Dear [redacted],
Our website is a communication platform like all other online dating websites.  No dating service can guarantee you will find love, meet someone equally interested in your much less get married.  It is unfortunate you did not have any success in finding your...

soulmate, however we clearly state in our terms and conditions that we cannot be held responsible for you not meeting anyone.  We wish you good luck however in finding love elsewhere if not successful on our platform.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Hello,I have read through your complaint.  You state that a girl from our site has scammed you?  If so, can you state how that has occurred.  Our anti-scam policy does not prevent you from having profiles on other sites, thus not sure if you basis for refund is because she was on a site prior to joining ours.  If that was the case, it seems she has contacted those other sites to ensure her profile is removed.  Have you made any effort to visit her in your time on the site...without doing so, she would not be able to marry you as per international law given you would not be able to obtain the fiance visa without it.  I understand you are disabled...but you may want to contact an immigration attorney to advise you on how to date and marry a foreign woman.  I am sorry you seem to have had a bad experience.  Though I am unclear if your relations ended and this is why you are upset and thus complaining on Revdex.com.  I see no evidence of foul play or scam in any way shape or form.  Thank you for understanding but we need to know what she did to scam you as per our anti-scam policy.Sincerely,Gregory V[redacted]

Hello and thanks for bringing your issue up.What is not clear is when did you contact customer service?  Was it today?  Or have you even contacted them at all.  I am not sure you have as you would have been told that your issue is not with us...but with your bank.  Your bank most...

likely has a block on your card or is restricted from use now for what could be many reasons...that they will only explain to you.  We do not have this issue with other customers and is rare to be honest.  I have a credit card that used to work on [redacted] and now it doesn't so I use a different one.  I am not sure what the issue is but the system won't let me use it...and like you I have plenty of money on my account.  Please contact your bank or credit card company and they can help you.  There is nothing we can do...I am sorry to say.  As for wanting a refund...I am unclear on what basis you are requesting it.  If you have credits on your site account...you can use them up whenever you want.  We cannot refund you for unused credits which is clearly stated on the terms and conditions page when you joined.  Though it seems you don't want a refund anyway but to keep buying credits.  Hope you are able to sort our your card issue or consider using another card.  Sincerely,Gregory V[redacted]CSD Director

Dear [redacted],I have read your complaint.  You state that  you were charged for over $200 but your claim you should be refunded $192...which is it?  I will follow up with my customer service department to find out what is the status of your account.  I understand you...

have closed it out.  Here are a few things you should be aware of that you also agreed to in the terms and conditions of our website and also when you entered your credit card details.  For starters, when you paid to join our service you acknowdedged that you wanted to have auto-charge top off your account when it got low.  You had an option to untick the box that would have disabled this but you didn't.I can assure you that this practice is hardly fraud and most common with many online business that have renewing service options such as [redacted].  I am billed monthly for my office 360 account and this was an automated charge that I didn't not opt in for.  Rather I have to opt out...and this is no different in your case on our site. You recently came back to our site, yet you claim you have had a bad experience before.  I am unclear as to the issues you may have had but I imagine it was due to not following the terms and conditions of our site. That being said, I will find out what amount of credits you have not used and refund you the balance.  Bear in mind that we do not refund unused credits as a practice which by the way you also agreed to when you signed up.  In the future I advice you read the terms and conditions of any site before you join as this will prevent you from realizing later you are unaware of the rules. Thanks for understanding,Gregory V[redacted]CSD Director

Hello, [redacted]   Thank you for your attention to our company and the effort to improve quality of our service. Nevertheless, we can not make any conclusions based on the data which was provided by you. The circumstances that are presented as facts, are not considered as evidence, as they can be adjusted or created by anyone specially. To your information, our legal team tried several times to contact your attorneys, but so far all attempts were unsuccessful. Finally our legal representatives send them a letter, but it still remains to be without an answer. We believe that until we will get results from our legal team, further discussion on this site will not have a meaningful sense. Please, consider, no decisions can be made based on information, which is not proved.  Best regards,Alexander

Review: I have been involved writing to a young lady over in the Ukraine through the Anastasia Date.com website. Money is tight, as I am only currently earning 35$ a week. This goes to food, and now phone bill and storage for my belongings until I can get a place to stay. Originally I would be able to save back the 16$ per 20 credits to send and receive a letter. But now the decided to change their pricing policies WITHOUT any notification received on my part.

Now they require a subscription of 10$ a month in order to PAY to BUY credits to write letters. This effectively raises the cost of one of my letters to ONE WEEK's PAYCHECK. I managed to buy a discounted month's sub to inform Alex that I cannot write her any longer. I tried to send her my phone number so we could talk, but the website "censored" it so that it didn't go through.

They claim it's for protection, yet they say we can give out the information over the rather expensive live telephone call through the website

The problem is, this phone call (at its cheapest) is $70 for 10 minutes. This is effectively two weeks paycheck for me and I cannot do this.

