We have worked with customer *** *** ***He apparently cancelled at one of our sister Anytime Fitness clubs...which usually we tell the member to cancel at the club at which you joinedThe other club was trying to help out the customer by doing at that
club because it was closer, but his cancel paperwork didn't make it to our club
This is our fault, however we have issued a refund back to the member that we be processed through our billing company and put back into his account ASAP This refund could take 7-days

Hello ***.Thank you for taking the time to speak with me this afternoon. *** *** requested to freeze his account for two months (September and October). Paperwork was signed for the freeze by Mr***. His account was then reactivated on November 5th. ***
called the gym after December's payment drafted (12/6/17). He was upset because he wanted his account cancelled, however he did not request his account to be cancelled in September. He requested a freeze for months. I left a message on Mr***'s voicemail stating this fact. He called us back on 12/15/17, stating that he wanted his account cancelled and wanted a refund. He was very rude to our manager on the phone when she was explaining his freeze request. I then called Mr*** myself to resolve the issue. I ended up approving the refund of $and had the refund processed on 12/15/17. All of this was recorded below by ABC Financial Services. I thought it might be helpful to see the progression of events. I was very surprised that he reported us to the Revdex.com since he was issued a full refund. However, it looks like he made the claim before he spoke with us on 12/15/17. We respond to this complaint as followsMs*** *** contacted us on November 15, and purchased our Monthly SEO Link Building serviceUpon purchasing the SEO service, Ms*** was informed of the payment schedule, time frame, content needed
for her website and phrases that were chosenShe authorized on this day for the immediate charge of her first month to begin her services and acknowledged that her campaign would automatically renew each month with the bill date of the 10thMs*** contacted our support on December 13, upset about the renewal that had taken place on December 10, for her second month of her SEO servicesHer SEO agent returned her call to discuss her reasons for her dissatisfactionOn December 19, Ms*** called and spoke with a supervisor who explained to her the payment schedule she had agreed to and that we could cancel her service and issue an immediate refund for the month of December but we could not issue a refund from November as the work had already been performedShe wanted proof of the work that had been done but the call was disconnected before she could advise the supervisor how she wanted to proceed with her accountThe supervisor she spoke with followed the call up with an email providing examples of the work that had already been done as well as advised that the most recent charge could be refunded if she would like to proceed with cancelling her services
A thorough review of all of the correspondence with Ms*** was done and we determined that the proper expectations were given and the described services were providedWe have cancelled her Monthly SEO Link Building service for her and have issued a refund for the December 10, renewal chargeWe have contacted Ms*** informing her of this refund and our response to her complaint upon our review

Was told needed to come in to the gym to cancel membership,paid years without using their services,come to find out did not have to sign,
I was a member for almost years( since 2012) at Livingston rd Naples FL I enjoyed going to the gym, for personal reasons I had to cancel the membershipEvery time I would call they would say the same thing, you have to come in and sign some documents to close itSo the direct deposit continued to withdraw from my account for yearsI finally had the opportunity to go to the gym and close my membership, for starters the person that assisted me with it acted like he was doing me a favor, because my debit card had expired(never received a letter or phone call) the last payments did not go through(even though they have taken years worth of monthly fees that were not used verified by the records)Stated that there's nothing that he could do that I had to pay I order for me to close the accountSo I paid yet again for services

the $has been refunded back into *** *** accountThis was an oversight

I have contacted this business on a weekly and daily basisI have called and left messages and emailed and no one can even replyI moved over a hour and a half away from this gym and I'm over a hour away from any anytime fitnessI called this branch on January for weeks and finally got an awnsert by phone only (no return call or email btw) and I was told my account was closedI have been charged in the 24th of every month since thenI want these charges to stop and receive my re-embursement

We just had a pond dug by  ponds the last couple days, Tyler the operator did a good job, but after the pond settled for days we noticed a few spots that never got dug,an the pond is no where near feet we called an sent messages tothe Boss for days trying to get ahold of him to let him know before they come got the machine, he never made any effort to contact us back, so here we sit with a pond that still needs to be dug out, an for the price we payed him he shoulda made it right with us!! We feel that  was good enough to cash our check, but not good enough to give us what we payed for, so with that being said if we had it to do all over again we would of went with a different company just based on how Dave Lash does business, once he gets your money he don't care bout the job!! We paid $8,to have a nice pond an ended up with nothing but a mud pit that still needs to be cleaned out,we're very disappointed with the money we paid,an the result we got really feel like

The next form shows her monthly invoice schedule from beginning to currentYou will notice that she is past due since AprilHer due date is the 1st of the monthShe called on april 5th not wanting to pay her past duesBeyond my understanding, or our policies, one of my staff placed a hold on her account for May, giving her time to take care of the past duesThe one month hold expired, and that is why you see a past due for June. The first attachment shows her billing home page and total past due amount. What I offered her yesterday was to forgive the late fees, June past due bill, and waive the day cancellation notice I only requested that she pay APRIL and come sign off on the cancellationThis is more than meeting her half way. I do not see an issue in the way I handled this businessThat being said, if April is not taken care of before July 1st, the account will be eligible to be sent to our collections agency. thank you *** ***anytime fitness601***

