We bought a sectional from American Freight in March of and the whole thing is falling apart from the frame in less than a year! Called them and they said to email them with photos and our informationNope haven’t even gotten a phone call or email backI’m super pissed!

The salespeople would not give any assistance as to when our furniture would be delivered after the contracted delivery service picked up the furniture They advised us they were not responsible anymoreWe called the business back to get the driver's cell to contact the driver but was disconnected three times After finally getting the driver's cell we made arrangements to get delivery the next day When the furniture arrived the driver told us he would have to go Akron for the love seat as they didn't have it at the store The driver delivered the loveseat days later

This is a horrible company to work with we went in we didn't want to buy one of their mattresses that were on the floor we ordered one and they kept telling us after we paid for it that it was on the truck coming in they held our money hostage for three weeks and tried to sell us a different mattress on our first callwe didn't want to entertain that idea so they kept saying it was on next week's truck next week's truck do not go in there if you think you're gonna walk out with anything other than the broken down stuff they have on the floor

I put some furniture on layaway I put hundred and fifty down then I when back in a couple of weeks and I paid it it off and at the time he told me I can't pick it up because there was a problem in the computer and I had to give them days to get the furniture, I gave him days and counting and still no furniture or money, nobody will talk to me about giving me my money back

Purchased a bedroom set with a mattress and when I wen to pick it up, they stated that they do not have itI asked for my refund and then they started to make excuses that they could have it within weeksThe other option that they would do is give me a completely different set that was ugly and would be the same pricewhen we went to the store, we put a deposit of $cash down, and told them we would be back on Monday for the itemsThey manager said no problem and all the pieces were in stockMonday came and that is when this all went crazy, in daysI then asked for the manager who thought that this was very funny and was joking about thisThis is not funny I stated that this is for my mother who is in her 70's and needs this and that is why we came to your storeHe stated that this is an issue that they got it wrong in the computer and none of these items are available but may come in on the truck within the next weeksI then asked for a refundHe stated that he woul

I ordered furniture and paid for it on 5-6- I ordered a piece furniture set with ott at the time I scheduled delivery and everything they had in stock I have waited over a month going on months I have made payments to my credit towards the furniture and still have NOT received it I contacted the store many times and they keep giving me the run around first they stated it was out of stock everywhere so I called some of the local regional stores and they had it in stock and held it for pick up I called the store I purchased from and they were to set up a transfer for it to this day they still have NOT transferred it to their store nor delivered it to me I keep being lied to about it I got rid of my furniture in my home under the pretense that I would have this new furniture, so my and my family have been sitting on the floor for months I am not happy and neither is my family

I purchased a faux leather loveseat on 2/29/and was told that it would be in within days, after days I started calling the store and was given a delivery date different times and after nearly months I finally get one delivered that was defective, so called the sore and was told to text them picture which they say they did not get, thus I printed pictures and delivered them myself on a Friday and was told by the manager that he would call me by Sunday with the new delivery date, which did not happen, so I called him Tuesday and was told May 6th, when May 6th came around and nothing not even a phone call I called them back and then was told June 26th which was not acceptable so I asked for my money back and was told they did not do that, so I stayed on them and on Friday June 16th the store manager Anthony called and we were told it would be delivered Sunday the 18th Fathers day between and PMAfter sitting around all afternoon and missing the fathers day celebration with my family no show or even a phone callI went to the store today June st and confronted the manager and was told that it was on the truck and they tried to call but, got no answerI sat at home waiting for their call all afternoon and no calls except from my wife to see if it had arrivedWell it is now 4:PM and I am waiting, but would recommend if some one is considering using this business to totally avoid it

My father in law purchased a mattress and box spring and picked it up on 4/When I saw the mattress it was only inches thick which was unacceptable to meBecause I live over minutes away I was not able to return it until the next week, on 5/Upon entering the store with my receipt the manager Mike told us that we could not get our money back or get a store credit because of the store policyHe said "We don't make my money off of these beds, it's just to get you in here"There was nothing to that effect written on the page long receipt that I hadI asked to see a copy of the policyHe said that whomever picked up he bed signed a statement to that effectI asked to see a copy of itHe looked through several stacks of paper from different filing cabinetsAll that he could produce was a log of signatures for pickup of merchandiseThere was nothing written on this signature log that he showed usHe held up the "policy sheet" but would not allow us to read it due to "pri

After delivery of the sofa I noticed damage to the back of the sofaI called, was told a new one would be delivered, but I was sent a sofa that was too large  & wouldn't fit thru the corner of the aptI then asked to have the sofa repaired & was told on separate dates, the 10th, 11th & then the 15th that someone would come & repair it but no one called & no one showed upThen the problem & complaint

I made a purchase from this company for $Of which it was paid in full on May04,The delivery was handled by business associates from that companyUnfortunately the delivery was missing dining room chairs which was not delivered and also the bedroom dresser which was brought to my household was damaged on left front edge of dresserIt was promised to be delivered weeks ago now going to weeksI spoke to Edwin P*** who initially informed me last week the items was inAnd when delivery guy Geraldo came to drop off also a missing night stand ; he stated the warehouse did not give him the other items to deliverToday is May , and they are still playing footsies with no definite answersI feel this company is not fulfilling its commitment to product they saleI would like them to either give me the products I purchased or give me refund for items not replaced and deliveredThe excuse they give me they are waiting for warehouse delivery

