Revdex.com, Thank you for providing us an opportunity to assist our customerI have reviewed the customer's order and the customer bought the [redacted] Grille Guard on 3/29/Per our website this manufacturer ( [redacted] ) offers a year warranty on the finish and a year warranty on the part being able to work and function correctlyThe customer called in to inform us that the grille is rusting which will fall under "finish" and is covered under a year warrantyThe manufacturer [redacted] has declined the warranty request since the issue is outside the warranty timeframeAlthough the manufacturer declined the warranty request we wanted to assist our customer in some way other than just saying sorry and apologizingSo we offered the customer $in store credit to use to buy a replacement and the customer declinedWe have done everything we can do to assist this customerPlease see below, it is a cut out from our live website that states the warranty timeframe for the part the customer has purchased:"Your [redacted] Grille Guard is backed by a 3-year workmanship warranty and 1-year finish warranty"Sincerely, [redacted] Contact Center Manager Customer Satisfaction

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] If my complaint was a scratch or a not so perfect paint job on the Top then yes I would except the offer of $to repair it here locally but this isn't the case , the Top is broken at the worst possible place it could beThis top has two critical attachment points, these points are designed to have a gas strut attached to hold it in the up position and it takes both to accomplish this task one isn't enough to do that so its just a top laying on the bed of a truckI placed a call to the manufacturer of this Top and spoke with ***( [redacted] ) his question was did I still have the box in which I don't but that showed me he was willing to take it back or at least have that conversationThis company just wants me to go away well I will go away when they do the right thing by replacing it or refunding at least half of what I paid to get another one from a local distribution company that will stand behind the products they sell...One last thing I'm sure the top was insured by [redacted] because who ships a $Top through at least trucking terminals without insuring it? Come on [redacted] do the right thing by your customers

Revdex.com, I have reviewed the customer's orderThe customer placed an order for an tonneau cover, which is a very heavy item, so it ships out via Freight TruckWhen an item ships out via Freight there are special delivery laws that are beyond our controlBy law the freight company has to allow the customer to fully inspect the item to ensure there are no damages to the item because once the customer signs the Bill of Lading (BOL) by law, they are accepting the package as isSo if the customer signs the BOL and there is any damage, the freight company is no longer liable which means we are unable to file a shipping claimDue to the special instructions that are associated with freight, AutoAnything, takes great pride in educating our customers about the special freight laws so they do not end up stuck with an item that is damaged because they wee unaware with the freight lawsOn 11/we emailed this customer informing him of the freight lawsThe customer also called in to check his order status on 11/11, where we also verbally informed the customer of the freight laws (call is recorded)Even though we did our due diligence by informing this customer that if he signs the package he is stuck with it on two separate occasion, once verbally and once via email, we still offered the customer a $to help with repairs since we are not able to file a shipping claim since the customer signed the BOL accepting all responsibilityThe customer has refunded our $creditRegards,***AutoAnything Contact Center Manager