June, July August, Every time he was told that as per his contract he needed to supply a written request of cancellation along with his orders or proof of move. Each time he complained and asked for a supervisor who also told him he needed to mail those items inOn 10/22/*** *** our billing processor received the necessary documents and processed his cancellation as per the agreement
He was sent a letter stating he was cancelled with no further payment due

I am rejecting this response because: There are no claimsFour people in the same building bought the same remote from the same place and all received year old remotesSo, either Gatehouse is lazy and doesn't inspect items that are delivered to them before they fulfill them, thereby breaking customer trust and the law, OR they are pocketing the new items they get, and sending out old items, as their distributor believesJust because they have a paper that shows they ordered the item doesn't mean that's what they sent me.I, in turn, stand by my factual claim that my attorney and I believe that The Gatehouse is involved in consumer fraudA complaint was also raised with the attorney generals office with notarized statements from the other victims of the Gatehouse showing they got the same remote I did.My issue was not that they would have to send this item to a manufacturer, although they omitted that's how they would handle it, my issue was they sent me a year old remote and refuse to admit that THEY screwed up and now will not honor to fix THEIR mistakeThe fact that they want to fight customers over a $remote and call their customers liars shows that this company has no intention on resolving this on good faithTheir own distributor has to fix Gatehouses mistakes. It appears that Gatehouse has no intention on fixing issues they've caused by sending out defective, old and/or used equipmentI'm going to continue this through my attorney at this point and will happily see them in court over consumer fraud.I, just like Gatehouse have a paper trail that shows a lot more data than theirsI have timestamped messages from August of to others stating that the remote was different than their picture online and that I was concerted about damageI hope they're ready to prove that the exact remote that was sent to them matches the serial numbers of the one they sent me, along with everyone else they've defraudedWelcome to paperwork nightmare, GatehouseYou picked the wrong one to rip off this time.Including a picture of one other the other remotes that another tenant in my unit received, which is also a ten year old remoteThey have an invoice as well showing this was ordered around the same time as mineSo...how many fake parts is Gatehouse sending out and pocketing the new items?Again, my overall concern is that they are not honoring a warranty repair or a refund for sending out incorrect equipmentThem treating me like garbage, calling me a liar, and continuing to stomp their feet and cry over a $remote to me shows they have no good faithThey know they got caught, and are now being defensive.Please see attached message from my maintenance man here in my building (another person who got a year old remote and has since stopped working as well) along with a screen shot of another persons remote they ordered in 8/and got a year old remote as wellI have enough proof to show they are sending out year old remotes to at least peopleSo....see you in court!Regards,

Hi- I have attached the contract that Mr*** signedIf you see the front page under "Auto Renewal Program" you will see that he initialed that this agreement "will automatically renew at the rate indicated below" and that "renewal terms may be cancelled at any time provided a day written notice is delivered the CLUB's address"This explains why he still had payments coming out after the months and why it wasn't cancelled since there was no written notice
The back of the agreement explains our cancellation policy in more detailStating that you must give days written notice to cancelIt is also written on the front of the agreement again just to make it very clear to the memberThank you,

I am rejecting this response because:I came in to the office to meet with Nick myself in July of At that meeting he agreed to zero out the months of July and AugustWithout giving me the actual cancellation fee he did some math on his computer and told me that it would be the same price to ride out the end of the contract as it would be to cancel up frontI took him at his word, which was my mistakeNow that I've been given the actual number I've calculated that if I'd cancelled up front (with the $cancellation fee and one extra month of $43) I would have saved $over riding out the contract (even with the two zeroed out months), which doesn't seem like a lot to you but it does to meI would have been happy to pay the early cancellation fee then as I knew my husband wasn't going to use the gym anymoreSaying that they have bent over backwards to keep giving him access to the gym is not a valid excuse for manipulating usI'm sure they do have a very detailed cancellation policy but when I asked about it I wasn't shown itI was just told that it would be cheaperThere are three options for this mistake: He did the math wrong when he told me thatHe did the math right and then lied to meHe didn't do the math but told me he did. I'm aware that they signed my husband into a ridiculously long contractAnd I'm aware that they had a cancellation policy in place at that timeBut when I met with them it was not shared with meFor one reason or another I was lied toAnd when I tried to follow up over the phone about it I was given so many different confusing stories that I finally just sent him in to sign a cancellation and be done with itI am not happy with the response that they tried worked to accommodate ForrestThis not an ethical way to conduct business and I am not happy with itSo even if there is nothing the Revdex.com can do for me I want that Anytime Fitness to know that what they are doing is wrong

the information and there's no notes on the said customer calling the financial website prior to her filing with your institution Our cancellation procedures are pretty simple and if someone isn't able to come in to our location to cancel during business hours we refer them to ABC financial which will process their cancellationThey require cancellation via certified mail if they are eligible for cancellation. I personally haven't received any voicemails or emails from the customer and especially under the circumstances would've assisted any way possible to help out*** *** and ***'s membership was and has been eligible for cancellationI will personally call ABC financial and make sure they are no longer billedOur clients are very important to us and we understand that life circumstances happen and we are more than happy to assist anyone when they reach out to us sincerely, *** ***