Now, due to their ridiculous charges. I am having to cancel my subscription. [redacted] (id#[redacted] and I both want to talk, but because they have instituted these ridiculous new pricing policies we cannot.

Their greedy, non-customer friendly attitude comes back as "Well, our other (rich) customers don't complain so you're just going to have to frok over this ridiculous amount of money." And if you can't sucks to be you.

My complaint is that they are ripping both [redacted] and I (ID# [redacted]) off and preventing us being able to communicate.Desired Settlement: A free ten minute call for us so we can exchange personal information, or ALL of the money back that I spent over the last nine plus months.

And a change in their pricing policies. No other dating sight charges THAT MUCH for a letter.

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted], It is unfortunate that you are on a limited budget at the moment and times are tough for you. However, please note that all of our pricing plans are indeed referenced on our website. As with any membership based service, it is understandable that you may not be able to afford it if you are on such a tight budget. I would seriously encourage you to save your money for other more important things such as food, clothing, shelter, etc., given your level of income. When your financial situation changes, you will be able to afford communicating with her and pick things back up. We cannot just give out free service to members however in spite of this situation as it is not fair and bear in mind we have cost associated with arranging the call, interpreting by providing a translator, etc. Please refer to the terms and conditions of our site if you have any other questions. We do hope your situation improves and you are able to come out in a more financial stable situation for yourself. Sincerely, Gregory V[redacted]CSD Director

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Your sudden change in pricing WITHOUT notification is reminiscent of an online scam designed to bilk people of their money and it is both dubious and criminal. It would appear that you are selling women to the highest bidder, and using intimidation tactics on the women to prevent them from communicating with authorities. Perhaps a criminal investigation should be opened into your bride traficking operations.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Response:

[redacted],I would advise you check your spam filters as emails go out to all our members if there is any change to pricing. Not to mention it is also available for you to read on our website. Please also note that per the terms and conditions of our service, we like any other company, has the right to change membership costs. The fact that you cannot even afford a basic membership is the real problem due to your unfortunate financial situation. Now you are making absurd allegations that are simply untrue...and if they were you would not be complaining now about not being able to use our services. I understand you are upset but there really isn't anything we can do and hope you will return in the future when you can sort our your personal situation.Sincerely, Gregory V[redacted]CSD Director

Review: In March **, 2014, I subscribed to the services by AnastasiaDate. Contrary to the confidentiality assurance provided by this company, my personal information had been circulated without my permission among other online dating sites such as [redacted]. This action breached the terms and condition of my contract with AnastasiaDate.

I believe that I am a victim of the sophisticated scam. I received nearly two hundred letters from the ladies profiled at the AnastasiaDate website. All of those ladies were seeking to correspond with me and develop relationship with me. However they were only willing to do so at the AnastasiaDate website and not via other means. Consequently AnastasiaDate would charge me hundreds to thousands of dollars. Although according to their “verified” profiles at Anastasia Date.com, these ladies by education were modern teachers, engineers, and mass media professionals, they claimed that they could not use their own computers, smartphones or other gadgets to network via [redacted].

On May **, 2014 I was lured for a “free of charge” chat with one of those ladies. Even thought my chat did not last more than 3 or 4 minutes, AnastasiaDate Customer Representative advised that my credit card will be charged consequently for US $30.Desired Settlement: The resolution I seek is that AnastasiaDate reverses the unauthorized charge to my credit card, immediately cancel and permanently remove my profile from all its affiliated websites.

Business

Response:

Hello,

Have you filed an anti-scam claim against any of the ladies you imply have tricked you in some way? Your message does not provide any details for me to investigate...I need ID numbers and what specifically happened and when. Also, as per the terms and conditions of our site when you registered, you agreed to receive marketing material from our sister companies...which you already noted. This is absolutely normal and is part of our network of other dating sites. If you would be so kind to file the anti-scam claim, I will be more than happy to refund your $30 as requested.

Thank you,

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I was unable to cancel my profile on AnastasiaDate.com. On May **, 2014, I submitted a written inquiry on AnastasiaDate.com to remove my profile and refund $30 back to my credit card.

As of May **, 2014, AnastasiaDate did not honor my request.

I am concerned about the framework within which AnastasiaDate operates. Specifically, I am under the impression that the letters I received were written by AnastasiaDate staff and not by the ladies from whom these supposedly originated. All letters were written in English in similar style regardless of their authors’ claimed skills levels in English. I am overwhelmed with these corny, silly, and meaningless letters.

Contrary to the letters, their claimed authors had not much to say to me when chatted with them in their native languages - [redacted] and [redacted]. These ladies clearly stated that they were unable or did not wish to communicate with me via [redacted]

or regular email.

I do not trust AnastasiaDate. As such I demand that AnastasiaDate close and remove my profile and refund $30 charged without my permission.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

Per our records your account was closed and refund issued in the form of credit card reversal of payment. This can take a few weeks to process. Any concerns, please contact your credit card company or bank...as this is beyond our control and process now.

Thank you!

