-store at the time and the remaining order would be available the following weekSounded genuine so I trusted my judment and pre-paid the entire account in the sum of $dollarsI didnt want to pay separate delivery feess so I asked to keep what they had until everything was inNeedless to say it took a month For beds to arrive and the living room set that was there was damaged so I had to choose something else which only consisted of love seats because thats the only thing that could fit the space that the peeviously ordered set would dwellBeds did arrive as well as the lampThe remaing living room set has yet to be located going on months after purchaseWhere abouts are still unknown and I was told it would take almost a week to receive my money back at the sum of $dollarsI was promised a $refund check from corporate which I have yet to receive to assist with the amount I previously paid for deliveryStaff was rude and obnoxious when I called to inquire about my items still owedAs of date I have not received my furniture or my money backMay I add that I also purchased accessories to match these sets in the sum off $that are going to be wasted because I dont have the furniture that was purchased in mindWarning all potential patrons to Please ask lots of questions before purchasing from this business!!!

I spent a bit over $to american freight in July of I purchased a bunk bed and a new mattressDuring the time of purchase I remembered the woman who was checking me out at the front telling her co workers that the bunk bed I was buying had “a millon pieces”American freight sends another company that they work through that handles all deliveries and set up of their furnitureI was told during time of purchase the set up fee through the company they work through would be a separate fee of $and that they only set up furniture if they “have the time” and they will call me minutes ahead to let me know they are on the wayWhat actually ended up happening was the delivery guy didn’t call me until he had already arrived at my apartmentWhen he called I told him I was not home but I can be there in about minutesHe called back after the minutes again rushing meDuring the time of delivery I paid the delivery guy $instead because I didn’t have any change to pay exactly $Then the guy said that he didn’t have time to set my bunk bed up and that he would have to come on a different day to my house to set up my furniture and he would have my change thenHe told me that he was late to his other customers and was in a hurrySo I said “ok understood” So we scheduled for the next morning but he never showedI called the delivery guy back and asked what happened to him coming he told me he “slept in too late” and apologizedHe told me he would come by in the evening and never showedThat continued for daysI had been calling this guy and politely texting him asking when would he be by to help me with set upI was constantly apologized to and given the run around each time I reached outI was told he was going to call but didn’t remember my phone number or he would say he tried calling me yet I had no missed calls from himHe also kept telling me had a “busy day”and he would be by on a certain day and a certain time but would never showMind you all these times, I would sit at home expecting this man to show upI was always nice and understanding and didn’t give him a hard time as I know they have other customers but the way I was handled as a paying customer was bsAt the end of all the bs I never got my bunk bed set up for my kids nor my damn change backI did in fact end up driving back to american freight to complainI asked to speak with a manager about my bunk bed set up so they called for the guy responsible for delivery and set up to come to the front to speak with meThe guy that came to the front was the same guy that kept giving me his word that he would come and set up my bedOf course he once again told me he would be to my home later that day to set up and that he has been busyHe even had nerve to let me know that he just recently delivered furniture to my neighbor but didn’t stop by my apartment because he assumed I already got the bunk bed upThat evening the man STILL never showedI am a single mom of and I know nothing about setting up a bed nor did I have anyone reliable to help me with the set upTherefore I really counted on that delivery guy to come throughAmerican freight does have a nice collection of merchandise but if you buy anything from them do not buy anything that has to be set up that has “a million pieces” as they will duck you to getting the furniture you paid for set upI’ll spend my money to a company that appreciates my business, respects my time and hard earned moneyI didn’t intend on leaving a bad review at the end of all this but at this point I have exhausted all of my optionsI intended to go back to purchase a living room suite but since I had this bad experience I’ll will not spend any more of my money to american freight

I bought a bed frame eight months agoI didn't open it because I got the mattress
and box spring five months laterWhen I open it the things I needed to put it
together was not thereI went to get them they didn't have any, they said that
they order them for meThey said they would call me and a week but they did not
I called them and they said they would call me right back, they nota month later
I called backI was told I could not get the I the parts I needed because the warrenty
had expiredI can pay for them

