I went and purchased a dining set on Feb 5,and waited over hours for my dining set to be brought up front to be loaded into my truckAs I waited over hours they only bring me my table and cant find the chairs on top of it was closing time so I only walked away with a table and have to return the next day for my chairsThe employees were all joking saying they have no cash back for the customers change telling other employees to go to a bankVery unprofessional!!! I will NEVER return

Business contacted me to today and said they would replace my couch sometime this week

On 8/24/I went into American Freight and paid off my layaway in fullTotal being $We purchased a reclining love seatAmerican Freight told us that when it was paid in full the couch would be ordered and delivered to their store in 2-weeksOn 09/19/we called to see if the couch has been delivered to the store, they said no and that they would go pick one up from the other store and will have it available for us on Saturday 09/24/We called on Friday 09/23/and asked if our couch would be ready to pick up on Saturday 09/24/and American Freight stated the couch was there and anytime Saturday would be fine for pick upI called on Saturday morning to let them know that we were on our way( our friend took off work to come help us) and they stated that they did not have our couch and they did go to other stores but could not find one(which makes no sense, because why wouldn't you just call the other stores)Also called us a liar about speaking with someone the day before to confirm I asked when will my couch be in, and they proceeded to tell me it could be 2-more weeks but really have no idea when we could expect our couch to be in the storeWell as you could imagine I was very upset (and I am pregnant with no couch at all because I got rid of my old couch...expecting my new couch)I than asked for a refund, if they could not give me a delivery date ( which they could not) and they proceeded to claim that I could have the floor model that everyone has been sitting on for months at no discounted rate and it voided any warranty I could get to protect itWell of course I said no and they told me that they would not refund my money until 10/03/I explained it was American Freight that did not preform not me, I paid in full a month agoThey said to badWell I cooled off and called back, spoke to the managerI explained that this was not our fault and needed our money to buy another couchAfter a 1/hour he told us to bring in our bank card we used and he would credit our money backSo I didNow I went to my bank and they said it would be in our account within 24-hoursIt was notI called the corporate # of American Freight and told them the whole story and they said, well it could take up to days to refund it to your account...our processing center is very slowThe customer service was terrible throughout this experienceThe manager at the Boardman OH store was rude on the phone and to my faceThey smirked at me and were just flat out rudeI would advise anyone to use another accredited store like Ashley Furniture right down the street

I purchased furniture from American Freight in Metairie LA in April I made payments on the furniture because my house was not to be completed until June There were NO issues with our original salesman and my living room sectionalside chairs, dining table and chairs were delivered on time with no problems
01/I noticed that my table began to bubble/bulge in spotsI called American Freight and they advised that I have to call the Guardian Warranty Company to file a warranty claim I did that and they said that my warranty does not cover the bulging wood on my table and that I have to speak with American Freight because it is a manufacturer issue

I purchased a dresser on March 24th it was delivered to my house that same day damaged I contacted them the next day with pictures showing of the damage they did not have a replacement dresser I waited months no contact from them even though I called them every week found out that they do have another dresser in stock and have had for weeks and I still have not had my dresser replaced I have been told that they only replace and deliver on Sundays I work every Sunday they have not made any contact with me at all

No American Freight did not go out of business! This item is on B/O in fact the manufacturer halted the production of that set though still will produce; the fault of the manufacturer not American FreightThis customer has been told this, also told she is the FIRST on the list and will receive
free delivery immediately when it comes in but continues to call and be unkind to our staff!!

I ordered a piece bedroom set form American Freight in Metairie LouisianaI had to pay a hundred dollar shipping fee because a third party company does delivery for themThe furniture was packaged nicely with padding and everything.When the delivery crew left I checked the boxes and four out of the five pieces were scratched and dented.I immediately called the company and they told me that they can send me out some more furniture but I would still have to pay a delivery fee of $this timeI was confused as to why I had to pay a $delivery fee when it was their mess upThen the supervisor asked if he could refund me $dollars to keep the damaged furniture.I told him no then asked for the corperate numberI asked if I could get a refund and store supervisor told me that they dont give out refundsCorperate ask me why I called them and not the storeI told them that I did call the store and they gave me your number cause they said it was nothing that they could doHe rushe

Before purchasing I was told I could have my items delivered for "no extra" but I would have to wait a week or two for the items to come into the store, as they only had the floor model of my couch, and did not have the recliner I was told 2-weeks and my items would be in-store After paying I was asked if I would like to have the items delivered or if I would pick them up, I said delivered and the same associate who had said "no extra" informed me that they use a contractor company who charges $to charge to my home zip code I argued that she had promised "no extra" and she said "well, yeah, no extra from US." She refused to refund my money, pointing at a point on the receipt which stated ALL SALES ARE FINAL

Please have the customer read her guidelines of her warranty, GUIDELINES MUST BE MET!! It is a legal right of the manufacturers in order to replace
Again, AF will give this customer a good discount on a replacement!!

