I was looking for beds for my children and I found a couple beds that I thought will suit them perfectlyThe gentleman explained the layaway policy to me and I was okay with thatHe also explained the layaway cancellation policy toHe stated I can cancel within days of the deposit but will take to weeks to get the refund backSo I went back to the store day later and wanted to cancel cause I found a better deal somewhere elseIt's been weeks now and every time I call I get the same results; "We email her and now I'm just waiting on corporate to mail the check we'll call you when it comes in." If you think you would change your mind about a purchase/layaway I wouldn't recommend them because it will be a long delay to get your refund back

We bought a swivel chair from them and after a few days, the base part broke rendering it just a chair with no swivelWe were within the return periodThey said they'd come out and replace itNone of this happenedAnd now we're over the return periodWe called weeks straight to try and get this doneJulius who always picked up the phone at the Madison location kept telling us he was the assistant manager and that they were working on itHe would not return any promised call backsThen we got fed up one day and he told us to call the regional manager Alonso at ###-###-####I left a messageWe got nothing from these peopleOur chair is still brokenNo real attempts were made to remedy itIn fact, we were deceived into going this route so that we'd be out of the return policy window

The salesman straight up lied about what the warranty covered on the couch - or did not know what he was talking about He sold us a dollar Guardian Warranty by telling us that we could just get it cleaned any time we want, and that we just need to call him This was told to me and my fiance, and we even asked follow up questions that he lied about He did not provide any information on the warranty - we just took him for his word and they did not offer any information or have us sign something He wrote his name on the receipt and just told us to call him whenever we need it cleaned Come to find out, the warranty does not cover general cleaning, just tears in fabric not near the stitches, and cleaning on stains that don't come out after being professionally cleaned Everything he said was a total lie to get us to buy that warranty - disgraceful

On Saturday, July 1st I stopped by the American Freight store as I was looking for a new couch for my living roomI was pleased by the furniture selection and low prices, as well as friendly sale associatesThe same day delivery was the deciding factor, so the couch was bought at the great price of $ I was told that I would pay the delivery driver in cash $ when the furniture arrives The couch was delivered the same day, in the evening, the only problem -it was wrong couchThe color was brown instead of greyWhen the delivery guys squeezed the couch through my door, I noticed a few light scratches on it, and when I mentioned it to the driver, he quickly denied it, saying the scratches were there beforeI was so preoccupied with the door, that I only noticed the couch was not the one I had ordered after the delivery guys already leftWhen I called the store, Demetrius was apologetic and assured me that the couch will be delivered the next day, on Sunday, between

I laid away a couch & two recliners at american freight furniture in newport news vaI was told by the sales lady it would stay there until payed offI went to pay it off Feb & they did not have my set any longerThey sold itI was then told that it was discontinued & another set would have to be made & orderedI was guaranteed it could take up to weeks but no longerIt is now March & I still do not have my living room suite or my money I paid which was $I have not received the 1st call from them what so everI called so many times and get the same answer no refunds & there waiting on it to be shipped

Purchase the mattress on June 29, from the beginning they give me the wrong mattress I paid for a beauty rest and they give me a Excelsior Queen mattress the coouple night & lay on it, it was laid in note an a the bed make noise when you turn on itIn the morning when you get up the same place you laid their is a hole in there I call several time no one give me a good answer they keep giving me the run around and no good answer I need my money back will not buy nothing more from themSo disappointment not a good sale & business place

This customer has failed to mention that American Freight has given her a free upgrade on a dinning table set, free deliveries, rescheduled dates and times for delivery, free assembly and on top of that $of compensation. Everyone at American Freight she came into
contact with helped her, worked with her and extended all that they could but it was never enough. The aggression used, the lack of respect towards others, total fowl behavior was taken to a level that was frightening plus endured by us.American Freight sincerely believes our customer service was of decency and fairness, we gave all we could and more and wanted too! But on top of all this and what is more important is the satisfaction now claimed by this customer....this was the focus for American Freight the whole time!!American Freight thanks you for using the Revdex.com

At no time was it explained that there would be a 100% leasing markup on our furnitureSo instead of paying the $we ended up having an agreement of almost Then when then when I called their financing company they flat out didnt tell me there was a leaseing fee when I asked how much and what we were paying for and if there would be any additional fees on top I have never been so dissatisfied with your team I used to recommend you too all my friends and family but now will tell them to go to somewhere name brand since I could have gotten alot more for my Now im stuck fighting with this finance company over there inexperenced reps and your shady sales practices and omiting very valuable information to prospective buyers because you wanted a sale

I bought close to $3,worth of furniture from this store and it has been a NIGHTMARE! I set delivery up about a month before my move in date, I got a call from the store manager (Craig, one of the biggest is I've ever met.) the day of delivery and he told me they have to reschedule my delivery for later in the day, that's fine
I get another call to tell me he won't deliver my furniture because he can't find a piece and won't deliver unless it's the full orderI went as far as switching the bedroom set to another color just so I can have my furniture as now I'm in an empty houseHe tells me ok, 2hrs later, he calls me for a 3rd time to tell me he won't deliver again because he can't find that piece nowIt's somewhere in the store, but be doesn't know where, he doesn't know when he'll find it, maybe 6-weeks when a new order comes in6-WEEKS?!
I then told him what should I should I do? Just cancel the whole order? His response was "Ok." Like he was happy he didn't ha

Will never shop here againOnline Advertisements are not available in storeI pulled up their website and showed the guys in Helena, AL and he said that price was for one item although the picture and wordings on website said a packageThen when I asked about the piece recliner living room SET, which I was also online, they said it’s for the sectional and a recliner! Then when I questioned the validity of their website, guy then said, “Oh, this hadn’t come in yet neither the bedroom packageIt’ll be here within a week”REALLY? I guess that was his way of dismissing what I asked regarding advertising onlineI guess they figured if you come in anyway, you’re going to buy something even though it’s not what you came in forI left disappointed and happy that I didn’t purchase anything after reading these reviewsIf you want furniture, go to a reputable place that stands by their name and what their advertisement saysI gave star because it wouldn’t let me skip it or leave a half star