In the store itself I was helped by some of the best salesman They weren't pushy and gave me optionsWhat sucks is they don't tell you upfront that they don't have full sets of furniture there in the store until you are ready to buy, then when you are finalizing it the break the news that they are missing items and it will be about a month till they get those items In addition the delivery service makes the whole process even worse, you have to pay the drivers cash and items show up broken and abused and no one cares at all and it's a headache to get things corrected The drivers don't care if they make it on time or even if they show up at all and I spent a whole day at home waiting and never got partner my order that is coming at different times and expected to get between $35-$cash each timeAll in all I don't recommend shopping here because they don't value the customer at all and it's just sad

I was sold a reclining sofa and love seat for $I also purchased the year warranty for an additional $for both piecesThe furniture was delivered for an additional $The same night I received the sofa I sat down and reclined only to have the PLYWOOD back of the sofa to breakI could not push the foot rest down with my feetI had to straddle the foot rest and push it down with my handsThe very same thing happened with my love seatI called the next day...I was told to send a picture to the store's email address for a warranty replacementI waited a week and called the storeI was told it would be weeks before they had my particular set of furniture back in stockI wait the weeks and call for a follow up and was told it would be another few daysI was given a date and time they would arrive....the day came and went with no furnitureI called the next day...no answer, so I drove to the American Freight location where I had purchased the furniture and received horrible treatment! The have a ALL SALES FINAL clause in their contract, I assume this is to get around having to stand behind the quality (or lack of) their productsFINALLY my furniture replace meant is delivered...let's see how long this will hold up

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me*** *** I was informed that I was denied by the insurance claim but at the same time the store could have done better to credit us as customers with a uncomfortable bed

saturday august 5th my husband and I purchased a sectional from american freighton sunday august 6th we notice two holes in the lounge chair sofa and also the recliner was not workingon monday august 7th took pictures and went to american freightI spoke with chris he said I couldn't order unless I had pictures which I did, so right there I text the pictures to his computer/cash register and he put in a order for sofaI ask him about the recliner that was not working he said he would send someone out, no one never came outon august17th I call the corporate office and left a message about my concerns, called back on the 18th left message again on august 18th american freght return my call, spoke with susan, she was very short with me, we had words with one another, she basically said it would take weeks before furniture would come in, she said regarding the recliner she would send some one out on friday around pm NO ONE NEVER SHOWED UP my husband called susan right away

I never threatened anyone from American FreightI never seized anyone propertyFurthermore, it was not just a mattressThe items missing were a full, twin and queen size mattresses, along with a child's trundle bed to which I cannot put together because the bolts and screws were missingWhen I tried to contact the store manager around pm, I was told by the store manager that if I dialed that number again, she was going to file harassment charges, which prompted me to call the police and file a police reportI attempted to call the store again and spoke with a representative and I asked to speak with the manager and was placed on holdI was then told she was not thereThe representative ask me what the problem was and I told him what happened over the weekendUpon that time, I asked for a full refund and was told it will take between 14-days and the then stated he would have to set up a time to pick up the furniture and placed me on hold againWhen the representative came back on the phone, I was told I would have to bring back the furniture . I have furniture I can do nothing withI have missing parts to a bed not to mention the level of professionalism is horrible. I have spoken with an attorney and I have filed a complaint with The Ohio Attorney General OfficeAlso, upon further investigation, there have been a government action against this company on March 13th 2013, Docket Number: According to terms and provisions of the agreement with the Attorney General's Office, American Freight shall provide refunds to consumers who have complained regarding American Freight

I purchased a full bedroom set from the company nearly months agoAt the time of purchase they told me they had all the products there and so I paid and they began loading the carAfter a few minutes they tell me they cannot locate the chest that went with the set and that they would pick it up from Tampa the next day and deliver it to my house for me I never even heard from themI called them and they said a truck would be coming in the following weekend and I could call to confirm it arrivedThis happened several times, with them always saying the same thing, "we'll bring it next Sunday." This went on for about weeks following the purchaseFinally I called and asked them for a refund for the chest because I was tired of waiting and would purchase furniture elsewhere if neededThe man I spoke to said he would check on that and call me backSince then I have called several times but the man who was helping me is never available and no one ever calls me backAll I want is

American Freight needs pictures for both dresser and chest and their serial numbers.....we only receive one set dresser

This customer and the customers sister called the corporate office and our store. We told her sister that we can only speak to the person who's name is on the receipt and she took great offense to this policy and became very defense with all she spoke to. Explained to this
customer and her sister was......This customers replacement still is at our store has been told we would do an even exchange.On the customer receipt it states "ALL OUR SALES ARE FINAL". Over all our counters in all our stores there is a sign that states "ALL OUR SALES ARE FINAL". There will be no refund. We will be happy to even exchange, reselect to anything in the store of same monies or a store credit of her monies.This customers furniture over a year old