Review: This company has many issues and this is only one. Anastasiadate.com is suppose to be an anti-scammer date site but it allows scammers to flourish by not following their own rules. There are some of the girls that violate the companies guarantee of no scammers then certain company representatives helped cover up the violations by contacting the girls agencies before doing a full investigation. I have enclosed only a small part of the communications... Juliya L[redacted] l[redacted] has been on there site for 7 years. She was on multiple sites under many different names which is a clear violation of their anti-scammer guarantee. The companies promise is that they will repay all money spent on any scammer but they won't. I am a 100% disabled vet and I am looking for a wife. not to be scammed [redacted] Here are 3 of the links but of course you already know she deleted them right after I CONTACTED YOU. Amazing huh. I don't tell her that I am filing a complaint but her profiles get deleted right after I contact you... coincidence? I like God don't not play with dice or believe in coincidence.... Here is a letter from your team about the fact the profiles were there and she had them removed after I contacted you... [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like the company to return all 100% of money spent on this scammer per their anti-scammer policy

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[redacted]Anastasiadate.com knowingly has scammers on their web site. Her profile says that her English is a beginner level but allot of men have paid for classes from your company to give her English lessons so either she is incorrect on her English level which is a violation or you are incorrectly listing her English level to get more men to buy the classes for her. This violation requires a dull refund. On Anastasiadate.com web site it says that Juliya has been "verified" which states "the lady never authorized her name, photograph, or any other profile information to appear on another dating site while she is present on Anastasia web sites. She also Accepts that she will never receive or seek to receive financial compensation" She admitted to me she was on other web sites which is a violation of your policy which requires a full refund

Review: On 9/*/15 I agreed to a one-time purchase of 80 chat credits and paid $56.00 by [redacted] debit card. On 9/**/15 this company arbitrarily and without authorization when into my bank account and stole $56.00 for another 80 chat credits which caused my bank account to become overdrawn. Per telecom with customer service representative "Searcy," I requested that the $56.00 be credited back to my bank account and he stated that the funds would be returned within 24 hours. However, as of this date, no refund have been received.Desired Settlement: Refund the $56.00. As no agreed purchase was authorized.

Dear [redacted],Please note that per the terms and conditions of our website, you agreed for auto-charge to be enabled when you signed up for our service. You have always had the opportuntity to turn that off from day one however you did not and that is why you were auto-charged. In most cases like yours, we turn it off on your account at your request. I will confirm that this has been done if you chose to do so...which I imagine you do. Be aware that we refund any credits not used since the "top-off". Can you confirm you did not use our service past the initial credits you bought? You can contact me directly at: [redacted] if you have any questions...as I will be happy to assist you to sort this out. If indeed a refund has been processed, please note that we cannot put this back into your bank ourselves. This requires your credit card company and bank to process this on their end. You might want to contact them on how long this takes but from the time we initiate the refund, we can tell you that on average it can take a couple of weeks.I will verify what has been done since you spoke with the customer service team and get a status on your account in the meantime. Review: The site sells credits to chat with women in Ukraine for the purpose of establishing a relationship. Once a member has created an account and logged in, invitations to chat begin appearing indicating that specific women are inviting a person to chat with an initial message, such as "Hi, how are you?" etc. I responded to numerous such chat requests with these women for the purpose of chating, under the assumption that these women were purposefully contacting me to chat. However, after several recent chats and my last chat in particular, I became suspicious and am now convinced that the chat invitations are fraudulent. Specifically the chat invitations are NOT initiated by women, but rather are initiated by a computer program, including the initial chat invitation message. My last chat invite was by a woman whose initial message seemed odd. When I accepted her invitation to chat I asked her if the initial message was hers, and she responded that it was not her message, she had no idea that the message was hers. I had several women state similar issues when I asked them about the initial messages in their chat invitations. This can only mean that the women on the site are NOT inviting men to chat. A computer program is inviting men to chat, and in fact, a computer program is also sending the first chat message. Therefore the chat invitations are fraudulent, as are the initial messages. They do not initiate from the women on the site but rather from the company's software. This condition is NOT clearly disclosed in the company's terms and conditions, and as such represents a fraudulent service which gives the member the false impression that a woman is truly interested in chatting with him. I contacted the agency the instant I was convinced of this fraud, and sent them screen shots of the chat page where it was very clear that the woman in the chat had no knowledge that she had initiated the chat with me, nor was she aware of the initial message which the chat indicated came from her. In the chat she denies that the message came from her. I can supply these screen shots to the Revdex.com as part of this complaintDesired Settlement: I have spent $1,164.93 on what I believe now to be fraudulent contacts (chats) with women on this site. While the women may in actually be real, the pretense created by the site, the impression created by the site, and the way in which the chat invitations appear indicate that women are reviewing one's profile and initiating chat contact with an initial message to let a member know that they are interested. This is fraudulent as this is NOT what is occurring. The website's own software is auto generating the chat invites and the initial messages to give a false impression of interest. This is NOT disclosed at the point of sale or in the terms or condition of the sights usage, and in my believe clearly constitutes an intention to be deceptive on the part of the company. I am seeking a total refund of $1,164,93 to my [redacted] credit account. Should this refund not be made this matter will be referred to the New York Attorney General's office as deceptive practice and/or consumer fraud, and my experience will be shared on various consumer protection websites so that other's may know of my experience.

