On May 14, I purchased a sofa at American Freight in ***, **My salesperson was JakeThe store only had the loveseat in stock but Jake said he could order the sofa size for me and have it delivered to their ***, ** store where I could pick it upThis was a perfect solution since I live in ***.Jake said it would take a maximum of weeks to arrive and the *** store would contact me when it arrivedI agreed and paid for the sofa in fullI waited weeks and never heard from anyoneI called the *** store and they said I was not even in their systemI called the *** store and spoke with JamesHe checked and said a sofa "similar to the one" I ordered was delivered to their ***, ** storeI told him *** and *** were hours away from me on the opposite side of the stateJames told me the ONLY solution available to me was to drive to *** and pick it up thereI asked why it could not be redirected to ***

I ordered a queen bed and received a king size frame, queen mattress set and full size frame spannersHow?!

My wife J*** *** and I purchased a bedroom set from American Freight in Sanford FL about months agoIt's not even a year yet and the bed is already falling apartThey sold us a defective and poor quality productThe wood on bottom of the bed is breaking awayI am not sure if the bed is made out of real woodWe are afraid to sleep on the bed because we think that we will get injured if the bed complete fell to the floor overnightWe have been sleeping in the guestroom the past few weeksWe have purchased living room and other product from them and cannot believe they are treating their customers this wayThey are refusing to take care of the problem for usIt is always a fight trying to get them to assist usPlease help with this matter

My year old parents went to American Freight on 7-26-and bought a sofa and love seat, cash and were told it would be delivered in one week.The sofa was delivered two weeks laterIt has now been over two months since my flks made their purchase and have yet to see the love seat they spent $not including tax and delivery!!! My parents have called the business multiple times and are told"it will be here next week" My older sister has called and told the same thingMy folks went to the store and there was a display model of the love seat...they asked if they could just take that one and was told no it would be another week for the one they orderedMy folks are being ripped of! I have called twice today 9-28-to talk to the manager of the storeThe first call I was told the manager was unloading the truck...I asked if there was anything on the truck for *** ***,I was put on holsWhen the employee who didn't give his name came back he told me no nothing for ***.I tol

I purchased a couch and love-seat set in August and also purchased the warrantyShortly after, my couch started coming apartI called the store and they requested that I send an email with pictures documenting the issuesI sent the email in April and was told by the store manager it would take four weeks to get a responseI sent follow up emails to the store manager a month later and never received a replyI went into the store where the employee called the store manager and told me that he would call or email me to resolve thisI never received a responseI contacted the district manager and never received a responseI contacted the corporate customer service and continue to get rerouted back to the district and store managersFour months have now passed and no one has answered, responded, or contacted me

Spoke to the customer and explained how the layaway policies works, and she stated that she was never toldWe have the signed layaway sheet at the store to prove that she knew the parameters of the contract she was entering inShe was told that she could use her store credit towards something
else, and that the delivery fee would be discounted from the amount of the saleWe are waiting for her to come into the store

No where under the return refund policy does it say all says are finalIf that is how they are going to operate then they need to re phrase their policyThey also should remind you of that when making purchasesWe have already talked to many people to let them know how horrible of a company this isWe had enough money to buy the mattress we could of gotten a better deal to go else whereInstead the manager offered to discount the merchandise in order for us to buy through themWe should of just taken our business else where if I would of known we would be dealing with this

This person is not being honestI was not foul mouthI requested a refundI explained to them that there is nothing in the store that I wantI did inform Susan that I would complain that she is rudeI simply would like a refundIf the company will not refund me then I will purchase an item (in which, I don't want) and never conduct business there againIt is not ethical of a business to keep a person's money when he or she does not want to purchase anythingThank you for assisting me with this matter

Really disappointed about customer careI have purchased house full of furniture from *** MI shopThey promised to deliver all the items on the same day, which they did except the dresserI paid full amount in cash for the delivery as wellIt is been closer to a month now still they did not deliver my dresserWhen I call them they say that it will be delivered on that day but never happened until now

dollar mattress lasted weeks and was misrepresented at the storeIt is not the one I laid on at the store locationStore does not allow return or money back on this particular product

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! My husband and I have been in the market for a new living room set for quite some timeMy Husband has a chronic illness, so we decided as a family that we didnt need to go to a big name store and spend thousandsSo today as we were browsing online we came across what seemed to be a great deal from American freightWhen we get there, we are led to this horrible couch and loveseat that I wouldn't even consider for my kids playroomLet alone a true family room where we entertain our guestsSo we browse for a while with our two toddlers and see a few things that peak our interestMy family and I sit down to discuss which set we like bestWe are prepared and about to make a very large purchaseThe next thing I hear is "get off my furniture kids" my husband and I immediately get up and begin to walk our kids to the car deciding not to purchase from this companyAs we walk by the manager, without provocation, he yells at me and says I don't come to your home and climb on your furniture maybe you should keep a better eye on your kids This immediately stopped me in my tracksFirst he yells at my kids then he yells at me! I turn around as my husband takes the children to the car and ask the manager if he has childrenHe avoids the question and tells me that I am a bad mother because my husband and I, in his words were not watching our boysThis is the store manager! Picking a fight with a customer! I have never felt so disrespected and angry with a company before in my lifeAs a manager of a store myself, I would never treat anyone the way this man treated my familyAnd yelling at children! I think not! This so called business will never get a dime from myself or anyone I know ever againBuyers beware!

