used the lay away deal,dim lit warehouse hard to read form I signed, sales guy basically led us to think once furniture paid for no more auto payments to come out(months)Come to find out it stated if wasn't paid for in months we would pay double the cost!! Stay away from this place, I am refusing to pay te other I think we were mislead(i gues I should have taken a magnify glass and flashlite to read, we are on fixed income but this taught me to not buy til you have the money, finance company American first got a little richer--shame on me for trusting sales people when forms are hard to read!!!

I purchased a sofa, chair, and mattres on a SaturdayI advised the sales person that I needed a California King mattress and box springHe told me that the king size mattress he was selling me would fitWhen they delivered it on Sunday, I saw that the mattress did not fitThe deliver person told me that the bed would need a slight adjustmentHe left the mattress leaning against my bureau, still wrapped in plasticHe said if it was a problem to call the store on MondayWhen my son saw that the mattress wouldn't fit (it is off by 4-5inches on all sides), I called the store (Port Orange, Fl)I spoke with a manager that told me they do not sell California King mattressesHe also said that he was not taking it back for a refund because it had been in the house
Because he told me that they do not sell California King mattresses, I went to another store to buy oneMy son went to American freight and the assistant mamager offered to exchange the mattresses, but again said they

If paid by a credit card it must be refunded on a credit card. This is policy of AF and also of all credit card services

I purchased furniture on the 8th of March and I was told that my things would be delivered in two weeks from that date which would have been the 22nd of MarchI called the business to see what the delay was and they told me that the furniture I chose wasn't on stock and they do t know when they will have it! I asked to receive my money back and they told me no I can't and that I would be able to choose something else instead of the furniture I purchasedThere is nothing that I would like and I would like to get my money back!

Still happy to replace or customer can reselect BUT MUST PAY THE PRICE DIFFERENCE. Claim was denied though in good faith still happy to offer these options

The salesman straight up lied about what the warranty covered on the couch - or did not know what he was talking about He sold us a dollar Guardian Warranty by telling us that we could just get it cleaned any time we want, and that we just need to call him This was told to me and my fiance, and we even asked follow up questions that he lied about He did not provide any information on the warranty - we just took him for his word and they did not offer any information or have us sign something He wrote his name on the receipt and just told us to call him whenever we need it cleaned Come to find out, the warranty does not cover general cleaning, just tears in fabric not near the stitches, and cleaning on stains that don't come out after being professionally cleaned Everything he said was a total lie to get us to buy that warranty - disgraceful

We very much wished to help this customer and explained we would do a claim for a replacement. We explained we needed pictures of the indentation in her mattress for this claim, American Freight never received these pictures. Customer came into the store and our store manager helped her
send the pictures to us so we could email the manufacturer for a credit.American Freight in good faith will not wait for the claims approval we will be replacing her mattress ASAP

Our Regional Manager has advised this customer of delivery this weekend. Customer was satisfied with this. This is now come into stock.....have left the customer a message to this fact....waiting for customer respond to our Regional Manager voicemail

I put mattress in layaway, but fortunately, I no longer need themI went in to get a refundThe manager in the store said that he could not refund meSo I called his bossHe said the same thingThey said I could only receive store creditUnfortunately, there is not anything else I want from this storeI called corporate and Susan was very rude and said that it was not her concern that I could not find anything else for store creditShe also hung up in my faceI tried calling back several timesThey put a recording up saying stop harrassingI simply want a refundAnd to never visit the store again

American Freight will be happy to refund this customerPLEASE HAVE THIS CUSTOMER CALL INTO OUR STORE TO SCHEDULE A DELIVERY PICK UP AND UPON FURNITURE BACK INTO THE STORE THIS CUSTOMER WILL BE REFUNDED
A corporate check will be sent to the store in to business days for customer to sign
for and pick up upon return of furniture

It's been almost five months now and I haven't received a new sofa or loveseat fr this company yet I've been waiting patiently, and No One has given me a call, text, or email to update me about the status of receiving my replacement setI'm starting to feel as if the company is procrastinating and trying to let my warranty expireI didn't realize purchasing a warranty would be this difficult for me to receive a replacement I'm not satisfied with this company and the way my ase been handled , so once again I'm filling s complaint, and I'm also asking when can I get my furniture replaced or my cash back? It will be one year in July since I purchased the furniture My furniture defected in November

This customer has purchased his furniture June 12th. American Freight has an "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" policy written on all our customers receipts though on top of that.....too much time has elapsed for any refund to be given and because it is a mattress and its packaging seal
has been open, voids any replacement.American Freight out of good faith will offer 10% off any replacement or reselection by this customer for the inconvenience we may have caused

Over a month ago I purchased furniture from American Freight and they had to get my sofa brought over from another store location The furniture wasn't delivered on the day it was supposed to be Over a month ago they finally delivered the sofa and it was damagedI was told to go ahead and use the sofa as they had on order and once one came in they would swap it outI finally got a phone call on Sat 3-telling me the sofa was in and scheduled delivery for Tues 3-On 3-at 6:30pm when the sofa hadn't been delivered yet I called the delivery person and they said "oh the store was supposed to call youThe new sofa was damaged worse than the original one." I called the store and was told the store manager or the regional manager would be calling me no later than Wed3/It is now 3/and I still haven't heard from anyone American Freight has the worst customer service I have ever had

My fiance and I purchased a bedroom set on 5/13/We rented a uhaul to pick up our setWe arrived, purchased our $bedroom setWe attempted to assemble our set on the following TuesdayThey failed to give us the headboard pieceWe called the store and were told "we have it, we forgot to load it up, if you want to pay for the delivery fee we can have it out to you tomorrow." I ordered furniture from this company on March 23rd, I had ordered a dinette set and a bed frameI have been making payments every weeks on time to this company to pay for these purchasesI got everything paid off July 17thWhen it comes time for me to get my furniture delivered to me, they don't have my table top in stockThey tell me that they have to order it and it could take around weeksI do not understand how they do not have this in stock after I ordered it back in MarchThey knew when my delivery date wasBecause of the frustration of this and how my service is poor, I asked for my money refundedWhen I asked for my refund, they told me it would take weeks to a monthIt should not take this longI want my refund now and no more contact with this business

We called this customer to tell her we were going to replace and that SHE MUST go into the store at her convenience and pick one out, sit in it to see if it works AND THAT WILL BE THE ONE SHE WILL RECEIVE!!