Response:

Hello, I am unclear if you have complained to our customer service department or not. Have you filled an anti-scam complaint? You are making some allegations that I am unable to investigate without knowing who are the ladies you are referring to and review the chat history. Please contact the customer service department as per our contact number on the homepage of our site to look into this matter. As for assuming that the chat invites are automated, that is entirely incorrect. It is however possible that the ladies do not recall the initial greeting they have used to reach out to you to begin a conversation. Chat invites are just that...to start a conversation and the ladies can initiate this as they want. Thanks and looking forward to reviewing your case once a formal complaint has been logged with CSD to investigate.Best regards,[redacted]

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The response does not address the specific allegation that the site requires payment for chats with members, many of whom are not actually initiating the chats. The site also sends letters to customers that are not actually sent from its members, but rather auto-generated to the customer by the website program/software. Both of these deceptive tactics give the impression that the customer is receiving actual invitations to chat or write letters to members of the site, when this is completely false, but results in the customer spending money on the impression that another member of the site is actually interested in them. The tactic of auto-generating chat invites and letters is deceptive and false. I joined the site under the impression that the members would actually be interested in exchanging chats and letters, and this is NOT the case at all. Therefore I am seeking a full refund of all monies paid to the site to chat and/or read/write letters.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

The client has not contacted customer service to file a complaint. No specific details of any chats have been provided to investigate his allegations. The allegations are unfounded and simply untrue. Chats are conducted by live members when they are online. Some members due to using translation software may on occasion convey something that does not translate well or in interpreted incorrectly. This however, does not imply that the person is not real but rather using translation tools to help them communicate. As such what is translated and understood by the other party could be entirely different than what was intended and thus not what the person said...or at least tried. The client can and will be refunded for any and all chats that are either vulgar or inappropriate if they violate the terms and conditions of our site...however again the client has refused to contact us for assistance and rather airing frustration for possibly not having found dating success as this also happens when some clients are disappointed in their efforts and look for justification. The client's account has been suspended pending an investigation of all communications by our internal conflict resolution team.

Review: I am a member of [redacted], a dating site for hispanic females. The site charges money to buy credits to be used in chat. I bought some of the discounted credits and used most of them. I continued to browse the site, but it became obvious very soon that the girls are employed by the dating site to encourage chat on the site at a high cost and that they were likely fake profiles to begin with. It's essentially a scam site, as any search for reviews will show.

I knew this and just browsed the incoming chats for fun, not ever wanting to spend any more real money. I assumed that was free. There was only, as the business claims, a short notice of this ongoing monthly fee that they charged me for. I was not expecting this fee and was surprised to learn that I had signed up for an ongoing membership. I bought chat credits and the transaction was structured to give the impression that it was a standalone deal. No 'choose this membership level to continue' box was displayed.

So the showing of whatever it was they claim they showed, was not how honest dating sites do business. An honest site will clearly show that you are buying a monthly membership of some length. And those honest sites don't charge for chat. Anastasia Date makes it look like you are buying chat credits without a membership fee.

Look at this gem of a find in their policy section: [redacted] Prices

Registration on Amolatina is free with no obligation. Browsing Ladies profiles is also free.

Credits are standard units that enable you to read and write letters to ladies registered at Amolatina. They also allow you to view ladies videos.

As we do not charge a membership fee, this means that every time you view a ladies video, read a message from a lady and every time you send a message to a lady, you pay 10 credits. Credits are purchased and appear on your account. As you use them your inventory of credit is reduced accordingly

Credits are purchased by going to My Account, then selecting "Purchase Credits" in the lower left-hand side of your account page. Complete the order form, enter your credit card number and billing address. Credits will be added to your account immediately upon successful completion.Desired Settlement: All I want is the $9.99 back that they, in my opinion, finagled me out of.

Review: This agency does not offer support in Ernest. I asked them to look into transactions that were made against my credit card and asked for a refund on them as both a very dissatisfied customer and because I believe the transactions were not mine. I was told I would hear back in 24 hours after talking with two different Customer Service people to hear back almost a week later with a sorry can't do anything about it.Desired Settlement: I asked for a refund of two $96 transactions.

Business

Response:

Hello,When you registered for the system you agreed in the tems and conditions to be renewed for additional credits as your balance dropped low or close to zero. As such you were "topped off". You used these credits for various services and thus you were rendered services that you know you were funding from credits you purchased. To say you were unaware is inaccurate as you were never given credits for free to use our services which is why you signed up and provided your credit card details and agreed to auto-renewal of credits. You should have disabled this by simply clicking the check box to remove the defult acceptance in your account settings. I imagine you did not find love on our site and thus you are not satisfied with your success...that however does not mean you were not rendered the services you signed up for, paid, and were provided. Is that more clear as to why customer service is a bit shocked and cannot do much as you spent credits you purchased and used for services. It is like eating an entire pizza at pizza hut and then saying...I didn't like it and I want my money back. Thanks for understanding,[redacted]

Consumer

Response:

I had not authorized automatic top up nor had I ever until those two payments ever purchased $96.00 it has always been $56.00 increments.

