I am rejecting this response because: I asked him flat out, repeatedly, if I could cancel if I decided I didn't want it before FebruaryHe said yes, I couldHe said nothing else about needing medical reasons or finding someone to take over

We have cancelled out ***'s account per her request and there will not be any future payments owedAs a standard practice we ask that a written cancel form be filled out
to process a cancellation with us which is why her account was still

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe information that Anytime Fitness has provided is not accurateI was told I "lied," in the response from Anytime Fitness, when in reality, all I did was try to seek recourse from my credit card companySimply stated, I paid for a service and was not receiving the serviceNot one person at Anytime Fitness contacted me to provide notification that the trainer that was working with me was firedAfter many unsuccessful calls and left messages trying to schedule my training sessions, I contacted my credit card company to notify them that I paid for a service and was not receiving such serviceAfter hearing my experience, it was the credit cards suggestion to file a claim to get the business to respondI was simply seeking recourse as I was being ripped off by a local businessThis was not my first training session at Anytime Fitness with the very same trainerThe first training package I was able to use from beginning to end with absolutely no problemThe same trainer convinced me to train with him again and was the one who sold me the packageI scheduled sessions directly with the trainer and all communication was solely with said trainerAnytime Fitness claims that another trainer called me to schedule, however, not one person from Anytime Fitness contacted me by telephone or provided me with written notification to let me know that the trainer I had been working with was no longer employed there and that a new trainer would have to be assigned to my training sessionsAdditionally, I have reviewed my telephone records and do not have any missed phone calls from Anytime FitnessI also never received written correspondence from Anytime Fitness giving me notification that my trainer no longer worked at the gym and that a new trainer would be needed. SEO Gears, purportedly an SEO marketing firm, conducted a push marketing campaign targeting sites hosted on *** Their representative *** *** contacted a representative of our website, and falsely created the impression that he was a representative of ***, offering pie-in-the-sky "improvement" to our website statsTo make a long story short, their service is completely ineffectual for our type of website, they talked a big game to the unwitting member of our organization, and sold a "bill of goods" that they did not properly disclaim as being completely and unequivocally not guaranteed, and they created and nurtured the impression that they were part of *** Fraudulent premiseSEO Gears makes sales pitches that are enticing to poorly-informed "marks" and buried in their website they completely disclaim ANY AND ALL responsibility to actually produce results of any sortWhen this was discovered, before they had commenced any work, they were told to cancel, and still have billed and collected funds via credit card A reversal is in the works with the bank Exercise extreme care when dealing with this organization

Ms *** came to the club to cancel both her and her sons membershipsIt was explained to her that we were more than welcome to cancel her membership but unfortunately was unable to cancel her sonWe further explained that the reason he could not cancel her sons membership was because he was a
member at a club in VirginiaWhen asked why he told her (company policy) that if within days another club outside of your "home club" is used 60% of the time or more the membership is automatically transferredHe then gave her the information to call the owner of the gym in VirginiaHe explained the membership was not his anymore but she could speak with the owner down thereHe said she understood and went as far as thanking him for the help

When I orignally signed up at the gym there was no mention of an month contract that they are trying to claim I was told as you can also see from the contract I attached the contract month terms space at the end of the contract was blank and the only cancellation term mentioned in the entire contract was days noticeYou will also see from the entire attached email exchange the amount they are asking for is still the amount for days notice even the Evan the other owner stated we would only be charged a prorated days notice if we choose to cancel when my husband origanally called to cancelIf the club is not choosing to honor their own promotion of a free month for referal which would have covered our prorated days notice completely the most we would owe the club for the day prorated rate is 40$.

I’d like to apologize for this customer’s experience with our cancellation process. His compaint states that he attempted to terminate the membership agreement over the phone. Due to member’s confidentiality and personal information kept on file, we kindly ask members
for written notice by either directly coming into the club and signing a cancellation request form or mail in written documentation to discontinue their service with us This process allows everything to be documented At the time of receipt of that documentation our guidelines state that the member’s account is current and in good standing to compete their request. The customer came into the club and filled out our membership cancellation form on March 30, and was not interested in bringing his account to current. Because his last payments were revoked, we could not complete his request to close his account. We want to reassure that all customers have a great experience with our facility and understand our guidelines. We have tried to resolve this matter numerous times with the customer and have all of his paperwok on file We propose these payments be made and we will certainly withhold the customer from a credit agency. We do no have a policy that requires people not to wear perfume or requires them to wear perfume. There is no way too enforce such a policy. As for fans all the fans have been cleaned, Mrs*** just so happen to join when the fan cleaning schedule was due, fan are cleaned on a
month schedule. The entire gym is professionally cleaned every day from a 3rd party cleaning company and is inspected by corporate so Mrs*** is lying about the gym being dirty. As for the new equipment (Stair mill), we were told by the manufacture (Life Fitness) that we could expect delivery in weeks. As it turned out a piece was backordered so we had to wait. We just received word that we can expect delivery the week of the 20th. Now I'm telling you what they told me and we can not control delivery dates

to the CLUB's address or their designated billing company."The member's monthly billing date is the 11th of the monthThe member called at 8:PM on May indicating that he would like to cancelThe phone was not answered because staffed hours end at 7PM on WednesdaysA return message was left stating member needs to sign our cancellation form or mail a letter to cancel, and it does require day noticeAs a follow up, an email was attempted to be sent, but the email address on file was invalidThe member came into the club to cancel after calling during staffed hours and speaking with a staff member on June 12thThe cancellation form was signed on June and cancellation was made effective that daySince the bill date was before the cancellation was signed, the member has access through to the club through July 10, with no further payments.Owner

Revdex.com spoke with the General Manager, of this location of Anytime Fitness when he called in on 5/10/at 5:00. He met with his staff member (who had originally denied the consumer's request) and the consumer and heard them both out. The consumer did miss the
deadline for notifying the gym of his intentions and the policy is that the consumer did owe the $for the second month. It is in the contract The General Manager did call the corporate headquarters to see if a refund would be possible and it was denied. He will not be able to offer a refund