I put $down in cash to hold an item but then I found out that I don't need the item and less than 24hrs I go back to get my refund and they say I have to wait two weeks for a check and that policy isn't printed any where in the store or on the receipt I was provided with I called the cooperate office and spoke with Belinda that gave me Doug T*** the VP number ###-###-#### to Call about a cash refund he approved the refund but the Customer service Rep Marco said they didn't have $I'm the store as of 1140am on Wed 03/28/to give to me .I had to sit around and wait until they had it .I saw with my own eyes two transactions and I know they have the money he's just trying to make me wait .Because I wanted my money back

I bought two mattresses from this company and one of the mattresses has been fine and the other one has had an issue within even a yearThere's a year warranty on the mattresses I am trying to get one of the two mattresses replaced
I did everything that they asked me to do with pictures and measuring and showing that there was no stains and no malice to the mattress

I was sold a reclining sofa and love seat for $I also purchased the year warranty for an additional $for both piecesThe furniture was delivered for an additional $The same night I received the sofa I sat down and reclined only to have the PLYWOOD back of the sofa to breakI could not push the foot rest down with my feetI had to straddle the foot rest and push it down with my handsThe very same thing happened with my love seatI called the next day...I was told to send a picture to the store's email address for a warranty replacementI waited a week and called the storeI was told it would be weeks before they had my particular set of furniture back in stockI wait the weeks and call for a follow up and was told it would be another few daysI was given a date and time they would arrive....the day came and went with no furnitureI called the next day...no answer, so I drove to the American Freight location where I had purchased the furniture and received horrible treatment! The have a ALL SALES FINAL clause in their contract, I assume this is to get around having to stand behind the quality (or lack of) their productsFINALLY my furniture replace meant is delivered...let's see how long this will hold up

In the bringing of July we went to American Freight in Carnegie, Pa to purchase furniture for our new placeThey had a whole house furniture package for $You got a couch, a love seat, two end tables, a coffee table and two lampsYou also got a kitchen table, chairs andA queen bedroom suite, a mattress and boxspringThey told us we could tweak the package and upgrade things, and pay a little extra and so we didWe got a nicer bedroom set and a better mattressWe paid for the furniture in full on July 29thWe were told that they were getting a shipment in, in a few days and that they would send us picture of the color options for a couch and we could pick themIt wasn’t untill about August 10th I had to call and ask for the pictures which they gave me a Hard time about sending but they were the ones who offered to do it in the first place since we lived about mins away)So after several phones called and talking to different people someone finally sent me some options and at that time we chose black and scheduled our delivery date for Sept 9thI had a bad feeling about this place so I asked my fiancé to call and verify they had all the right information for usHe called and they didBlack couches and being delivered Sept 9thGreatSept 4th we called to verify it was coming this Saturday (the 9th) he assured us we were on the scheduleI still felt uneasy and called the 8th“Oh yes you’re all set for tomorrowThey will call you when they get your furniture on the truck”Well the 9th came and we never got furnitureI called the delivery company around because we waited all day and never showedThey told me I was never on their list to pick up todayAt this point the store was closedSo we went there first thing the next morningWe talked with the store manager Chris, to be told that not only was our delivery date in the computer as the 30th but we never had ordered a boxspring or a frameSo I said the boxspring came in the package and we asked for a frame and our sales associate, Dwayne said he would throw in for freeso Chris tells me they would throw it in at their convenience because they messed up somewhereWe also asked that they waive the delivery fee because of our troubles and they did which I was greatful for Our furniture was eventually delivered that day around 6pm, at which now the store was closedWhen the delivery people came and delivered our stuff we had realized everything was in boxes and needed to be built, which Dwayne had told us everything would indeed be assembled and setup but that was not the caseAnd then as the story gets worse they only had a pc bedroom set for us and told us that was all we orderedI was so upsetThey dropped off what they had and as we began to open boxes to set up everything, almost every single piece we had gotten was either broken, bent, scratched or damaged in some wayThe end tables and coffee table were in boxes and each piece was bent a different way making it extremely difficult to buildI paid $for a fancy lamp that was broken in two places as well as several pieces of the chandeliers that hung from it were brokenThe dresser was scratched along the sideAnd the headboard came with no directions and screws that were too long so when we put it together the screws came out the other sideNow it’s Monday I call the store manager, Chris, back again, upset because we had ordered the “whole house furniture package” which we were told included a pc set why did we only get pc? When we upgraded we told our sales associate we just wanted a nicer quality and would pay the upgradeHe apologized and didn’t know what went wrong where and they offered to send out a replacement for all the damaged furnitureI declined and said we were so upset with all the problems and quality we didn’t want it and would like to return it and he obligedWe did however keep the mattress, boxspring and couchesThe manager then told me that when they pick up the furniture they would give us a credit that day when the stuff was back to their storeThey came back that Friday to pick up the damaged stuff around and said we were the last stopThe next morning I called the manager asking for the refund and he gave me the run around on how he had to go make sure everything was there firstHe told me he would call me back shortly after he did thatIt had been about hours and I haven’t heard back so I called again and he told me he’s still waiting to hear back from the delivery company to verify what we returned since it got taken to their other storeAnother hours go by and I call back again and he says “oh yeah I can refund your card now”We got a credit of $for the things we returned when we originally spent $1,But no other real compensation for all the time and hassle of everythingThe sales associates seem to have no idea what they are doingHow did we call them twice the week before delivery to verify the date and both times we were told yes you’re on the schedule to not getting our furniture and finding out there was a wrong delivery date? HORRIBLE experiencePlease nobody ever buy from this company!! I got the number to the VP of the company as well, called him times and left a message every time about the huge problems I’ve had and never got a phone call back from him, not even from a receptionist or anythingThey have TERRIBLE customer service and I will make sure everyone I know, knows about our bad experience and the terrible quality of the furnitureThe mattress is the only thing good that came from themIt’s been weeks of sleeping on it so we’ll see how long it lasts forThe two couches we kept from there are horriblevery uncomfortable, they creek and make cracking sounds every time someone sits on itWas not worth $I don’t even want to call them back again because of the horrible experience I’ve had with themI’ll be throwing them into the dumpster and buying new ones elsewhere