Business

Response:

We have looked into the history of all transactions within this customer's account. The account feature for auto-charge was disabled after the client was charged and used the credits. He claims he did not authorize it however he did authorize auto-charge when he opened his account. We have very strict polliceis of sticking to our terms and conditions. All clients can disable this feature if they wish and in this case this client didn't and seems to have realized it after the fact and more importantly after he also used the credits he says he now never authorized. In this case a refund for authorized auto-charge and credits spent is not warranted. This is and has always been our position in cases like this. Thank you for understanding,[redacted]

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I understand that your major point is the credits used during these purchases were used. My chief complaint is that these purchases were not authorized by me. I not at anytime during this account active time purchased $96.00 packages before these two disputed transactions. Nor were either of these on the auto update system as you have previously claimed. I had hoped a simple easy and quick resolution to this but it seems that your company does not believe in customer service and is there only to take money from paid members without any regard for there safety or concern for them. I have already cancelled and after a few requests had my account removed from the system. I had hoped a reasonable course of action be taken from and by your company before submitting a complaint to Revdex.com but it seems that even that you careless about as your history here shows. You fight about the money because virtual credits were used, no expense to either yourself personally or the company as it is all pure profit. Messages are auto translated by your software and your non paying (Lady) members are advised to at no time give out or share personal information with paying members. Even to the point of threatening them with removal of account. Your are a business to make money this I understand all businesses are. Your disregard of the request purely on the "But the credits have been used" scenario is both unreasonable and selfish. I have been polite and understanding of your points. I have not made threats or in anyway sought anything beyond what I believe is due and have attempted I feel to be reasonable in my request for return payment. I have taken a copy of all transactions as fortunately your system emails every transaction made. I am aware that you are basing your stand on communications read between me and a couple of your non paying members and the fees involved in such communications. The fact that your staff have readly available access to membership emails and communications is frightening.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

To Amolatina, [redacted], Revdex.com,

On 2-*-15 [redacted] advertised a $2.99 join fee but then set up [redacted] account up for monthly automatic payments with out my consent.

Please investigate why they did this illegally.

I contacted all parties involved and have done the best I could to stop this theft. They had no approval from me other than the $2.99 fee that they advertised.

Sincerely,

Here’s The Message From [redacted] That Alerted Me To This Theft

Response:

Hello [redacted], For starters did you ever contact the customer service team of AmoLatina? From your message it does not appear you did as they would have been able to explain to you how autmatic billing works. I should point out that in the case of online memberships like Microsoft Office 360 for example, we are no different. You register to join, you pay an initial monthly introductory fee, and then agree to monthly billing of automatic payments which are deducted by your credit card. This can be cancelled anytime by unchecking the tick box that permits the monthly automatic biling on your account. Incidently this has alwas been something you can do from the momemt of registration by clicking on the settings of your profile. It does not appear you did that until after you were automatically billed.I will confirm with our CSD team that your account is not automatically set for billing of monthly membership fees. This means that in the future you will have to manually do this yourself should you wish to maintain access/your subscription. As for [redacted], we cannot speak for them and you should write them seperately...though I do not see an issue there. Thanks for understanding,Gregory V[redacted]CSD Director AmoLatina

Response:

To The Revdex.com & Amolatina: Amolatina must never set up a customer’s account for monthly payments without the customer’s knowledge or consent. This is illegal and is theft. Amolatina must never advertise a $2.99 join fee which they use to get the customers payment information and then set that customer up for monthly payments without the customer’s knowledge or consent. Thank-you Revdex.com for resolving this matter. I suggest that companies like Amolatina (and their affiliates) be monitored for compliance to ethics. Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: This dating site is loaded with scams and charges by the minute to talk or write to women who have no intention of ever meeting and will say what they feel you want to hear. Many of the women are either automated or using and auto respond program. Their only goal is to keep you using minutes without ever delivering. This is really a "sex line" in disguise. You can enter a profile with no picture or information and will receive countless messages about how hot you look and references to letters you never wrote. I made a "female" profile to see what the game is and it says they will retouch your pictures to be more appealing to men and teaches how to "chat them up" It warns you to keep your box to less than 20 messages un-replied to so it will send more men your way.

The big con is you must use their "call-me" service to trade contact info. Most will find a way to use up your ten minutes without giving information. This is at a cost of 80 usd. If a woman does trade info with you, she will disappear from the site or ignore you. She will turn up a few months later with a different story line. In some cases, they will even try to set you up again with their new story. The "dates" are chaperoned with a 1000 usd fee for a translator who makes sure the woman behaves and shows up.