After picking out the upgraded mattress the salesperson told my fiancee and I that, although there wasn’t one available at the Carnegie store, their
other location had oneI was told that the salesperson at the other store would bring the mattress up to Carnegie or, if that wasn’t going to happen, the salesperson I spoke to at the Carnegie store would personally go pick it up and bring it to the Carnegie locationWe were then told that they were coming out to Canonsburg between 1pm and 2pm on 2/16/to fix dressers for another customer (***, the customer referred to in the response they first sent to my complaint) and that they would deliver our upgraded mattress while they were out hereDespite being promise that the upgraded mattress would be delivered between 1pm and 2pm on 2/16/2018, it was notFurthermore, I received no phone calls to inform me that they would be unable to deliver the mattress today, to set up another delivery arrangement, and apologize for not being able to deliver on their promises yet againAlthough the lack of communication and incapability to do as they promise from American Freight of Carnegie has come to be expected, it is getting very old and extremely frustratingI can no longer trust that American Freight of Carnegie will ever deliver this mattress as I have been promised times in less than weeks that it would beAt this point, I no longer want the mattress or the couch and loveseat for that matterWhy? Purchased furniture set on credit applied for and was to be delivered due to delivery fee & extra fee for same day delivery Furniture was delivered and day after noticed product was defective (torn open & nicked spots)/poor quality I called the store back and let them know and from here the nightmare began The customer service after the purchase (and I even purchased the protection) has been little to none Jason from Hendersonville store has been nice and seemed genuine to want to solve the problem but he went on vacation and no one else since has tried to help me I have missed work a few times based on empty promises/lies that I would get a replacement Then when I finally get the replacement the quality is the same...defective (torn open & nicked spots)/poor quality I had them just take both old & new back since both were defective and not acceptable

Confirmed.....though this was answered through a CUSTOMER REVIEW COMPLAINT NOT A FORMAL Revdex.com COMPLAINT which now this customer has filed and American Freight will adhere too by giving this credit.There will be a $store credit for this customer for 6mths, after 6mths a $charge monthly will be taken out per our policy on our receipt

On Jul 2016, I purchased two pieces of furniture from American Freight Furniture and Mattress store, located in North Charleston, SC and our salesman was Randy We purchased the a Flannel Espresso sectional couch (pieces - Corner 3810LSFFE, Cuddler 3815RSFFE, and Loveseat 3822ALFE) along with a Gazette Basil recliner (AF7409) At the time of purchase, we did not have a home yet as we had just moved to the Charleston, SC area from the DC Metro area Randy assured us that once we found a home, please contact their store to setup delivery of the furniture, which we did The day of the delivery, I called the store as the driver had not arrived at the specify time The lady on the phone seemed put out to have to even talk with me Thankfully the furniture did arrive and the delivery driver and his helper set the furniture up The delivery driver noted a hole on one of the sections of the couch He made noted of it, I snapped a photo, and he said he would notify the store of the

I don't know where to begin, because I am so angry with this company, and filing a complaint here will hopefully gain some traction with a PROPER RESOLUTIONIn the end of October, my wife and I went into the local furniture American Freight in Port Orange, FLWe found a particular sofa/loveseat set that we both liked, and paid upfrontWe set the appointment for the middle of November, we were moving to a new place and wanted to make sure we had the furniture there the weekend after the new home becomes oursOn the day of the delivery of the furniture, we receive a call from Tim, the man who sold us the furniture and the manager of the local storeHe tells us that the furniture was damaged with several tears on the loveseat and sofaHe offered to replace the furniture in to days and not charge us a second delivery feeMy wife and I were completely fine with thatThat to days came, and we heard nothingMy wife and I were very busy people and we couldn’t call them right awayIf they didn’t call us, we would call them on the weekend, when we had more timeWe had to call them today (12/2/2017) to find out what is the deal with the furnitureThey received the furniture yesterday afternoon, but did not inform us of the furniture delivery, or when it would comeDid I forget to mention that the person we talked to today was Tim, the local manager? Took the money and ranNo goods or services receivedI paid in full and they immediately withdrew fundsI asked for a refund ONE DAY LATER, but havent received anything except scripted responses from the branch office ("it should be in the mail" and my favorite deferred "call corporate in Ohio"Nothing but telephone run around from "corporate" after multiple messages left with order #, transaction, etcA MONTH without any resolution and unfortunately I just now see all the other customers having to involve court or the Revdex.com

THIS PLACE HAS BED BUGS!!! YES BED BUGS They just sold a mattress to my son and his GF $for mattress and box spring They got it home to the newly remodeled house and days later they were bitten no less than times by bed bugs We found them in and on the mattress and box spring that morning They are disgusting They called the store and the store said to bad so sad, we have your money there is nothing we will do DON"T buy anything from these crooks They just would like to change out the mattress and box spring for something new The store will not do it They spent money to stay in a hotel when they had the house sprayed, they did not get any bites for a week They purchased one of these mattress protectors to keep the bugs in, sprayed again Stayed there one more night, They were bit up again when they woke up My hope is we can somehow get them out of the house DON'T buy anything from this dirty nasty place I have been told, what places like this do, is buy used mattress and repackage them as new That is the only way this mattress could have gotten bed bugs unless it got them from their storeIf that is the case, every piece of furniture in the store would have bed bugs in it DO YOU want to take that chance? PLEASE share this post so people won't spread BED BUGS to everyone in TOPEKA