I purchased mattress and only rec'd now feel whole thing was a setup
at time of purchase was in my car, unable to take deliverytold them I would be back tomorrow, holiday was next day

I went to the *** store #on March 11th and me and my husband picked out a loveseat and sofa set that was not in stock at the timeThey said it was a special order and could take from 6-weeks to arriveWe agreed and did all the paperwork and gave our credit card information to have the weekly payment deductedThe store manager *** said we won’t withdraw from your account until you actually have possession of the furnitureI said ok that works and that was itOn March 16th at 12:49pm I received a call that my furniture was already in and we could pick it up or have it delivered for $dollarsWe opted to pick it up and told the lady on the phone that o would do soShe said to come after so that there would be people in the warehouse to help load the furnitureOn Saturday March 17th we borrowed a trailer and loaded my children into my truck and went to go pickup the furnitureI arrived there and was told that they were understaffed and we had to waitAfte

I purchased a reclining couch on 2/25/ On 9/25/16, I noticed that the stitching was coming undone and a hole was forming on the top cushion I called the store because I purchased the year warranty An employee by the name of Trey advised me that this will fall under the one year warranty because it was a quality issue He advised me that I needed to email Ryan R*** and submit him some pictures showing the issue I did so and also spoke to MrR*** to explain where the issue was He advised me that a claim would be submitted on my behalf and I would receive a new couch I emailed MrR*** again on 11/7/to get an update on my claim and to advise him that the tear had gotten worse He advised that he verified the claim was sent and would follow up with me once he received an update On 12/12/another email was sent because I haven't not received an update in almost a month MrR*** advised that they received a credit and are waiting on my couc

The HB to this set fits both a full size and a queen size bed. That is why it has two sets of holes in the legs. The brackets to attach the mirror to the back of the dresser are attached to the back of the mirror. Our delivery is subcontracted and their service
does not include setup but does include carrying the items to the room where they belong. We are sorry for any inconvenience to Ms*** and would be happy to offer her small price adjustment to help her find someone who could do the assembly for her

Bought $worth of furniture from themGot it delivered one of the couches were rippedCalled Robert the manager said he would have a replacement delieveredA week goes by, I called again and he said he doesn’t know when he will have the right piece in and wouldn’t give us a refundWe had to change our color of the couches to chocolate and got those deliveredThose were rippedHad to wait another week for that replacementOur dresser delievered was the completely wrong dresser and style and color, called and spoke to the manager “Jack” who apparently doesnt work there, and they laughed about it and they think its funnyOnly offered a small store creditNo refund

I bought a mattress and a sectional during one of their promotionsI decided to use their finance option for the first timeI originally wanted to do the layaway, but was told that they don't do that anymoreI asked how long the payments were and was told weeks which is monthsTurns out if it's not paid off in months they add fees and interest which drags it out a yearBut the payment is auto deducted from my account so I don't have control how much or how quickly it's paidI get no statements to know what my interest rates are, the fees, or what I still oweYepBy the time I'm done I'll have paid twice what I bought it forAnd they purposely kept that from me because I asked before I signed anything

I just spoke to the customer and she has decided to apply the $store credit towards a bedroom set she had on the same layaway

Me and my husband walked into American Freight looking for a dining room set an associate name Wesley came up to us asking if we needed any help and we asked if our first choice of a dining room was availableHe said he would go check and let us know when he returned he came back and said that they didn't have that model available so we picked out another model and he stated again that he would go and check if there was any more models availableHe came back and said that yes there was one more available so we went ahead and said we would purchase that modelHe seemed super nice and kept saying how he was going to look out for us and give us a discount and also said that he was giving us a year replacement planAnd gave us a delivery date and what seemed was a great purchase turned out to be a huge scamWhen we got our delivery the table and chair were all scratched and one of the legs of the chairs was pretty much about to break and they delivered chairs of our chair setSo I went ahead and called American Freight and spoke to who said was the manager and he stated that there was nothing he could do that we bought the floor model and the floor models are sold as isMind you why would I buy an incomplete dining set it just makes no senseAnd we were never told we were buying a floor model because if that was the case I would of never of spent that much money for a floor modelI know for a fact that it wasn't a floor model because the sale associate Wesley said that he himself would be building the chairs so he was going to make sure they were built rightSo tell me if that was the case then why did I receive the floor modelNow to go on about the chairs, the manager stated that the floor model came with chairs but our receipt it clearly says chairs and I have picture proof that the floor model included chairsThis company is a complete rip off and the associate Wesley is a scam artist please whatever you do dont buy from this company unless your looking for lies and a big head acheI am contacting the corporate office as well as the Revdex.com so they are aware of this store that scams people for their money with their lies and tricksIf I could give them no stars I would because this place does not deserve any ratings