If you announce that you will visit one of the countries they serve, all profiles from that area will be "unavailable" during the month of your trip.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of 50% or $2000 of the money spent on this scam under the disguise of legitimate verified dating. I have been a member there for over a year and had the same thing occur no less than 5 times. The first one or two could be just bad eggs, but there is a constant pattern of this. My online research also concurs and mirrors my experiences with this company.

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted], It appears you are using the site as a joke to trick members into chatting with someone that is not genuine then after spending your credits in trying to communicate with them, complain to us that you want your money back for conducting "research" on non-suspecting members. You mention you have been on our site for 5 years or so and I am sure by know familiar with our pricing plans. The fact that you have not been sincere and most likely this has been noticed by other members which is why you most likely not had any luck is evident to why you are not in a positive relationship like the majority of all our other members. Just like you accuse members of scamming you, you have been scamming them it appears. This is not tolerated and as you know we have a strong anti-scam policy against it. You have never once specified in your claim who has scammed you, nor any specific incident. Rather you make broad alligatgions which are baseless and unfounded. As such there is nothing we can do to investigate, nor any reason to refund you. You used your credits to communicate with members and did not find love which we and no other dating site can guarantee. Your account has been deleted for violation of our policy of using the platform to trick members. I can assure you that most likely other members assumed you were not serious and joked with you in this regard in fun. Like you said you never even had a profile photo uploaded to your profile thus how could you ever get success? We recommend everyone to have a complete detailed profile. As for your comment of sex chat and chaperones, we do not offer that. If you discussed that with a member privately, that was your communication...and not that of our site nor staff.Wish you good luck in finding a mate elsewhere...thanks for understanding.Sincerely, [redacted]CSD Director

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]While no amicable solution may be reached, I will now specify the "members" who I dealt with while on the site. I only changed my profile after my photos started getting deleted daily and read up on similar experiences others have had while there. (ID: [redacted]) This one proposed to me and claimed to live in New York. She actually lives in China. (ID: [redacted]) This one is now on her third story line. Currently she is claiming to be tire of being a millionare. Prior stories were government employee and shop owner. (ID: [redacted]) This one sent only fake computer generated pictures and disappeared after trading email addresses. She has since reappeared. (ID: [redacted]) This one is on her 2nd story now. 1st was cosmetic sales and now uses a phony nurse line. We traded info and emails were sent. She claims that none would get through her net, but every time I said I would leave the site, magically an email would appear that very day. (ID: [redacted]) and finally this member set up plans to come to the US and I made arrangements here and never even got a [redacted]. She faked the entire trip, including claiming she was robbed at the Seattle airport and had to return to China. After making a few calls the next day, I found that she never even left China or bought tickets. The airport was closed during the times of the fake robbery. I asked her about this online and she admitted the deception and now appears from time to time with taunting comments about it. Logically, The only reason these women would continue to keep a person chatting only on the site is if they are getting something for the effort. I have submitted 2 photos of the "automated" letter writing which appears to use an insertion program.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Response:

Dear [redacted], Thanks for providing the ID numbers of the ladies from our site for us to investigate. I believe our CSD team has tried to contact you recently to request you please complete an Anti-scam Claim on any of them which you believe have scammed you in some way. You mentioned that some seemed to have changed "stories", I am not sure how that constitues a scam. Changing jobs certainly does not constitute scam. People have been known to either be vauge at stories or detailed depending on how close they are to another person...so I won't speculate but I can only suggest that you ask for details or more information if it confusing or conflicts other statements. As for ladies from China, translation of words can be difficult nevertheless. As for the lady that said she would meet you and didn't come to USA...we can try to get her side of the story. I am aware of people making promises to see someone and then back out...again this is not a scam as she could have gotten cold feet for any reason. The fact she may be taunting you is another concern. If you can provide us references to these chats or emails that imply she is not sincere and causing you stress we can do something about it. When we get her side of the story we will know more. I am aware at times ladies become panicky when travelling to meet someone or even lie about coming out when they have a hard time saying they are afraid or possibly stressed or feel pressured. I am unaware of what is the situation in this case...but it could be she just didn't want to go to the next level yet or with you in particular. We need to review the chat messages to see what was communicated and have better understanding of the situation. If you can please fill out the anti-scam claim this week will be great as we can contact the lady to begin our investigation. Sincerely, [redacted]CSD Director

Review: From the number of complaints filed with the Revdex.com, I am sure t is familiar with Anastasia. It is also the subject of unfavorable reviews most of which regard Anastasia. I went on the site and without my knowledge or approval Anastasia charged my credit card $15.99. In justifying this charge it used the fine print defense that I had not read carefully its terms and conditions. I have both emailed and spoken with Anastasia requesting that it reverse the charges on my credit card. My credit card is also disputing the charge. My "membership" has also be cancelled.Desired Settlement: Anastasia should reverse the charge it placed on my credit card.

