I did a lay a way at American FreightI paid the lay a way off a living room set, coffee table, end tables and lampsI paid my lay a way off on 11.11.2016, I advised the furniture company that I would like my furniture delivered to my house on Friday, November 25, The furniture was delivered on that date, however, I realized that the furniture was the floor model of the loveseat and the rocker reclinerThere is a tear on the loveseat and also a mark on it I went to the store and spoke to the manager, Sean and he advised me that he would gladly order me a new loveseat and rocker recliner I contacted the company's headquarters and Kyle called and advised me to wait until after the holidays for delivery of the furniture I contacted the Penn Hills American Freight and spoke to the manager Sean on Friday, January 13, 2017, and he advised me that the furniture had to be delivered from the furniture manufacturers and he had no idea when the new furniture would be delivered

We have been complaining to American Freight the last months regarding a couch that broke apart after months of owning it American freight claimed they would replace the couch no charge and still to date they have not even contacted usWe provided pictures, sales receipt as they requested they still are ignoring us in regards to this matter

Bought a Stewart and Hamilton Mattress from American Freight in Nov Took it home myself and put queen size mattress and box spring on my bedAbout 2-months later, noticed the mattress was beginning to sink were I sleep(I weigh pds) so I turned mattressother side began doing the same thingCalled American Freight and was told to send on pics for manufac warranty and that someone would get back in touch with me in about a monthHeard nothingcalled again AF said they didn't receive any picsresentno answer againcalled againpictures were not good enoughsent more picsno answer from AF againwent to storeManager says that he sent pics but when I went behind counter and looked at computer, the manufacturer had a notice on computer that pics were not good enough againAll I want is a different mattress or my money backmy goodnessI've even asked fro the Stewart and Hamilton customer service number and no one will give it to me or they claim that don't have

I purchased a mattress from American Freight, and while their customer service is better than some, the execution of their commitment is shakyI was overcharged initially on the purchase and had to be inconvenienced for a refundI had a hassle with delivery and it hasn't gotten any better sinceThe mattress is faulty; I wanted a firm mattress and this is not, the middle of the bed started to sink immediately and within two weeks of purchase, I was calling to complain about the mattressThe mattress was delivered on November 12, and by the second week of December I have been sending them emails and pictures about the sagging of the mattressIt is now at the point where the beam on the box spring has broken because I can now feel it in the middle of my bedI have never experienced a box spring having issues because of a mattress, but this has taught a new lessonI have been in emails with the store and they have given me excuses saying my photos are not sufficient enough for

On their website they have a photo of mattresses listed for $I sent my husband to the warehouse to get the mattresses that were in the photo and he came back with 2" in thick mattress topperI took them back and asked for the large mattresses that were in the photo and he stated that was just a picture of generic mattresses that carry in the warehouseI asked why wouldn't they put a photo next to the actual mattresses they were selling for $instead of random warehouse mattresses he stated he didn't knowI advised him that was advertising

In May, I purchased a sofa and loveseat set and a bedroom set from American Freight in *** *** NY and paid for delivery services Within two weeks, the seam started splitting on the loveseat I promptly contacted the store and was provided with instructions to file a warranty claim which I did It took over the expected time to receive approval to exchange the loveseat via the warranty claim The loveseat was exchanged and I was not charged a delivery fee for this exchange I filed another claim regarding the sofa as the same thing occurred in which the seam split After waiting four weeks which was the expectation set from my previous claim, I was told that it could take up to six weeks, which this was not previously explained I followed up again and received approval on my warranty claim to exchange the sofa I was instructed to call the store to arrange for the exchange When I did, the employees I spoke with said that I would be charged a delivery fee even though

American Freight will be happy to refund this customer on the dissatisfaction of his purchase. Please have customer call the store for details to obtain

I purchased several rooms of furniture at the end of April for our new apartment for our wedding in June So, during May and June the furniture was not usedIn September, I noticed a tear along the seam of the cushion near the leather trim I immediately contacted the warranty company They indicated that the warranty did not cover seams, as it was a manufacturer issue So, I then called American Freight, and they also agreed that it was a manufacturers issue and they would take care of it They gave me an email to send pics......email is *** It took several tries and a few weeks before the email was accepted That was at the end of Octor beginning of Nov I have not heard anything and have no way of communicating with them

My husband and I purchased a Carlton by Stewart and Hamilton When we received the mattress you could clearly tell that there was a large lump in the middle of the mattress Then one laying on the mattress one side is extremely firm and the other side extremely soft So soft that you feel like you are going to fall off of the mattress I have called and spoken with American Freight and they will not refund the money and was asked to take picture of the mattress with a broom handle laying on top of it so they can see if there is an issue We were then told that once the pictures were received by management and American Freight they would then send off the pictures and paperwork asking for a replacement mattress I feel as though this mattress should have never been given to any customer and then I have to wait 2-weeks for the manufacturer to tell me if I get a replacement when they have $of my money And on top of that sleeping on a terrible mattress for the next 2-weeks Not happy with the outcome on American Freight side or Stewart and Hamilton which are the manufacturer

I purchased a couch and picked it up on 4/06/It was all wrapped in plasticThere were supposed to be legs for the couch and only four were includedI have called three times and each time they said they were going to mail the four legs that were missing and it is now 4/30/and I have not received themI drove minutes to pick up the couch and they forgot to put the four included legs in the enclosed packageI advised each time that I am not driving minutes there and minutes back to resolve an issue that they causedEach time they said that it would not be a problem and that they would mail it

This customer called up to American Freight Corporate office not only being disrespectful but began yelling and would not listen to any reasoning! Our store tried to explain multiple times but the store could not get through to her either
The picture she saw had a set price that belonged to a
mattress that was of foam, customer was shown this mattress when she came inThey did not want that mattress because it was of "just foam"They selected an upgrade of this mattress which had coils and foam which was of more moneyThis customer was explained that it was more money but choose to buy it and take it home anyway

Problem number -On April 21, I made a $down payment on a sectional sofa at the Antioch, TN office of American Freight I returned to the store on June 02, to pay the remaining balance of $and to let them know I was moving out of town and needed to pick my merchandise up on SatJune 04, I was informed that my sofa was no longer in the store because I wasn't making weekly payments I was not informed by the salesman that I needed to make weekly payments I made $down payment and if I had known making weekly payments would not have been an issue This was a major issue because I had rented a U-Haul for hours and people to help move The manager on duty on Sat June 02, called the Clarksville store and arranged for me to pick up the same kind of sofa at that location

I ordered furniture from this company on March 23rd, I had ordered a dinette set and a bed frameI have been making payments every weeks on time to this company to pay for these purchasesI got everything paid off July 17thWhen it comes time for me to get my furniture delivered to me, they don't have my table top in stockThey tell me that they have to order it and it could take around weeksI do not understand how they do not have this in stock after I ordered it back in MarchThey knew when my delivery date wasBecause of the frustration of this and how my service is poor, I asked for my money refundedWhen I asked for my refund, they told me it would take weeks to a monthIt should not take this longI want my refund now and no more contact with this business

at time of purchase was in my car, unable to take deliverytold them I would be back tomorrow, holiday was next day

about a month ago got a new manager and he tells me a paper work problem, that's why I never got a call it was in
seems someone signed for my mattresstried working with manager for past month, nothing resolved, just excuses
like waiting on president, waiting on fraud, reviewing security tape, comparing signaturesand onso they have not contacted me on this at allI have always have to go themits time something is done!
