I am writing over a situation that has become one of the biggest nightmare's anyone could imagine - all from buying furniture at American Freight located in Altoona, PA I had purchased a living room suit that included a sofa, couch and chair for $2062.76, which was delivered to my home on Dec 23, On Dec25, I reclined the sofa and the part where your legs were to go had the stiching all unravelingOn Dec27, I waited for all the salespeople to return and then informed them of my situation with the couch - I was then told not to worry about it - they will take care of it and gave me an email addto send pictures and I sent pictures showing the damage and was told over the phone - I told the manager Eric M*** the tags are still on the sofa and it was never used - I reclined it on Christmas Day and seen all the stiching unravelingEvery one kept telling me I would be receiving a new sofa and I continued to inform them that it hasn't been used - tags

I purchased the Bingo Brown loveseat and sofa combo on 2/04/and on 2/10/one of the main wooden support bars is beginning to push through the back of the couchOn 2/10/I called the store and asked to speak with someone that can help me, told them about the issueHe then said to take some pictures of it and send them to the store's email at ***@americanfreight.us
I did this as soon as I hung up the phone and did not hear a responseafter waiting a week I called the store again and asked what was going on with the complaintThe same person I talked to before answered the call and said he had not herd back from the factory about weather they were going to issue a replacement or not, but they should be calling tomorrowthat was weeks ago
My receipt says all sales are final but it also says there is a limited warranty from the manufacturer, and the person I talked to said it was days

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find the resolution is satisfactory to meLast items were delivered as promised, but this should never have taken so long to be resolved

american freight furniture and mattress is running an ad that is very deceptivethe mattress ad says for a full mattress.I drove miles to purchase and the price almost doubledthey stated you have to click on the ad again and it says in very small writing sold in sets only.so the mattress separate is so I guess the box spring is only worth if they are each putting a set at this is a very deceiving way to get you come inI guess some people go ahead and buy it out of shear conveniencethis a shady way to run a businessthe manager refused to do anything about it and acted like he didnt care either waythen he walked out behind us out front and lit a cigerette and just kinda starred at us terrible customer service .rude managerssee ya at the going out of business sale

It is unacceptable for me to drive over an hour to make an exchange of furniture. There is a location closer to my home that I would l prefer to go to because the store managers was very rude and confrontational while I
trying to gain an understanding of my sale. I do not feel comfortable nor safe while interacting with the staff at the Page Avenue location. There is one located at Veterans Memorial Parkway, StPeters, MO. This is my preferred location. In addition, there is a supplemental "cost" that they are asking me to pay. This is an issue that the sales rep Stephen L*** assured me would be taken care of when I made my purchase. I would like for the business to either come out and deliver the new chairs or allow me to go to a different location to resolve this matter

I put in layaway a Versailles Mattress (king size) around December or earlier not sureI made the final payment on March 20, and they told me it will take up to weeks to get the productI waited almost weeks and never got a call from them so I went to the store to see what the problem wasWhen I got there, I told them I had been waiting on my mattress that was paid for weeks agoThe crew went searching for mattress and could not find it so I waited around and finally the manager got involved and said that she told the crew that the mattress was no longer availableShe said she could offer me a better one at same price, I asked her to refund my money she said it will take weeks to get a refundSo I took her up on the offer, which was a Sea Glass Plush MattressWe took the mattress home and about a week later sleeping on it, I notice that the mattress begin puckering or where we lay at, it did not go back to its shapeSo I called the store back to complain and they told

So here we go again with this company I had to do this a few months ago for my couch and this time is for the love seat I contacted them in august for it broken in the back I still have a year warranty that they do seem to want to honor I can't tell you I will ever recommend this company to a friend or purchase from them again

When you walk into American Freight there is a big sign that says "same day delivery", there's signs all over that says thatThe bedroom furniture I have I only brought it because the salesmen claimed he went to go check and see if they had it in the backHe comes back and tells me he has the whole set and once we paid they would load it up and deliver it to my houseWhen pay then another salesman says that two pieces weren't in the store and they had to go to NashvilleSo we called everyday for over a week asking about the furnitureSome days they didn't answer then some days they told us they had the pieces they were going to be delivered but they never came or called to let us know! My experience was horrible and I will not be shopping there againWe relieved out pieces July 30,around 9:40pm after a week of being lied about where the furniture was and when we would get it! They should not advertise same day delivery and we have to wait weeks to get it! I'm still missing

I purchased a couch and love-seat set in August and also purchased the warrantyShortly after, my couch started coming apartI called the store and they requested that I send an email with pictures documenting the issuesI sent the email in April and was told by the store manager it would take four weeks to get a responseI sent follow up emails to the store manager a month later and never received a replyI went into the store where the employee called the store manager and told me that he would call or email me to resolve thisI never received a responseI contacted the district manager and never received a responseI contacted the corporate customer service and continue to get rerouted back to the district and store managersFour months have now passed and no one has answered, responded, or contacted me

They took my money and never delivered the things I ordered!

This customer will be receiving a $refund to cover the difference between the $and the $the customer is happy with that solution

This customer has been explained several times, that the replacement shows from the manufacturer coming into inventory this Friday the 11thMs*** will be notified when they come in and will be delivered free as explained to her also
AMERICAN FREIGHT APOLOGIES FOR BACKORDERS BUT THEY ARE
APART OF RETRAIL AND WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THAT

Please have this customer come into the store to RECEIVE CASH OF $instead of waiting for the refund check though the mailOur apologies!

Terrible! Paid for merchandise with a check they would not allow us to take the product till we showed them a bank statementSeems like they are not on the up and up

I am contacting my attorney to pursue legal action against American Freight due to undelivered furnitureI will stress that this is an example bait and switch business practices on a senior citizenFirst he says that the item was not on the bill when the salesperson said they were having computer problems and I she go ahead and pay $2,for all the furniture items and don't worry we'll let the sofa and loveseatNow he's stating that we no longer wanted the sofa and loveseatHis story keeps changing and I will not allow my mother to be intimidated and threats of giving the furniture back or legal actionFrom the beginning I have wanted to resolve this amicably but it's either his terms or no termsI am in the process of consulting my lawyer in Orlando, FL regarding my next stepsI agree that I have to pay something but not the entire bill because the sofa and loveseat were not deliveredI am building my case with my receipts, AMEX investigation, and now Revdex.com

Yes my name is *** *** writing a complaint on American freight furniture fuon on the 9-2-I purchased two bedroom sets of the same ones bedroom sets that I haven't received the long dresses that you put your mirror on I have called numerous of times talking to the store manager and corporate about getting my money back and letting me pick something else from the floor of the same price but they didn't want to work it out that way I ask them for the inconvenience can I just pick something that was already in the store because from my point of view they told me that the furniture that I paid for and for that they had it in the store but still waiting 3month for my dresser that I paid for and I still haven't receive my furniture them I know that I had to send back furniture that don't be long to what paid for something wrong with it or it didn't match up so I feel that they got over on me on my furniture and my money and I'm asking for help on this case and resolving it

I've been waiting on this issue to be resolved for about four monthsI received the wrong merchandise and defective merchandise I've been lied to and disrespectedAll I want is a refund so I can part ways and forget about this horrible experience