Response:

Hello [redacted],I have reviewed your complaint on Revdex.com. To be clear we do not get many complaints here unlike your assumption. We have over 50,000 members joining out site each month. I can assure you that nearly all members that sign up for a membership based service like ours understand that the credit card details they enter when they register is needed to activate the auto-matic charges to re-subscribe on a monthly basis or when credits run out. You like everyone else accepted these terms and like everyone else were instructed on how to disable this feature. I happen to be a member of [redacted] which operates the same. [redacted] operates the same as well and equally a service that has many more people than we do signing up each month. You were billed for services that you imply you did not want...is that correct? I would be willing to make an exception in your case if you can confirm if you did not use the credits you were billed for. Can you clarify that? If not, and you used the credits then there is not much I can do as it would be like me asking [redacted] or [redacted] to give me my money back for services I used up.Please be careful when using subsription based services or sites that will auto recharge you as they do it for a reason...so your service is not disrupted. I can have your account noted to disable this service if you like...just confirm. You will have to manually do this in the future and be cut off if you are in a communication with anyone should your credits run out. This is up to you and has always been your choice to activate or disable.Thank you for understanding, I look forward to hearing back from you. Sincerely,[redacted]CSD Director

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Not quite; I have accepted Anastasia's reply to the Revdex.com only because it has refunded all of the charges it placed on my credit card. It is a scam and has been the subject of numerous complaints online. Had it not refunded the charges, I was prepared to file a complaint with the NY Attorney General. Online dating sites of knowingly promise more than they can possibly deliver. Their sites may reasonably be described as engaging in "fraud in the inducement." I should not be surprised if the Revdex.com hears more about AnastasiaDate if it has not already done so. Thank you Revdex.com for your prompt attention to this matter. I shall trouble no more in this matter. [redacted]

Review: I have used Anastasiadate for a number of years. Just last year I began to find out from sources on the web that the women at the site were paid to be there. I was given access to information about the woman I was talking to on the site. She already had a fiancee but was engaging me in conversation at the site. Conversation that I had to pay for.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of all the money I have spent at this horrible organization over the years dating back to 2010.

Business

Response:

[redacted], Have you filled out an anti-scam claim? I am unclear why you are complaining here and not following our process for refunds. As such I cannot refund you any monies as you have not even provided us the details of the member you claim has scammed you by having a boyfriend. By the way, we do not ban members from dating other members, as it is their choice. Many members date multiple individuals until they decide on the one to settle down with. It would be anther thing however if any party was married which in this case is not the situation it seems. I think you may have ended your relationship for any matter of reasons and thus blaming the site for not being able to guarantee love, which no dating site can do. If you have been scammed for anything other than someone dating multiple members, I would suggest you file an anti-scam claim form as we can investigate this matter in more detail based on your assistance to what what said, claims of evidence you have discovered, etc. We are aware at times that some members will fake a reason for a refund when in reality they just didn't find love...so I hope you can apprecaite we have to investigate your claim like all the rest and look into all communications between the parties to determine if any scam did take place. Again, dating mutliple people is not scam. I would also point out that to most women if you never met them before, they may not take you serious...so if you can clarify if you ever met would also help. You can file your anti-scam claim by contacting customer service or clicking on the anti-scam claim link on the website to fill in your details of the incident(s). Looking forward to hear from you and get your claim to process. Thanks you for understanding, Gregory V[redacted]CSD Director

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Your site claims to provide women who are looking for foreign men for serious relationships/marriage. In my instance, this was certainly not true. I have joined an organization that researches and finds fraudulent profiles on sites like Anastasiadate. Of course, I was using your site before I joined the organization. When I divulged who I was talking to at Anastasiadate, my friends found the profile of [redacted]. It was obvious she was not looking for a relationship with any foreign man, let alone myself. Months later, they found out that she had a longtime boyfriend via her [redacted] account. They posted the video online. You are right. She can date whomever she chooses. She can have boyfriends. But you should not charge the men who use your service, to talk to her or any woman. It is obvious you cannot guarantee the women at your site are looking for serious relationships. You compare yourself to other dating sites but you omit something that is obvious. At other sites, I can pay a fee and talk to any woman I wish. At your site, I have to pay to talk to [redacted] without knowing any of this information. I have to find it myself. So the question is this, why is she at your site in the first place, when it is obvious she has a longtime boyfriend whom she loves very much? What could motivate her to do deceive men who are at the site? I was told you would respond to me like I was an [redacted]. But I guess I am just too naive. I thought perhaps, this was all a misunderstanding. Of course, it isn't. Good day, sir.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

[redacted], You complaint seems to have morphed. First you complained that the girl you were dating online was getting paid to communicate with you or it seems that was your implied issue. Now it seems you are complaining that she has a boyfriend and thus she is a scammer is some way because of it? You also reference other websites and content about a person that we are not aware of such as ** or [redacted]. Without references to these links, how can we verify your story? How can we verify if these sites were not created by anyone including yourself? My point here is in my years of working for the company, I have seen clients go to great lengths to have another member deleted from our site when a relationship ends. It is rare but it happens as the way people respond to rejection or breakups can range from nothing to out right crazy things I won't even mention. People are people. Given your latest issue seems to be around a girl dating other guys, just as you can date other ladies...I believe you already agreed this is pausable. Thus, even if she is or you are for example, does not mean you are not also interested in finding someone serious. Sometimes people date when they are lonely or just want to be with someone. The reasons are endless but at the end of the day they may not be satisfied with anyone until they meet the right person...thus it takes time to become exclusive and eventually take dating to the level of marriage.Weather she or you are on our site or any other...dating can and will occur until someone finds the right person. As for saying she loves you and dating another guy...does not mean she doesn't love you or love the other guy more or less. Love is not easy to define and you might want to ask her what it means if she is dating other people. If she tells you she isn't dating someone else, that could be true too...as she may not consider it dating. If you have never met her in real life she may not take you serious...and this is a reality that guys find out sometimes when they wait to long. It is my understanding you never filed an anti-scam claim against her. I suggest you do so we can investigate your issue. And provide us with any evidence that you stated here but have not shared in the details such as photos, urls, etc. Please do so this week so as we can have our team contact her to get her side of the story. My reply to you is not meant to suggest you are an [redacted] as you previously stated...just want to be clear about that. I understand you are frustrated your relationship did not develop into something more serious...and I hope you can understand there is another side to this story that we cannot know until you provide us more details at this point. Nevertheless, I do not see a basis for refund at the moment. Sincerely, Gregory V[redacted]CSD Director

Review: My banking account was auto-billed several times without my authorization. The total charges exceeded $200.00. I had done business with this company on line for several years. I NEVER authorized auto-billing of my account. When I called Ivan in customer service I was told that I had to "De-select" that auto billing on the membership form. This is shady business if not outright fraud. why should I have ot take an action to insure that my account is NOT billed. One should have to initiate an action to have money withdrawn from one's account. When I ask Ivan if I could speak to a supervisor I was told that none was available.I terminated my membership and my dealing with this company and filed a FTC comusmer complaint. This is not the first time that I have had issues with this company. I think that the entire company is a scam. Regards,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want my checking account credited for $192.00 dollars. My former membership number was [redacted]. Since they know how to deduct money from my account I presume that they know how to put money back into the account.

Response:

Dear [redacted],I have read your complaint. You state that you were charged for over $200 but your claim you should be refunded $192...which is it? I will follow up with my customer service department to find out what is the status of your account. I understand you have closed it out.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]Sirs,In all due respect, I was involved with your firm (AmoLatina) for several years. You, you fact, changed your web site and you billing/purchasing page. Prior to the change a customer was NOT required to OPT out of Auto Renewal. It is blatantly deceptive marketing to require someone to OPT Out of Auto-billing rather than OPT INTO auto billing. You deceptive practices were only discovered in my monthly check of my bank account. I was auto billed 2 times for $96.00 each. I was auto billed one time for $15.00.I found your web site amusing and was thus entertained for a while. I accepted it for what it is, soft porn adult fantasy entertainment. I had one lady from Brazil ask me for $4000 to buy a car. She also told me that if I would send her flowers just one more time she would send me some photos [redacted]. Of course, I didn't do it.I actually arranged a date with one of your ladies while on a business trip to San Jose, costa Rica. We were set to meet when you e-mailed me asking for details of what kind of "gift" I had brought for here. I cancelled the date and went to the infamous "[redacted] at the [redacted]. It proved ot be far less expensive than Amolatina. While in Columbia I arranged a date with a lovely lady and we are still communicating. While waiting ot meet here in your office in [redacted] I observed 4 ladies sitting in front of 3 to 5 monitors each carrying on 'Chats" with other fools. None of hte ladies looked like the super models on your website. In my long involvement with you I managed to jump through the hoops and meet one very nice lady but it required kissing lots of frogs. I have learned that you employ contractors in various countries to provide your services and all allow that they might not follow all of your rules but I do think that you know what is going on with you fictions chats. I am thinking of sharing some of my experiences on the many web site that provide commentary on you business. Don't worry, there will always be Western men who are lonely and dream of the ideal [redacted] lady and their will always be disadvantaged ladies who will lend their faces you you.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Hello [redacted],I can confirm your were refunded recently for the balance on your account. This should post to your bank/card in about 2 weeks on average. Likewise, you can contact me at: [redacted] and we can check tha status then from our end to assist.Thank you,Gregory V[redacted]CSD Director

Review: I purchased some credits for chat and letter writing. I notified the website I wanted to cancel my account and that I wanted a refund for unused credits. I was told it is against their policy to give refunds. No where did I see this when I enrolled. They make it easy to register a profile and rush you with chats that women are already talking to you while you enroll. This makes you purchase credits fast without reading their terms. This is deceptive advertising. Other dating agencies have no problem giving a refund back to the man and is considered standard in this industry. This is a deceptive agency.Desired Settlement: I wanted to be refunded for my about 850 credits that were not used.
